Quick access to patients information in a not-so-cramped screen.
Ease of communication with other providers
Accessible to input information for clinical studies
Works good with pharmacology warnings
Accessible from almost everywhere, even home in a very secure environment. Great tool when you're always on the move, as doctors are.
Great integration with diagnostic and imaging software. Although I think that the other vendors play a huge role in this, but Epic seems to accept them well.
What do you dislike?
Takes lots of steps to get precise information from any given patient.
Difficult to find specific information about any given patient or condition when you're looking at a disease great picture.
The most accurate information you need the more steps Epic will take, although this might not be a Epic per se problem, but I think this could be greatly improved and appreciated.
