"Good, Clean Software"

What do you like best?

Ease of use, and simple user experience.

What do you dislike?

The software back-end is a little young, not very configurable for a customer admin or for Lumity's implementation staff.

Adjusting the plan display configuration within the end-user experience, for example, requires code-level changes most of the time. That's risky during Open Enrollment. For example, your plan deductible isn't displaying properly on Day 1; employees lose confidence and get worried quickly, but it takes a software developer to fix it. Precious confidence in the company and Lumity can be lost in that matter of time.

This increases the importance for workflow and end-user acceptance testing during implementation, because once you're live, if something isn't displaying correctly...it takes a developer to change it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Improved employee satisfaction and confidence in company benefits, that's the biggest one. While we are a Lumity client, we are also a software company ourselves; our team has a high bar for a software-based product as it relates to something as important as enrolling in their benefits.

"Amazing team providing outstanding service!"

What do you like best?

This is my first experience working with brokers for our business, I was as green as it's possible to be. But my goodness, ever since we moved over to Lumity, I have learned SO much about benefits and insurance--including all the laws and regulations that go into it and this is entirely because the team behind my account is the absolute best in the industry. I'm sure their entire team is phenomenal, but Yuliya and Aimee have been total rockstars. They are super fast to reply to emails, whenever I speak to them I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, I am receiving accurate, succinct, and competent answers to my questions or concern

What do you dislike?

Platform UI/UX feels a little dated. Their portal could use some sprucing up.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Everything from enrollment, package selection, account management, brokerage services--everything.

"Great experience allowing us to outsource a lot of the admin necessities of benefits administration "

What do you like best?

We are huge fans of the Lumity portal because it is very easy to understand and navigate. It is the quickest solution for us to point to when any of our employees are looking for their personal benefits information.

What do you dislike?

The one issue we run into with our staff is having to outsource to another site to control our commuter benefits. Many of the employees can't remember the name or their log in and it would be helpful if Lumity controlled all of that or had direct links to navigate elsewhere.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have eliminated the need to have one singular person spend multiple hours on benefits administration. This has allowed us to focus on greater areas of the business, while still having Lumity to keep us up to date on market trends of benefits.

"Easy and painless"

What do you like best?

That Lumity provides all of the information employees need when they are trying to make a decision about benefits and also they are available to answer any questions.

What do you dislike?

The automated reminders that go out to every employee regardless if they enrolled already, it confuses them. Find a way to send reminders only to employees who are incomplete.

Its great to help you keep track of your employees benefits and who has signed up and vice versa.

"Easy and efficient way to enroll and administer benefits "

What do you like best?

Ease of the Lumity portal and direct access to experts

What do you dislike?

On occasion we don't have the information from the employee prior to their start date that delayed benefits administration

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're struggled a bit to facilitate additional benefits, such as commuter with Navia, but we have greatly improved that with our reps
