"Fabulous All in One Integrated Digital Platform for Marketing, CRM & Sales"

What do you like best?

An integrated and easy to use digital marketing platform - the Growth Stack - to support marketing, CRM & sales for the entire team. We migrated to the HubSpot platform from a sea of scattered solutions - a Wordpress site with several extensions, keyword research with Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, etc, distribution of social media content via several tools like HootSuite, Gmail & MailChimp for email marketing, etc.

Life became a lot easier to have our team working off a single platform. We started off small and with increasing confidence we turned on more effective tools and improved on our ROI.

What do you dislike?

It can be pricey for some companies. It may not have features that enterprise grade customers may expect - more granular authotization settings, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Reasons to consider HubSpot:

1. You understand the impact of inbound marketing

2. You wish to migrate from 'islands of automation' so that you can get a lot more done with fewer motivated staff

3. Intuitive and easy-to-use all-in-one platform to serve your marketing, CRM & sales teams

4. Shorter meetings with the team based on the dashboards

5. The Academy is an excellent platform for driven individuals to go as far as they choose to. Key side effect is that they burnish their personal/professional brand with the certifications and improve their career opportunities.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Getting our entire team to realise that Inbound Marketing was the way forward to drive our business in an increasingly digital business environment. Our previous outbound practices of telemarketing, organising events, etc were failing to produce suitable outcomes. Everyone member of our team is Inbound Marketing certified. It is easier for them to understand why we need to generate high quality content on a regular basis to serve our growing audience, how we can distribute our content on multiple social media platforms in a more automated way to be more efficient, and the ability of everyone to review the analytics to determine the success of our efforts and areas where improvements are required.

"Great Features and Service to Go With!"

What do you like best?

I like how versatile the software is, as we can handle all the social posting, email marketing, managing contacts, workflows, forms, landing pages all in one place. We really don't need to rely on other vendors or platforms to run our Digital Marketing Machine! Service and support is top-notch! And if you follow Hubspot's customer 1st methodology (which is continually evolving), you definitely improve your sales, service and client retention... this is one of the biggest bonuses of working with them in my opinion

What do you dislike?

There are glitches with the social posting features at times, but we handle such a large volume of posts that it is understandable and it relatively minor for us. We always get great service and support to handle the issues!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Evaluate what you need, especially in terms of the # of contacts you upload. This will determine your pricing. But you will find plenty of features for any of your digital marketing needs so take your time to evaluate Hubspot and speak with a representative for customized recommendations.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We can manage all our social posting needs at scale, as we manage a social media campaigns for 200 Franchise locations with over 190 FB pages, 180 Google + pages and multiple Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts. We not only save time with the social posting features but we can see how engaging or effective our content is and easily re-purpose and evaluate it.

What Marketing Automation solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"There is no better tool"

What do you like best?

It is a very easy tool to use and get started with if you already know something about inbound marketing. As a platform, it's one of the best I've ever tried. It's really complete and they seem to keep adding new features every now and then. In addition, they have a great partner and certification program. It is a good solution for any marketing agency. HubSpot allows a very high ROI, as it helps you to focus on what really matters, allowing you to automate all other processes and create a fully professional sales funnel.

I recommend anyone to try your free version as they will end up buying it.

What do you dislike?

The cost of the tool is currently a bit high. They should add more capacity to the management accounts. They should also improve onboarding, as it becomes difficult to use in the first few weeks.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot has helped my agency to unify all the inbound marketing applications we were using into one. We chose this tool because it is much more powerful than other solutions on the market and could help us manage all our leads, keep them organized and automate communication with them.

"A powerful tool for brand visibility"

What do you like best?

What has been most useful in the planning process for our marketing team is being able to set up a blogging subdomain for our company's website. Really helps boost our SEO.

We are able to manage multiple social media accounts with minimal effort, something that took a lot of time before to post is now super easy to do.

What do you dislike?

The tool is pretty difficult to navigate. There is so much you can do with it which is awesome but the learning curve is intense. The learning curve is very big. get used to learning a lot

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would definitely recommend it but come into it with a plan of attack before wasting time on the platform. Take tutorials before signing up and take the support they have seriously. You can't learn this software in a day.

Work on separate things with the rest of your team and divide the workload between everyone

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We can post on all social media platforms synonymously.

We are developing a content marketing strategy from the ground up.

We are able to post content for our company through the blogging tool.

We are able to monitor traffic on all platforms including our main website.

We can maintain contact with all our prospects through email campaigns.

"HubSpot is a Game Changer! By Far the Superior Marketing Platform. "

What do you like best?

You can access support via phone, live chat, or their support portal. You can even submit a request for someone to call you...and they'll call within 5 minutes. Support is knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer they will quickly go find it. You feel like a priority when you talk to support.

What do you dislike?

There's not much that we dislike about HubSpot. By far the most superior marketing platform on the market.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take advantage of the free trial. No other providers offer this. Get your hands dirty and then ask questions. The platform is robust and will take some time to understand all the ins and outs. But, once you do, you'll be well on your way to marketing success.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot gives us a 360 degree of all of our marketing activities. It is literally the "hub" of 95% of everything we do. The power in that is that we know what works and what doesn't, which saves us money, time, and makes us look like heroes to management. Design, automation, and integrations are seamless which awesome.

"Trying to be all things to all people but really restrictive"

What do you like best?

not much, I have time to write this review as I cannot access any contacts in my hubspot database. Hubspot works well if you have a small contact set of very high quality leads that you wish to regularly keep up to date with via email and web content. For new customer acquisition at any significant scale outside of email and web it is not fit for purpose. They are not interested in partners who want to CALL their customer base at all so if you need to use CALLING as part of your pre-sales process run from hubspot right now, fast!

What do you dislike?

VERY VERY laggy

regularly unusable timeouts

Its so slow at the best of times

ONLY USE THIS product for email marketing - that is all. Its adaptability is pathetic and it lacks core essential features like a "SEARCH" function.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Unless you are doing email marketing ONLY do not bother.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

None, but I can say its helped create business problems as the business has had to adapt to hubspot.

"Great all in one solution for Marketing Automation with loads of useful info for marketers"

What do you like best?

That it has all the bases of Marketing Automation covered and also powers my social and paid campaigns. I can track campaigns from awareness right through to delight in our customer journeys.

I'm using it to publish blog posts, manage landing pages, A/B test, share on social media, publish ads, run remarketing campaigns with smart lists and to push users back and forth between intercom and HubSpot. The HubSpot Knowledge centre is great for learning about the product and self serving from the future (NZ is a day ahead of the rest of the world so we struggle with time frames on a Monday to reach customer support in any US company). I'm keen to explore their bot making tools for Facebook and get really excited that their releases are so frequent.

What do you dislike?

That I can't manage Bing ads in the platform. That would be great. Being able to migrate from other platforms and bring in data would help too. For example migrating from Instapages I'd like to be able to bring across multiple variants and bringing the data across in terms of conversion rates as well would be cool.

Recommendations to others considering the product

A great start and all round platform for a Startup in Early to Mid Stage growth

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's an end to end marketing automation and publishing platform. I'm using it to publish blog posts, share on social media, publish ads, run remarketing campaigns with smart lists and to push users back and forth between intercom and HubSpot.

"My first 8 weeks"

What do you like best?

It's easy. Lots of helpful articles and even the chat and phone support has been great. This level of support gives me confidence. It's a big program so sometimes it's a matter of just finding what you're looking for and the help quickly answers that.

What do you dislike?

I'm not as impressed with their CMS program, which they call HubSpot COS. It's not as built out as WordPress and it's been a frustrating part. When we went with HubSpot we wanted a nice WYSIWYG web building tool because we want/need a simple website structure but even with what they have, we nee someone with a deeper understanding of HTML and other web languages.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a great tool. It's easy and there is quite a bit of support. I'm up in the air with the COS tool so consider this if you want to use HubSpot as a CMS. I'm sure once we get it up and running we'll be good.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Customer insights. We expect HubSpot to help us understand or customer's digital experience with us better and to make slight modifications to make their experience better. So far, we have seen help with our social media, emails and forms.

"HubSpot is the key platform for our business"

What do you like best?

Comprehensive functionality across marketing, sales and customer support. This is matched with a strong emphasis on ease of use which is important to get user buy-in.

What do you dislike?

Reporting could be improved at enterprise level. This seems to be related to the regular additions and updates to the system. It can sometimes be seen that new functions are released without equivalent reporting capability. However, this is generally only a matter of a time delay before this catches up.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Put aside internal resource or work with an experienced agency and commit to a full implementation across sales and marketing to get the full return on investment.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

At Whitehat (https://www.whitehat-seo.co.uk) we originally purchased professional HubSpot marketing to assist our own marketing efforts and added the free CRM to replace the professional Salesforce licence we had in place. We had a massive amount of success within the first 9 months of use and made the decision to become HubSpot partners to offer this as a solution to our own clients. We have since grown to become HubSpot platinum partners. The ROI is very strong but requires a commitment on the part of the business to embrace the inbound methodology.

"Hubspot great! But not as all encompassing as one would think."

What do you like best?

I love all the abilities to create workflows and entire campaigns from start to finish. I like the ability to view analytics and the views of entire analytics of all campaigns and the ability to go into each singular campaign and view it.

What do you dislike?

I don't like how you cannot post a video to Linked in through social media automation. That seems very silly that a platform with such vastness would not allow you to post a video which is something marketers value to get their message seen and heard.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consider if the price is really worth what you would need this platform for. There are a lot of other platforms out there (which I am experienced in using) that offer a lot of the same things for a competitive price.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I think HubSpot solves the bandwidth issue that encompasses most small business'. Usually the marketer or sales person would not have the time to go and post each email or social post and then go back and check of all the engagement and optimize and then send another email and cordinating social post to those who engaged highly with them. HubSpot allows these companys to create a campaign in advance and then decide which group of people gets what communications from them ahead of time so that their efforts can more closely be focused on sales and also the optimization and monitoring of the campaign.

"Extremely useful service that would positively impact on running business"

What do you like best?

The integration with third party services such as Mailchimp and Wordpress for contact forms and lead capturing. The ease of use and the integration are the features that makes this software standing apart from the competitors. The pricing can be improved in lowering the fees, but on what it provides, it would be fair enough. The customisation of the integration plugin with Wordpress is very well done and it can be easily integrated with Wordpress platform as plugin.

What do you dislike?

A design declutter would look easier to use. The minimalism in UX would look for sure better. It is not a lack of feature that would impact on using, but a plus. Basically no contrary opinion.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is the solution that is extremely easy to implement, it is a out of the box, marketing oriented service that simply can be used by startups or corporate users. There are a lot of documents available, marketing guides and all kind of resources that can be extremely useful to novices in marketing . It is simply, on my opinion, the best solution for marketing purposes.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The integration of GDPR compliant contact forms, mailing lists and CRM services plus management of contacts. The lead capturing script is simply brilliant. We could capture on a daily basis the visitors and it automatically pushes the contact, GDPR checked, to Mailchimp service, associated with the list of choice.

"Awesome training videos, streamlined process for social posting, great techincal support"

What do you like best?

As someone who is still new to marketing, HubSpot's training videos and customer support were especially helpful starting out. HubSpot makes creating and promoting content across social platforms easy and straight-forward. Emails, too, have the templates and tools we need to create, edit, and review our emails collaboratively. We can also see advanced analytics for how our emails performed and what links people clicked.

What do you dislike?

I would love to see video integration for social media platforms. Currently, I have to upload videos in each platform to have a native video appear rather than a link. If there's a way to link HubSpot and YouTube, as well, that would help us, too. With video content growing in importance for our marketing strategy, it's becoming harder to measure our social engagement because we currently can't track that in HubSpot.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The training videos alone make this product well worth it. But the analytics and easy of use are exceptional -- I wish I used this earlier!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Streamlining our marketing efforts -- collaborative editing has made the creation process simpler, and HubSpot's advanced analytics helps us measure how we are doing.

We are also starting to use HubSpot to track our leads from Facebook ads, which has been good so far. Their training video on creating a "Greatest Hits" grid to optimize Facebook ads was very helpful when we sat down to discuss our ad strategy.

"Super User Friendly"

What do you like best?

My team reviewed several marketing automation software options and settled on HubSpot mainly because of the usability. We really have limited IT support, so we needed something with a user friendly interface and the ability to do everything we need ourselves.

What do you dislike?

The HubSpot mobile app is a disappointment. You can't use it for social media, which is really the one thing we'd like to use it for. Having to log on to a desktop in order to send out a tweet is a pain.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely go through a Hubspot partner for HubSpot set up and templating. A partner can also work on getting a good discount and negotiating a good price. The self-navigated online training is excellent, and the help functionality can answer pretty much any questions you may have. Make sure going into it you have developed good protocols for organization and approval management. It's easy to get disorganized or mess up others' work if you are not paying close attention, but this is probably the case with any marketing automation software. I can't comment on the CRM functionality because we use a different program, but it looks pretty robust. Might be a one stop shop solution if you don't already have another CRM.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using HubSpot to manage our email marketing, contact management, gated content, social media monitoring and lead management. With Hubspot we are now able to track our ROI in a much more meaningful way.

"Easy to Use, But Could Use More Detail"

What do you like best?

The UX of this tool is amazing. It is easy to navigate, quick to learn and easy on the eyes. I enjoy using the tool and find that most of the insights it provides are applicable to my daily work. It also gives me insight into areas I would not have otherwise thought were important.

What do you dislike?

I wish the social tools had more insight into what times and days perform the best for our audience. For example, it could say that the best time to post on FB for our company is at 10am on Tuesdays based on past performance of our social posts.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It helps with my marketing reporting (weekly, monthly, yearly) and gives us insight into what content is performing best on our site. I really appreciate the social scheduling tool because I can schedule posts when I am out of the office. I also love the RSS feed functionality because it ensures timely scheduling of blog posts each day.

"Great tool but has some serious drawbacks"

What do you like best?

The insight into website behavior and the use of CRM to track all interactions with customers is huge. I also really like the reporting features, the analytics I need are at my fingertips.

What do you dislike?

Their email builder and landing page builder are woefully behind their competitors. It's almost comical how out of step the builders are compared to others.

I also and disappointed in their meeting scheduler because it does not provide the flexibility of other meeting scheduling software that allows you to present your availability in 15 minute increments. With HubSpot, if you set up a 60-minute meeting, it only presents available times to meet in 60-minute blocks of time, severely limiting the times presented to customers.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you ask to see all functionality and compare to your current solution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're solving the problem of streamlining our marketing automation and CRM functions and have benefited greatly with increased awareness of where our customers are coming from, how they interact with us and how we communicate with them.

"For smaller business, more user-friendly than Marketo, more powerful than similar alternatives!"

What do you like best?

So far, the people! I have experienced the best support and customer service since day 1 searching for a marketing automation and sales support tool to integrate with our CRM. The educational resources and intuitive setup structure is amazing, and so far I haven't run into a single task or feature I want to take advantage of, even when looking for features I used in my past life as a Certified Marketo user.

What do you dislike?

That I can't wave my magic wand and know how to do all-the-things right now! Even having used other marketing automation platforms, there is a learning curve to mastering the features and integrations of HubSpot. Comes with the territory!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do your homework! When you start digging in and asking real questions of HubSpot and other similar competitors, it becomes immediately clear that HubSpot is superior. Competitors try to hide some of the ways that HubSpot is better, like their integrations, pricing increases, workflow builder, and customer service support. It's also very clear how much HubSpot truly values their customers and customer experience. Every other platform we looked at charges for support and setup services, whereas with HubSpot it is free for ALL users 100% of the time (other than a small 1-time setup fee, which still saves you thousands every year over competitors).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been able to get rid of 6+ redundant and manual marketing system that we were using previously to piece-meal together a marketing automation solution from landing pages, email marketing, marketing automation, blogging, social media, paid ads, and more.

"A robust platform that succeeds at just about every level."

What do you like best?

That you provide a robust marketing platform with ways of leveling up is GENIUS!!! You could simply have an awesome platform and I'd still probably find you valuable but that you offer TRAINING too makes you a winner. Not only that but any time we've had a question, I've been SHOCKED at how much you invest in supporting your clients. You clearly understand that the service you provide goes beyond the software.

Thank you!

What do you dislike?

I don't like seeing things I don't have a license for. I'm a marketing customer but I have access to the Sales stuff and now the Support stuff. Feels cluttering at the least and a cheap practice most software companies try to use to incent you to buy more stuff.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Where do I begin?! Last year, we lost a lot of marketing experience with some senior people leaving. It was an existential moment for us; how would we build a marketing and growth strategy without that experience. We found Hubspot and it gave us the training wheels we needed to divert the funds we would have otherwise spent on senior marketing people into other areas because of the robust training and certification you offer.

AND it's allowed us to increase our engagement rates because of the access to Workflows and automation. Amazing!

"Definite process improvement"

What do you like best?

This was our first experience with a marketing automation suite, so we appreciated the ease of use through a clean, easy to understand UI, and how helpful all of the support staff was, from our salesperson to our onboarding specialist to our account manager. Additionally, the resources library is constantly a massive benefit.

What do you dislike?

We have a unique case with our in-house data management, and HubSpot's platform often isn't able to accommodate some of our specific use cases. To that end, as we try to build workarounds, the lack of a sandbox environment means that mistakes are costly. Additionally, much of the contact specific engagement data (specific pages viewed, list of emails opened, etc.) isn't exportable, nor available through the API.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Understand your data needs. If you require any specific data constructions, make sure you discuss HubSpot's ability to accommodate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've been able to define a lead flow and begin proper attribution between marketing and sales, which we never had the capability of before. As a result, we've become far more efficient in allocating our sales team's time and attention and more responsive to their needs and the needs of our leads, opportunities, and clients.

"Very little support / not for small companies or small teams"

What do you like best?

I loved the idea, what was promised, the process

What do you dislike?

Our marketing firm (ex) pushed us to sign a one year contract. I asked the firm why we needed to sign up so early in the project, we hadn't even agreed upon messaging. They said "trust us" and we did. Months later, any free product or limited campaign tool could've managed our single posting. We parted ways with the marketing company and I contacted Hubspot and requested a review. I found out we had a support person assigned to our account (NOT once did he reach out to us, only communicated with the marketing company. We signed the contract, we paid the bill.). His review showed what we already knew, the marketing firm did not set it up properly and Hubspot was underutilized. I learned that without a solid plan, the tool is not necessary. Its like owning carpentry tools without any wood. I also learned that Hubspot prefers their relationship with the marketing firms that push their products over their direct clients. We have canceled our agreement 7 months in and they not once asked us why or tried to support us to win us back. I spoke with the support specialist ONCE. $12,000 down the drain.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have a plan. If you are rely on a third party, make sure you have a relationship directly with Hubspot. I'm sure the tool works..but like any process, if one spot in the wheel is not working, it will likely fail.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

None - Without a plan and a supportive team, processes will fail.

"A game changer for businesses and careers"

What do you like best?

Intuitive design and ever-growing features make HubSpot a blast to use. Thanks to HubSpot I've saved time, developed great new skills, and it's helped me and the corporations I work for grow at a great rate.

What do you dislike?

The CRM is limited in its functionality in terms of cross referencing data sets from across the platform in Contacts, Companies and Deals, making reporting fiddly at times, and leaving us with somewhat no improvement on ease of mastering our metrics within the system

Recommendations to others considering the product

Excellent customer service, and a platform that does everything you need when it comes to web 2.0. Don't think twice.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Automating our prospects journey. We join up information on how our contacts view our site, email and content to personalise the information they receive, which has led to ever increasing conversion rates. The cluster approach to content has transformed our fortunes in a section of the industry that is set to grow rapidly in the coming months. With this we've ranked on page 1 for multiple terms, saved a great amount of time, and helped live up to our brand promise to prospects.

"Hubspot is Great Platform For Those with some HTML/CSS Knowledge"

What do you like best?

The best thing about Hubspot is that they have a set of templates that you can choose from to create your landing pages and emails from. These templates are already optimized for mobile, so that makes it easier. It is also nice to be able to directly edit some light code. This tool is also amazing for finding HIGHLY detailed information on your website visitors and email opens.

What do you dislike?

Hubspot can be challenging in the sense that it is not quite as intuitive as you may think when attempting to build more robust campaigns. You definitely need a single person devoted to the inbound activity on the platform. It also comes with some limitations to the customization on their templates. If you dont have light HTML/CSS knowledge you will be in serious trouble when trying to do a lot of customizations on a webpage or email template. The other negative would be that the customization process for the email template is very different from the landing page, which seems counterintuitive to me.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Hubspot will give you great insight into the audience you are attempting to reach. You will get very detailed information on your campaigns and it ties in very nicely with you social media activity as well.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a serious lack of inbound marketing resources and tools. Before Hubspot we used Salesforce only. We now have an integration with Salesforce. While there is some overlap between the platforms, I do find Hubspot to have some unique properties that complement Salesforce.

"HubSpot review from B2B inbound marketing exec"

What do you like best?

Very natural and easy to use software. Includes lots of training and certification's so can be used if you're a beginner and also if you're a really experienced marketer as well. Really good resource for teams that want to write content such as blogs, eBooks etc, send out personalized emails and other tasks all on the same user platform. Very helpful with data analysis and measuring all different types of metrics - the dashboard provides good visuals and graphs.

What do you dislike?

In order to pass some certification's you have to submit a practical assessment. This can often take a while to be graded and returned to you. Some modules remain locked until you have received the practicum back, causing delays in getting certified.

Adds on through HubSpot are expensive, some clients do not want to pay out for these extras.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am an Inbound Marketing Exec who uses HubSpot on a daily basis. The company I work for, Strategic IC, is a B2B digital marketing agency that help clients generate qualified leads via inbound marketing and sales, social media and open source web development. We are a Gold Certified HubSpot partner and therefore also promote the use of HubSpot to our own clients. We use HubSpot to run various different Inbound campaigns, and create lots of landing pages and CTA's through HubSpot. HubSpot is used throughout the whole of the company and is a very easy and intelligent tool to use. We and also our clients that have bought HubSpot have experienced good results from using the tools it provides. We have experienced a much bigger increase in traffic, leads and conversions since using HubSpot.

"HubSpot is Exactly What We Needed"

What do you like best?

While we have only been using the platform for just over a year, I love how easy to use and navigate HubSpot is. Everything we need to know about our leads and customers is right inside HubSpot. We love having access to this wealth of information.

What do you dislike?

It does take some time to set everything up to work the way you want it to, because of this we haven't made as much progress in implementing all of the capabilities as we had hoped by this time, particularly with the CRM.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take time to plan your goals and implementation strategy. Go through as many HubSpot certification courses as you can, it will really help you understand how all the piece work together.

"HubSpot offers easy to use, cost effective solutions for CRM, Sales and Marketing modules."

What do you like best?

I like the fact that HubSpot's CRM module is free and they offer basic versions for Sales and Marketing modules. The interface is very user friendly, intuitive and supports customization. The service provided by HubSpot team has been outstanding. We have researched on several CRM solutions, and HubSpot stood out to be the best for our needs.

What do you dislike?

Reporting could be better. I currently cannot cross report between Contacts and Engagements, which is very crucial for our analytics. Also, more options should be available for data exports, so we could at-least create reports manually.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are an educational institution, and we are trying to solve the problem of tracking engagements with our faculty, students and staff in one single place. With HubSpot, all the tracking happens right from the portal, and we are able to go back and look at the activity history and run analytics using custom dashboards.

"HubSpot Review"

What do you like best?

I like the fact that HubSpot is a CRM and marketing platform all in one! Not only is HubSpot very user-friendly, but it has great reporting tools; you can create custom dashboards to keep an eye on your campaigns or analyze specific elements of your campaigns individually. For example, the 'analyze' tool in email allows you to compare the performance of your emails with a handy benchmark table showing your company averages. You can also use HubSpot to schedule social content, publish web content, and track leads as they progress through the funnel (you can see when a lead last opened an email, downloaded a content offer, or engaged with an article on your blog). HubSpot also comes with templates which are very easy to use and can also be customized. They are also good at keeping on top of regulations and new tech developments - for example, in response to Twitter's new rules they have changed the scheduling options. HubSpot has also recently introduced a Shutterstock tool for social media posts which is going to make scheduling so much easier and quicker. It's great that they're always introducing new features. Cannot recommend enough!

What do you dislike?

My only real complaint so far is that a couple of contacts have merged when a new contact has submitted a form by clicking on a forwarded email from someone already in the database. I believe they are working on solving this though!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot CRM has enabled our clients to capture leads in a single database and then nurture them with highly personalized and targeted campaigns - HubSpot has made it easy to track campaign progress and increase conversions!

"Hubspot is the best!"

What do you like best?

Hubspot makes marketing easy and fun. It also allows for seamless integration with other platforms for a one-place-fits-all software. I like that I can create posts, emails, campaigns, etc. and track all of it with their easy-to-use platform. It also helps that I can show my clients how and why certain efforts work better than others. I'm a huge fan of their personalization and growth-driven design aspects as well. Their Hubspot Academy also allows for me to further my marketing knowledge to best assist my clients.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much I don't like about Hubspot. It's extremely user-friendly, even for my clients who have no idea what they're doing. I guess the one thing I'm not a fan of is that multiple agencies cannot get credit for the work they do for the same client.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are using a social media assistant such as Sprout, an email tool such as MailChimp, and a separate campaign creation tool, I would recommend switching to Hubspot. You can do all of that and more within one platform instead of having to use multiple platforms. It helps track all campaign efforts under one hub instead of having to analyze multiple platforms.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Hubspot allows me to create multiple campaigns and link all of my efforts together so I can get see the complete picture. I like that I can pull together all the data I need to see what's working and what needs to be tweaked as the campaign runs. I've realized that instead of needing multiple platforms to get something done, I can do everything within the Hubspot portal.

"Great for workflows, automation, and lead nurturing, with some lingering bugs"

What do you like best?

Very good at a workflows, building smart email lists, and analytics

What do you dislike?

Social media offerings are weak and not remotely as good as managing social media directly on the platforms. Also their Salesforce integration still has some bugs that they weren't able to solve, and their customer technical support is ok, but the reps sometimes take a while to actually understand the problem.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Best parts are emails, workflows, forms, and landing pages. Worst parts are social media and landing page templates - it is a nightmare to set up decent templates. They'll help you in the beginning as part of your setup fee but if you change your design or branding or want something custom you need a coder.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Automating our marketing, lead scoring, creating automatic replies based on complicated logic trees. It saves our sales team a lot of time, and they know that leads get automatic replies to their inquiries and they will go through the right nurturing process.

"Far better than expected"

What do you like best?

The ability to send emails EASILY from contact info. We switched from Insightly and found this much smoother and easier to access. The hype of the salesperson turned out to be true.

What do you dislike?

The graphics are pedestrian. Simple blue blocks. We also would like to classify different leads for different products. We came up with a workaround but they could have made that aspect easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Good price, easily understandable, delivered what the account executive said it would

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Follow up on sales and PR leads. No longer a need to cut'n'paste. We have enjoyed the email component from within the program. Tracking and follow up with notes are fine. Required practically no training. An experienced employee can train new employees on the program. Don't know if their customer service is good or not because have yet to have any need to contact them.

"By far the best option for mid-sized, B2B companies that are serious about digital marketing"

What do you like best?

Most "suite of tools" marketing products are in fact focused in just one or two tools or functionalities, all the others being an afterthought.

That's not the case with HubSpot. HubSpot invests heavily in R&D, and is continuously improving the existing tools and launching new ones. They also do a great job of educating marketing professionals not just about how to use the software, but also about strategy, concepts and best pratices.

What do you dislike?

I do think the HubSpot CMS has a long way to go before it's as easy to use as it should be. It still requires quite a bit of technical knowledge, and for non-coders, the learning curve is steep.

Recommendations to others considering the product

From a marketer's perspective, technology should be always seen as a means to an end. Specifically, to support whatever strategy you ALREADY have in place that needs implementation.

I've seen it time and again: marketers who think that purchasing some fancy tools pretty much guarantees the success of their projects. It does not. If you START with the technology, quite simply, you're doing it wrong.

If you have no idea what your actual business goals are (sales, revenue, growth, etc.), or who your prospective buyers are, you should fix these problems first. Invest the time and effort to create a strategy that is coherent with your business goals and your audience.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have implemented marketing strategies in 50+ companies relying heavily on HubSpot as a tool. The business goals tipically are generating demand (increasing traffic), increase conversion rates along the sales funnel and, most importantly, improving the overall buyer/customer experience as a way to shoten sales cycles, increase the perception of value towards the product/service and anything else that might help accomplish the ultimate goals of bringing down the cost of customer acquisition and increase customer lifetime value.

"Satisfaction Rating!"

What do you like best?

This tool is user friendly due to its social media-like interface. Almost everyone in my team familiarized using it easily and quickly. And I am not just talking about my colleagues in 20s in age, but even for my seasoned colleagues. We like the features of it from the interface and to its usages and/or functions. We are also amazed with how it can easily and effectively be used when it comes to communicating with our customers. We are able to hit our daily target with the help of this tool.

What do you dislike?

In the span of time of using this tool, one dilemma that we experienced was the cutting in and out of the line whenever we take phone calls due to intermittent internet connection which significantly affected the way we communicate with our customers. There are times that we were speaking with our customers and the line becomes fragmentary due to poor connection since this is internet based tool. I know that the problem is not the Hubspot itself but the poor internet connection. Our company is doing something to go about the main problem and that is stabilizing our connection for the good of our business. Until then I could say that there will be the same experience in terms of using this tool. I am pretty sure that Hubspot can be a powerful tool for a certain business or organization to be successful in their endeavors.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Yes, I would definitely recommend this to others because it's user friendly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Creating accounts of customers, and directly communicating them through phone and email.

"Amazing marketing automation, blogging and social solution"

What do you like best?

The ease of use...we started using it the very first day we bought it. Which is unheard of. The setup is super simple, and you can use the features from day 1. What I like most is the guided onboarding through the training section. You can customize the training, add/remove steps, and it is all intuitive with links to explain anything you don't know how to do or where to find.

What do you dislike?

It is very pricey, and there are so many features it can be a little overwhelming at first. They are pretty flexible with discounts for prepaying, and they throw in some bonus contacts usually.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Invest in it - it is worth every penny. Negotiate for some up front discounts, they will work with you to close the deal. Also, get the reports package. It is an extra $200/month but you will want it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been able to streamline our communications with clients and prospects, and the individual sales reps can send their own templates out which has been great. We've also learned a lot about content marketing and strategies to employ every day. We have eliminated the painful newsletter creation process that we had with our old solution (it was a nightmare). We save at least a few hours each month using the super simple templates for our email blasts. We haven't done a ton of personalization yet, but we expect to use those features to help increase our open and click through rates.

"Complete organization, to manage the information of my clients"

What do you like best?

Since using HubSpot I have been able to organize all the information of my clients and link them, everything is within my reach with a single Click. To be able to have the information of the company (telephones, employees, link of the page, among other aspects) and each one of the contacts with which I am constantly related is incredible. Besides that it offers the possibility to send emails, assign tasks or schedule calls is sensational, in a few words it is my current agenda taken to the technological option. I can access my user from any device and without any restrictions.

What do you dislike?

The only complaint or displeasure that I can have about HubSpot, is its slowness to upload information at the same time as my colleagues, the box that we own can sometimes collapse, however it is not something bigger because when refreshing the page, the data admitted we will see them without any problem.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The use and management offered by HubSpot is super simple and easy. As a working group, we use it in a sensational way since we can all see the information of our clients, be directly informed with them or if they have opened our emails if they have checked our website, there are many tools that they have given us at the moment of use it, for that and other aspects, we would recommend it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot has helped us enormously in getting new customers and tracking those who have already acquired our services, keeping in touch with them is the first thing for us to know that our work is going well. For this reason, HubSpot is one of our most used tools and the extension it has with Gmail has served us without any inconvenience when sending e-mails. Its templates facilitate the information and make us more productive as a team.

"Hubspot Makes Marketing Easier"

What do you like best?

HubSpot is a super intuitive tool that offers a ton of features to help grow your business. What I like most about it is that is truly all-encompassing. You can manage every part of your marketing and sales funnel from this platform and it removes the need for a plethora of tools. I also really enjoy the enormous amount of educational content they provide on their methodology and software as well as industry events like INBOUND.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes HubSpot implements aesthetic updates that take a bit of time to get used to.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're already on another marketing automation platform, I recommend leveraging a strategic partner to help you migrate your data and reconfigure processes in the new platform for you. HubSpot has a ton of agency partners that can handle your migration so that your team can focus on driving revenue.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We host our website on the HubSpot COS and implement all marketing activities through HubSpot and we do the same for our clients. Hosting on the COS and using it for marketing activities makes life a lot easier because all updates to both the website and marketing content is being done within a single comprehensive platform.

"HubSpot is an Essential Tool for Growing Your Business and Tracking Your Sales/Marketing Performance"

What do you like best?

HubSpot has been firing on all cylinders lately with the release of new tools, improved performance updates, and expanding integrations. Their platform has really impressed me with its user-friendly GUI, which allows you to spend more time being productive, and less time trying to figure the system out. My experience with other similar software has been that you need training on the software just to get started, and productivity doesn't actually occur until after months of setup and testing. I was able to start developing marketing campaigns and dashboard reports within days of receiving access. Their project management tool helps walk you through each step of the setup process, and their customer support is world-class. Now I can launch marketing campaigns, follow-up with leads, and track ROI from one system.

What do you dislike?

This software has everything covered, so in order to actually point out an issue, I will have to be extremely technical in nature. One thing is true - they listen to their customers and act quickly on providing solutions to whatever obstacles are inquired about. They do need to find a way to allow for deal records to be updated via a workflow from the contact record. A feature that logs incoming calls and not just outgoing calls would be useful as well, but I think that they are actually working on both of these. On the surface, I have no complaints, and anything negative I have to say would be very particular that only extensive users would identify with. I found myself being so surprised by all of the features that when something wouldn't work out exactly like I thought it should, I would be shocked. You mean to tell me that this software can't babysit my children, wash my car, or mow my lawn???

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are unsure of the powerful tools it has, take advantage of their university classes and tutorials.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to manage and track the entire sales and marketing process through automated marketing campaigns, administrative workflows, sales reports and dashboards, and customer communications.

"HubSpot has been very helpful in assisting me with my daily calls and tasks for work."

What do you like best?

I love that I am able to organize my callouts based on specific criteria. If I haven't contacted someone during the quarter, I can filter them down and establish a callout queue where I can get through those calls in no time and without much effort in locating those individuals. I feel a lot more organized now.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much that I dislike about HubSpot, but I would say that it would be best to be able to pin any task to the top of the page instead of only making it notes that can be pinned. I will be on a call and include important notes in the description section for my director, but then I have to form another note with the exact same information before I can pin it. It would just be more convenient is all.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is a great system to use if you are in business. It seriously organizes everything in a way that is easy to follow. Your customers can easily be tracked, and you know exactly what has been with them and where they are heading with your company.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I feel that our goals as a team are being met a lot more quickly because of HubSpot. We are able to track what we are doing and keep each other informed with how detailed the history is on our customers. It is a great way for us to see what our teammates are accomplishing or where they are struggling. We then can change our goals or focus on what needs to be improved upon.

"Forward-thinking Marketing Automation Platform"

What do you like best?

Hubspot continues to lead the marketing automation pack. Their outstanding support and new products are great. A limiting factor is that they do ensure your "white-hat" when it comes to using their platform, it is their reputation after all.

What do you dislike?

Some new features are not in-line with their platforms older products and it is sometimes not clear if you need to have some features enabled to get the best & intended use out of them, i.e. website hosting and conversion tracking don't work if your not using their web hosting (but it seems like they are moving in the right direction but this is as of Apr 2018.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Great forward leading Digital Marketing platform, most definitely worth the price, but consider if you really do need all the bells and whistles. Pretty good al a cart approach for paying for the features you need and not ones you don't use.

"Marketing automation made easy"

What do you like best?

HubSpot is a power, yet easily to use platform that gives marketing professionals the tools to manage a variety of campaigns. Originally focused mostly on inbound marketing, HubSpot has grown to support a variety of marketing strategies as well as providing CRM and sales tools to manage the complete buyer's journey. The platform is constantly improving with new features rolling out on a monthly basis. Support is always available to help with questions and there's a robust network of integration partners to further enhance the platform. Integrations continue to be enhanced as new services are made available to connect 3rd party tools.

What do you dislike?

While the proprietary COS is easy to use once setup, making changes outside your templates (especially when it comes to styling) requires a strong knowledge of CSS. What might seem like simple changes to styles sometimes require real-world coding experience to change. COS also lacks the robust plug-in ecosystem similar to WordPress. That means adding things widgets to your webpages can be overly complicated or impossible. That said, they have already announced enhancements which will bring more flexibility. That will be a welcome addition.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As a company, HubSpot has been excellent to work with and as a product, we have been impressed with the overall capability provided out of the box and the ways the system can be extended through 3rd party integrations. I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a new marketing automation system.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had previously been on Pardot and found the tool needlessly complicated and poor at reporting and tracking campaign performance. While HubSpot suffers from some inflexibilities with their reporting tool, overall it was a huge leap forward from what we had in Pardot. We've seen a dramatic decrease in the time it takes to create a new campaign and management of existing campaigns is much more straight forward.

"Watch out Salesforce"

What do you like best?

Hubspot is an all-in-one tool for marketers and sales, (and even customer success). Since switching our company over to Hubspot we've seen amazing improvement from marketing and sales performance. Their user interface is very user-friendly and much easier to use than other CRM/automation solutions.

What do you dislike?

Hubspot is a constantly developing company. At times new tools can feel like they need more depth to be useful; however, that depth usually comes quickly. For example, their Sales tool used to be very shallow; however now it is a quality Sales tool with a good degree of customization.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Hubspot has a ton of flexibility in terms of what you can do. If you see that a feature you want isn't there, there is usually a work around to be able to accomplish your goal.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We handle all of our marketing operations and automation through Hubspot, in addition, we have our entire SDR team working out of Hubspot as well. By having both of these systems in Hubspot we have a very clean, quick handoff to sales. We are able to handle more lead generation with faster lead velocities by using Hubspot.

"HubSpot Review"

What do you like best?

HubSpot is a complex, high quality CRM program. It can be a bit overwhelming at first if you are not familiar with it, but once you learn about the features and what all you can do within HubSpot, there is so much you can do! I really enjoy how you can not only make your website through HubSpot, but that it also connects your website through all the marketing and sales features. Everything you need for your business is in one spot/one software. And if you don't know how to work with different features, there are many tutorial videos you can watch to help you along the way.

What do you dislike?

There is a lot to learn within HubSpot, depending on what features you use. It can take a while to get used to how some of these work. The website software within HubSpot is a bit different than most, such as Square Space or WordPress. Again, it takes time to completely understand how the website building software works, especially if you are not as familiar with HTML or CSS coding.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have a medium sized growing business, and want to keep attract of your leads, customer interactions and have software where employees can see everyone's interactions, then this is the software to consider! It can be a bit pricey, but it's worth it if you use the features it offers.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My business is combining our website, sales, and marketing together to get linked results about our customer interactions. We are switching over all of our sales software to HubSpot, which will make our process run a lot smoother once everyone gets accustomed to the HubSpot features. Through the CRM system, we have been able to find the results of customer interactions on our website, with our sales team, and keep attract of how we are doing on reaching customers.

"Great combined CRM/Marketing Automation tool for SMBs"

What do you like best?

While most marketing automation tools have reached a certain level of parity when it comes to standard features (lead records, social, email marketing, landing pages, etc.) not every company excels in training, best practices, and support.

Of all of the tools I've used (Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot), HubSpot clearly focuses on usability and customer retention. It's tailor-made for orgs that want fast ramp-up and ROI and does a fantastic job of making sure that multiple resources exist for whatever question you might have.

What do you dislike?

HubSpot covers 80% of what any marketing person or team might require, but when you start getting into enterprise-level requirements, it's probably time to start considering other tools. It may be that HubSpot fulfills those needs as well, but I do know that tools like Eloqua and Marketo are feature-rich in those areas.

The other thing to keep in mind is that you will need to pay for add-ons like specific sales tools and reporting, which can be a bit disappointing, but at the price point you're paying, it won't consume your entire budget.

Finally, there are certain areas of the tool, like the Design Manager, File Manager, and Settings that seem to be dated (I know that some of these areas are being redesigned) but these are nits and don't diminish the overall excellent usability.

Recommendations to others considering the product

While all marketing automation tools have reached feature parity for 80% of what's needed, HubSpot excels for SMBs with ease-of-use, fantastic support, and a great price point.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot helps you improve:

- content creation

- website traffic

- lead generation

- lead qualification

- lead management

We've seen our website traffic double in just a few months after leveraging the tool properly.

"Not all the features, but easy to use."

What do you like best?

Best I liked how easy it was to integrate into my Gmail. I was able to get the integration completed and in use the same day I set up HubSpot. It was easy and I now can easily import contacts and conversations back and forth between the two.

What do you dislike?

I would like to send an email to all my contacts at one time using a template. I so far have found out how to send a message using a template to each individual contact; quite time-consuming.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take some training or learn from the help sections.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I was trying to track when customers would read my email, click a link in my email, and track their responses. I wanted this to all be integrated with my Gmail account so that all my email would come out of there. I wanted to make sure I was able to do this and do it easily. I have been able to do this all very easily. The only issue is with the sending the messages, I cannot send individual messages using a template to more than one contact record at a time.

"Why I love HubSpot and why you should love it also."

What do you like best?

Content management - it facilitates the creation of any piece of content. From a post to social networks, a blog post, a mailing or Landing Page.

Contact management - because it allows for a total tracking of each user from reaching away until it becomes a client. Also it helps to monitor the life cycle of each contact and creating smart for debugging database lists.

Keyword management - I love completely handling the keywords of HubSpot because it helps you to do research, it helps you track and in each publication helps you with optimizing contents.

The forms - with smart fields [you can] avoid asking the same information from frequent contacts and this helps us limit our database with additional information about each person.

What do you dislike?

Scheme of payments for the number of contacts.

The biggest productive percentage of my country is the micro, small and medium companies, and many of them can not invest in a tool like Hubspot.

"What Insanely Great Products Are Like!"

What do you like best?

What's there to not like, it's HubSpot! The backbone of our marketing operations and automation. This is one tool no fast-growing marketing team can do without. What I like the best is the insane customer support and the customer education they provide through their content. Anything you're ever stuck with, can be found answered in forums around the internet, if not first found on the Hubspot's user guides (which is never the case to be honest). Really like how you can authorize your team members' Google Accounts to sign in, and other quirky features.

What do you dislike?

Nothing to dislike here, apart from the fact that the tool does take some time to get hands-on to. It can do wonders, but to do that you'll first have to enable yourself enough to do so. Just give it the time that it needs, read the manuals, hacks and everything available and then get on doing the task you want to.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Trust it, hands-down.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

End-to-end marketing automation and operations. Benefits are insane, streamlines processes so efficiently and can be scaled as largely you want. The most major benefit is that this helps your teams become more effective at their jobs, highly, highly recommended.

"The best all-in-one sales and marketing tool I have used so far"

What do you like best?

Intuitive UI and thorough tracking, enables seamless collaboration between sales and marketing, all-in-one solution

What do you dislike?

It is not designed well for international companies who have multiple currencies and special needs for access right. Workflow does not allow deal properties.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I highly recommend Hub Spot to any fast-growing small or medium companies who understand the importance of real-time sales engagement and marketing automation.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had too many different digital marketing tools and scattered data, which made it hard to track the whole sales and marketing funnel and ROI. With Hub Spot, we are able to have everything in one place, from website, SEO, lead flow, CRM, marketing automation, email marketing, to sales enablement. It enables us to have much better collaboration between sales and marketing, thus better tracking. I am looking forward to the launch of Customer Hub that is now in beta stage so that we can include Customer Support in the same portal.

"Hubspot has changed our business"

What do you like best?

Our sales and marketing team are now aligned and we can collaborate seamlessly within Hubspot. The software is user-friendly and helps keep our team organized. The training and education through Hubspot Academy is extremely valuable! Can't say enough about the customer service as well.

What do you dislike?

There's not much I dislike! Only thing I would say is that the reporting for the marketing platform could be improved.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We do lots of webinars and the integration with Go to Webinar is amazing! The social media tool within Hubspot has really helped us track our efforts as well.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We implemented Hubspot Marketing and Sales CRM almost a year ago and it has changed the way we do business. It has allowed us to embrace the inbound marketing strategy and has increased the quality of our leads and in turn help us close sales. Our sales and marketing team are now aligned. Our lead quality has increased. We can now track our marketing campaign success.

"Great Marketing Automation Tool"

What do you like best?

HubSpot has a lot of great tools included, but the piece that makes they stand out from all of the other automation tools that I have used is their support team and knowledge base. I feel like I have everything that I could ever want or need from the tool to be successful with it.

What do you dislike?

The price. HubSpot does have a high price tag, but you do get what you pay for.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As like with any new tool for a business, make sure you do your research. You want to ensure that the new tool will work well for you and your team. Just because it works for other's doesn't mean it will work for you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to gain more information on the people who are visiting our website and downloading our information. Also, it has helped our marketing department better assist sales in building their pipeline.

"Easiest MAS out there - and great for the occasional users!"

What do you like best?

The academy is great. It has lots of courses and you can also make it a team-building exercise with a shared training center.

We use premium support and I highly recommend this if you have the budget: it's fantastic. They are always available.

Onboarding was fantastic as well, they really take you at the hand.

What do you dislike?

Permission settings are limited - We have so many users that we would need to drill down much further to make sure all of them have access to exactly what they need. But we do understand that we also are a very specific case.

Social Media can be better but that being said, they are always working on making it better!

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have a small team or small budget but also if you have a team that consists of more comms than techy people (i.e. they don't know how to code and write great things in html and CSS) - then this is definitely a tool to use.

Get in touch with them and talk to them- hubspot offers a ‚meet a current customer‘ service where they connect you with people in your industry or area. It‘s fantastic since you get real insight into the tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Aligning 90+ Marketing & Communications colleagues in more than 50 countries behind one software for email marketing, landing pages, social media posting and monitoring, and one set of KPIs.

"Hubspot has turned our marketing strategy around"

What do you like best?

Hubspot really simplifies marketing automation, it is very intuitive and has a great customer service. Their academy section is extremely complete and even though it is a complex tool which includes many different features, it is always easy to find an answer or solution to any problem.

What do you dislike?

Its price would be the biggest downside. If your company is relatively small and you do not have a full-time person dedicated to working the inbound marketing strategy, or work together with an inbound marketing agency, Hubspot prove to be too much for you.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Hubspot is one of the best designed marketing automation tools. Hubspot is the tool for you if you have enough resources to make the most out of it, as it includes almost everything you need to carry out your online marketing strategy.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With Hubspot we are now able to centralize all parts of a previously decentralized marketing strategy. Hubspot allows the alignment of marketing and sales teams through a perfect integration to their entire suite of inbound tools, especially the Marketing and Sales platforms. This facilitates the delivery of qualified prospects and the successful closing of the transaction. The best thing about Hubspot is its ability to deliver the quality content that you create for your audience. Hubspot makes complex things such as the creation of blog articles or the development of a marketing e-mail campaign with automated workflows to generate instant communication with customers and subscribers of your website extremely easy. In addition, its social network monitoring system is perfect to manage and control all communication through your accounts on social networks from a single screen.

"Great for organization and keeping information in a handy way "

What do you like best?

I can find data easily by just typing the name of a customer. It also helps a lot when it comes to solving programing issues with other coleagues. Teamwork is super easy in HS because you can easily tag people on your notes either to keep the update with a process or to ask them for help. Plus there's an app, I love the app because I cand work anywhere I go no need to be in the computer or the office, I can keep track of evertyhing in my phone.

What do you dislike?

It stops working sometimes, the colors are too serious, it's hard to look for clients with spanish names because some characters are too important like the accent. Its faster to type a name without an accent and see it anyways. It´s a little hard to get friendly with the app, sometimes i can´t find some information or it takes me a while to find it. I don't like the emails, it's really hard to make a nice design or if i have my own text templates on google drive and i copy and paste in HS it looses al it's format.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a great tool for business managament and really friendly for people who have trouble with technology. Also teamwork is really easy with Hubspot. Its like a business facebook where you can tag any coleague and everyone can see what you've been up to. If someone is sick everyone can keep doing his or her work without any troible.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Customer service, getting track of everything. Also, all the info is together in one place.

"Great Solution for Teams of All Sizes"

What do you like best?

HubSpot provides an excellent platform to automate marketing processes. Among the best features is the ability to create workflows that direct actions for more efficient lead nurturing. Automated onboarding campaigns and email marketing are easy and simple to enable in the platform. The ability to generate reports from a variety of metrics is also very useful.

What do you dislike?

No product is perfect. We use both the Marketing and Sales platforms and some parts of the Sales Pro solution needs some work. Specifically, the chat functionality of Messages should have more administrative features and users shouldn't require a Sales Pro license in order to review previous chats. Some reports could be better and you can't link reports to dashboards; which is a bit of a letdown. In future releases/updates, there should be a way to create customized dashboards that can pull from any metric.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take advantage of customer service. They are a great asset for your day-to-day questions and tutorial/use needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Email automation, lead nurturing, social media monitoring

"Hubspot is a great inexpensive CRM for Nonprofits"

What do you like best?

I work for a nonprofit but use Hubspot marketing and the CRM tool for tracking opportunities. It's so easy and automatic use on a daily basis. It helps me track new potential members and the addons our association sells. Hubspot is super affordable to use on a small scale, but will scale up easily should one need more power.

What do you dislike?

Scaling up can be quite expensive. Hubspot should create a few more pricing steps for small organizations. Otherwise, it's virtually free or $10,000 per year. Hopefully they will understand that there are thousands of organizations in their target market they could nurture toward a higher price point.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are a small organization without a CRM, Hubspot offers a great entry point to cloud bases CRM and marketing automation software. I recommend it to small or large teams. I am a marketing and sales team of one using this software and find it very easy to begin using. Support is also very responsive if you find yourself stuck in in a bind.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Hubspot contributes to our strategic growth plan. It helps us operate like a sales organization so we can focus on membership growth and revenue.

"Excellent tool, comprehensive and easy to use."

What do you like best?

Reporting, analytics, email marketing (workflows), forms, blogging. These would be my top pics and here's why:

Reporting is very straightforward, detailed and yet easy to read and understand.

Emailing through Hubspot is excellent as you have endless options for segmentation, personalization, and even smart content - depending on the lifecycle stage.

Forms allow you to collect tons of data on your leads and blogging is just super easy - way better than WP.

What do you dislike?

Landing pages could be better. Not easy to create without a developer. They lack ease and options that ClickFunnels or LeadPages have. We had to buy few templates (that range from $20 to $500), and it was still not the best experience.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Pair Hubspot with ClickFunnels and Zapier. That will allow you to be more creative with Landing Pages and reap all benefits of HubSpot.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Ultimate goal is always to generate more sales, right? HubSpot allows you to do exactly that, by following inbound strategies, creating value for prospects and generating qualified leads that you further nurture to further stages of buyer's journey.

"Couldn't manage without HubSpot!"

What do you like best?

I love how easy it is to use. I can create and send an email, update a landing page, manage keywords and SEO and support the sales team with a dynamic CRM tool all in one portal. If anything ever gets too much - there's always someone at the end of a phone who I can call or email and get support in a quick timeframe.

What do you dislike?

There have been (few and far between) a few service outages which were obviously out of HubSpots control over the past year. They were really good in keeping us updated and ensuring the service would be up and running in a short time. The important thing was that none of our data was compromised and the website was still live for prospects to view.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We had a free trial with fantastic support from the team. When we did purchase we had a three month on boarding process with monthly catch ups and unlimited support from our account manager. After the on boarding we were handed over to a new account manager who has been great in supporting us to implement new features and ideas.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We want to increase our authority on web and make it easier to deliver campaigns. It used to be that we would spend so much time on the admin of the campaign it made it nearly impossible to deliver a great experience for the end user and customer but now we are able to ensure that this is done by using HubSpot to manage campaigns and automate the daunting task of updating CRM and manually inputting data or using disparate systems to get the job done.

"Hubspot For the Win!"

What do you like best?

Their support is incredible! If I ever can't figure something out, I am quick to call them because they are so friendly and eager to help me. Calling into support can be frustrating with most companies but not Hubspot. They make you feel like you're calling your really computer savvy relative. Not to mention they have video classes on how to use their tools effectively in your efforts.

They change with the times. They are always staying up to date and current on how marketing is rapidly evolving and making adjustments to their database to help, while keeping you informed through their blog. Hubspot is my first go-to blog for everything Marketing. It's very fun and easy to use! Especially the new Hubstars rewards program. I feel like a secret Marketing agent, and I get rewarded. So awesome!

What do you dislike?

Their integration with Salesforce isn't the best. Especially if you run a really complex CRM with custom fields to track campaigns and activate leads (our own personal process). I kept having so many issues with this and Hubspot wasn't the best at resolving it. They pretty much just told me to clear up my errors without much training on how exactly to do that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Solving the need for a all inclusive Marketing software that allows us to nurture our prospects to lead them down the sales funnel and also to nurture our customers to keep renewing with us. It helps immensely with reporting, workflow, list organization and making me look like a boss to my boss.

"An OK CRM with a varied subset of features. "

What do you like best?

I like the breadth of features ranging from Sales tracking, email marketing, and landing page tracking. The ability to trace a whole users journey from joining the CRM to all the interactions they have with various campaigns is very impactful.

What do you dislike?

I do not like the limited feature set in regards to email marketing. A/B testing is very limited and emails are sent in bulk with little regard to sending limits and being marked as spam. In HubSpot, in general, the features feel very ad-hoc added and there is very little total consistency across the software.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Test each of the different features before committing to the full-versions. Some features may be underwhelming over overwhelming depending on one's needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot has served to track all my leads and help with tracking opens, clicks, downloads, and other features of various campaigns.

"One of the best tool for marketers and sales team"

What do you like best?

Hubspot is a multi-purpose tool that comes with a least complicated dashboard and has some of the outstanding features. Its use for sales is equally beneficial as it is for marketing.

I user data captured by Hubspot marketing tool is simply awesome. I liked the reports and the user data it captures. Another benefit is the code snippet is well compressed and does not hamper the website's speed.

For sales, it handles the CRM features very nicely. The admin view of the data is very organized.

What do you dislike?

No major loopholes in Hubspot. It has a tendency to sometimes miss the data that comes from secured sites which is a drawback.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Hubspot as our sales and marketing tool. We have installed the code on our website and use it to track visitors and formulate marketing strategies around it. We also use it as a CRM to manage sales data.

"Easy to Use and SO robust"

What do you like best?

I love the easy dashboards, analytics and reports you can get from Hubspot vs some of the other platforms. The social aspect that is built into Hubspot is honestly the best in the market. There is no comparison. When you have an issue the customer service is always helpful and friendly. Also, during implementation, the team is with you every step of the way to make sure that everything is working and customized to your liking and needs.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, I can't think of anything. It's easy to use and support is always a question away if you need help. I love how easy it is to use. All their content is helpful too! If i was going to say anything, I would say I wish there was more video content to be able to view - but honestly, that would be the only drawback I could consider.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do a test demo and try it out. They offer a free trial.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Automated email drip campaigns and social scheduling is a breeze. We needed to find a software that we could implement in many different business models and the implementation of Hubspot was perfect. We've seen great results with Hubspot and we can't wait to see about building out some websites and really getting into the nitty gritty. We can only see us getting more and more involved. It is worth every penny we have invested into this product.

"HubSpot is extremely helpful for digital marketing productivity!"

What do you like best?

In my opinion, the best feature of HubSpot is the ability to create and analyze campaigns. This helps with showing results to clients and deciding how to run new campaigns. This also helps with creating the most effective social posts for the time of year, season etc.. One can look back and see what worked best in previous campaigns, and use similar strategies for the future.

What do you dislike?

If I had to choose, the only thing I dislike about HubSpot is that it is relatively expensive and potentially hard for smaller business to afford.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The training certifications available through HubSpot are an amazing resource!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Scheduling social posts, analyzing, managing, organizing campaigns, publishing/editing blogs in one spot, organized CRM. HubSpot has provided a streamlined way for my company to do essentially all of its processes. I have only been using HubSpot for about a year, and it is so intuitive and easy to use.

"Easy to keep track of prospects, clients, & deals"

What do you like best?

I like the CRM feature best. I can keep track of everyone I come across, and I can send emails directly from the contact's page, which is tracked to notify me if they open the email and if they click on any of the links I provide...AND THIS IS JUST WITH THE FREE PLAN. I can also type notes about client meetings & keep track of any outstanding deals we may have.

What do you dislike?

I wish I was able to create my own signature that is visually appealing. I also don't like the lead tracking, but mostly because I use Wix to host my website.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to keep track of anyone I come across, any emails that I send to these prospects, any deals I might have & at what stage they're at, and I can see any tasks that I need to do in order to shorten my close.

"Hubspot: Great for Small Business"

What do you like best?

Hubspot works well for organizing marketing and sales emails, as well as a space for creating a website that is both attractive and functional. Hubspot also has tutorials on how to use their product, which I find extremely useful! I have taken these lessons and have learned a lot about the aspects of Hubspot and feel more confident about using their content manager.

What do you dislike?

It seems a little intimidating at first, when you first start looking around the site. If you aren't familiar with how templates and scripts work, you might be a little pretty confused. As long as you go through all of the tutorials, you will understand what to do next.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you know a little about Wordpress before diving in hubspot. The website does include great tutorials but having a little bit of knowledge of coding and stylesheets does help in the website building. Sales and marketing part is easy to use especially after doing the tutorials.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a new website and a sales and marketing platform that is all in one. We can now keep track of our emails going out to clients and at the same time pay a flat fee, instead of using multiple platforms.

"Powerful, robust tool with everything you need and then some!"

What do you like best?

HubSpot makes it easy to learn the tools you need with an extensive catalog of courses, help items, blog posts, and more. The interface is easy to navigate and understand. Software is super powerful, but can be used simply as well. You can build your entire website, email marketing, social media presence, and use the CRM, or you can use it for just emails.

What do you dislike?

It can be intimidating, daunting, and almost too robust. It's unclear whether or not you can cut your package down to eliminate services you aren't using. Some things, like call-to-actions, can only be used in the HubSpot system (that is, you can't create a CTA and then put it on your Wordpress site).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Contact management, email deployment and reporting, some reporting. We were double-paying for email deployment systems, and when we realized the thing capturing our contacts (HubSpot) was also capable of sending emails, we were able to cut that cost and implement a monthly newsletter campaign easily. Website visitors have increased because of this.

"Hubspot Great Tool for Medium and Large Marketing Departments"

What do you like best?

Hubspot is a really good platform to use in marketing departments ranging from medium size businesses to large corporations.

While my time on the platform was spent using its blogging tool, I couldn’t help but notice how Hubspot offers ways to streamline and monitor your marketing and sales activities.

For example, the marketing dashboard allows you to collect data, track activities, and make insights from your content marketing activities. What I like about this is that you can download this information not only as a pdf, but as a powerpoint presentation, which makes for a great visual when discussing what has and hasn’t worked during staff meetings and posting in quarterly reports. Also, you can incorporate some of the data into infographics or use data visualization tools.

I found the design of the platform especially the blogging platform clean, simple and well organized. When I compare it Wordpress, I found that the paid version of Wordpress was more visually busy. For instance, the right side column had a long list running down the page. It also has a few more steps were required for some actions. However, I still use Wordpress because I have always found it efficient.

Hubspot’s blogging tool allows for multiple blogs and multiple bloggers. It makes it easy to incorporate images and videos and quickly post to the Internet. So, if your business is more content-focused, such as a magazine, or if you have several products with complex functions, this the blogging tool would be extremely helpful.

The blogging tools interface shows all active blogs and their status which ranges from Draft, Scheduled, Published, and Archived.

Some of its features that I found quite advantageous include the ability to see your Topics but also your Campaigns, which is helpful with After-Action reports as well as conducting social media audits.

The New Composition makes it more feasible to copy over pre-written content so you can maintain some of the format; and, New Blog has templates to help you streamline and accelerate your blog posts. A very nice perk is the CTAs you can incorporate into your blog.

Also you can see all of the Comments posted about the blogs, which can not only help you to assess the blog content, but also find new ideas for blog articles, products, and services.

What do you dislike?

One drawback I can think of is the migration of content from another blogging platform like Wordpress to Hubspot. I’ve learned that it can be tedious process. I would also say that you would definitely need to check the formatting when using New Composition to ensure something like links are carried over.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I’ve followed HubSpot from the beginning when they were continuously publishing an onslaught of blogs and whitepapers before it created this software. I thought when they did create it that it was a genius move. I would recommend Hubspot more for marketing departments in medium to large size businesses because it has so many features that can be used. You wouldn’t want to miss out on them because it could provide useful information that can get your business to the insight and information it needs to come up with the next great idea.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I worked on a freelance writing project for Every Door Direct Mail. It nvolved writing a series of blog articles for campaigns directed toward accounting firms and fitness centers. The benefits I saw with using this platform for multiple campaigns that were scheduled to run at the same time was the ease in its use and the ability for reviews as well as previews. For example, you can preview how the blog will look on different mobile devices, like a smartphone, laptop, tablet, and desktop.

"HubSpot was a game changer for us! "

What do you like best?

I ABSOLUTELY love that everything that we need to be focusing on as a marketing team is in one central location. The reporting has made a huge impact in marketing attribution, tracking the success of campaigns and organizing workflows. The HubSpot team has been phenomenal to work with and I would recommend the platform to anyone and everyone.

What do you dislike?

I use the Social Publishing tool frequently and hate that I can't tag individuals on Facebook or LinkedIn. You can only tag company pages. Which is great - but when we are trying to thank individual contributors or reference quotes from industry leaders or our exec team, it's a huge pain. I also wish there was a way to access more Twitter features from the Publishing tool - like add multiple pictures, tag users in photos, use Twitter polls, or quickly and easily append GIFs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

DEFINITELY go through all the certification courses. The quicker you can get up to speed and learn about all the features - the better.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Like I said - the reporting has made a significant impact in understanding how marketing efforts are effecting the business as a whole. The lead scoring, workflows and smart list features have given our sales team a renewed focus and helped us really up our inbound game. The reporting helps us measure the true impact of focusing on our social media platforms and realize the massive potential that exists in that space. Before, we had no way of measuring beyond how many followers we had or how many likes and retweets we were getting. Now - we have a powerful way to measure our brand presence.

"A must-have marketing automation platform"

What do you like best?

1. Ease-of-use: Despite giving so many features, there's not a single one which is difficult to get on with. The platform is built for marketers (read not-so-techie people) and it shows. Whether it's landing pages or emails or workflows everything is visual and drag-and-drop.

2. Easy implementation: The implementation of the platform is also quite easy. Copy pasting a single javascript code on your website gets the platform going. If you're using their website add-on (hosting your website on Hubspot), you don't even need to do the javascript thing. Email domain authentication and SSL implementation are also quite easy and Hubspot's comprehensive documentation certainly comes in handy.

What do you dislike?

I think they have covered themselves really well in terms of the basic marketing automation features. But, probably, they can do more when it comes to advanced features like A/B testing of workflows, dynamic web content, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you've convinced yourself about marketing automation then this should be your go-to tool. With more pricing options now available than before, there should absolutely be no hesitation to get started.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being an inbound marketing agency we implemented HubSpot to keep up with the latest in market automation technology and to supplement our inbound marketing efforts with a solid marketing automation platform. The platform has been able to improve our turnaround time for various marketing campaigns.

HubSpot que es una opción inteligente y fácil que cuenta con todas las características básicas necesarias pero sin la complejidad a menudo confusa que tienen muchas otras plataformas de CRM.

"Perfect for an inbound strategy "

What do you like best?

I enjoy how focused and designed it is to work in what they advocate, which is inbound marketing.

It offers you a wide range of options, from CRM, Sales and Marketing and they keep updating themselves often.

When you use it as a whole it allows you to capture all the traffic, leads and be very on top of your inbound cycle.

What do you dislike?

To maximise it completely you need to use it as a whole. It loses a bit of its value when you only use one bit of it. My company was only using it for email campaigns and it proved to be a very expensive tool just for that. You have to completely surrender to their method to make it worthwhile.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are committed to an inbound strategy this is the tool with you. Packed with courses and advice.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It helped my company realise that we weren't implementing any inbound marketing strategy. It helped us work out why, and slowly we have building out one. We have redone the website, done their academy courses and started following their tips, to get the most out of this tool.

"Why waste your time - use HubSpot"

What do you like best?

HubSpot brings everything together in one place. Spend less time compiling data and actually use it to advance your business. Because everything is intergrated, every piece of your marketing talks with the other pieces, and you can better run effective multi-channel campaigns, evaluate what's working and what's not, and test and improve while it's going on.

What do you dislike?

They fixed the confusing pricing (that regularly changes), so that's better. (See pricing page) Tools within the system can be moved around a bit - but they do give advance notice it's coming. The organization of the Design Manager was easier to use when they launched than now after the "improvements."

Recommendations to others considering the product

You'll regret it if you don't just go with HubSpot. The time saved trying to make other systems do what HubSpot does is money lost. Just do it it right the first time.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Why track anything if you a) can't report on it or b) use the data. With HubSpot, you can! Because it's all integrated, versus disparate stacks of solutions, you can easily and logically do what a marketer needs to do without spending hours just compiling reports that no one looks at or which data is outdated by the time the report is done.

"HubSpot Gets It - Simplicity!"

What do you like best?

HubSpot is the easiest inbound marketing/marketing automation software I've ever used. The user interface is consistently simple and clear. The support is high quality and you get answers quickly and in an organized fashion. It's relatively easy to onboard new sales or marketing employees. I love how integrated the CRM functions are with the inbound marketing/marketing automation functions. If you want a one-stop shop for CRM and inbound marketing, give HubSpot a serious look.

What do you dislike?

I'm a big fan, so there's not much about HubSpot I dislike. There's room for improvement in the number and sophistication of integrations with other software solutions, although this is true for most HubSpot competitors as well. There's also room for improvement in the granularity of the reporting.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're solving the simplification of the marketing tech stack underpinning our lead generation and nurturing. HubSpot has helped us increase organic traffic as a percentage of total traffic, which has in turn led to a falling average cost per acquisition.

"Great marketing and sales suite but a bit pricey"

What do you like best?

(using the mid tier pro package) Really powerful contact management, automation and workflows allow you to automate almost anything with your campaigns. Workflows also help a lot with internal processes. The free CRM is pretty good as well.

What do you dislike?

On the downside, out of the box (ie not the reporting addon) is way too basic. Hubspot is based on understanding your personas and reporting simply does not tell you anything unless you upgrade. Considering the hefty 10k price tag for the mid tier package i'd say that is pretty poor, Personas are core to HS but reporting on them is not is why i can't quite give a 9 or 10.

Recommendations to others considering the product

it's great, just make sure your budget ca accommodate. If you are on the smaller end of an SME but need Pro it might be a hard justification with so many alternatives out there. It is however the best in my opinion.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Marketing and sales automation / organisation. HS has brought a lot of process to our business.

"Gives us the tools we need to be successful. "

What do you like best?

I love how easy hubspot is to use. I was able to begin my job and figure things out as I went with very little training. The tools are intuitive and so easy to use.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes with the web page editor, the ways to customize your content can be limited. Sometimes you need some html knowledge to fix small issues like line breaks and such.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Hubspot is a great tool that you can use at many levels. It helps you create professional looking marketing material easily. The wysiwyg capabilities get you most of what you need to customize but you may benefit from some basic html knowledge.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use hubspot for our web site and some of our emailing. I love how easy it is to update our landing pages when we get rate or disclosure updates (financial institution) and the emailing tools are great because we can create custom templates for newsletters and bulletins easily.

"Easy to use, great support, ads add-on streamlines our lead generation efforts"

What do you like best?

Hubspot is a great all in one marketing automation platform. It is simple to use and once one has the hang of it, easy to learn new features. The ads add-on sealed the decision for us. We use many channels for lead generation and the ads add-on made organizing leads from disparate places (and campaign types) a breeze.

What do you dislike?

I would like to see a better way to prepopulate contacts before they in the Hubspot system. For us, it makes more sense to be able to create a list and have that populate separately, vs having all leads come into the main contacts and then have to set a unique variable to get them into a prespecified list.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Hubspot for most of our inbound marketing automation, content and webinar signups, and automating Facebook / LinkedIN leads followups. However, there are still email alot that we do with Customer.io that Hubspot does not do as well.

"It's a World-Class Software (If you have the time to learn/implement)"

What do you like best?

- Excellent, timely customer support

- Thorough onboarding process

- We demoed numerous types of marketing software, and Hubspot would definitely win "Best All Around" in its' high school yearbook. Very impressed with the breadth of features.

What do you dislike?

- Pricing model: Hubspot is definitely on the expensive side, but what really bothers me is the complexity of pricing. For example, you may purchase their marketing software, but have to purchase advanced analytics separately. Your price also goes up with contacts, so the initial sales process is confusing if you are launching new marketing initiatives.

- When you demo this software, everything looks so easy. It's such a great customizable system that you have to really take time to train on it in order to get the most out of the system. We didn't have the bandwidth to run through all the setup/implementation, so we ended up engaging a 3rd party Hubspot Agency Partner. If you're a founder (or don't have a marketing FTE w/Hubspot experience), I'd recommend engaging an agency partner.

Recommendations to others considering the product

In order to fully utilize Hubspot, you need to either 1.) Have an outsourced Hubspot provider or 2.) Have someone on your team that's well-versed in Hubspot. You really need to have time to understand how to leverage it. This isn't something I'd recommend a founder/CEO try and learn on the fly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- We have avoided hiring a marketing FTE by automating many of our marketing tasks with Hubspot

"Great Marketing Automation System"

What do you like best?

Hubspot is powerful and user friendly. It truly lives up to its mantra of "all in one." Our team is able to do all of our marketing activities and everything works in sync. Hubspot has built an incredible brand and product around the idea of inbound marketing. The tools in the software, from landing pages to file hosting to lead collection forms, gives a marketing team everything needed to succeed doing inbound. Lastly, they are constantly iterating and adding new features. It never felt stagnant.

What do you dislike?

It can be difficult to initially setup. It takes several weeks to have your website/blog design implemented into their content management system. There is certainly a learning curve, but once you figure it out it is easy to use.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Marketing automation is a critical function for any B2B business.

"Hubspot has kept the leads flowing to our sales team and allowed us to organize our follow-up. "

What do you like best?

I love the Inbound Marketing forms and data we've been able to pull. On the CRM side, the reporting still has some room for improvement, but we love the sequences and have been able to automate our follow-up like never before.

What do you dislike?

The reporting has been a real issue for us up to this point. The dashboard doesn't allow us to track some of the line items we want to stay on top of. There is also an issue with it accurately counting the emails opened. While that may be out of Hubspot's control, but it's still a frustration.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have seen an influx of inbound leads and while a lot of that work is the result of our marketing team, it's great to be able to leverage workflows and smartlists within Hubspot to quickly follow-up and ensure we are connecting with hot leads.

"Top CRM and COS for marketing and small sales teams"

What do you like best?

HubSpot is a fantastic platform for marketers to generate leads through inbound and other marketing tactics. They;ve put a lot into the CRM and sales sides in recent years, allowing for full-funnel alignment between sales and marketing. There are 3rd party tools that give HubSpot a boost, but at a base level it has everything you need to drive results throughout a prospect's lifecycle. Also, support is top-notch.

What do you dislike?

These are two main areas in which I would like to see improvement:

Company name (at the contact level) and associated company do not always match up due to the way HubSpot processes that data - can lead to pain and confussion when considering prospects on the contact vs company level and in company name vs associated company.

More ability to send emails on sales reps' behalf. When introducing automation triggers, there is no perfect way to automatically send an email "from" that rep.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

HubSpot helps our small B2B marketing agency generate results for clients at scale, better track and report on marketing activity and engagement.

"Great value and great potential"

What do you like best?

I like the ease of use of the GUI. Easy to understand where different fields are, how they can be sort.

There have been big improvements in the year + that I have been using it: allowing parent/child companies, having different Deal stages push notifications and create tasks. All good!

What do you dislike?

1) Document previews now only show the first page, and don't indicate that there are more pages than one. I could be looking for marketing materials to attach to an email and by all indications a 12 page pitch deck could look like a 1 page cutsheet.

2) I like that we can use parent/child companies, but having more + deeper relationships would be better. Ex parent, child, grandchild companies, or sister/brother companies. The real world is not very linear or logical and more choices are needed

3) when setting tasks it is nice that there are quick options (1 day, 2 day, 1 week, 1 month) but we those take only a few clicks to do manually and don't save a LOT of time. what would help more would be allowing it to be customized so we can use 3 month, 6 month, 1 year reach outs without having to click through 12 months of the year.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

deal lifecycles, customer reachouts, marketing and all things being used by us via hubspot.

the new integration with linkedin, when it works, is great in helping track down prospect information.

"Great CRM with Marketing & Sales Add-ons"

What do you like best?

CRM is forever free :)

I love the lead flows and collected forms - they are incredibly efficient to integrate with one's website and not having to go through the trouble of copy-pasting the information - saves a lot of time (and as a result - money).

Currently, we have switched to the paid version for Marketing because we realized that we need a couple more additional features, but even the free version of the marketing add-on was a very convenient and efficient instrument.

What do you dislike?

In Marketing add-on, there are several packages available. Among them, there's basic and starter. Those are hard to distinguish by name (which comes first and which has fewer features). But that's naming and so that's not much of a drawback. Otherwise, it's a very wholesome product.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're looking for a convenient CRM with lots of features and quality support, that's HubSpot for you. While it might be expensive to add features, there is always a balance to find and it's possible within HubSpot. And that time usually spent by copy-pasting the information to your CRM is spent much more efficiently when your marketing and sales are working with the information already in the database.

Personally, I love the lead flows and I love the collected forms. As a marketing specialist, I think those are the most convenient things ever - and they are available even in the free version!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Marketing & Sales automation, CRM, and it also saves the information about the pages a potential client has viewed which helps to understand his/her needs and follow them up with content that is relevant.

"Great System for Great Results"

What do you like best?

Easy to use, connected tools, pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it. The tools are connected to each other so it makes it easy to see how they work in concert and analytics to measure results. The Support Team is easy to reach and their solutions are top notch. If anything else, they would offer solutions outside the original inquiry to think ahead.

What do you dislike?

Some new tools released don't appear to be tested and there are tiny nuances to each tool that if fixed or improved would help make each better - things like UI adjustments or 'speaking' to other tools in the suite.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Much like the industry that we're trying to solve for, HS allows us to use multiple tools all in the same place and since they're connected it makes it easy to see our efforts in once place.

"Great tool, but a bit expensive"

What do you like best?

It's a one-stop shop for everything you need - content management, email, social media, CRM, and more.

What do you dislike?

While HubSpot does a solid job at all of the things listed above, it doesn't do an amazing job at any of them. E.g. it's a solid email platform, but Constant Contact is better. Solid content management system, but not as good as WordPress. Good place to post tweets, but not as good as Tweet Deck. You get the point.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have the budget it's a solid tool and easy to learn. But just know that there are some cheaper tools that are just about as good, e.g. you can use Mailchimp for email or WordPress for content management. The main benefit of HubSpot is that it's a one-stop shop.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We primarily use it for emails to a variety of different lists (e.g. current clients, prospects, event notifications, etc). We used to use it for content management on our blog but we switched back to WordPress.

"HubSpot as a CRM "

What do you like best?

It does have "everything you need to organize, track, and nurture your leads and customers" and it's currently free up to "1,000,000 contacts, users, and storage without any expiration date". Sales People don't like lots of admin so this is an easy to use CRM where they can put in the basics, Name, Company Best contact number and website, then an admin can fill out all the fields and customise. It's so easy to use, I rolled it out at a team meeting, without going through it all first. It really walks you through set up in minutes. It's that simple.

What do you dislike?

I would like it to scrape like an API, all of the details from the companies' websites. From physical location to social media urls.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Simple, easy for sales people to use. It's worth getting the emails sent through it so managers can check communication if needed.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Keeping track of emails, what's current, one place to store the customers links and information. We still use external drives like Dropbox & Google Drive, however we link these with Hubspot.
