eTurns fulfilled a need that few others can do.

What do you like best?

First off eTurns works. A simple app with a lot of capability. Second, the team is wonderful to work with. Responsive and able. Any issues, needs, or questions were quickly dealt with.

What do you dislike?

eTurns has a lot of features. We only used a portion. The rest added burden that is in the way, but we got used to it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take the demos serious, ask the "what-if" questions. Picture your people using it and have users trial it. Like any software, you must take the time to fully understand how it will work and help.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a tool to capture and transmit pulls form a consigned inventory. Had to be quick and EASY for our customer, eTurns is. Also need that information transmitted automatically into our P21 system as an order.

eTurns has managed our customers' stockroom inventory successfully for 10 years

What do you like best?

Gexpro Services, a world-class distributor, is all about service. Our business model is to provide onsite VMI to our customers. eTurns provides us visibility into our customers' inventories and automates replenishment which reduces our cost-of-sales to a minimum. Because eTurns helps us optimize our customers' inventories and deliver great service levels, our customers reap the benefits of this value-added service. We have used all 4 of their tracking technologies -- iPhone, eVMI sensors, RFID, and scanners and they've all worked well for getting us real-time inventory status and managing that inventory. Their support is definitely a strong point - the team over there is VERY responsive.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, there is not a lot I can list here... other than it would be nice if they wouldn't sell eTurns to our direct competitors.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Over the past 10 years we have periodically taken a look to see if there were better remote storeroom inventory management solutions than what eTurns provides and each time we came up empty. ERP providers are too expensive and cumbersome and other inexpensive cloud software for inventory management was not as full-featured as eTurns.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With eTurns' new RFID solution, we will be able to have the customer pass their empty bins pass the RFID reader to order more material. This RFID solution provides our customers with a value-added service that automatically sends us orders for more material - it makes our customers more "sticky" to us as their distributor.

eTurns allows us to manage our consigned inventories

What do you like best?

Anixter is a distributor of advanced cabling and we've used eTurns/3 remote stockroom inventory software for many many years to help us manage the consigned inventories at our customer accounts. eTurns provides us with a solution that allows us to invoice on consumption, replenish as necessary and use one set of books to reconcile inventory. We are excited to move to eTurns/4 which is a browser-based solution with 5x the functionality, including analytics and other features our customers have been asking for like scheduled email reports and alerts

What do you dislike?

We wish they couldn't sell it to our competitors because it ends up being a good differentiator for us in sales engagements. That to go along with the support, we would like a bigger time range

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

If the customer didn't have eTurns we could not control the consigned inventory at the customer's location. eTurns provides a very smooth way to track exactly what the customer used and needs to pay for. Without it, we would have a lot more confusion and negotiations with customers

Integrated us with EDI transmission in a few weeks, end-customer training took 5 min

What do you like best?

What my customer likes best is that eTurns only requires one scan to order.

What do you dislike?

Not much to dislike about eTurns making my customer happy.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our airline customer is constantly reordering product from us and wanted a barcode scanning solution that let them reorder parts FAST. The customer was very happy that eTurns reduced to ONE step when other systems required three scans. And eTurns only took 2 weeks to integrate to our system. Training on eTurns only took 5 minutes and it has been running flawlessly ever since.

eTurns is terrific at managing our consigned inventories

What do you like best?

TTI is an electronic components distributor and we've used eTurns/3 remote storeroom inventory software for several years. We use it to help us manage the consigned inventories at our customer accounts. eTurns allows us to invoice on consumption, replenish as necessary and use one set of books to reconcile inventory.

What do you dislike?

While eTurns/3 offers diverse functionality it is client based software versus browser based. The new eTurns/4 platform is browser based and offers users the same diversity of scanning options as well as additional functionality.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

eTurns helps maintain control of consigned inventory. eTurns provides a very smooth way to track exactly what the customer used and needs to pay for. Without it, we would have a lot more confusion and negotiations with customers.

What do you like best?

eTurns is a very efficient and flexible process for our customer VMI/CMI programs. The full implementation from initial item setup is great for our customers.

What do you dislike?

Not too many areas that I am in 'dislike' . . The presentation of the eTurns solutions to our customers requires further and ongoing sales training which could be enhanced.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The eTurns resource is very good overall. We have found the difficulty more on our side in terms of sales features & benefits training.

Providing customers a VMI/CMI solution over a wide geographic region with a real-time solution. Once the eTurns system is implemented many headaches are removed for ourselves and customers.
