It's very highly recommended for EduTech companies & works well for other B2B companies too. Leads from all the sources can pour into the CRM with direct integrations or Zapier or API integrations. Marketing Automation plan is the most recommended plan. Just care to see/enquire if integrations with your third party apps for payment, accounting etc... are offered.
It enables collection of leads from almost all the sources (mostly directly) incl. Sulekha, Justdial, UrbanPro, Exotel etc... apart from the common lead sources like Facebook, PPC (Adwords), Twitter, Website, landing pages etc... This helped dynamic aggregation of all leads at once place, measure the effective of campaigns from multiple sources across various mediums & in further engagement of these leads.

Also worth noting is the free CRM system that comes with it. It is very nice and keeps up to date with all my leads. It even integrates with Gmail so all emails are synced into the CRM.
The landing pages come with some really nice templates so you can be up and running in no time. I would have liked it if they had the ability to send rss emails but I hear that feature is in the pipeline.

They are beautifully written and test out the services on your own as most of the customization has to be done by Administrator so that they should know the product thoroughly. In case of query, shooting a mail or chat with support helps a lot. It's expensive where the number of leads are quite high, so you need to take the call based on your requirements.
Marketing automation for all our seekers and controlling leakage for our leads. Our channels for acquiring customers are not just online and before we setup LeadSquared, there was a lot of leakage in fetching all the leads on one portal and engaging with the customers. We have drastically improved our leakage in 6 major channels with present leakage less than 1%. We were able to achieve it through API integration or Zapier integration for those channels.
Major benefit has been standardization of our communication to customers and minimal leakage of less than 1%.

For the price i would like to be able to have a few more options like creating reminders and invoices as well as a way to mass communicate information in groups.

The user interface could be a bit more modern. This is not a problem for me, but for our sales who is not used to using this kinds of software. As a technology orientated geeky guy, the interface works for me.
The email campaign creation is a bit too technical as it basically demands that you understand HTML so you can modify your something else than text and images from your emails.
If your marketing team can handle HTML and are otherwise tech-savvy, you should not have problems using Leadsquared.
Landing page management is easy as you have set up your templates.
Lead tracking is good and the people at Leadsquared are really helpful and reply pretty quickly. Leadsquared is developing all the time and they take customer feedback seriously.
Originally were trying to get more tracking and personalization to our email marketing. We used Mailchimp before and it had its limits. I was blown away what Leadsquared could offer to us.
On top of personalizing email marketing with any criteria, I can manage my landing pages and get really good information to our sales about our leads.
Building automation workflows is also possible, although I haven't set those up quite yet.

- Possibility to use our own design for email and landing pages: all seamlessly integrated with the Leadsquared functionality in the background.
- Simplicity of lead list management + individual emailing. Effectively, the system works now as our CRM: we moved away from SalesForce and use this instead. If your usage of SalesForce functionality is "basic", you can consider the alternative of only having Leadsquared: you would have a CRM and marketing automation on one system. Way simpler + the sales team love it: saves time = more calls. (Disclaimer: we run a native website system that can do billing - so you would still need that functionality separately.)
- Once the prospect clicks on an email link, his browsing history on our website is links automatically to Leadsquared. This applies also retroactively - even for activities that happened before clicking the email links. So when our sales team start a conversation with a prospect, they know exactly the professional interests of the user. We sell professional content subscriptions for our website, so this functionality is really key.
- Above all - professional and flexible team at LeadSquared that really reacts to our needs!
What could be improved:
- Leadsquared is for individual leads, i.e. people. If you have company accounts (which we do) and want to use this for CRM functionality, then tracking accounts is a bit more difficult. Doable (we have done this), but more difficult.
- No API integration with SalesForce. When moving from SalesForce which we pretty much had to move our database manually. But that was a good exercise for cleaning up the database.
- Some graphic output, such as click/open pie charts misrepresent data. Easy fix, I guess, but needs to be done :)
Marketing automation for a professional content website that sells subscription. We have implemented some functionalities and are still exploring other, but what we have done so far has proven effective. Using this for 6 months now - mainly email campaigns and landing pages. In addition to marketing automation, we've moved away from SalesForce completely + use this as main CRM in parallel to our native website system.
The gamut of features, reports and level of customisation which can be done is a great advantage. Their native integrations with some of their other tools we use too make it easy to collect and make sure data is present in one CRM. Their support is fast and good too!
The occasional downtime and the UI at some places. One needs to be trained on how / what to use which I guess happens with most feature rich CRMs though.

There is very little that I dislike about Leadsquared. I guess I would say that some of the design tools are a little less intuitive than others and it may take me awhile to figure out what I need.
There have been many instances where I have been asked to send out a campaign with little time to prepare. By being able to follow each step that is automatic in the workflow process I am easily able to produce that which is needed and send it out into Social and other Networks. My time is very precious to me, as I have little of it. Leadsquared helps me leverage it optimally.

The support team - they never disappoint. My experience with other LMS we trialed was that they were not able to support the product well. Here the support team is always very prompt in helping and solutions are arrived at pretty quickly and efficiently. Customisations requested, though nominally charged, have been executed promptly and efficiently. There is never an issue too small for them to have a look into. I also love the fact that I can use them as a sounding board for my online marketing ideas and they have always given me great advise - especially Nilesh.
There is really not much to hate about the product. They keep evolving every month so if I ever have felt I needed something added to the software Ii am usually surprised to hear that it possibly is in the pipeline. So all in all I really don't have any major complaints.
If i am forced to nitpick a nagative i would say they possibly could improve the role assignment for different users - maybe allow the admin to customise the access rights per user rather than be forced to use one of the pre-configured profiles.

PRICING IS TOO HIGH
Well as I said. If results means anything to you - come to leadsquared. I was looking for Marketing Automation, Lead Generation and Website Tracking. But I got a huge bonus of having CRM features like Task Reminders, Notes to leads and user assignments. Great combination. Saved another spending on CRM and Saved Lot and Lot of Time
1. Admin can set scores for leads, and then send auto email to them. Also we can easy track the leads behaviors on our website.
2. So easy to set top banner, drive leads attention.
3. Build landing page very user friendly, can set many kinds of forms.
Because we are based in Hong Kong, so suggest Leadsquared may add more languages to fulfill more business needs.
We wanted to find a tool that can capture users' information, thus we know what kind of people visit our website and interest to which kind of pages.
Then, we compared some marketing automation tools. Finally, decided to use leadsquared, because its function fulfill our business.
Now, we can say, it really bring many leads everyday, and we know their behaviors, and auto send related email to different leads in different stages.
At my previous firm, we were looking for a good email marketing tool with some advanced functions like lead-scoring, without requiring too much html/tech know-how to operate on. The requirement was a learning from using another software that had a whole suite of marketing automation tools, but required constant tinkering to work with. This simply wasn't a sustainable option, because as a start-up we had to be nimble and that meant saving time wherever we could.
Leadsquared got suggested in our discussions, and we did a thorough 15 day evaluation and eventually decided that it was just what we needed.
What I like best about leadsquared - pre-built templates, a responsive LP editor that makes building LPs a breeze and a very helpful support team! The best part is, as a client I always felt I was working with people, who are there to solve my business problem and not just with a tool.
As a relatively new kid on the block, there are some bugs that crop up. But I'd not hold it against them. It's an iterative process where the client and the vendor work together to make things better and arrive at a win-win.
For us LeadSquared had to do three things - email send, email and LP creation and Lists organization. The tool does this pretty well, with an easy to use interface and dashboard for reporting. But apparently, the tool supports more functions like CRM, but we never used it, because we already had a dedicated CRM software for that purpose.
If you are looking for a budget, easy to use email marketing software you are good to go with LeadSquared. If you are looking for a perfect tool, LeadSquared probably isn't it. Not yet. But as a happy customer I have reason to believe they are on their way. Their support makes up for the imperfections.
Email send had to become faster, with good list organization functionality.
LPs had to be designed faster, with good aesthetics
Needed lightning quick support to iron out the inevitable little issues that crop up while executing campaigns.
1) Update multiple leads using minimum number of clicks translating to less time for updates
2) Ability to connect with the company/team directly to resolve bugs recorded during usage
1) Conditional dependency between fields of a Lead - Crucial
2) Mobile Apps - Need to be faster and provide more essential information (For e.g. iOS App does not show activitiy log)
Business problem being solved (the obvious) - Lead Management - Creating a Single source of Truth for all leads generated for and by the company
Benefits:
1) Migration of crutial lead information from freely editable Google spreadsheet to access based online platform
2) Ability to generate timely reports and analytics to help improve conversion ratios
- Simple to use it is easy to see new leads and track them through the sales process.
- The support is outstanding, any questions are answered in good time and any features we have requested to be incorporated into Leadsquared have either been actioned or are being considered. If they cannot do something we request they suggest alternative ways around the problem. This is a rapidly evolving product and I feel they are up there in terms of features with the market leaders.
- The ability to score leads and have an engagement score is a great feature, helping us to identify leads that will potentially convert faster.
I don't feel there is anything I dislike, only a few features I would like to see added but I am confident leadsquared will work on this and we shall see them available in the future.
- It would be nice for the sales team to get an email alert or notification in leadsquared when a new lead is assigned to them
- I would prefer to create a tracking url for a specific landing page directly on the landing page (e.g. use the same form but a different link for twitter, facebook, LinkedIn etc.) rather than having to go through the settings.
- It would be useful to be able to create folders for landing pages and email campaigns so that they could be filed and you don't see so many on one page
I highly recommend this product, after using other marketing automation software systems this one is much better and the price you pay is outstanding value for money in comparison.
Previous to using leadsquared we had no way of tracking leads and often they weren't followed up within a reasonable time, potentially losing us business. Now we are able to track leads, easily share the information between colleagues and follow them up in a timely manner. It has made our sales team more efficient allowing them to focus their time on the more promising leads as well.
I like the many dynamic options they have to do anything possible with the leads.I can do any automation as i wish and I can track everything that a visitor is doing.
They need to decrease the pricing because there pricing in not suitable to very small scale business and this would increase their customers
They do not have these many dyanamic options I guess.So better try to put them in their tools.
I am able fill every details of leads and send emails , SMS automatically by using automation.I could capture leads very easy using landing pages.
We started using leadsquared 2 months back and we are fully satisfied with the support from Leadsquared team. We faced challenges in teaching sales team to use Leadsquared in initial days, but the effort was worth and now its getting in right shape. We used Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc. before but I feel these are complicated softwares and doesn't really suit to startups or SME's like us. We need a lighter and user friendly versions and Leadsquared is perfect for the same. I highly recommend to try this tool for managing leads.

The software do have some limitations in modification of a few features but I guess that's manageable with minor tweaking in the process. We didn't faced any major challenge as of now.
We are in B2B business of gifting and we use to manage our leads - Existing and Probable ones.
It's really cost effective and works well for our small business clients. And it's super easy to use, very simple interface that doesn't complicate simple processes.
There was nothing that I disliked. It's super easy to use.
It's great for having landing pages, drip campaigns, and all your lead nurture insights in one place for a low cost.
Their software is a class apart, but that's not the best part about them. Its the client support and their willingness to go that extra mile to help their clients that gets them a 10* rating. We have been using the software for atleast two years now and its an integral part of our online marketing now.
Really nothing. My only suggestion would be to have more and more apps in their apps market place.

The UI is very intuitive. Needs very little guidance.
They have great APIs to integrate with any other software you may be using.
They are not focusing on B2B and eCommerce businesses as of now. I hope they do that soon.
They don't have a way to automatically deduct payment month-on-month from my credit card.
Its a great product and very optimally priced. I strongly recommend this product.
If you are like me, you may have concerns about the quality of their email delivery. My experience has been fantastic and I can assure you that you can put those concerns to rest.
We are able to engage our customers through emails that are relevant, instead of flooding everybody's inbox with the same messages. There are multiple triggers and data points to design who gets what emails, which is very helpful in making our email more conversational instead of just plain promotional.
Leadsquared has always gone the extra mile to provide great customer support. As an agency we feel our feature requests have been understood and, mostly, delivered!
The product has been evolving continuously and adding new ways to capture leads, helping us expand our scope of measurable service offerings.
Lead Scoring is a great feature. It's helped us identify leads that convert faster, and that has really given confidence to our team and impressed our clients.
Given the number of features, there is a learning curve involved for one to really make full use of the product. It can be overwhelming for our new joinees.
We often use AB testing on our landing pages and we continue to use other software over leadsquared because this feature does not exist in the product.

Great marketing automation tool that provides exceptional value at its price. Personally, before opting for Leadsquared, I trialed almost every lead management tool in the market & this proved the most exceptional.
Offline & Online Lead aggregation:
Landing pages are a great way to integrate online leads while the MARKCOPY email id is a great tool to capture all offline leads. This feature infact has seamlessly helped the sales team sync their offline leads.
Increased Sales response time:
The auto-responders & email library are working wonders in communicating in real time with our prospects. Lead response time has significantly been reduced. Since the number of mails that the sales team personalizes are reduced it gives them more time to focus on one-one telephonic conversations which has resulted in increased conversions.
