FullContact provides a very simple to use API to fetch details about contacts you may have limited data about. We receive leads often with only an email address and/or a phone number, but using this data and FullContact's API we can get a better picture of the lead in most cases before we ever reach out to them.
I wish there was some more flexibility in the pricing models that are offered. We have some months where we have thousands of requests and some months with very few (real estate follows seasons, and sometimes agents are more or less active, both in business and on the website specifically) and it would be nice if there was another lower tier that could be used, or a pay as you go style plan.
This API is the best and most cost-effective I've seen when you want to gain insights into users based on basic data points such as phone number and email address, and the API is very simple to integrate.
We use FullContact to attempt to fetch details and social links about prospective leads in our Real Estate CRM software system. Using this data we can know a lot more about a lead before reaching out, such as if they are married, where they currently live, their interests, whether they have a family and so on.
The ease-of-use of the program. The program functions correctly on all types of devices, there are no bugs. When you have a mobile application it should function as it is supposed to, this may be very logical but is often forgotten. The set-up is really easy.
The great thing is that, when you scan, there is no waiting time, the scanning is done in the background.
There is no more true off-the-shelve integration with Salesforce. Even though there is an integration through Zapier, I still think a true integration is required. Even though the transcription is human aided, you still see errors. This is a pity, the transcription do not seem to learn-by-doing. The transcription capabilities of non-US addresses are not as correct as US transcriptions. In an international context, it is vital that all types of transcriptions are supported.
Also, Chinese, Japanese and Russian characters are not supported, especially for our Russian representatives, this is a big loss.
FullContact is a great application when you consider the teamaspect.
We mainly use FullContact for automated lead capturing at exhitions. In the past we noted down all information via manual contact forms on paper. These forms where sent to the internal service. There, somebody transcribed them manually. Now, we use FullContact to scan in the business cards at the fair, they are sent to Salesforce and linked to a campaign. In due time this campaign will appear automatically in Marketo and send the follow-up mail instantly.
FullContact syncs my contact lists, tags/labels, and can automatically get new info from signature blocks. There's support for adding LinkedIn or Twitter contacts. If you happen to create two records, the system's merge utility is a click away.
The price is only $10/month for a single user. Anyone can benefit from that level of contact management at such a low price.
I would LOVE the ability to tag contact records with a followup date. Most people don't need a CRM's power. I sure don't. But this would be like a CRM if those dates could be added.
There are a lot of features such as address card entry, MailChimp integration, and what seems to be a robust API. I don't need that stuff, but it's nice to know it's there.
The ability to have one contact list across ACCOUNTS and DEVICES is something that I've dealt with for more than 20 years. When the device issue was solved, the account issue was a problem. When the account was solved, there was a device issue.
The one thing I rely on most for FullContact is to keep track of over one-thousand contacts. The mobile app allows me to within minutes upload a business card. Then I can add notes or other reminders so I can recall bits of a conversation with other professionals.
The one thing I do not like about FullContact is it's slow reaction in eliminating duplicates in my contacts. I understand when you upload cards via the app it takes a few days to update. However I still find multiple entries for one person.
FullContact is an efficient software to maintain many contacts. Better than LinkedIn and Facebook.
My job requires me to work in the office, off-site, and across the state. Therefore I meet and collect numerous business cards. This software allows me to organize and function perfectly when looking for a business contact.
I love how that Full Contact API integrated so easily with our CRM (Freshsales). It really help us in creating an efficent sales development process.
I don't think there is anything I dislike about the API integrations itself. However, in using the account via the dashboard we hit limitations under our paid account, which is why we have to implement/use the API instead.
If you haven't tried it out and you're looking for ways to improve your prospecting and touch recipes, and you have a developer who can integrate the FullContact API with your CRM, you can go wrong. It very useful!
We're able to find direct contact details for sales prospects more easily and quickly, enabling us to scale our new client onboarding efforts, which will essential increase our ROI.
The data that is provided is consistently high quality, and we've only had around 5 cases out of around 10k lookups that have provided incorrect data.
The pricing certainly seems steep for what the FullContact APIs offer. If a competitor came along at a lower rate, we'd certainly look at switching.
FullContact is fairly expensive for what it does, but it most definitely provides quality and dependable results for the queries that they offer. Their person API is especially impressive, and it seems to us to consistently generate correct information off of nothing but an email address. We've been able to get names, images, and links to social network profiles regularly.
We've been able to learn much more about potential customers using FullContact's APIs. They've allowed us to help better target and segment leads for both us and our customers. We can provide our customers much more value from email only leads.
We run thousands of ads for customers each month, and generate both name & email leads, as well as full contact information leads (name, phone number, address, email, etc). FullContact has helped us find more information for all of these name and email leads, as they've been able to pull lots of information for as that we can then pass to our customers via their CRM accounts.
I like best the match rate of Fullcontact's API. We use the Person API and have implemented it in different ways. The high matching rate has impressed us and improved our product's user experience.
I do not like the administrative backend of the software. For example the invoices section can be a bit more user-friendly. But this is not really something important.
The Person API helps us to help our users personalize their Userlike accounts faster. Also, we use it in the chat software itself and have reached a more personalized chat experience for our customers.
FullContact's API is easy to integrate, it's an affordable solution, and the their team is top notch. I can't say enough about how great of a company they are to work with.
Would like to have more demographic data available, rather than just social, but they are working on adding that. Their Company API is a great resource, as well, particularly if you do account-based CRM and marketing.
We integrate Full Contact into our CRM platform free of charge, and our clients love it. With GreenRope, we append FullContact data to every contact who fills out a form, which allows our clients to ask for just an email address and still gather deep insight into the contact. This data can then trigger automation.
They have data fields we desired that weren't available with competitors.
Couldn't use to to screen our international prospects since just a portion of them have data, but that seems to be an issue with all services in this field.
Accepting spreadsheet uploads to get data as well as the API would be nice.
Getting to know which prospects were our desired customer. It's helped us understand our customers better.
The best I like in the app is duplication removal. I was looking for a solution that will tidy my address book for some time already. Great app.
Hard to find something I don't like but I'm quite fresh user at the moment.
I recommend this product to anybody having mess in the address book.
I'm quite busy person and I like to have order in my informations. I have a pretty big contact data base so I'm happy it helped me remove duplicates.
The ability to take a picture of a business card that is accurately transcribed plus Zapier integration is massive boon to this small business owner.
I wish the tags could sync over Zapier with Nimble - that's the one draw back at the moment.
It's a great tool. The integration with Zapier is an essential feature for me.
I meet a TON of people and was always overwhelmed by the shear volume of business cards. It's a massive time suck for me to transcribe business cards, so the ability to have it done for me and to automate getting it into Nimble is huge.
Syncing all my services together is great and I use Zapier to also push work contacts to our shared work Google Contacts account.
BUT the killer feature is the business card scanning app for me. I've tried so many in the past but this is the only one that actually works. And its 100% accurate in my experience. This really takes a pain away for me and this alone is worth the monthly fee.
There is no way to currently use Full Contact as a team efficiently... I would like a centralised contact database for our team.
It works really well with syncing and scanning business cards.
Just watch out for the contact updates... they aren't always correct.
Keeping data in sync between Gmail and iCloud because I have an iPhone and use Gmail :)
The ease of the software.. It is easy to use and understand.
Not a lot. It's great. Just the login process isn't great. I just want to login with an email and password and I don't have that option.
Showing our customers data about their potential customers, allowing a deeper connection.
There's a lot to like: bringing all contacts into one place, tag them, categorize, delete, and merge.
It's difficult to know where duplicates are formed. Sometimes contacts appear and disappear for no obvious reason.
Syncing between different data sets - Exchange, Gmail, and Personal address books.
Full contact has been a life saver and immense time saver when it comes to managing my contacts. It easily links my contacts across platforms - Google - Apple - Etc. I have been using the product for probably 1.5 years now and can not recommend it enough. It also has a Business Card reader option as well that is extremely accurate, I believe it is validated by humans - rarely if ever have I seen a mistake.
I love that Full Contact has a business card reader - but I dislike that it is a premium option...ie have to pay for it. Luckily they still offer this option a la carte so it is not too bad. Pretty cheap last time I added to my account I think they were like .10c a card that is scanned.
I can not recommend this product enough. Instead of having to update contacts across your CRM's or devices (android to Apple) can have full contact work as your contact book and update across all. Really neat trick. The product is free so it is a must try for the small business owner or sales person.
The product links contacts across platforms for you. It even shows you information you may not have known about some of your contacts. Very insightful.
It gives us data that isn't available with competitors
If that match rate was higher, we could use it for quite a bit more, but that being said it is as high or higher than any other service we have used.
Getting to know all demographics of our target customer.
Full contact is an excellent business card reader, and I really like the Salesforce integration feature.
My only complaint is that the cell phone numbers do not populate into Salesforce. FullContact support assures me that this is a Salesforce issue. They have been very helpful with trying to get resolution. The ball is in my court for the next step.
If you use Salesforce, this app will save you so much time.
We are a firm that receives a TON of business cards. Rather than each person entering the cards into Salesforce, we are able to scan the business card and sync it to Salesforce. This is saving us a ton of time.
The API to tie into my phone tools and CRM is very cool.
Actually, nothing. I would prefer better pricing on the transcription service, but the quality and turn-around time are execllent regardless.
Capture and convert biz cards into our CRM from EXACTA Corporation (www.exacta.jobs)
We use Full Contact for Person API. Thanks to this you can get more familiar with your leads in edrone Panel.
The pricing is quite high. The data coverage could be better but it is still the best solution of this kind on the market.
Pay more attention to Develop the person API feature.
Building leads and customers profiles inside edrone CRM
The api is extremely easy to use. And the documentation is great. The support takes some time to reply, but after a while they really help when your need it.
Doesn't find much information. It does help, but I find other solutions to find more info. Also, the contracts are sometimes hard to understand. I've heard they are changing their contract system, but as for right now its not very good.
It works well although it may take some time to understand the api.
We want to enrich our customer database. It does help doing that, although what might be the best thing to do is to do it manually if your customer gives that informationto you.
The Affinity API can provide really valuable customer insights.
Data accuracy has been a problem in a few instances. Data availability is also scarce outside of the US.
Take the product for what it is - they're good at what they do - and not what they say might be offered in the future.
FullContact allows us to give insight to our customers about their customers, which in turn allows them to provide a more tailored experience. It can put a face to a name (or rather, an email address).
Full Contact provides detailed social media links like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social profiles which is amazing as you can contact your buyer persona through their LinkedIn or Facebook profiles and get personal with them.
High Pricing, they should work on their pricing or get more features in that pricing., possibly providing more value.
Go for the product if you are looking for personalized social profiles.
We can now execute personalized contact based marketing campaigns through these social profiles.
We've integrated with Full Contacts API to pull in social information about our clients and provide more background and images, giving context to names within our system. Integration was simple, documentation very solid and support had very fast turn-around times whenever required.
It's a simple service that is done very well, there's not much to dislike.
This is the simplest solution we found for getting access to client information, collated from across many social accounts and easily accessible with basic API calls.
We use client information to help in making credit decisions in regards to loans; being able to simply pull in outside information from social accounts has regularly helped to fill in blanks and give more information than was disclosed in applications.
FullContact provides both the APIs to better understand our contacts as well as the insights to create better, more personalized connections.
The pricing has gone up over time, but so has the value. So while we miss the old pricing, the value from FullContact's insights are still extremely valuable.
Experiment with different APIs and find the right mix of services for you.
Thanks to FullContact, today we have a better understanding of who our contacts are, as well as how to best connect with them.
Aggregate data us more powerful than the individual information. The social media profile matching and identification saves time. I think it is relatively good and finding the correct person when you do a search.
The support people and approach to customer service is what happens nobody actually cares about the customer.
Don't accept a small test sample of data before making purchase
It provides data and makes us look impressive to clients. It provides interesting data points for trend analysis.
Great documentation, even better support
Billing is a bit weird if you need to up and downgrade
Have a great developer!
Adding social data for standard opt ins to unlock social selling
It was pretty much the only vendor we were able to find to provide social media influence data on a per person level
I remember working with the account managers, they seemed disinterested and frustrated when we didn't want to commit to an expensive package, some instances felt like we were wasting their time. They kept pushing us to buy more data that we simply weren't that interested in.
We were able to identify our customers who are influencers and provide better service
Profiles, iOS contacts integration, perfect design, tags, relations, ability to merge contacts — yay! I compared all the contact apps I could find, and FullContact was the best of them.
Synchronization not always works well, sometimes it's needed to be run manually. Web-client and browser extention are heavy, it would be good to have light and fast ones for desktop (mobile app is already great).
Use it as a personal CRM — to store contacts and to help people find each other if needed.
Personal networking needs. I can easely remember who can do some kind of work by searching keywords.
The API is quick and the output format is convenient. The data is well organized in the output (except macromeasures plugin)
Some profiles are mixed, which requires attention. For macromeasures data, which may be visible as a tree, the data is flattened in the API output which is not really convenient.
We are building a CRM tool. It gives to our clients more knowledge on their guests.
FullContact's API is dead simple to use and easy to integrate (just a couple lines in your HTML)
Information can be spotty or unreliable at times; especially with users without a corporate email address on file. It's good enough, however, most of the time, to give an idea of who a client or prospect works for.
We needed a way to show details of prospects and existing clients to our salespeople - with FullContact we've been able to take an email address and turn it into a full profile on a potential client, with just a couple lines of code in our CRM. Now we can call prospects already aware of their business, background, etc.
The ability to send in a large number of email addresses and get social media information and identity info so fast is awesome.
I wish the system gave us back more info about a person such as their phone number. I also wish the lookup by phone number worked better. I've tested this with several of my contact's phone numbers and no results ever get returned. I'm not sure what is being used for this
We're using this to give our clients better identity information about the contacts in their CRM. Putting a face to a name and giving a link out to social media profiles for their contacts has proven quite valuable.
FullContact provides a way to match up the data you already have with a richer profile of information including social handles. It is a great way to gain perspective and additional information on prospects.
Data enrichment is only one way ... it does make sense since a list of social handles could return email addresses that could then be used for SPAM.
Our clients use FullContact data to enrich their email data so they can match individuals email recipients with their social engagement. This allows our clients to see one view of email and social engagement in one dashboard in their CRM system.
We are very pleased of the API capability, as it easily works with our system. Pricing is also very competitive.
They lack some services we need, so we have to use other providers as well. For example, email domain discovery based on a given company name.
Expanding services offered.
Contact data discovery, they help us identify prospects for our clients.
Benefits -> API capability & price
The API documentation was super easy for our Product Managers and Developers to understand and implement.
Nothing to dislike, they made it super easy for us.
Better, more robust data. Our clients manage their entire CRM of companies, contacts and candidates and being able to populate data for them was a huge win. Our clients are spending less time doing data entry.
Ease of use and friendly customer support. Our organization tried most other platforms and found either their API was lacking critical data needed for our specific business or that the organization couldn't provide much help after we paid the bill. After switching to FullContact, our reps were incredibly quick to respond and very helpful.
More documentation of fields available directly from dashboard and statistic of those found vs not-found.
Helping provide more actionable insights from our users to provide a better experience while fleshing out our CDP.
The way we get the information by the single point of contact i.e mobile phone, email or even twitter id and the web hook functionality is again icing on the cake. truly love the way it has help us in gathering insights
I have used it the i must say that it has only one con : it should also include search by facebook id and linkedinid
We were solving our problem of creating persona of the customer or consumer we currently have and the advantages that we got is now we have there demographic and behavioural data points
The amount of customer profile information provided by FullContact greatly enhances our CRM, and provides a level of customer insight that our clients did not have before.
I havent really found anything I dislike that could be changed in any manner. Users sometimes don't sign up for SaaS products using the same email as they use for social media, which FullContact has no control over.
Definitely worth checking out if the data set will enhance your product.
Providing deeper customer insight in our CRM
Will show me updates for anyone once I've added them to my data base. Love it when it shows me all the social profiles they have.
Nothing much except some people have a linked in profile and it may or may not show up on the button.
Great tool to keep database from getting too many duplicates and shows me social buttons for anyone who uses them.
We've been using fullcontact for many years now, and the service has been reliable and consistent.
We'd always love to get more data on individuals and companies, but realize that this is often limited by what is available.
As stated, we're using the Person and Contact API, and it has been a reliable solution for us.
FullContact's service is always improving
You can't upgrade/downgrade autonomously
FullContact help us automatically aggregate social data and personal interests from all around the web on our users. It was going to be too costly and time-consuming to build more web crawlers and API integrations with various services, so we use FullContact for this data aggregation.
The ability to enhance data about a contact, prospect or customer and find out further contact details or demographics is extremely valuable.
Only thing that would be nice if if we could get a higher match/success rate. In some cases it was less than 20% for certain matched. Ideally it could be much higher.
Often times we had an incomplete profile of a user. With full contact we could enhance our data set resulting in more accurate and complete data that was extremely useful for our sales and marketing team.
I love their support and always improving product.
They could get a higher % of accuracy. But I have loved working with them and will continue to do so because they are better than others.
Do it. You'll love it.
We have leveraged their system for our entire database in our own app outro.com
We use the API to help our customers identify social media info with their client base.
The lack of data that is sometime pulled.
Communication with prospects and customers is key. Full Contact gives us another venue to try to communicate with them.
I like that I can get access to social network data that would normally impossible to find.
Not much. It seems to work great for the limited use we use it for.
I help my customers find the social network profiles of their contacts.
I enjoy the social media data mining that occurs through the api.
To date there is nothing I dislike. The customer service is absolutely the best in the industry.
We are able to pull in additional data points about each contact in our CRM.
The ability to actually be in tune with my customers by what they shared with me, along with what I was able to share with them!
The price is a tad steep for something that is literally so useful!
We never have to call to ask a customer for their address again, we have all of the information we are needing to make their installation easier.
Easy to use Enrichment API with reasonably good coverage
FullContact charge per call rather than per successful match
One of the best solutions on the market.
Enriching domain names to find structured information and URLs for a company
The seamless integration with Hubspot works perfect.
The fact that they don't have an errors report
We use Full contact to get more information about our leads and prospects.
Amount of information that is given about a user.
Cost, seems overly expensive in the new pricing category.
Displaying social media accounts associated to a donor in our REACH solution.
We love how FullContact keeps our contact database up-to-date.
We dislike how FullContact sometimes retrieves incorrect data. This is only 1% of the time, though.
We are keeping our contact database up-to-date. The benefits are knowing when our contacts get promoted or have a new job. We also like how easy it is to get the social media links to our contacts' profiles.
