We had integration requirements at the User permission level, inventory, accounting right through our dispatch and we're able to accommodate all of those needs. The reporting system is fluid, the dispatch system is simplified and Most importantly the mobile app was very easy for our technicians to use. With GeoOp we are able to train new technicians in as little as a single 2 hour consultation.
The company really works hard to stay on top of trends and development. Price wise they can't be beat, they offer services and value equivalent to the big players without an overly expernsive implentation. "Ready right out of the box".
Turn key software, no heavy implementation costs. I believe we've saved close to $200,000 by choosing GeoOp instead of working with a different company.
What do you dislike?
There we're some bugs from time to time, but they were mostly effecting the aesthetic or more convenience based features, they never limited functionality. The customer service team was very diligent and transparent when it came to resolving them and always ensured a proper workaround was in place if there needed an extra day to patch. Originally we had some communication delays because the CS team was based out of Australia but the company has since rectified this issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Like any software there can be a learning curve, geoOp communicates some items like charges and products and parts etc a little bit differently then conventional softwares. Check out the support guides they are very well written and it will help a lot in understanding the nuances of the software.
My suggestion is go through their trial and do your best to set up real life tests, that's the best way to see their value.
Also, the company is very good at communicating with clients and they do value feedback so I would say for people to take advantage of that.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We needed a fully integrated system that could provide automation across our entire sales funnel and supply chain and still accommodate unique data sets from multiple store locations. We had options to integrate with other leading/established softwares like quickbooks, Xero and unleashed all of which met the demands of our business. Inventory tracking and transparent accounting are critical in a franchise business model and the reporting system within GeoOp was excellent to help us meet compliance. Even then response was within 24hours.
