"Great for new talent"

What do you like best?

This was actually my first time playing with software like this. We have a large client that staffs about 500+ employees, and they're looking for newer and better ways to streamline their hiring process, and to get new employees up to speed quickly. So, what's not to like about software that transitions new hires through a personalized, immersive experience that automates the whole hiring process?

What do you dislike?

There's still a few kinks to work out in the programming. Resume population is a problem that may or may not ever be "perfect", no matter what software you use... for example, when I see some resumes drawn in from the program, sometimes the software auto-populates fields in the wrong areas, so portions are labeled with incorrect information

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would highly recommend trying the software yourself, just to get an idea of what the user experience would be. Understand that the resume population isn't perfect and it's still going to require the human element to review everything and make sure it fits. The last thing you want is a candidate to be passed up or their accomodations/achievements to be overlooked by a bug in the software or misplaced information.

Our client has been able to streamline their hiring process and get new employees up to speed without having to waste a ton of time with HR, significant amounts of training, etc. New recruits are brought in fresh and ready to go, having worked with the software before even their first day.

"Great applicant tracking system "

What do you like best?

What I like most about iCIMS is that their client service is by far some of the best I have ever encountered with a vendor. Anytime you need help their client support line is always available to help out and I have not had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so for an answer over the phone. Additionally, when you open a ticket with them on an issue you are having, they send you email correspondences for every update they have to share, which I appreciate because you are always in the know on how to move forward with issues you are having.

What do you dislike?

What I like least about iCIMS is that their focus is mainly as an applicant tracking system and not a full-service system that includes features like payroll, performance management, succession planning, etc. iCIMS has really mastered being a very reliable applicant tracking system, but they have room to improve moving forward as a full-service provider for companies.

"New Age of Onboarding Employees"

What do you like best?

This is a great way to move into the digital age with on boarding employees, it can replace employees physical files completely and is easy for new hires and administrators to use with little guidance.

What do you dislike?

When you make a mistake sometimes its difficult to have it corrected.

Make sure your everyday users have had a chance to "play" with the system before going live with onboarding.

This saved my company so much time and paper! Went from having new hires spend 2 hours in orientation completing physical forms and with this product cut that down to a 1 hour orientation reviewing policies they already signed online!

"Great tool for HR ! "

What do you like best?

I did use this software and is great. Nothing like it. Supported in the entire facility can absorb all the issues regard HR .

What do you dislike?

Maybe they can look to stay on top ! Available review to be up to 2 years to see the candidates . Maybe introduce some colors into the screen to make it more stand out . I think it can be very boring to look at blask and whote all day .

Great tool if you are looking for a software to resolve your HR data and issues . Very user friendly and is if needed support is on stand by .

"Flexible toolset and easy, built in integration"

What do you like best?

Integration and preset toolset make for a flexible onboarodng and HR solution.

What do you dislike?

The slight downtime with getting used to the work process needed for the various inputting of data, although this is offset by the benefits gained with the easy integration options with our existing systems.

Successfully making the hiring process efficient and streamlined. Also the benefits of a preset forms and easy connection to our esixtong HR platforms makes for a great package.

"iCIMS is the perfect program to start your experience with a new company right. "

What do you like best?

The ease of navigation provided for various courses and the interactivenees of the animations are what make the platform enjoyable to use. Everything is so intuitive in terms of UI and navigation.

What do you dislike?

I don’t dislike much about this program and interface. I think adding functionality for the user to have more control over volume could be helpful.

"Lengthy and un-intiutive UI experience"

What do you like best?

It is able to connect with other websites to import data which makes it easy for the person to apply for the job.

What do you dislike?

However, a lot of times the imported data is no accurate. In addition, there are a lot of pop up boxes that are not easy to click. The candidate does not have a smooth experience.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Improvements are needed. The consistency of the software is not the best. Data validation is very slow and can be improved for education and work history.

This platform is useful for recruiting and scheduling candidates for review by the hiring team. It imports most of the data that needs to be evaluated.

"Good ATS and on boarding tool"

What do you like best?

This is great for all users involved in the hiring process. It makes applying easy for candidates and its easy to sort for hiring manager and to move them along the process.

What do you dislike?

The one thing I dislike about this is, the search tool with in the system. It is not very user friendly.

This process has saved us so much time when sourcing for the perfect candidates.

"Great Platform for New Hire and Job Req"

What do you like best?

The ability to track applicants through the on barding process allowing for a smooth transition from applicant, to job offer, to on boarding (and tracking all items during the on board checklist)

What do you dislike?

When we purchased the platform the training was lacking, as this was more self taught and then professional training.

We have solved long turnaround times allowing for appliancants to get placed quicker and have a faster more enjoyable experience during the onboard process. This has allowed our firm to maintain and increase productivity standards are each of our distribution centers..

"automation function"

What do you like best?

The automated job board postings functionality is very useful. The workflow moves candidates through the hiring process is convenient and transparent.

What do you dislike?

The features do not include common needs. It is not a full-service system that includes features that companies typically need like payroll and performance management.

Currently, there are just so many steps involved in iCIMS. The system requires too many "clicks" required to drill down to the information needed. It takes time to move on between multiple candidates and requisitions.

What do you like best?

"Bad Customer Service & Hard to navigate "

What do you like best?

We are able to customize onboarding our employees for any special State requirements. We are able to customize the recruiting process for any special needs of our commercial clients and allow external hiring managers to interface at various levels.

What do you dislike?

Customer service was not helpful. This is not a user friendly system.

Needs better service. Seems like their staff is constantly rotating.

"Glitches"

What do you like best?

The quick one click send off of new hire forms to employees and new hires.

What do you dislike?

With any new software there will be glitches, without glitches we cannot move forward. There have been several problems with sending onboarding documents, getting forms completed from new hires as forms are not going out.

Sending off new hire forms quickly and efficiently. The ability to just send thinks in one click versus having to go through each form manually.

Likes the ability to triage applications, and configure a workflow for approvals for a hire once a selection is made

once you make errors it is hard to get them corrected, so be friends with the site administrator!

"Easy New Hire Process"

What do you like best?

How seamless it makes training multiple new employees at one time.

It can be somewhat complicated to learn how to use right away, but once you get it it's easy.

What do you like best?

I like the software because its very user friendly, as well as efficient.

What do you dislike?

Only thing I would say is its very lengthy and you cant save and return if you forgot something. A lot of companies now are using this for onboarding.
