"A Useful Retargeting Tool"

What do you like best?

Azalead is a very useful platform to do retargeting and account based marketing.

The interface is easy to understand, and it's fun to scroll around and see who's checked out your site.

What do you dislike?

The tool in itself isn't very actionnable. I can only really use it to look around at company level information, but it isn't very well integrated with Hubspot so I can't actually do anything with that information.

The value really lies in the retargeting.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The efficiency of the tool lies mostly in having the right alignement with sales on what accounts are key, and the budget to run ads. If you're sales alignement isn't great, then you won't succeed.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're trying to target certain key accounts for our Sales team.

We want to reactivate contacts that have visited our site, but haven't filled out any forms.

"A great tool to detect, to measure and confirm potential business, and to target the right accounts"

What do you like best?

Azalead is a radar. You see a point with a company name on it. No less, but sometimes more.

- As an account manager it is very helpful to confirm that a prospect is actively investigating your solution.

- It is also the best way to detect an interest from a company long time in advance

- Then when appropriately linked with CRM and ABM tools it's a good tool to make sure we prospect the right way

1. The weekly (or daily) report are of great value:

- Seeing a peak of visits from a Company - often impossible to detect it so obviously another way

- Seeing a prospect in my top 5 of the detected accounts, staying in the charts during a long period of time

- A good reminder and call to action agent

2. Customization capacity is really helful

3. Also like the landing page with dynamic charts and ranking displayed which immediately give a global view

What do you dislike?

Still a lot of micro improvements expected here and there to make the information as accurate as possible while keeping the whole picture as clear and simple as possible and to centralize information.

Having a global view at first sight is very easy, but navigating through the UI to dig further can take time

Matching the content with CRM tools takes time. No miracle - prospection and sales takes time and requires high precision work.. so this is not a dislike, just a mention that Azalead is not a magic stick

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

At first, confirming I target the righ accounts : making sure I am talking to a prospect who is considering the product for real and obviously investing time on it

Then observing and checking my assumpions; getting ideas, tendencies, detecting patterns and understanding if a specific market is a particulary valuable target

"A very clever digital marketing tool - still in its "young age""

What do you like best?

A lot of added value for digital marketers. 1) understand your business audience (what companies / industries / sizes are coming to my website) and check the pertinence of SEO and SEA. 2) understand more the navigation paths. 3) being able to precisely retarget 4) create precise emailing campaigns. 4) create lists of cold-to-cool leads to feed your sales channels.

Tool is really eay to use, lacking some few "practical" fonctionalities but the new may 2016 release is much better.

What do you dislike?

- of course you ionly see a name of a company, not who's behind the mouse (is it the managing director or the reception desk lady?) Azalead tag on BTC and BTB pages can be provn inefficient because the btc navigation "pollutes" the BTB.

- Database relevance: tool not always able to identify the right company name, sometimes not all IPSs as well.

- you clearly need internal ressources, someone who will regularly use and tag. That's some minutes every day.

- For us the ROI is still not totally found, as we are struggling with the sales channels who are not so enthusiastic about having to manage cold-to-cool leads, for a question of ressourses (again) and mentality.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our efforts are to develop a lead generation programme for btc and btb satellite broadband service in Europe, for our distributors. We have been focusing in the last year on growing B2B volumes of leads, and decided to test Azalead as a specific b2b tool.

Our idea was to give the tool to our commercial people / distributors but the adoption for them is not easy. Not that the tool is difficult, but somehow they don't really believe in the "buying signals", being more used to traditional way of prospecting. Fully use Azalead for our company mean entering a real digital transformation and wel.l.. not sure that's going to happen soon.

"The best way to get started with ABM"

What do you like best?

In my company, we use Azalead as a mean to track and increase qualified traffick to our website, as well as to better customize the content we send to our visitors. Its best features are, in my opinion and for our particular use:

- The quality of its B2B database

- Very handy tools, such as an email address "getter"

- Powerful reporting options

- Great customer support

- Beautiful, easy to use interface

What do you dislike?

As some others have said, some data is sometimes missing for smaller accounts.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take the time to carefully craft your target lists. You can even fill it with companies that have not yet interacted with yours, and then track their habits once first contact has been established.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Using the Azalead software, we have started by analyzing ourcustomers and the most active companies on our website. On this basis, we were able to establish a list of target companies, on which we focus our communication and marketing efforts.

This allows us to compensate our lack of resources and time by dramatically increasing efficiency. In just three months, we were able to generate an increase in the value of our sales pipeline by 27%.

"There is a long way to go"

What do you like best?

It provides data on the companies that are currently visiting your website and the content that they are looking at.

What do you dislike?

The quality of the data is not very precise, some examples are:

- Companies name might not be accurate. It mixes companies with similar names. Example Sogetti and Soget.

- Location of large companies is not appropriate. An example: companies based in France can be referred in Spain.

- The company size of the companies does not represent the real size.

- Sometimes the content referred as visited does not match with the visitors activity.

User interface is not very friendly, and along with the issues in the quality of the data, leads to a large amount of time invested without necessarily providing useful information.

I think they should try to improve the existing user interface. Some suggestions are:

- In the "Account Selection" section, while looking for details of the visitors, when we click on the name of the company it would great if instead of opening a new page, the information could be shown as a drop-down menu. Why? Because if you don't find the information that you are looking for you are forced to come back to the beginning of the list of companies. It means that all the time that you have spent scrolling down to look for specific companies is lost and you have to restart from zero your search.

Another option, once you have check the details of the company, you can come back to exact point of your search instead of having to come back to the beginning of your list.

- Again, in the "Account Selection" section, when you have the full list of visitors, you could a column with symbols that show you the activity performed by the visitor. You can add symbols for website visits, ads clicks and email opened. By doing that, we will be able to easily vIsualise if the visitor has opened an email. No need to click or open the account section when you are looking for emails of the visitors.

- It would be great if in the "page viewed" section, the date of visits could be shown.

- It would be good if all the companies with opportunities ("Sales Pipeline") could be tracked, so we can follow their engagement in the marketing activities.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think it could be useful depending on the usage you will give it. For ABM outside France I am not sure is the tool you should use.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

So far, it has not been very useful. I struggling to find whether it brings value to my activity.

"Helpful tool!"

What do you like best?

The profiling part for each account, we can follow every step of their staying on our website, it is very useful to send them the information they are looking for and to study their behaviour.

What do you dislike?

The problem is that the information we get is not really qualified, there is a lack of database regarding the interesting accounts. For example, when someone from a big company is visiting our website, we can't find his information, that's a real shame not to be able to contact the right person for the big companies and not being able to help them.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We succeeded in tracking some very good information regarding the opportunities we detected in first place when people finally came to visit our website. But unfortunately, we don't receive enough good information. We're currently trying the account-based marketing solution and will see how we can improve that!
