"Experienced User"

What do you like best?

The effectiveness of the matching process and the hundreds of integrations. The platform allows us to set up all of our first party data integrations via a single on boarding platform, our automated uploads are easily managed. The underlying infrastructure of the the system is very fast and has enormous capacity.

What do you dislike?

The interface is designed to accommodate a wide range of access devices from smartphones to desktop. On a desktop the result is a low density of information. It might be helpful to have a desktop view with a more comprehensive "pro user view"to allow an expert user do everything with an audience all within a single screen.

Plan each data set carefully to maximize the utility of each field. Create consistency across taxonomies.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our first party data is made available to our agencies via a single controlled access point that is secured and minimizes the exposure of PII data outside of our systems. We are also using some data sets that are returned to our anonymized analytics database for attribution analysis.

"Lots of great products but costly and manual"

What do you like best?

LIveramp offers lots of solutions like CRM onboarding, data store, etc. They are the only ones in market that I know of that let your clients upload CRM data without additional contracts with the client. They also have a great variety of profiles within their data store and their search tool works better than most DMP-type data stores I have used.

What do you dislike?

Their products come with a high price tag and can be really manual. Processes are not always clear on how to push data to other DSPs and it requires a lot of emails back and forth.

CRM onboarding for our clients, targeting solutions like the data store and receiving first party segments from clients

"LiveRamp's provides the best tech for CRM onboarding & B2B advertising"

What do you like best?

LiveRamp makes it easy to onboard offline CRM data, they have a business unit focused on providing B2B programmatic solutions, and they always deliver great customer support.

What do you dislike?

I have no complaints! LiveRamp does a great job improving their products.

"IdentityLink for Measurement"

What do you like best?

I like that it takes PII / Device IDs / Cookies and resolves them to a single ID. This helps us link online exposure data to offline transactions. We have been able to measure incremental lift on a variety of campaigns.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes PII / Device IDs / cookies might match to multiple IdentityLinks; however, LiveRamp only appends one seemingly random IdentityLink. If LiveRamp matches the exposure to one IdentityLink and the transaction to a different IdentityLink, this causes an unnecessary drop off.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using IdentityLink to help us find the incremental sales driven by marketing campaigns. Once we have significant results that prove whether or not a campaign/channel was incremental, we can shift budget towards that channel accordingly.

Liveramp is always bringing us new ideas and integrations for a first-to-market opportunity. They prioritize our relationship so that we can be on the cutting edge of technology

They tend to try to always sell us something extra and are open to price negotiation on their core services

"Early stages, going well"

What do you like best?

I really appreciate the variety and number of partners and ID spaces that we are able to access. The linking capabilities help us onboard 1 identity space and leverage the cross device matching to help improve social match rates.

What do you dislike?

Cost is a concern, and it is very frustrating to not be able to quickly see and determine usage costs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Onboarding CRM data and linking across new profiles for better targeting and suppression. Ease of testing 1st party data with new media partners. Passing cookies, MAIDS, and CRM across partners to move data for analytics and targeting.

"Liveramp is a must use for offline KPIs"

What do you like best?

Easiest and best way to take our offline data and activate it against online audiences

What do you dislike?

Not much to dislike, support is great UI is easy and product works. Love to maybe understand deterministic vs probabilistic match rates

Attribution has been our focus with Liveramp as our main KPIs are from a call center

"LiveRamp for CRM Onboarding"

What do you like best?

The CRM record to device match (B2C). Integrations with all major DSPs, DMPs, Social channels, and walled gardens. Ease of use of the Connect UI.

What do you dislike?

Limited capabilities in APAC and LATAM. The B2B match rates range from 30-40% compared to B2C, which is over 70%.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Deliver an omnichannel customer experience across offline and online marketing touch-points.

LiveRamp gives us the ability to easily onboard our CRM records and target segments across display, video, CTV, social, search and radio. We also are able to suppress recent purchasers, which reduces media waste.

"Simple Onboarding"

What do you like best?

How easy it is to just upload a CRM list into the system & see the audience within Facebook instantly.

What do you dislike?

Wish you could segment audiences right in the system with an added column of data in the same file so you don't have to upload multiple times.

Targeting the right people on Facebook & Instagram; using CRM lists has helped us save money by only reaching those we really think will purchase

What do you like best?

The LiveRamp customer service, problem solving and integration makes for a winning combination.

What do you dislike?

Due to internal budget constraints I am only able to upload a certain amount of records.

Involve multiple teams early, especially Legal.

We are acquiring new customers, so we have been able to suppress our 1st party data and build look-a-likes across our media buy.
