Favro is honestly both the best and simplest task and planning system I've used

What do you like best?

That you can edit data in any kind of view, whether from backlog, boards, roadmap, calendar. And that Favro autogenerates much of that stuff. Saves me so much time.

What do you dislike?

Hmm. Nothing much. Maybe that you can't just buy it on a per user basis.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Great for ongoing task management and planning.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Favro for marketing idea prioritization, backlog and task planning, roadmap and as content calendar and editorial process. Basically Favro replaced Trello to give us all the stuff that Trello doesn't. Without me doing anything, we automatically get a roadmap for our entire marketing as well as a sharable content calendar. Also, the tag system works well for task and idea prioritization, because it allows you to get a great overview.

Intuitive Design and Cross-Collaboration Options Help Manage Products

What do you like best?

The feature I like best about Favro is the ability to integrate Google Drive files right into the platform. Instead of a sharing a document, sheet, etc. through Drive (and risking it getting list in a colleague's inbox), I can share through Favro inside our own organized tasks and boards. That way, everything is sorted in one place and easy to access.

What do you dislike?

When onboarding new employees onto Favro (or those unfamiliar with the platform), it can be a little difficult to train and get them used to. While anyone can start creating tasks and organizing their platform in seconds, there is a bit of a steep learning curve when it comes to really understanding how to fully utilize the platform. However, to address this, Favro offers a number of video tutorials and great customer support.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take the time to learn the platform and understand how it can help your organization before just jumping right in. There are a lot of features many users don't know about, such as lanes, estimations and cycle times.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Favro is helping break down some of the barriers in our organization. When everyone across teams uses Favro, it's a lot easier to streamline the review process during a large-scale project. Instead of constantly adapting to different teams' communication preferences and programs, there is now a unified way to manage projects across all areas of the organization.

Good for light task and project management

What do you like best?

That you can create a workflow and be as detailed as you wish, creating checklists, setting start and end dates, assigning responsible members in one card. It's like Trello or Asana on steroids.

Every card can be a small part of a project or a small project itself. You create standard phases and move cards through all of them, until completion.

You can share your dashboard with your team and with clients and everyone can interact. You can even block certain interactions. Like blocking a client to move a card to finished, or blocking a junior partner from advancing a card from Ready for Approval to Approved-Finished.

Favro lets you track time spent on particular projects if you bill your hours. Then, you can go find all the time spent by each member.

What do you dislike?

I would like to see a graphic timeframe (like a Gantt graph). I would like to have more precise time tracking capabilities. If you have too many projects going on at the same time, it can become messy.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Look into the integrations. It's a good tool for small to medium-size time-bound projects. Not good for complex or where extreme granularity is needed.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Project and taks management.

Favro Great for Near-Term Planning

What do you like best?

Favro has an easy to use, attractive interface. There is tight integration between "Backlogs" and "Boards", with an emphasis on "Sprint" Style Planning.

What do you dislike?

Favro is not useful for mid- to long-term planning. Use this tool if you want to place an emphasis on "tasks" and "task completion".

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use this if you don't have the time or resources to commit to setting up and preparing a detailed mid- to long-term project plan.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Favro for aggressive tracking and planning of work in 2-week sprints.

Really helpful planning and management platform

What do you like best?

Very friendly interface. All cards have many features and integrations like with Jira. Moving cards between sprints is very easy and cards can be linked to each other.

What do you dislike?

Prices are little steep. It used to be free, but now its getting expensive. Also, the technical support is not really great for the asking price.I once had a technical question and the technical help, instead of giving me a personalized answer, was directing me towards some links which were not helpful

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it everyday to plan and collaborate among teams. We plan our weekly tasks using favro which enables us to foresee any obstacles along the way and also backtrack issues
