"Intelliclick adds powerful eMarketing to GoldMine"

What do you like best?

The data and analytics you are able to capture with the Intelliclick tools is extremely powerful for a business. It let's you know exactly what the person is "looking" at in your email and then via subsequent clicks into your webpages.

What do you dislike?

The install and setup can take a bit of work and knowledge to complete. However, Intelliclick's tech support is very helpful at guiding you and assisting at making that happen.

Recommendations to others considering the product

You must weigh the cost of benefits. This gives much more feedback than any other email system. If you have GoldMine and plan to send emails, this is a must have tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Intelliclick will help you stay in touch with your clients and help you gain new clients and business. By having an intelligent email and reporting back of information of what the recipient is doing helps you to better engage with the client or potential client. Also, this data becomes part of your GoldMine CRM system which is creating a Corporate Memory of all that transpires with your contacts.

"Avoid if viable alternative exists"

What do you like best?

honestly nothing - i wouldn't recommend the system to anyone.

I can't speak for the specific parts of their system my client deals with (email marketing, CRM, etc..).

What do you dislike?

A client of ours is using ClickTrack/OpenTrack on their website to maintain details in GoldMine (CRM platform) so we have to use it despite there being far better alternatives.

they're quick to blame third party tools for conflicts stopping their system working (even giants like Google that are common place on websites) - Even after being given examples of the bugs that seem to plague their system they haven't provided solution or advice on the cause of issues.

they're quick to dismiss any level of support without a direct support contract, even if the question asked is answered with a quick yes/no - they'll respond with longer emails skirting around questions asked. They seem to be cagey regarding how their software works and/or don't seem to understand how it functions. Documentation is non-existent.

If you have a viable alternative I'd strongly recommend considering that

personally none. Implementation of this system (which should literally just be drag/drop of components) has resulted in a detrimental impact on performance and SEO (which was a shock to me)

page loads are duplicated due to a redirection that occurs on their system - I cannot get clarification from IntelliClick as to why this redirect is occuring, despite making suggestions that literally require a yes/no response from anyone that has the slightest idea about their system.

"Steep Learning curve for Inteliclick"

What do you like best?

It reports back into Goldmine CRM --- and when it works up dates the email field and various other user defined fields.

What do you dislike?

Had to get my 15 yr of email data ready for implementation that cost extra. GI-GO

The interface crashes occasionally with run time errors.

Recommendations to others considering the product

WE wanted something that was tied back into goldmine software. Primarily done for CASL compliance requirements and some additional functionality. It has been a moderate to steep learning curve.
