"Best option for old (or weak) hardware"

What do you like best?

Without any doubt, this is the faster linux distribution. Is is perfect to use on old machines or if you want extreme speed on newer machines. I've tried both Lubuntu and LXLE, because both distros uses LXDE and are designed to be used on old machines. After some specific performance tests, I've found that LXLE was better for my specific use case.

What do you dislike?

The price to speed is the quality of the graphic interface. It is extremely simple, if you care about window effects or beauty on your graphical interface, this is not for you.

I found that the distro size is too big, Last time I've downloaded it, it had more than 1.2GB. I think that the LXLE team could improve it by removing unnecessary apps. Another option would be offer a clear distro, without any app.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you care about window effects or beauty on your graphical interface, this is not for you. However, if you don't care about graphics but care about performance, this is the perfect distro for you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've helped to create a computer lab on my old school. The school is public, and all of the computers were donated. Some computers were very old, so after a little research, I found LXLE and opted to use it. Definitely, it was the right choice. As I said, the result was better, even than Lubuntu.

Just to be clear in my review, I don't use LXLE on my personal machine. I've used it on the computer lab project I've said (because of that, I don't have a screenshot here).
