"GlobiFlow for businesses that use Podio"

What do you like best?

I like using GlobiFlow for Podio when I want to prompt colleagues when there is a task they need to complete. I also like that all of the "flows" are saved on our account so that we can go back to others and see what the prompts for those were. I also like that there is a quick view of all of the Podio workspaces on the left side of the screen which makes selecting the correct worksheet easier.

What do you dislike?

One thing I dislike about GlobiFlow is that setting up the flow of prompts is sort of complicated and hard to understand at first.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Using GlobiFlow will take a little time to get used to, there is a learning curve. I suggest watching any helpful videos and reading any help forums before and while you are starting your first "flow".

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main reason I use GlobiFlow for Podio is to task colleagues with the next steps in an automatic and seemless way.

"Hardcore automation for Podio"

What do you like best?

So barebones, in-your-face simple awesome automation system for Podio. Actually even more fond of Globiflow than Podio it self because it really sets your data free with superpowered yet simple to use drag and drop "coding".

Solid syncing - after having build and deployed your flow they simply just sit there performing day in and day out. Never have had the feeling of it being flaky or delayed.

With Globiflow you can build almost everything you can think of and need to automate and perform bulk operations in Podio.

What do you dislike?

A bit to 90's old school interface, does not look or feel like Podio at all, could make adoption easier if it was just a little bit more acomplished. Clearly an engineers interface :)

Also some "flows" will be reset if you change something earlirer in the flow making you build everything again - you need to choose the correct type before starting making experimentation cumbersome.

Learning curve can be a bit steep on some more advanced features and the documentation is very sparse if prices.

Search the web before building, will save you a lot of time.

Don't underestimate the simple interface - great software.

Loads! KPI tracking across 8 different categories. Moving data around between Podio apps. Triggering events on certain days, like backup and Podio field updates. Sending out custom PDFs to clients attending our events.Filling out data on all related items to main accounts in one simple session.

"Globiflow is a MUST for PODIO!"

What do you like best?

Globiflow is an amazing add-on for Podio. It is extremely well designed and a must have. Globiflow allows you to set up all kinds of workflows based on triggers. This is essential for a CRM. Podio has some built in workflow features, but they pale in comparison to the robust Globiflow.

What do you dislike?

Havent found anything to dislike so far ( we have only just implemented in the last 90 days).

Recommendations to others considering the product

Globiflow is a must have if you are using Podio and have any level of needed tasks and reminders beyond the most basic. We used a consultant for our implementation of Podio and globiflow, which we would recommend. We spent about $3000 on a consultant for our design and implementation, which we thought was reasonable.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Globiflow is an add-on for Podio. The combination creates an awesome and fully customizable CRM. We use Podio/Globiflow to manage our leads and appointments (we also added Globimail for a more robust email service). Globiflow in particular allows us to set up all kinds of triggers and then other events. For example, whenever an appointment status is markes Prepared (paperwork and research is ready), this triggers a task for the manager to review, etc. The benefits are organization and efficiency in managing our leads.

"It completes podio"

What do you like best?

The ease with which you can create workflows and automations is fantastic. Podio as a standalone store of data would only be worth half of what it is with globiflow.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the syntaxes and php style formulas can get out of hand really quick with respect to complexity. It also does need to put in some testing scenarios where we could visualise how the data would be manipulated without actually having to try a new workflow/formula on live data.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We used podio to store internal org data and create management workflows around them such as reminders, notifications, automated emails etc. It made it a lot easier for our staff as they were doing all of those activities manually and forgetfulness on their part would screw up the dashboards for the upper management. This ensured compliance as well as made it easier too.

"Great and necessary addon to Podio"

What do you like best?

It's incredibly powerful and allows you to really leverage the data in podio. The support network is great as well.

What do you dislike?

The rate-limiting is due to podio's restrictions, so you can't really blame that on Globiflow, but sometimes it gets in the way. The ability to purchase emergency actions for those times is great.

If you need to automate with Podio, this is the thing to use.

I use globiflow to create form letters, automatically update the database, link with zapier and other tools. We save TONS of time using it/

"Saves so much time in Podio"

What do you like best?

It is much better than the standard Podio workflow automation. Best thing about it is how much time it saves from replicating copy-and-paste, tedious tasks that need to be done over and over again on a consistent basis. I also love how it is basically a business hub. You have a CRM and project management tools.

What do you dislike?

It kind of seems like something that should be built natively into Podio as a regular feature rather than an add-on. I think it should come standard and not at a premium price. It also isn't perfect. It has some things it doesn't seem to address perfectly in terms of workflow steps and doing exactly what you want it to.

Be thorough with your initial automation setup.

Project management and CRM tools to keep track of client projects and also notes related to sales that are made so that when a deal closes, our project managers can have access to client-related notes without having to copy and paste or share the information verbally with the project management team.

"Great at automating basic tasks "

What do you like best?

I like that I can create workflows that automate, or recurring reminders/issues/work orders so I don't have to set reminders for myself elsewhere.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes there are glitches that I've had to work around.

Automating recurring work orders to send to vendors - was often a chore before we started using GlobiFlow.

"Versatile and easy add-on for Podio"

What do you like best?

Almost all your basic business workflows can be automated and you can convert a static database in Podio into a real information management system.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was more information on use cases, and I believe they created an interesting graphs option but the graphs design is a little bit outdated.

Sending automated transactional e-mails, updating fields in database based on changes in related items, completing workflows.

"Perfection for extending Podio's functions"

What do you like best?

I like how easy it is to set up basic automation. And anything more complicated is easily navigated with examples, help guides. and a Podio workspace dedicated to crowdsourcing information.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much I don't like. But if I had to choose something, it's that there aren't more features related to date fields when an item is created.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Benefits are time saving by automating tedious repetitive functions that we do on a daily or weekly basis. It just makes life a bit easier.

"Globyflow is Podios missing link"

What do you like best?

Globyflow picks up where Podio falls short. This addition to the Citrix family is a necessity.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the slow implementation of new features since the Citrix acquisition.

"Flexible, Powerful Process Management"

What do you like best?

So customizable and flexible to auto-manage any process. With Podio, you can manage just about any system you can imagine.

What do you dislike?

So complex it takes a while to get used to... Wish there was more graphic tools to create the flow.

Put the trial though some sample processes... if you wonder it it can be done... likely there is a way.

"Globiflow is unique"

What do you like best?

I like that it automates documents, such as contracts. We use it for sending real estate contracts directly to our current and potential customers

What do you dislike?

That it is quite a challenge to modify the document. And if you want to see the document, you can't preview the pdf. You have to email it to yourself.

"Not as easy as expected"

The expectation of automated CRM workflows.

The code consistently fails and requires substantially more technical ability than was lead to believe.
