"Great solution for account prioritisation"

What do you like best?

LPI is an ideal partner for account prioritisation. They have an intuitive platform that makes model-building easy, connectors for Salesforce and Marketo that make operationalisation straightforward, and a vast data cloud that allows you to get rich insights and make the right decisions. The people I have worked with are also really helpful and knowledgeable.

What do you dislike?

As a Data Scientist, I would like a little more control over the features used in the model. I do understand that I'm not the typical user, though, and acknowledge that the LPI platform makes it easy for people without backgrounds in stats to build strong models.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you have decent data to build the models with, and a good idea of exactly what you want to achieve. This is probably pretty obvious, but if you have spotty data and no clear success criterion, you will not get very good results. This is true when building any models with any platforms, though—not just with Lattice!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Prioritising accounts, so that our sales teams spend time talking to customers who are genuinely likely to be interested in our product.

"Bringing Data Science and BI to Sales and Marketing"

What do you like best?

The Lattice Data Cloud takes the best in class vendors and provides us with the business intelligence that we don't have, and marries it with the data science from our ideal customer profiles to help us make sense of what accounts we should be prioritizing and why.

What do you dislike?

We need more time to prove out the effectiveness of the ratings - as they are built on a macro level, it's hard to tell any quick wins on conversion until enough time has passed.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As of the time of this review, Lattice appears to be the best in class vendor to provide business intelligence and predictive scoring on accounts.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to stack rank a number of target accounts that sales is pursuing, and marketing wants to be able to support sales by focusing on the ones that are most likely to convert. Initially, the biggest benefit is the access to quality firmographic and intent data that gives both sales and marketing visibility into the details of an account that we did not have previously.

"Best of Breed with even better Customer Success and Implementation Team"

What do you like best?

I think most predictive platforms are somewhat on par and it will depend on who performs the best in a bakeoff against your data, but Lattice has proven itself over the years to be the premium vendor in this space. We ran two tests among 6 vendors. Lattice was in the top 2 in both tests, and their standing in the community leads me to believe this is typically the case in other companies.

While that is reason enough to include them when searching for a tool, their Customer Success and Implementation team are incredible and make implementation fast, easy, and efficient.

Lastly, they are constantly improving and adding new features to help their customers.

What do you dislike?

One thing I dislike is that the initial model is solely based on demographic/firmagraphic scoring, with not focus on behavioral. That said, we are in the process of rolling out a behavioral piece to accompany this and the end result should be even better then if we combined the two into one score. Now, we'll have A-D for Demo/Firma and 1-4 for Behavioral so we'll be able to base our MQLs on a combination of the two fields.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Build a behavioral model at the same time as the demo/firm model.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Lead and Contact demographic, firmagraphic, and behavioral scoring for 3 main regions: EMEA, NORAM, and ROW. Account Scoring is next.

"Predictive Marketing To The Max"

What do you like best?

Not only does the product allow me to easily see the top attributes of each scoring model, enrich our database with relative attributes and have full flexibility to build our own models or customize the existing - the Lattice team is always available for support and brainstorming during the initial implementation and ongoing optimization.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the inability to use both Marketo and SFDC data in our model, but I understand the complications this entails and now know it's a challenge across the industry - not just for Lattice

Recommendations to others considering the product

For those of you looking at predictive scoring, I recommend you do the following before you evaluate a vendor or start implementation with Lattice Engines:

- Ensure you know what fields you'd like to incorporate in the model and their level of significance for your sales teams

- Understand what integration points are critical (marketing automation? SFDC?)

- Define the goal of the models --> are you looking to have higher conversions? accelerate time to closed-won deal?

- Ensure that lead scoring will help both sales and marketing goals

We started using Lattice Engines because we wanted to enhance our out-of-the-box scoring processes from Marketo to include more firmographic and person-level attributes and this evolved into predictive models broken out by revenue segment and customer type which allows our sales teams to find the leads most likely to convert to an opportunity, or even a closed-won deal. We have seen ROI compared to our standard MQLs and accelerated conversion rates for those scored higher based on Lattice Engines' criteria

"Predictive Insight into Target Accounts"

What do you like best?

Lattice has helped us translate complex data into a digestible format. They've enabled our sales team to be able to identify top prospect companies, leveraging all of the attributes we look for when defining Target Accounts. It's also helped our Marketing team where personalization is key. We leverage Lattice's technology solution data to craft highly personalized emails that resonate with prospects.

What do you dislike?

Not many negative comments - the Lattice UI could be a little more user-friendly and the sync to SFDC could be quicker when enabling new enrichment attributes (this may be an issue on our end due to our database size though).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Lattice for account and lead prioritization and target account sales and marketing efforts. We leverage the Lattice score to identify accounts that reps may not have marked themselves as targets, or may not be aware of in general. Lattice has also helped the Marketing side identify both leads and accounts worth pursuing and hitting with our programs.

"Lattice is great for data science"

What do you like best?

The Lattice Data Cloud provides high quality, curated attributes that significantly enhance the models that we can build in-house. We are able to provide more precise scores and new insights to our marketing and sales teams. Also, the platform is quick and easy-to-use, allowing the data science team to do quick iterations and prototyping.

What do you dislike?

It would be great if the scoring API could be used directly to score a high volume of leads.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you have: (1) a clear understanding of what you want to predict; (2) a good Salesforce setup that has the features you would like the model to consider; (3) a good workflow for tracking opportunities and conversions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to better target our outbound marketing and sales to sign-up more mid-market businesses, and we are reaching out to current customers that we predict are thinking of unsubscribing.

"Lattice helps us focus on the "A" leads"

What do you like best?

The excellent data cloud allows the model to score on hundreds of attributes without us having to pay to acquire all the data from separate vendors and manage data cleanliness for all of those attributes. Also being able to enrich our contact database as part of the fast scoring process allows us to improve our lead routing and gauge intent cost effectively. We have found that scored leads in our database in the top 3 deciles, on average, convert 3 times as much as leads in the bottom 7 deciles.

What do you dislike?

At this time I can't say I 'dislike' anything. There are past issues they have improved such as speeding the lead scoring and enrichment process to <5 minutes and expansion of the Account Technology ownership and intent data which have made me happy. The next area I look forward to in the future is increased automation of net new contact acquisition but that doesn't affect our primary use case of predictive lead scoring.

Lead scoring at a regional level. Enrichment of contacts with firmographic data and account intent and technology ownership which allows us to target accounts (ABM) based on their interest in our product areas and for targeting competitive vendors.

"Lattice Has Narrowed Our Focus"

What do you like best?

Lattice has a strong team of customer success and analytics experts. They've worked with us to understand our data. They've helped to adjust our models to meet new business needs. They'll work with historic data but can also incorporate targeted data based off business objectives.

What do you dislike?

It takes a little bit to get a model created, but the models seem to be pretty accurate and data-driven.

We've implemented an ABM strategy and need help identifying accounts that makes sense for our business based off past successes as a well as future objectives. Lattice has helped us determine these accounts. We're also planning on setting up parallel lead scoring to help prioritize leads.

"Lattice does predictive right"

What do you like best?

Lattice has helped make our sales and marketing activities so much more efficient because now we know who we should be focusing our largest efforts on. Their problem handles our scale and velocity very well. I’m also very pleased with their team – they’ve been very responsive to our needs and have brought creative ways to help solve our unique problems.

What do you dislike?

It took us a while to understand all of the different areas where we can use the Lattice scores and insights. The predictive modeling piece used to be pretty much a “black box” but this has improved with their latest software.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We wanted to improve our enterprise sales, and needed a way to sort through the thousands of freemium leads to understand which were good prospects for our marketing managers to reach out to. We’re continuing to find new ways to use their insights for marketing and sales.

"More accounts for sales, better informed scoring, yielding more effective campaigns"

What do you like best?

Lattice shows the attributes that make up each account's score. The predictive intelligence we get isn't closed to our visibility. I love that we get additional enrichments such that the types of technologies in use at an account. This data is exposed in Salesforce and our SDR + AE team loves it.

What do you dislike?

It took us a few tries working with their data science team before we landed on the right scoring model. I'm just glad they worked with us until we got it right.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Get sales and marketing objectives aligned first. Having our sales team involved before we bought Lattice made our implementation and rollout much smoother.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We operate account based marketing campaigns that are aligned with our sales team's target account list. The problem was that this list was limited to only accounts we were able to identify based on what we thought we knew about our customers. This resulted in a large list of targets, but not all of them were necessarily well qualified. Lattice analyzed our pipeline data (including wins and losses) to create our predictive account scoring model which has enabled us to expand our target account list with new, previously unidentified accounts, and it has narrowed our target account list to those with the highest propensity to close.

As a result, we are now able to:

-Focus outbound prospecting energies on the accounts most likely to close

-Run well coordinated advertising campaigns against the same accounts

-Score inbound leads that we match to an accounts with the account's Lattice Grade

-Build more trust with the sales organization by enabling them to win more deals faster

"Fantastic product, Superior service "

What do you like best?

The thing that separates companies from one another, is how well they treat their clients. Throughout our journey with Lattice thus far they have been with us every step of the way, regardless of how big or small the issue, specially when building out our models. Working with them feels more like a partnership.

What do you dislike?

With every product there are ups and downs. Starting out using Lattice, I would say there was a small learning curve for me in terms of understanding and navigating the platform.

"Lattice helps me select the best accounts to advertise to"

What do you like best?

The best part of Lattice is how it combines so many pieces of data to reach an outcome that you would never arrive at on your own. The account intelligence Lattice provides using reputable data sources is huge when it comes to making targeted campaigns.

What do you dislike?

You must have a high degree of confidence that the outcomes of the models are correct. All of the inputs instinctively make sense but the exact effectiveness or lift will take some time to realize...although early signs are positive.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Lattice Engines has many use cases relevant to many different teams within sales and marketing. After the initial implementation, there are a lot of possibilities for further adoption. I am not aware of another vendor that has such robust account information and advanced prediction models.

"One step further in predictive world"

What do you like best?

I just like the whole concept. Data is like oil, to get something out of it it needs to be refined before you extract from it the best. This is exactly the same thing with your data.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes you might feel the "refine" step is a bit of a black box, and you don't really understand parameters and elements that have been used to determine the "predictors", but it's less and less the case now with the online platform.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Going through a "out of the box lead scoring" is super easy, understand by that some bad contacts are coming to pollute your flow of good leads. By leveraging the predictive analytics platform we go beyond just the information we just collected or have already, we place this lead on a scale of more than 000's elements where it's basically impossible to go anywhere if you are not who you pretend to say.

"Predictive on the next level"

What do you like best?

I have a full transparency of the predictive models, we know all the data points. We can build models on our own that can we operationalized in hours and not months. We can adjust our own models based on the results that we are getting. Easy integration with Salesforce and Marketo.

What do you dislike?

I want them to have more reporting inside Lattice application. We currently use Salesforce or Lattice account management team for that. Easier way to access reporting is always better.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Lattice is helping us with our lead and account scoring. We can identify top leads/accounts and focus on them with our marketing and sales efforts.

"UI is Neat and Clean"

What do you like best?

The dashboard gives clear signals on the scoring of our accounts and it is easy to drill into what is giving the score. It is also very easy to do exports, to do one offs, and ad hoc analysis.

What do you dislike?

I wish that we could drill down even further into what attributes are making up a score and be able to export that data. I understand that it is based off machine learning and such, but even further explanation of scores would be helpful. Also, a huge pain was only being able to have 20 attributes "enhanced" at a time.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Overall a great product, and got us what we needed. As some of our product lines are immature, it wasn't a perfect fit, but it was very useful for our full product lines.

"Marketing Ops"

What do you like best?

The model is very flexible that allows us to customize based on our business model. To make the scoring more effective and straightforward to sales reps, we want to show only 1 score which includes infographic score and engagement score. We also have a specific request to exclude some leads from scoring. Lattice help us to accomplish these requests and the customer service and tech support are great.

What do you dislike?

We had a couple bug issues. Not completely Lattice's issue. Some of them are actually Salesforce bugs. I wish Lattice could be on top of those and fix before the customer encounters in their instances.

Lattice Engines helps us to prioritize leads for inside sales team to call down and also provides us a good view of what kind of leads we're getting.

"I have been using Lattice Engines for 1 year and am pleased with the product."

What do you like best?

I like the ability to run multiple scenarios with Lattice engines. I can tweak the data set, inputs, and scenarios to get the predictability that I need. The outputs are clear and give me valuable insights to my business.

What do you dislike?

The pricing model is a bit awkward. Would enjoy an unlimited model or something that's a bit more flexible.

"Predictive Scoring for Marketing and Beyond"

What do you like best?

The Lattice Team is great to work with -- our account team has jumped on every question and request right away. We've had Lattice execs come for site visits as well. We've seen continuous improvement in our implementation as we've gone along. We have different models for different GEOs and segments which helps customize scoring.

What do you dislike?

The premise of predictive lead scoring can be hard to sell internally, you definitely need to have executive/stakeholder buy-in before bringing a tool like this in. Also, you must be able to show continuous improvement data (and know how to speak to it).

The Lattice team loves feedback -- they've already incorporated a ton of our suggestions in the year we've been working together.

"Lattice is an essential business tool."

What do you like best?

Lattice has been hugely helpful to our team. They have a great onboarding and customer service team that has been helpful at every step of the way. The interface is intuitive and easy to use and walk through with management and executives that aren't familiar with the tool.

What do you dislike?

I have no major complaints about Lattice. A greater value in integrating with MAP might be interesting.

"Great Product"

What do you like best?

Lattice engines is a super clean, easy to use product, that has allowed us to aggregate large sets of data and simplify into understanding our ideal customer base

I would like the ability to dive deeper in to the account scoring as well as more transparency around how accounts are being scored.

"Expanded Target Lists, Increased visibility, committed team"

What do you like best?

Lattice has helped us more than triple our target account list with their predictive scoring model and list appending services. Our SDRs love being able to use the data Lattice provides to have deeper conversations with prospects they cold call.

I also found their team to be very responsive – they were truly committed to helping us succeed. Our CSM has been hands-on in helping us get buy-in from sales, get started with predictive and support us through implementation.

Our visibility into the different components of the scoring models, and ability to adjust the weights of the different attributes to our choosing is unique among the different products we considered. It gives us more control and confidence in the resulting data.

What do you dislike?

We've uncovered a few errors in the data sets and UI, but ultimately Lattice has been quick to respond and correct. I'm also doubtful we would have had the visibility needed to uncover errors like this in competing products.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Align with your sales team before you ever purchase. We had our sales team involved from the very start so they were bought in on the concept of predictive, which made our implementation process much smoother.

"Great Client Support, Awesome Product"

What do you like best?

Our reps are very pleasant to work with and has been extremely responsive with of our needs. Kept us updated through out the entire launch and was never hesitant to jump on a call.

What do you dislike?

UI took a little effort to navigate through and understand, but our CSM has been helpful in addressing that area.

We use Lattice to prioritize our best-fit accounts, drive more effective targeting for territory planning with our sales team and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing programs.

What do you like best?

Willing to work with their users and provide support for the tool but the explanation as to what their tool is doing is very limited.

"Lattice helps us prioritize which leads and accounts to follow-up on"

What do you like best?

With Lattice we can identify and prioritize which inbound leads to follow-up on. We can also prioritize accounts for outbound purposes. The Lattice team is great to engage with as well – I found them very responsive and brought some great ideas to making our predictive analytics program a success.

What do you dislike?

Not much to dislike, however, a SFDC widget integration for Sales would help.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been using Lattice to prioritize our leads on a firmographic level. Not every lead is a good lead, and sometimes the good ones are hidden. Lattice as really helped identify leads worth pursuing.

"Lattice helps us prioritize multiple product lines"

What do you like best?

We rolled out our UKI deployment in a few weeks and saw such great results that it convinced our US division to start deploying the product as well. We also like the enterprise scale of the solution – it has a wide breadth of data and the robust security we need.

What do you dislike?

It mostly had to do with our ability to provide the Lattice team with appropriate volume of data samples that are needed to build quality models.

We needed to prioritize which accounts our marketing and sales teams targeted for multiple business segments for products such as Sage Live and Sage One. "Hands on predictive marketing and more"

What do you like best?

Lattice Engines biggest differentiator is their people and how much they help you from beginning to end.

What do you dislike?

Some of their tech needs some newer features but I’ve seen some of the beads and it is all on the way. Typical first/largest part of the market issue. They may not have the latest gimmick feature until it’s better understood for customer ROI.

"Lattice is a tool with lots of potential"

What do you like best?

Salespeople find the application easy to use. Everyone who I have had contact with at Lattice seems genuinely interested in customer success and works hard to accommodate their customers' requests.

What do you dislike?

Dislike that data has to be imported into the proprietary Lattice database and while the ability to export data out of it does exist, it needs to be done individually for each of the Lattice "plays." Would prefer to have the records "scored" and then have the ability to have the score sent back into our CRM and/or Marketing Automation database.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Ensure that you have executive sponsorship and business stakeholders identified before implementing Lattice Engines. All projects need this for success, but it is especially true for this type of product.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Solving the problem that despite having lots of data on existing and potential clients, unable to prioritize who are the best people to call, and for which product. In the early stages of using the product, so too early to tell what the business results will be, but this is certainly a product with great potential.

"Lattice has been great!"

What do you like best?

So far, working with Lattice has been a great experience. From our sales rep to our account manager, they have been accommodating and patient as we work towards rolling out the solution.

What do you dislike?

The only negative comment would be that they need to be a bit more flexible with their UI.

Lattice is going to be used for analytics, helping identify and qualify our clients.

"Great tool but strange pricing model"

What do you like best?

UX, outputs were great and the dashboards are nice.

What do you dislike?

The pricing model is very awkward and wish more was included for the cost.

"Great way to translate our own data!"

What do you like best?

We use Lattice to kind of "transform" a lot of data into "edible" information for sales reps. It's usually quite hard and takes a lot of work to consolidate data such as installed base information, current support situation, licenses and part numbers and come up with a sort of analysis for a sales rep to understand the potential a specific customer has. Lattice did that for us.

What do you dislike?

Information tended to be kind of static. The idea of the front end is that if you update the info it will show up right, but some charts wouldn't update. They fixed that for us.
