Best amongst its competitors.

What do you like best?

I like the customer service team behind this solution. Trying to create our first creative ad. was tedious with new challenges :however the customer care team were always on hand to guide us all the way.

What do you dislike?

Pricing was sometimes simply unrealistic :making us feel we could get a better deal with close substitutes albeit at a slightly reduced quality.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Could be a good investment for your startup depending on what direction you are headed. Requesting for a demo may help you decide if you need it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Flashtalking allowed us reach potential customers with high quality, media rich measurable content :which was effective. Thereby leading to increased user to customer conversion :majorly cause of the quality of the media ads.

Robust Dynamic Creative Ad-Serving platform

What do you like best?

Working with Flashtalking they were always extremely helpful and quick to respond to requests. The platform can be used for many different DSP vendors, some of which only use Flashtalking for dynamic creative template creation and ad-serving. Can do animated creative as well as make the ads as custom as you like.

What do you dislike?

Tracking all the different creative versions with third party tracking such as DCM is not really possible without complexity. Perhaps there is a solution I am not aware of? Their pixel didn’t really work on our brand site either.

Consider how you plan to implement/track creative performance if using a third party ad server.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Savings on production of many creative versions and sizes coded in HTML5 as well as the ability in real time to serve audience specific creative. Allows quick turn around on copy changes yourself without having to go through a creative agency and fees.

Flashtalking is a true partner

What do you like best?

The flexibility of the platform and the limitless possibilities when it comes to decision tree logic

What do you dislike?

A great platform and an even better partner comes with a cost, sometimes to the detriment of the campaign

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do your homework. Flashtalking is a premium offering and if you soley look at Flashtalking, the features won't really stand out and you'll be focused on price. It's a premium tool and it is priced accordingly. But if you see how much better the platform looks than it's competitors, you'll see the cost is negated by the additional features. It's heads above PaperG (now Thunder) and RevJet.

We were dynamically serving based on last product viewed, category purchased, etc. Flashtalking allowed us to increase conversion rates through increased relevance

dynamic creative

What do you like best?

Flash talking is one of the best dynamic partners out there. I like that they work with media agency teams, creative agency teams, any publishers an ad might run on as well as clients direct, their ability to make creative relevant by pullin in data across multiple different sects allows media to be relevant and efficient.

What do you dislike?

it takes a long time to build out creative and to make sure everything is functioning. It is also and expensive cost per thousand impressions compared to competitors. you need to be very direct with the data to ensure everything matches and they do not provide their own data to based creative and decisioning off of.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As more and more companies roll out their dynamic solutions, flashtalking needs to become more automated and efficient to stay on top of these trends.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

i am solving the ability to target relevant ads to relevant consumers and making my media buy a more efficient one. the cost pays for itself, but not totally convinced the client has realized earnings as a result of it.

Best in the biz

What do you like best?

Compared to DFP the options for testing are much better. As is the ease of attaching creative.

What do you dislike?

There is a rather long delay for tags to populate

Best around! With some of the most incredible customor support if ever seen. Espcially compared to Sizmek. Creatives are very simple to move and rearrgang. The company is always taking feedback and do what they can to change things.

What do you like best?

I enjoy how easy it is to use and navigate when trafficking tags

What do you dislike?

I don't like how you're unable to delete spotlight groups. If you accidentally create a duplicate, it can become confusing.

Brief your entire dept on the process of using it, it will give team members an understanding of the time it takes and help gauge estimated deadlines.

We are using FT to help track impressions, clicks, etc from various vendors we use
