What do you like best?
Gexpro Services, a world-class distributor, is all about service. Our business model is to provide onsite VMI to our customers. eTurns provides us visibility into our customers' inventories and automates replenishment which reduces our cost-of-sales to a minimum. Because eTurns helps us optimize our customers' inventories and deliver great service levels, our customers reap the benefits of this value-added service. We have used all 4 of their tracking technologies -- iPhone, eVMI sensors, RFID, and scanners and they've all worked well for getting us real-time inventory status and managing that inventory. Their support is definitely a strong point - the team over there is VERY responsive.
What do you dislike?
Honestly, there is not a lot I can list here... other than it would be nice if they wouldn't sell eTurns to our direct competitors.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Over the past 10 years we have periodically taken a look to see if there were better remote storeroom inventory management solutions than what eTurns provides and each time we came up empty. ERP providers are too expensive and cumbersome and other inexpensive cloud software for inventory management was not as full-featured as eTurns.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
With eTurns' new RFID solution, we will be able to have the customer pass their empty bins pass the RFID reader to order more material. This RFID solution provides our customers with a value-added service that automatically sends us orders for more material - it makes our customers more "sticky" to us as their distributor.
