"Kahoot. Divertido y educativo."

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

Muy divertido y fácil de usar. Muy adaptable a todo tipo de dispositivos.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Kahoot paa equipos"

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"GET KAHOOT!!"

What do you like best?

- Quiz: permite realizar preguntas ofreciendo varias respuestas alternativas.

What do you dislike?

Vas a necesitar conexión a internet.

Recommendations to others considering the product

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Great Game for Learning"

What do you like best?

I absolutely love kahoot for ease of use and platform. Kahoot makes it very easy to create a multiple-choice style game for learning. The game works for students of all ages- children and adults!

What do you dislike?

Kahoot can sometimes lag on the user end, as all users besides the administrator of the game are playing on their own device. They connect to the game with a code, and sometimes students screens load faster than others, allowing them to answer quicker. Points are given based on quickness to answer, so this can be unfair to those that have faster or newer devices.

Recommendations to others considering the product

You will need to create "wrong" answers for your questions in addition to giving the correct one, so make sure you leave enough time for you to create the game. You will be typing all questions and answers. Your students will be given a code to join the game. When playing the game, you will need a home screen to display the question and answer options. The students will see symbols for each answer option and they select on their device. For devices, smartphones or touchscreens like tablets work best.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Kahoot provides an easy, free platform to make learning fun for all ages. You can create a multiple choice game that involves intriguing graphics, fun sounds, and interactive for all learners.

"Kahoot Is a Hoot"

What do you like best?

I like that I can quickly create a game to review for math on the same morning I want to use it; it is that quick and easy to use. Also, I can tailor it EXACTLY to what I want my students to focus on.

What do you dislike?

There isn't anything I would say that I really dislike; it does what it is supposed to do and meets my expectations for what I want to use it for, which is simple, engaging skill review games.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend this tool even to those who do not consider themselves tech-savvy. With an interactive whiteboard and Chromebooks, it nicely fits into almost any classroom and the students will pick right up on it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am solving the problem of students NOT being engaged with review of skills before I give a test; 4th graders aren't adept at studying and reviewing by themselves yet, so this gives me a way to get them to return to the material before taking a test, and they are realizing what they haven't mastered and need to work on a little more.

"Fun Quizzes!"

What do you like best?

I love that I can create my own quizzes or search for quizzes made by other users. This site gives instant feedback for student understanding and kids have a lot of fun. They love that they get more points for getting a question correct, and it brings out their competitiveness.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing big that I dislike about Kahoot! It is easy to use and search for quizzes, but I guess one downside is that sometimes the answers to the quizzes made by other users are incorrect, so that affects the scores of the students. Another downside is that if I want to go over a problem because I noticed that many students had an incorrect answer, I can't see the problem/question after the answer is revealed.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Kahoot! makes it so simple to check for student understanding and going over misconceptions as they happen. Teachers get immediate results and can address any problems students may have. Students see this as a game, so they always have fun when playing, and they think of playing as a reward (even though they are actually learning and practicing the concepts learned in class).

"Easy to set up , and fun for students!"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is versatile. It can be used on computers, ipads, even smart devices. I have made my own Kahoot reviews and quizzes and I've also used some of the many that are posted on the site. It is easy to use. The students are completerly engaged when we use kahoot. I like to use them as a review for units of study, but they could also be used as assessments. The kids feel like we're on a game show.

What do you dislike?

I can't really think of anything I dislike. If I don't find something there that suits my needs, I just create my own.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Try it, you'll like it!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Kahoot is a great study tool. I use it for elementary students, and my daughter in high school says she uses it in her classes. It's great for all ages. Great for reviewing r assessing students.

"Kahoot! will rock your class"

What do you like best?

Kahoot! is a wonderful tool to get students motivated and enthusiastic about learning. It is easy to use and the students love it. It is clear and quick. There are different games and you can download the reports at the end of the game. The students also love the podium.

What do you dislike?

At the moment, we can't put the quizzes in folders. That would be very practical.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Kahoot is a very easy tool, every teacher should try it out. The students love it and you can play it in class or set it as homework. It is practical to use at the beginning of a unit as an introduction and at the end as a revision. You will not regret it!

"Using Kahoot to its full potential in the classroom!"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is an awesome tool for revising and consolidating informations, it's fun, easy to play and join! There's just one major gripe I have...

What do you dislike?

The Kahoot team need to allow for real-time student collaboration while making the Kahoots! It's an awesome tool but is so far mostly being to a fraction of its potential. If the students actually make the Kahoots it enables far deeper and more active engagement. I've built a scaffold that works around the design flaws to empower students to create their own: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Student-friendly-Kahoot-Scaffold-3447507

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have students build their own Kahoots! This allows for deeper and more active engagement and embedding of key learning concepts. Mysteriously the software makes this a little tricky so I've compiled a student guide and some handy work-arounds! https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Student-friendly-Kahoot-Scaffold-3447507

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Kahoot helps address education inequality by empowering all students. To bring it to the next level have students make the Kahoots with these tips: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Student-friendly-Kahoot-Scaffold-3447507

"Ideal tool for Elearning, not only for children"

What do you like best?

It is an easy way to work interactive with our students. It is motivating them and can be accessed everywhere.

What do you dislike?

I think for some students it is negative that there is a score system that favors speed over quality. I have seen it many times that some errors result through this flaw.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think everyone who wants a fun and playful way to teach their students can try this tool with no risk in completely disappointment. Plus its free to use, no risk for you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Kahoot for quick comprehension sessions before and after real tests. As our students are older clients that we are working with for job improvement actions the best feature is the mobile version of it. Many students have to go to work and have a family so time and flexibility to learn is the key to a successful learning process.

"I use Kahoot as a fun way to review with students "

What do you like best?

I like that it gives students time to read the question and pick the correct answer. You are also able to have multiple choice questions to up the 4 answers. I also like how you are able to set it so that there is a possibility of having two correct answers.

What do you dislike?

I do not like how students do not have the possible answers on their individual computers. You only see the different colors to pick from instead of the answers. It makes it difficult for students because they are forced to look up at the screen and sometimes make a silly mistake by picking the wrong color because they werent looking.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have seen that students really enjoy Kahoot because it is entertaining and it is engaging for all types of learners. I like how all students are involved and answer all questions instead of just one question per student.

"Great Interactive Tool for Elementary "

What do you like best?

I love how Kahoot "game-ifies" the idea of review. Definitely don't use it to introduce topics, but the interface it presents for fast paced multiple choice questions is great. The students love it and I see students who aren't typically engaged suddenly asking if they can borrow notes from another student so that they can reference them to get questions right. Love it!

What do you dislike?

While I do like the game quality of Kahoot, I'm not a huge fan of how it awards points for first to answer when the question immediately appears. I wish there was a frame of seconds that it recorded as the same number of points because I have a lot of students randomly guessing in hope of getting a lot of points.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend this product to any teacher who works in elementary. I feel like the design style/gameplay model works best for everywhere from Kindergarten to maybe middle school. Definitely has a "cutsey" quality to it and could create some problems in that students add their own accounts and name them at the beginning of the game. Definitely a great tool for fast paced review that will engage all students.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The students are now excited the day before we take a test or quiz. I see a lot of students showcase decreased test anxiety because they now associate tests/quizzes with games and fun competition. I feel like it also engages a section of students that aren't traditionally motivated in school by pulling in the competition and game aspect of it.

"Review for Kahoot"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is fun, exciting and a very interesting way to learn things. The quizzes which are basically like games are very interactive and fun! I love the fun arcade like music in the quizzes. It is great for fun icebreakers in meetings at work. I also use it for my students in my SI Sessions when I quiz them before the exams. It is very versatile when it comes to use.

What do you dislike?

I wish it allowed subjective responses as well instead of just multiple choice responses. I also think that there are some bugs in the software because it freezes many time, and that is not fun especially when there is a match going on!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely give it a go if you are in the education/work environment.

"Kahoot! is KRAZY Fun!"

What do you like best?

I really enjoy using Kahoot! as a way to allow my students to review before tests. I also like to use it after reading chapters or sections in social studies. I am looking forward to using Jumble next week as I have not gotten to test that out with my students yet.

What do you dislike?

It is not insanely quick to make a Kahoot!, though it could be if there were a way to import a spreadsheet. I am fairly tech savvy so that would be a great option for me.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use a Kahoot! as an icebreaker in meetings, quickly gauge student background knowledge, or just to play some trivia with family

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I do not use Kahoot! with a business, but with children. It really does create comradeship and competition within my classroom, two things that are hard to come by at times.

"Kahoot is a fun place!"

What do you like best?

I love that Kahoot is so fun and easy to use! It is easy to create learning based and training based quizzes in a gaming format so that everyone enjoys it and gains knowledge as well!

I love how it is so easily accessible to everyone and the background music in all the games is pretty cool as well.

What do you dislike?

It lags a lot at times which is a bummer because, during timed quizzes, it cannot give an accurate representation of the winner. It also consumes a lot of the battery because my phone heats up so much every time I use it. Regardless, I love Kahoot!

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would highly recommend using it on your phones.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Good interactive game"

What do you like best?

Good interactive game that gets almost all kids engaged. I like that I can alter the amount of time allowed for each question, as well as add pictures or diagrams to the questions. The scorekeeping keeps the kids interested and trying to get the right answers.

What do you dislike?

It can get a little crazy and some students just guess really fast trying to get the most points, rather than thinking through the question. There are ways to use it more as an assessment/survey, but the kids don't have fun with that.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use kahoot to review with students. Once I see overall answers to questions, this also let me go over the questions in the moment if students have not done well. It's a great way to test the kids in a fun positive way and get instant feedback of their knowledge/understanding.

"Kids love it"

What do you like best?

Students love the interactive nature of this program and enjoy competing for the highest score

What do you dislike?

As students race to get the best score, they can prioritize speed over accuracy. It is good to remind students that string correct answers together will get them bonus points so answering it correctly is more important than answering it quickly

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use it! I would set clear expectations at the start of the review to ensure you are getting the desired outcome that you would like during the activity

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use Kahoot as a review activity at the end of a lesson or a unit. The main benefit of this website is that students are actively involved in the review and thoroughly enjoy the activity.

A side benefit that I have used this for is to fill time during a study hall as I will pick random kahoots for students to compete in

"Interactive, game learning experience!"

What do you like best?

My students love it! My kids cheer when I tell them we are going to play this game. You can also play the same Kahoot more than once in "Ghost mode", where the kids can go up against their ghosts (previous scores). The Kahoots are relatively easy to create and there are tons of games made by other users that you can search and use as well.

What do you dislike?

In the past I have had some glitches with the game. Some students will be kicked out (on their iPad) mid game and have to reenter (which frustrates them because they want to keep up their winning streak!).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This product helps my students to review key concepts in a fun and interactive way. They can play on teams or individually. It is especially helpful for my 1:1 classroom, where each student can play on their iPad, but could be used if only a few iPads were available as well.

"easy review for students"

What do you like best?

It is very easy to create your own quizzes or you can use quizzes that have already been created by other users. The students are engaged and answer the questions and gives both teacher and student instant feedback that they can use to fuel discussion.

What do you dislike?

Everyone has to complete the question at the same time, and if someone gets disconnected and you don't know right away, you may be waiting a long time as you don't know if a student is just taking a while to think about the question or if they aren't connected or if they are participating.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is easy and the free version fits our needs. I have not seen what the paid version can do however.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Excellent tool for audience engagement!"

What do you like best?

Kahoot makes the everyday question asking and presentation fun! It is a way to get your audience engaged that brings energy and excitement to the room! Kahoot is always a most loved part of presentations when I read surveys from attendees. It has completely changed the way I do public speaking, presentations, and workshops.

What do you dislike?

I think the functionality is great, there aren't many things I dislike. However, some pre-made questions would be helpful to get your juices flowing when creating one.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use this tool for in-class engagement, quizzes, and polling!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Kahoot - Simple Solution for practice"

What do you like best?

I like that I can create and customize interactive quizzes and practice for my students. Also, it is easy to find quizzes that are already created on the same topic and edit those to fit my needs.

What do you dislike?

I wish there were more pre-made quizzes to search from. Also, I wish I could easily search for pictures, videos, and music to add to my Kahoots.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consider having the students to create questions ahead of time that you can quickly add to a Kahoot. STudents are more invested and engaged when they are looking for the questions they have created.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This is a great bring your own device activity for students. This is a fun way for students to use their phones while still learning in the classroom. "Interactive Assessment/Review tool"

What do you like best?

I LOVE Kahoot and so do my students. I really like that they have added additional features this year such as Jumble. Jumble is great for Social Studies and anything that involves order. This helps with students who are learning English or students who are below grade level and need a little more help. It's extremely interactive and can be played and used multiple ways. Best of all - it's free and there are so many resources created for you. You can find so many resources based on any content and edit them as you see fit for your classroom.

What do you dislike?

I like to assign for homework, but haven't quite been able to figure out how to have students play multiple times for reinforcement. I would say that's not as user friendly as the program typically is. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This really is wonderful if you're looking for something new and exciting for your students. I would recommend beginning to use it as a review tool, but I've evolved into using it to start class discussions and even teaching new topics. There are a ton of helpful YouTube videos that give you different ways to use the program.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Kahoot is very engaging and interactive. I'm still reviewing and assessing students on what they've learned, but in a way that interests them and causes WAY LESS behavior problems. It also allows you to pull data and see which standards or areas you need to reteach without doing a ton of work.

"Great way to involve students in learning and reveiw"

What do you like best?

The students get really excited. I use Kahoot from 6th grade through college students. All of them name kahoot as a highlight of my lessons. If I put the same material on a multiple choice quiz they would complain but with Kahoot its a game. The music adds to the excitement. It's great for trick questions followed by a discussion of what they missed. for rote learning, ghost mode is great and the kids get really into beating their old score.

What do you dislike?

When I'm in spaces with less than stellar internet, the student devices can lag. If the students have to wait to enter their response it lowers their score and they get really frustrated. The font sizes can't be controlled by the user. That sometimes means I have to read the question to the students. The character limit is challenging sometimes. I get around it by adding an image with the text I need, but that's tedious.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use the public quizzes as a starting point. If your questions are over the character limit, use an image with text (text to image). Test it out the first few times, especially images. Kahoot can do funny things with image resolution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I'm getting students interested in learning or reviewing material that is tedious with other formats. It's clickers in a game format with whatever device the students already have.

"Awesome alternative to traditional quizzes"

What do you like best?

The students LOVE it. What was once boring--a quiz or review--is now exciting! Students look forward to doing kahoots and get excited whenever they hear that music play. It's pretty easy to set up a quiz and to play it or share it with other instructors.

What do you dislike?

The music, quite frankly, is obnoxious. There's also been times when I wished I could do more on the actual platform, like adding videos and more pictures to the individual question. Some of our classes deal with art, entertainment, and the like, and it would be nice to be able to use more media.

I also find it frustrating how limited the characters are when you are trying to write out a question and answer. Give us more characters!

Recommendations to others considering the product

Give it a try! For those who think this will only be fun for middle school or high school students, I can tell you from experience that college students and even adults love it as well!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have to have efficient ways to give quizzes and reviews to 100s of students at the time. We use to hand out quizzes, grade them individually, etc...it was such a hassle, especially because many of the assignments are graded for participation rather than for an actual grade.

"Student Engagement"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is a user friendly software that allows educators to create or search for review games/quizzes for all subjects and ability levels. I have used this in the high school and middle school math classroom to collect data, review for tests, and involve my students in their learning. Students are always actively engaged when playing kahoot and get very competitive. It motivates them to complete math problems correctly.

What do you dislike?

I would love to see Kahoot extend their time limits beyond 120 seconds. It's not always easy to limit students with math disabilities to 2 minutes for processing and answering a question. It limits me to what type of questions I can use.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's a quick and easy way to collect student data. I can go back and open up data from previous games and see how each student did individually. This allows me to record growth and target instruction for students.

"Kahoot!"

What do you like best?

I love that this is an interactive game that allow teachers to bring technology into the classroom. I love how easy it is to create questions, decide which type of answer choices you want to use and then an easy access code for students to play with.

What do you dislike?

I don't love that it doesn't allow for written responses but instead only multiple choice, or true/false. If they could have a few extra seconds to type in a response it could allow for creativity in using the game and for an overall different approach to quizzing them.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Incorporate this into daily classroom review sessions to create a little competition. Students can partner up or work individually.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Testing and acquiring knowledge that has been taught . A benefit of using Kahoot! is that it incorporates technology into the classroom and allows the students to engage in a different way than paper & pencil.

"Just plain fun!"

What do you like best?

The engagement factor and how it is adaptable inside the classroom. Students seem to love this program. Great for educational use as learning is becomes a game, and friendly competition among students pushes them to understand what the teacher is teaching. I think the ability to add images and Youtube videos to the Kahoots adds even more to the interactivity of the platform.

What do you dislike?

Not much honestly. I think Kahoot does everything they set out to do.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Try it out! Students seem to be drawn to Kahoot. It offers plenty of interaction and engagement within the classroom and among students. Use Kahoot as a formal assessment, as a check for understanding, to review before a test or quiz, as a fun do now, as an exit ticket, or allow students to create their own and share it out!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Student learning, student engagement, classroom interaction, studying, and playfulness. Kahoot makes it a fun way to review content before a test, check for understanding, or just make class fun for students. Since the ease of use is high, it also makes for a great way for students to review by creating their own Kahoots and sharing them with fellow students.

"Kahoot for Nursing Education"

What do you like best?

I like that Kahoot is free, easy to manipulate for the instructors who use it, has a friendly user-interface, and is easily accessible from student phones even if they don't bring their laptop to class. The students like that it is portable and that they can have interactive practice questions to prepare for their nursing boards.

What do you dislike?

I enjoy this software. My main problem is the word limit on questions---some practice questions require more context and I'd like to be able to provide a realistic question for students. It is troubling to shorten questions when I'm over the word limit and I have to pick and choose what contextual data to remove from the question.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think Kahoot is very easy to use as an instructor or a student. I have had no student complaints when using the software. I have not had personal experience with contacting customer service so I can't speak to the quality of support.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Many clicker based quiz programs for students in academic settings are expensive. Kahoot is free and solves this problem. It is also available for students to create quizzes in groups and test each other's nursing knowledge.

"In Kahoot!s with Fun Review Games"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is a great review game. You can make up a Kahoot yourself (very time consuming), base it on test questions (ideal), borrow from another teacher through the search feature, you can share them with your coworkers. Kahoot lets students use their smartphones which helps them engage.

What do you dislike?

I personally love the music on Kahoot but most people I know hate it. Additionally it is very limited in its scope allowing only multiple choice questions up to 4 answers.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't make a Kahoot! last minute, it's pretty time consuming. Set yourself aside Kahoot making time

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is both a great way to review with your students, a great way to monitor their understanding, and a great way to dole them out a few extra credit points

"Kahoot Review"

What do you like best?

I like that it gives students time to read the question and pick the correct answer. You are also able to have multiple choice questions to up the 4 answers. I also like how you are able to set it so that there is a possibility of having two correct answers. It makes my job really easy for personality development quizzes.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it takes too long to load or freezes on the device which defeats the purpose of a quiz, and it's no use at that time. Also, students are only able to see the symbols rather than the real options when answering making it difficult for them to answer correctly.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is the best software out there to make quizzes for classes. Must use the software.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use it at TCU career development center to help students with personality development questions and help them in their career or choosing their majors.

"Students BEG me to make Kahoot reviews for them!"

What do you like best?

I like that Kahoot allows me to essentially quiz my students and get immediate feedback on how well they are doing on a particular concept. The students like it best because it feels like a game and appeals to their competitive side.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the connectivity issues we sometimes experience. Whether on wifi or on data, students occasionally have trouble with the app and website going too slow and they miss out on answering their question, or they are penalized by the time.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are using kahoots that are already made, be sure to spend a few minutes looking at both the questions and answers as well as the time allotted for answering each question. Since the Kahoots are created by users, you'll want to verify the accuracy of the answers. Additionally, based on your students and their skill, you may want a longer (or shorter) amount of time for each question.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Kahoot is great for both allowing me to create my own games and for the ability to search what others have created as well. I had a review lesson planned one day but my students begged for kahoot and said how much they feel like they learn when we play that way. So, I searched on the spot for a kahoot on our topic.

"Kahoot! helps us interact with students in a presentation/ Workshop environment. "

What do you like best?

Helps students focus on the topic being discussed by providing the information in a game format. This allows students to see what knowledge they knew on the subject at hand and also providing them with new information they did not have prior knowledge on.

What do you dislike?

I sort of dislike the layout for the buttons used for answering the questions on the application that is downloaded to the phone. It is not a big issue, however I do find students tend to struggle from looking at the screen for the answers to looking on the phone to make sure they chose the right color and shape for the correct answer.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The business problems that are being solved by Kahoot! would be the amount of student interaction that we get. We also receive good feedback on our surveys by allowing students to learn more information in a different way. By using Kahoot! , our presentation is not just a boring presentation layout.

"Gamification for Education"

What do you like best?

This is an amazing tool to reinforce vocabulary and skills for my classroom. Students are always engaged, and literally beg to use this tool in class!

What do you dislike?

The performance with larger groups is unreliable sometimes, but that may have something to do with network reliability. Also, it's difficult to use it to instruct, but it's great for review.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have fun creating a quiz or activity! You can select more than one answer as correct, so it's possible to vary responses a bit. The survey feature is very interesting when it comes to student interests, particularly in my foreign language class! The new Jumble feature is fun, but isn't the most user friendly on a chrome book. It works great for iPads though!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's extremely hard to encourage kids to review vocabulary, but this allows them to practice without feeling like its work.

"Review for Kahoot"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is a very interactive website to ensure that you have retained the course content. Everyone loves competing to get the highest score which promotes quick learning. The kahoots are easy to create and there already are pre-existing good kahoot games that anyone can play.

What do you dislike?

I have dealt with a lot of glitches with Kahoot. The game would freeze at many points, and additionally, it is very limited in its scope allowing only multiple choice questions up to 4 answers.

Recommendations to others considering the product

What do you like best?

I love that Kahoot makes reviewing content fun for students! They get excited to play the Kahoot game and do their very best to solve problems correctly before their classmates to move forward in the ranks.

What do you dislike?

I do not like how often students get bumped out of the game. Upon rejoining the game they lose their status

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Students getting bumped out of the game is the only problem we have had with Kahoot. A benefit is the motivation it provides students for learning and reviewing.

What do you like best?

It is a fun multiple choice quiz game tool. I’ve used it many times with my students and they love it! It is easy to search for created quizzes.

What do you dislike?

It is cumbersome and time consuming to create a game from scratch. I would also like better image integration.

Recommendations to others considering the product

"One of our favorites! "

What do you like best?

Kahoot is so interactive and easy to use. It takes time to build your own and select all of the multiple choice options, adding graphics if you want... OR you can search for a pre-existing one or have the students make and share- just make sure you REVIEW & EDIT every answer before letting the class play. Kahoot provides standard music and graphics if you do not want to upload your own.

What do you dislike?

The music gets a little redundant. I do not find the format for adding and editing questions as easy and stream lined as it should be. The way the bottom bar allows you to toggle when editing questions is not user-friendly. I wish the questions went vertically when editing, and that you could see all at one time, almost like Quizlet does. This only lets you view one section at a time.

Recommendations to others considering the product

DO it! But not all the time. I alternate with other quizzing apps sure as Quizlet or Quizzez. If the students become regular users of Kahoot, like any game or reward, it looses its appeal. Keep it for special occasions or rewards.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This gives you a Google Sheet of data when you finish the set. From teh data you can see which was the most frequently missed question, or however you want to see the data. For business or education, it is a way to see what everyone was unanimous on, divided about, or set against, or even deceived.

"It destroyed my speech during company event !!!!"

What do you like best?

it is intuitive but risky, Do not rely on it if You organize an official event/training as this solution is not maintained properly and You do not want to rely on the live solution which can be disappointing.

What do you dislike?

I bought an access to the kahoot for commercial purposes. And it did not work properly on the conference. People have been connecting through their phones and many of them were not able to connect, sometimes only answers from few people have been counted. It was a disaster! You should not offer that for commercial purposes if this does not work with big groups of people, like 500 people. And do not blame internet: wifi was fine and event with 3G internet it was hanging. This is your kahoot website which is not adjusted to big traffic.

Recommendations to others considering the product

do not use kahoot for official events/trainings. Play with it in unformal situations.

"Kahoot: Making Multiple Choice More Accessible"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is wonderful tool for reviewing multiple-choice questions. It incites competition with its fast pace, fun music and bright colors. There are other options as well, such as a jumble and a survey, but I mostly use it to review multiple-choice questions. Students are held accountable because they can see their standing in the point total, and they achieve points for getting the answer right, for clicking quickly on the right answer, and for getting a number of right answers in a row. The time given to answer questions can be changed, and whether or not bonus points are given for each correct answer can also be changed.

What do you dislike?

It would be great if this worked with Google forms so that you could load in a Google form directly. It used to be difficult to copy and paste text into the questions, but now that has become easier. Additionally, adding pictures has become much easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I use fake names for my students so that they do not feel pressure of winning and get to pick a fun themed name. I also use kahoots to practice for tests and quizzes. When I use kahoots with adults, I have them use their real names to keep track of who is winning.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In giving presentations at conferences, I often use a kahoot to engage participants, testing on what we will cover and how much the participants know already, which is extremely helpful.

"Fun, fast, and Educational!"

What do you like best?

Kahoot is a fast way to hook your students and grab their attention. I use kahoot to introduce a new topic, practice a new concept, and review for a test. Kahoot offers more than just quizzes, they allow students to stop and think about a question or discussion point which is a great way to change up a lesson plan. Students can work by themselves or as teams to try and figure out the answer.

What do you dislike?

While there are many different options for creating questions, sometimes I wish there was a way to adjust all of the time settings at once instead of going through each question individually.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are looking for a fun alternative to traditional teaching then Kahoot is a sure fire way to bring excitement into your class.

Getting students to participate in the class can be challenging. This platform transforms lessons into interactive games that promote student engagement and learning.
