What do you like best?
I like how easy it is to use Expensify! You simply upload your receipt, and they automatically scan most of the details. Sometimes it's not 100% accurate, but it's faster to correct them than filing everything in. Also, the fact that everything is stored online, my manager receives and approves my report, makes it so much easier than the old-fashioned way.
The communication of the platform is excellent and it will even remind you when you need to finalize some expenses.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes, I wish I could add some extra fields to it myself to explain a bit more on the expenses that I made. I now send a separate email with more background info to my manager if necessary.
Also, sometimes I feel that I receive a lot of emails from expensify. I would like to only receive the big updates by email and rest on the site itself... or at least to have that option.
Recommendations to others considering the product
I would recommend every company (big or small) to use it. Doing expenses the old-fashioned way is just really a pain; you can loose your receipts, it's much work, you need to print out stuff. This solution is environmental friendly, has everything in the cloud, clear communication and works super fast!
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It solved a lot of the backoffice within our company. Especially, I believe its a life savor for my manager to approve reports within minutes instead of hours and have everything automized. We're not using it for travel, etc thus far; maybe in the future.
