"With an active inbound marketing strategy, Episerver is key in moving our business forward."

What do you like best?

Block Structure for maximum flexibility

Ease of editing content

UI is user friendly

Ease of Building and Adding new pages and content

Admin side and database works well when regsitering user information and supporting our customers

Ease of customization working through our Episerver implementation partner

The support that we receive from Episerver is world class. If there is a problem you can count on them for a resolution.

What do you dislike?

While I like the flexibility of building forms, the form builder is a bit tough to work with and gives inconsistent builds until you understand its limitations and develop workarounds. Forms work well and execute or needs well, building them is a bit cumbersome at times.

"Most non-intuitive CMS ever"

What do you like best?

I like the way it looks on the reader side.

What do you dislike?

It's very complicated to assemble a blog if you're a content creator. You have to upload media within different parameters, you have to go in and out of a page to assemble, and the biggest pain in the ass is the difficulty in saving, and/or unpublishing a blog.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Stick with Foundation or Wordpress instead.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's used as an information dissemination tool, and it's great when you're reading it, but as a user it's really hard to use. It's not easy like wordpress or foundation where you just format the photo and plop it in.

"Antiquated CMS that only Developers with Giant Pockets can undertsand"

What do you like best?

Nothing about this CMS is good for anyone. I find no positives.

What do you dislike?

This CMS was created to bleed the most amount of money out of a company. Nothing is secure, and no integration is out of the box. Do you need your CMS to do anything? Get ready to pay out the nose for 1 of 5 companies that can do all the work for you.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't use this.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our news site is hosted on it. I see no benefits of using this. Biggest mistake the company has made.

What Web Content Management solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"Very polished platform that works great for both editors and developers"

What do you like best?

As a developer I really like that they have made my life easier overall. It's small things like reducing build and compile times to upgrading procedure which is really smooth. It's easy and fast to extend your current solution and uses a strongly typed model in the background. It's a million small things that add up to two big words: Productivity and Innovation.

As an editor, Episerver is really easy to use. The core functionality of updating and publishing is prioritized while advanced functionality is more hidden which leads to a simple and clean user interface that editors love. An Episerver editor typically needs very little training to be productive.

What do you dislike?

Episervers weak side is actually that they are bad at communicating what a good platform they actually have. So Episervers marketing would be my only answer here. But on the other hand I prefer a company that focuses on making a really great product instead of selling a crappy one so...

Recommendations to others considering the product

Episerver CMS might not have ALL possible features. Other CMSs will score higher if you just check if functionality X Y Z exist. The difference is that Episerver actually does the core functionality great! It really does. The few features it actually lacks you will never use anyway. There is always a balance between making the CMS easy-to-use and able to solve generic problems. I think Episerver has found a great balance here. Use it! Love it!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've built most solutions from global intranets in the cloud to e-commerce solutions to government websites.

"This solution works well when your IT Web Dev staff has experience with MS Dot Net."

What do you like best?

This website solution makes it so much easier for a Site Merchandiser to have a ton of control on their own over site content (without having to go to Web Dev for every little thing).

What do you dislike?

I often feel like tasks are much more difficult than need be. Sometimes even just moving around the software is not the easiest. I think our Web Dev team has something to do with that, however, since they added code to control some things like site look and feel.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't let your partner make too many choices for you without consulting you for your opinion. Our partner ended up having to be let go since they made so many choices for us without asking us what we thought. It was infuriating to have to go back and "fix" things that we should have never had to do.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Epi is in the process of replacing our MS Dot Net home-grown sites. It is supposed to make it much quicker and easier to spin up new sites for our new brands we are adding.

"Flexible and reliable"

What do you like best?

What I love about the platform is that it does not reinvent the wheel - as a developer, you are free to leverage any of the newest and coolest frameworks and packages without much hassle. Yet, you have a support of a reliable system underneath.

What do you dislike?

Some out-of-the-box features for Intranets are missing. The development of social features is already in progress, but IMO this is something to focus more on in order to keep the leadership as the best .NET CMS platform.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I'd always recommend the platform for large or mid-sized business, who need the software to serve their business needs and company brand.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I work at Mogul as a consultant and what I love about Epi is never having to say to our clients: we can't do that. The logical implementation of Epi gives a consultant an opportunity to create great editorial experience that eventually leads to having usable applications for end users.

"The only great .NET CMS"

What do you like best?

It stays out of your way where you need it to, as templates are mainly the developing partner's responsibility, and leans heavily on ASP.NET and .NET best practices so it's very easy to be productive right from the start.

We always get good feedback from the end client's editors on the editing experience. This is something the developing partner has a lot of power in setting up though so all Episerver projects might not live up to this.

New versions are released often (every two weeks) and include both new features and bug fixes.

Can be hosted as an Azure Web Site and scale over multiple instances which is great.

What do you dislike?

License has a price tag.

Cloud license options when you want to host on your own Azure subscription are inflexible.

Core product is great but certain add-ons and 3rd party modules are quite often troublesome, degrade performance and block product upgrades.

Client side performance inside Edit Mode could be optimized further.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We run our public web site and our own intranet on Episerver with great success. Our clients use it and in competition with any platform have won awards such as "Best Swedish Intranet" and "Best Corporate website, Nordic companies with global presence".

"EPiServer CMS Review"

What do you like best?

The ability to launch, manage and organize content for multiple global websites.

What do you dislike?

This CMS absolutely requires an in-house .NET resource. Deploying aesthetic changes and creating new pages types is impossible without an employee that fully understands the .NET framework. Our company hired an agency to build our website using EPiServer. Now, whenever we want to deploy any "no-brainer" changes to the site layout oor create a new block/page template, we have to hire the agency to execute these changes...cah-ching! This issue has handcuffed our digital marketing efforts.

If your company does not have an internal .NET expert, do not purchase EPiServer.

Also, the EPiServer add-on store has a very small amount of content.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our task was to redesign and launch 15 global websites. Each website needed a manager, respective to their location. Global management was a catastrophe, but I blame our design agency for cutting corners -- not EPiServer.

Overall, EPiServer has made managing our website and SEO simpler than our previous CMS.

"Waukesha County Review"

What do you like best?

The overall flexibility of the product and the support for it are wonderful.

What do you dislike?

Because it is so flexible, there are are fewer out of box blocks to use. You need to construct everything, even common use items at times.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think it is more than a CMS. I describe it as a platform/framework for building a web presence. Thus, you can take it in any direction you need to.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use the product as a communications tool between our government services and the constituents. It allows us to easily pass information along.

"Have worked with episerver for more then 6 year as devloper"

What do you like best?

One of the coolest content management tool ever build.

The best thing about it is it's extensible and its simplicity which matters most for content editors.

What do you dislike?

What i personally dont link is the Episerver marketing team has actually failed to get grab the attention of potential customer and like minded developers across the geography.

Episerver it still termed as very much Nordic product

Its heart breaking to see great Episerver sites migrating to AEM and site core just because of their Marketing expertise.

Recommendations to others considering the product

.Episerver developer course and certification should be more assecssablie to developer all over the world. At present it is focused only in few countries like Sweden,Aus,Norway. However given the wide spread offshoring practice taken into account ,Episerver has practically no presence in countries like India,China, Brazil and Mexico where major chunk of EPiserver work is done.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using Episerver for Business to customer site.

It is build using episerver features like personalization, multilinguality etc.

its a brand site of its really a content heavy site and on the top of it we have done few customization to meet business requirement

"Most usable CMS ever!"

What do you like best?

Episerver focuses on good user experience both for end users / customers AND for the business folks who have to use the product on the other side of the screen to create and manage those end experiences. Their admin features are rich, broad and highly usable which is unusual for a CMS.

What do you dislike?

It's not cheap. The license may be more than the implementation, but considering the reduced development and support costs of empowering business users it ends up paying for itself in total cost of ownership.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Schedule a demo and ask them to focus on something that's frustrating in your current content management workflow 'cause it's very likely that it would be less frustrating with Episerver.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's much easier for non-developers to manage content without the risk and instability of a free / cheap / open-source CMS.

"Powerful, Flexible, Modern CMS"

What do you like best?

Built on ASP.NET MVC Architecture, supports modern standards, and is extremely flexible for developing a custom website solution. Editor interface is easy to use and intuitive.

What do you dislike?

Not an "out-of-the-box" solution for web CMS, though you could purchase such a solution from a developer partner and be quite pleased.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are migrating from Ektron CMS to EPiServer and are re-building our web presence from the ground up. EPiServer is allowing us to quickly begin building our new system while supporting our existing content and at the same time giving us a vast new platform for expanding and improving our site's architecture, speed, and usability.

"Lessons Learned "

What do you like best?

Delay publish feature

Immediate updates to live sites

Mega menu brings end-users closer to content in fewer clicks.

Refresh Report function

Various page and content types

Automatic archiving feature

What do you dislike?

We are on an older version and use an older editor. We have problems with changes not saving, functions like spell-checker and page-moves not working as designed. It would probably be better for me to complete this survey after we upgrade this year.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have full-time dedicated Developers. Use separate "Projects" or "Platforms" if multiple areas are using the product to allow for separate reporting and easier system enhancements.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We no longer have to manually hold pages for release at certain times.

We can automatically archive news items at the time we write them.

"Website "

What do you like best?

It is very easy to navigate. Once I got the hang of it, it was incredibly simple to use. It is so much easier than the last software we were using.

What do you dislike?

I'm not sure if it's the software or my web connection, but if I don't use it for a minute or so it automatically logs me off. Not really a deal breaker, but kind of annoying. There is also no spellcheck in some of the blocks, like the accordion block.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This product is very useful for backend web editing, I am a big fan!

"Poor"

What do you like best?

The only real feature I enjoy on Episerver is the ability to schedule elements.

What do you dislike?

Everything else about Episerver. Features are created to make things easier for users, but it seems as if they've been created in a rush. It's mobile responsive site is by no means a finished article and requires constant attention to ensure everything is in place. Content creation is extremely poor. Why does my text overlay my headings? Why does my content cut off half way? Why is there no easy way to create a table of data?

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't.

Find something else

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Content management. The benefits include: Episerver gives us a CMS platform for easy content management. Not extremely well but the tools are there.

Episerver also has a number of great features which could make this system extremely powerful, but it is not a finished product and certainly not the future of content management.

"Recommending Episerver as web dev platform"

What do you like best?

This is really comprehensive and flexible web development platform. I have been working with Episerver CMS from 2008. I really appreciate the documentation coverage, stability of the system, overall support and especially large and agile community on world.episerver.com.

"EPiServer range of products"

What do you like best?

As the first EPiServer partner in the UK some 10 years ago now, we have been providing EPiServer based solutions across our client base and have found the range of products and add-on's superb.

We have implemented the CMS, Ecommerce and Relate+ packages many times and have integrated these with other products on many occassions. The product range and API has been straight forward to work with and we have never been in the position where we could not do what we wanted to do with the EPiServer range of products.

What do you dislike?

The documentation is not as good as we would like it to be and although we do manage to get questions answered from EPiServer, they are not always the most speedy and most forthcoming.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are looking for a 'tool based' series of web products, and do not want turnkey solutions, but are willing to sponsor an associated product, then you would have to pay considerably more for anything better than the EPiServer range of products.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As a web oriented software house we look at brochure web sites, transactional websites, ecommerce implementations and social network projects, as well as applications.

"A middle-tier CMS moving towards being a multi channel platform"

What do you like best?

It's an enterprise level CMS system, that is simple to use. Quite feature rich and customisable, with all you need latest tools and tactics like mobile device templates, personalisation etc (in the latest version) - they have bought various tools and integrated them (this is a little bit of a prob if you bought the product before (composer module as a reference here) it was integrated and then try to upgrade..) that make the latest version a formidable multi channel product.

What do you dislike?

A bit buggy however EpiServer have declared they will be doing a bit more agile development rollouts instead of mass deployments so hopefully user experience will improve. Can be slow to load and publish. Has modules to purchase or for free but all require development (at cost). Where there are other WCMS out there that have incorporated features into their main offering. It's also an investment (£££) for the long haul.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Integration with our CRM system is doable, personalisation and better customer experience off the back of this.

"Solid, Flexible, CMS"

What do you like best?

Episerver is a solid, well-built product. It requires almost no maintenance and has been running for us for years without incident.

What do you dislike?

The eSync portion keeps staging and production in sync and provides version control. To the extent that we've learned to use eSync, it is somewhat limited. It also seems to be lacking in its ability to revert, particularly to retrieve deleted content.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"EPiServer CMS 7.5"

What do you like best?

The development experience is excellent and well supported by both EPiServer Page Model and the integration with Visual Studio, additional with EPiServer 7.5 you have MVC with brings additional flexibility and an testability. Also new features like the improved editor experience, the new Content Blocks and media asset management feature EPiServer CMS is powerful and rich. Internalisation and personalisation is another strong suit for EPiServer as well as EPiServer Find with is a truly advance search solution. Other nice features are the EPiServer add on store where you can find pluging for Google Analytics, Silverpop for marketing automation as well as translation and collaboration tools. Finally you also have access to a range of other EPiServer products that integrate well From Relate to Commerce.

What do you dislike?

Workflows are notorious and adequate but full implemented, covering only pages and missing all other content type especially blocks. Additionally the editor experience is still requires improvement and the continuous feature releases makes certain deployment situations, I've encountered, hard to manage. Finally continuous deployment, impractically full tear-down and rebuild, isn't full functional.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Always work out you requirements first and check they match as EPiServer have a few holes that can be filled only with hard work; especially Workflows.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've implemented Content Management Systems for a wide variety of clients from DeBeers, Mazda to National Rail Smith and Nephew, Kenwood and LeCruset, as well internal social media platforms with Relate and Commerce implementations.

"Great Platform, Easy to use, Integrates well"

What do you like best?

EPiServer is incredibly feature rich and intuitive. The ability to customize templates and leverage personalization allows companies to provide a personal experience for each type of visitor. While it appears that several other CMS also offer the same features, its price point is slightly lower than some of the more well known system. The platform is built on an open API which makes it easy to integrate with existing systems.

What do you dislike?

There is not much traction here is the U.S so when comparing it to some of the other well known systems, its touch to differentiate it's capabilities vs the competition. The Ecommerce platform isn't truly integrated with the CMS although they claim it is. The pricing for ecommerce doesn't work for those ONLY needing an ecommerce site because you also have to pay for the CMS.

Recommendations to others considering the product

if you plan to use this system, make sure a long term goal and road map has been established. If you change directions, the templates will have to be rebuilt which can be time consuming and expensive. The "template builder" is not very robust so the agency you work with will need to create enough templates for the non tech admin to self mange the site after deployment.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For customers that need to integrate with other systems this platform is much better than some of the other mid-level CMS. However, it positions itself as an enterprise CMS. Since the company is global (HQ'd in Europe) the multilingual features are easy to implement out of the box.

"The latest in MVC functionality, all the support of a Microsoft-backed solution"

What do you like best?

Multiple channel publishing capabilities right from the start, built into the whole system, very easy to preview on different devices and to customise as required.

What do you dislike?

Some features seemingly not finished before deploying (eg blocks not fully supported in workflows) - leading to lack of perceived ability amongst editor population.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do a review of other CMS products, but even amongst SiteCore, Teamsite and others, EPiServer probably still stands as one of the best tools to use. It is best however for larger scale websites, smaller ones probably want to look at other tools that offer a quicker startup (even things like Wordpress).

EPiServer allows flexible customization without going through a bunch of hoops outside its platform ecosystem. Your developers will love the platform which makes building specific features to your business (while still leveraging many of its out-of-the-box functionality) very easily.

What do you dislike?

On EPIserver 5, when deploying EPIserver to 2 separate environment (content authoring and content publishing), there were no robust story to handle content deployment. There was a content synchronization mechanism which at that point in time were buggy. The only work around was to semi-manually export the content which took a very long time. The solution for us was to roll out something custom to handle this capability.

The other issue that we had was the fact that the local "first party" representation in some geography is minimal. Agencies tend to be the first point of contact (which is good in some cases), but when first party account support is required, at that point in time the individual has to be flown in from Europe.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If your internal IT team is on the Microsoft platform. EPIserver is a strong contender. However during your decision making process, the other CMS that you want to also consider is SiteCore. The only 2 drawbacks that we encounter were the limited local presence is our client's location and limited support for pushing content between environments.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use EPiServer to build a corporate website presence. The flexibility of the platform

allows us to build more features on top. The development team appreciates that the platform do not shy away from being a technology solution - making customization & deployment easy.

"A powerful platform for content-driven eCommerce solutions"

What do you like best?

EPiServer's seamless integration of the product catalogue with CMS, coupled with it's Visitor Group functionality allows for a huge amount of customisability and context-driven content with a very simple drag & drop interface.

The Add-On store allows for 3rd party developments and tools with a well-maintained curation to prevent loads of the same add-on, or add-ons which aren't supported correctly by their developers.

It is possible to get an EPiServer site launched in a relatively small timescale. CMS-only projects can be completed in a matter of days, and simple commerce sites can be created in short order by a team who understands the framework and it's nuances.

The platform is mobile-first, meaning sites are responsive and may be created to offer mobile, tablet and kiosk versions with minimal overhead.

What do you dislike?

EPiServer as a platform and a company are not yet well-renowned, but the pricing structure can often put projects in with the Gartner Magic Quadrant solutions. The can make justification for capital spend difficult - especially with businesses who hole Forrester and Gartner's opinion in high regard (though the platform will often justify the costs, in my opinion).

EPiServer's philosophy of content-first commerce can often run counter to the current ways of working for a retailer. every EPiServer project comes with an element of business transformation to ensure the best results are acheived through the tool - though these transformations are highly rewarding in the long-term.

Recommendations to others considering the product

EPiServer works best when businesses are geared up to use the tools in their most effective way. The platform is highly flexible and supports many ways of working and highly complex organisational structures. The trick is balancing current processes with the innovations and efficiencies EPiServer offers - try to force everything "your old website" used to do onto the EPiServer platform and you will likely struggle to see the best it can offer.

Ultimately, working with a partner who has an intimate understanding of the platform and how it is most effectively applied can make a huge difference to the success of any EPiServer project.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

EPiServer is best implemented as a platform to provide for future growth online. We often find that businesses are looking to move from older platforms, or bespoke platforms which have become too complex to maintain and develop further.

The platform has allowed a number of our customers to reduce the overhead associated with creating and maintaining their web presence - especially in environments where multiple sites or multiple markets are being managed at the same time.

"Decent CMS for an E-commerce system"

What do you like best?

It's a good framework that allows you to do whatever you want (though see Dislikes) - the API system is excellent and easy to work with. One of the few Windows based CMS systems.

What do you dislike?

Overly complicated and requires a developer to make real changes. Even support team has issues understanding how things work.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed an ecommerce system that could be highly customized and Episerver fit the bill.

"Epoiserver CMS <3"

What do you like best?

I like the easiness of the programming model, i like the community support and extendability and pluggability

What do you dislike?

I do not like commerce as a product. Lacks features, and is buggy.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Ditch those open source piles of shit and switch to real professional product, with excellent language support, modifiability and versioning.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am profiling and personalizing content for targeted audience: my users will need fast access to only the relevant content with a single pageload. Furthermore they need to be able to reach out to other users, provide feedback and socialize with their peers.

"Webmaster/Marketo Admin"

What do you like best?

Page version control is very easy to manage. The version we are running (6.1) also has a great 301 redirect handler which is a valuable tool when dealing with a website in 7 languages with content coming and going all the time.

What do you dislike?

In order to add a new feature such as a blog, you need to be able to develop in .NET, knows C# and can work with tools like Visual Studio or MY SQL Studio.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recently attended an EPiServer user conference where they were showing off version 7. It would appear that EPiServer has made a pivot to eCommerce and a wonderful feature set if your running an eCommerce site.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to maintain a global web presence in multiple languages, and have a website that is responsive to mobile devices.

"Significant upgrade at a very reasonable cost"

What do you like best?

Setup was very easy, and the learning curve was minimal. The tool gave our team a great deal of flexibility out of the box for our new site. It was really a great platform to launch our new site on.

What do you dislike?

Really nothing significant, all in all it was a great product.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Complete overhaul of our B2B site; the foundation for our digital transformation, including web personalization, potential ecommerce, and enhanced user tracking

"A user friendly CMS"

What do you like best?

It's easy to use for editors and can be customized pretty easily (but it could be easier!)

What do you dislike?

Can be a bit complex, takes a while to get a site up and running. The documentation is not always the best, sometimes outdated, links not working and sometimes not loading at all.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Good CMS, userfriendly and fun to develop against!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The customer has a big and complex solution. But episerver has all the products to solve this (including addons) e g commerce and find.

"The user friendly CMS "

What do you like best?

The intuitive user experience the makes it easy to focus on the content is EPiServers strongest feature. Most CMS solutions can be used to create and maintain websites, but the difference is all in how they do it. Publishing platforms are marketing tools for most companies, and as such it should be possible to do complex updates without tech support. Other wise you loose the agility and speed in the marketing process. EPiServer really shines when it comes to delivering a tool for the marketers, and not for IT savvy people.

What do you dislike?

Dislike is a strong word, but the its fairly limited when it comes to integration with other systems and sources. The integration with its commerce solution still needs some work and its obvious that it glued together and not really integrated yet.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are planning to use it as a CMS and a tool form marketing by marketers, go for it! If you want to create more complex sites with a lot of integration and commerce, then you should probably consider looking at other solutions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are managing a multi lingual corporate website for a software company. We increased traffic and most other important KPIs as well as gained control over the publishing process. Our prior solution was an open source CMS and the users often needed support from our IT staff to manage simple tasks like updating the navigation hierarchy etc. The site is now managed by our marketing staff and they can do all updates without support from IT or consultants. The users really like working in EPiServer and I think that is very important that creative people can enjoy their tools in order to stay creative.

"Episerver - .net CMS for mid sized & large companies"

What do you like best?

Its .net based, so good for those companies with a developer/IT infrastructure based on microsoft products. Its scalable and configurable to take into account having a lot of users & websites. Episerver also ties into its own marketing products well, as well as external products. Easy to pick up for editors.

What do you dislike?

Not the most flexible when it comes to dynamic content - sitecore manages that better.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you get an agency experienced with it - or find an episerver EMVP developer/contractor (the best developers in the episerver area)

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Managing editors in different countries - user management helped solve this

Multiple country websites - Episerver editor easily helps manage this

"Poor user interface"

What do you like best?

There is really nothing that I like about this product

What do you dislike?

The user interface is awkward at best. The editor "cleans" the html changing the original design.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Giving the marketing department access to edit and create pages without the need for IT involvement, but it seems every project needs a dedicated IT employee of contractor because of the difficulty with the application.

What do you like best?

Good and expanding set of features and add ins.

Newer platforms giving a lot "out of the box"

What do you dislike?

Specialism required to develop and maintain sites.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Delivering fast turn aroudn on design changes and content. New blocks and other plug ins helping us to add flexibility and move more maintenance out to the content managers.

"Excelent product"

What do you like best?

I am a consultant and like episervers .net adoption. It is easy to code in C# with this platform.

What do you dislike?

The edit GUI changed from cms 6 -> 7, to the worse I think. It is not so easy and fast to edit pages.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have worked on many Intranet projects/over long periode of time. The sites I have been working on have solved information needs for the customer.

"I used Episerver for over 5 years and came to really like the product."

What do you like best?

It was fairly easy to use. The editor part of the product was very intuitive for most users. The administration was also pretty straight forward.

What do you dislike?

I wish that the product had more built in tools for the user. Everything that was outside of the straight forward editing needed to be a custom and had to be built by the developer.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed to have a website for the company and we used Episode to built multiple sites.
