"Very dependable lead scoring product"

What do you like best?

We have used this product in our driving regional sales on multiple enterprise product lines. Very simple and effective lead scoring, prioritization and orchestration product sometimes we have been able to get almost 70-80% correct results from the scores and intent determined by the product.

It is also easy to remodel when you are introducing a new product or geography, seems to me that this is how lead scoring should work actually.

What do you dislike?

Very limited targeting related features available in the product. The intent provided is then passed to marketing but some recurring tasks have to be performed before it can be directly used in email campaigns. Overall a very solid product but the offering needs to mature.

"predictive solution for identifying cross sell priority accounts"

What do you like best?

We have implemented a custom instance of the product into our internal servers and so far the progress has been good. The flexibility shown by the team in understand our requirements and building views that can help us with the use case is great. Overall the efficiency of predictions has been satisfactory.

The scores have been predictable, and the models are growing in confidence levels as opportunities mature and more and more behavior is aggregated.

The product works well with intent by bringing together multiple dimensions into a single form attributing a lift. This is helpful as we look to directly incorporate this data into our sales and marketing funnels.

Enrichment fields are helping for internal BI on priority accounts

What do you dislike?

The product is early stage, the team needs to be build more maturity to serve complex organizations. Also, better UI and certain peripheral defects cropping up here and there need to be taken care of before the product is a runaway success

Product is simple but takes time for the entire value proposition to be quantified and available hence this will not be a quick fix if that is what you are expecting.

"Customizable lead prioritization solution"

What do you like best?

We have been piloting maroon as part of the overall recommendation insights platform we are building at AWS. Very good algorithms, some of the best I have used, they have been able to condense real buyer context through massive word churning algorithms and locate intent in the best way possible. Predictions are dependable, and insights have worked for us for the most part. The product is compatible with Infosec and has been native integrated with our SFDC instance create an single sign on functionality.

The scoring methodology which allows us to customize accounts on bands or scores is good. We can set our tolerance levels for each stage based on the time of the year, portfolio and then run campaigns accordingly. Models are easy to reconfigure to accommodate for changed scenarios. I think overall the product has performed well on all our testing parameters.

What do you dislike?

They need to expand to additional areas so that this can become an end to end solution. Inorganic lead acquisition and targeting are not possible through maroon, we have to use other products for that.

The dashboards can be more intuitive and have to become customizable. The user should be allowed to run BI on top of the data lake and not forced upon us.

good predictive SI product for B2B technology companies having a top heaving marketing funnel. Please be judicious when selecting product look at the model efficiency and once you are convinced proceed with the engagement contracts.

"Lead generation and churn assessment"

What do you like best?

We have used maroon for helping us with prioritization all leads that are generated by our channel eco system to that the correct valuation can be estimated and the leads then assigned to the proper work flow. It had been challenging to assign the right leads to the right relationship managers to close to obtain the right appraisal. Maroon helped us immense with solving this problem, they have high flexibility in terms of the integration ecosystem (we use marketo and a custom CRM product internally) all our systems handling marketing, sales and revenue were integrated and golden source of clean data created and model built on top of this to give us insights and assignment features.

Since adoption of this technology partner I have been personally able to grow my portfolio by at least 30% which in the corporate real estate services sector is a huge win. Some of the additional features that I most like about maroon is the capability to build a complete demand generation track with integrations to DSPs and also intent information that is made available about each prospect. Intent provided by maroon is different for Sales and Marketing which is such a gift. We were using a vendor in the past and the we received was so silly that i almost felt like slapping myself. Fod God sake I want marketing companies to understand that we sell to people not machines!!

What do you dislike?

The team at maroon is fairly small to things move slower than expected. Overall on boarding process is also a little weak and to be honest not confidence inspiring. Hoping these issues can be fixed to build a good product that works.

A very focused and impactful product for the commercial real estate market, would recommend this solution hands down. Be demanding at the time of onboarding to ensure that your models are working at the first instance. The basic structure is important and future tweaks can only change as much.

"Portfolio matching and context discovery"

What do you like best?

We are using the product to research and analyze companies, deals, funds, investors and sectors across our entire portfolio. The product has an integration with Salesforce CRM and Informatica at the backend. We have create a internal data cloud with Maroon's data flat file and this provides us about 3000 additional attributes about companies we are tracking.

We are also using the predictive scoring and validation tab to provide different analysts a view of their preferred sectors. The customization that has been done on the top layer is really good. We have also leveraged the word to vector algorithm to build a smart cloud of industry sectors we are tracking. this is really helpful in estimating the sentiment of the industry both at macroscopic and microscopic levels

What do you dislike?

The product is not very flexible, we are a financial institution and that requires a lot of security layers before being integration ready, this was almost 2-month effort while onboarding. The product is designed for a very sales and marketing view and to customize and use for other use cases than that can be a bottleneck.

But once these hurdles are taken care the product works well.

"Powerful Lead generation product"

What do you like best?

We have been using maroon for over 2 years for inorganic lead generation, the product has given us tremendous returns from other sources we tried in the past. The features that i like most about maroon are:

1) All leads come with intent information and correct decision makers organizational mapping and contact syndication

2) leads are directly funneled into our zoho CRM, this is really helpful when it comes to executing these leads

3) The product has been able to identify powerful triggers for potential leads and build a very nice communication channel that we can use for our product.

4) Overall quality and timing is much better than ISR companies we have engaged in the past

What do you dislike?

The product needs to be a service for companies like ours which have a vast portfolio and constantly changing lead targeting spectrum. We would like to see a success based pricing model for lead generation.

"Modeling product for Sales and Marketing"

What do you like best?

Uses REST api for non native integrations, we integrated billing and collaboration portals through simple connectors. Configuration of models is very simple and they account very exhaustive internal data parameters. Allows SalesOps complete control over model formulation and data synchronization. Data visualization is fairly simple with limited customizations.

They are the only solution in the market which comes with an custom implementation for enterprise grade customers. Hence all issues related to data privacy are subsumed.

What do you dislike?

More customizations need to be available for deeper BI of all the predictive tech. Additional parameters can eventually be included into models.

I had suggested the team to find ways to integrate voice into predictive models as well. The objective to achieving good sales success lies in complete data view. Hopefully this can be incorporated in the future as well.

What do you like best?

Used Maroon predictive insights for driving customer segmentation targeted outreach through intent being generated at an account level and lead level. Enriching our prospects with attributes around technographics are helpful for easier prospect orchestration. We used the product on along with a DSP which directly connected the predictive data to our campaigns.

Models returned high confidence levels on predictions. Lead scoring by portfolios is very flexible to achieve product/ segment level insights. Also cross-sell opportunities that can identify across product lines is very helpful.

What do you dislike?

Overall dashboard look and feel can be better, the interface looks cluttered with too much information. Also integrations need to be made available to billing ERPs for driving deeper customer genomics.

"Enrich and score inbound real time"

What do you like best?

The minute a lead is generated in market automation, Maroon enriches it with really deep account insights and scores it for us to assign it to the relevant marketing workflow. The part I like most about this software is how quickly they manage to bring so much data about the account in a matter of minutes. Today Maroon is the single source from which we draw insights about our leads.

What do you dislike?

If they can have single sign on enabled for users of Hubspot CRM to log into Maroon insights engine would be great. Currently this is enabled only for Salesforce.

"Great product with exceptional customer support!"

What do you like best?

The product has made us identify the cross sell/ up - sell opportunities with key triggers & deep account/lead insights! Have also helped us in identifying new existing opportunities/potential leads in new geographies for expanding our business for our diverse portfolios.

What do you dislike?

No dislikes as such but if they can service some of our B2C portfolios that will be really exciting & would open completely new opportunities & market for them.

What do you like best?

The setup is easy and integrations to most market and salesforce automation are natively

available. Easy to set choose frequency of models to be trained.

Segmenting the entire list for each portfolio also is good for the cross-sell use. The intent

generated from the validation section directly feeds into our personalized campaigns and the

response so far has been good. Overall the models work well and can be easily modified to

accommodate for changed scenarios.

What do you dislike?

Overall onboarding and sales process needs to be more streamlined. Integrations to further

upstream products such as segment can drive higher confidence on behavior scores

"Top class predictive algorithms"

What do you like best?

Tight integrations with in-house SFA and Market automation systems. And maroon also enables 2FA with Single Sign on, we had a lot of material data within our systems for which we implemented really good DPIs to ensure limited access.

Maroon is also compliant with Infosec guidelines for SFDC.

Very impressive algos. They have incorporated time series, graphs and word to vector for deep context and non linear determination of prospects. We were not able to achieve this maturity with either of our earlier implementations of BI tools.

What do you dislike?

Data transformation is limited to marketing related attributes and does not take into account any customer and account metrics. Which would be great in the upcoming releases.

Recommendations to others considering the product

- Deepest predictive algorithms.

- Stable and secure integrations (and up to 5 integrations are complimentary)

- Good external data.

But they don't have an on-premise option, we had to implement a custom ESB with scheduler for meeting our needs.

"Good product for account segmentation and targeting"

What do you like best?

Have used this product for account segmentation by sub category and hence using the

validation and activity monitor to drive personalization on email campaigns we run by

segments. The results have been promising, for most of the larger and mid sizes target market

the penetration from data standpoint is good. Also, it is very flexible to retune a model for any

changed business scenario. This was a good feature as well since we are constantly

remodeling and build further customization on existing account sets.

The product is easy to onboard and the time to value is decent. We are now working on

leveraging the recommendations engine for future global opportunities. Like the scoring,

cross sell and validation features.

What do you dislike?

Low penetration in the education sector is something that needs to be taken care of.

Especially mid to small educational enterprises are a huge untapped market. The product also

should also custom BI through any 3 rd party integration this limits the value proposition of the

overall insights given the amount of data the product has access

" Up sell identification for existing accounts"

What do you like best?

The product helped us build prioritization at customer level to identify cross sell opportunities within the our different product portfolios. Since the lead level data from a named account is provided this is great for us use this to hyper target within account.

Have used net new accounts for outreach and have achieved higher qualifications over standard lead acquisition, since they do churn analytics at a marketing level the anomalies occurring in net new accounts after targeting are also highlighted and included in our models. Hence no activity essentially becomes a learning process and once patterns emerge we are then able to improve ROI from the learnings. The data cloud access also permits adding multiple attribute fields to your prospect list. This is was done in a secure manner.

What do you dislike?

Have only used the product in the last few months so not much to say here. But overall dashboard interface should be self-service and self-configurable be better also more customization features should be available to the user. The demo feature should be self-service to allow for faster Proof of Value.

"Data aggregation with custom prioritization"

What do you like best?

Worked on a custom use case of aggregating industry wide LP data and creating unique segmentation by investment thesis and stage. Got a good output. Also used the customization report features to run research through the aggregated data on the maroon platform.

Some of the best features that come to my mind are ease of data aggregation and custom modeling to build priority lists of accounts from the house lists. Overall adoption and integrations to HubSpot were native and the team was very responsive on our requirements.

What do you dislike?

Overall the experience was very good. What needs to improve is the quality of dashboard, this is more like a beta version. Also need more flexibility in relation to access controls to other users.

Also an offering to access the data layer alone could be a great value add for this product.

Worth a trial. The success of predictive analytics depends on how good the internal data within your CRM is. But from the other products that we evaluated Maroon gave us the best results. Also the most economical product in this grade.

What do you like best?

The product has a lot of features like predictive lead scoring, enrichment, lead generation etc. but the scores along with the intent really delivers some actionable insights assisting in the identification of upsell/cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts along with the opportunities that exist in the market.The pricing is reasonable too.

"Account prioritization made easy"

What do you like best?

Account level prioritization by portfolio and targeting. by industry preferences and sector

categories. One of the few solutions in the market that I have used in the past which give this

type of views.

The engagement is simple as the dashboard access prevents too much clutter at the CRM and

we are able to manage better access control by roles. It can be a little time consuming to

access both the apps but for the price and quality it is worth it.

The details that are generated through unique classification algos are really deep. So the

insights are really meant for you and not generically available for the industry.

What do you dislike?

The onboarding process is more cumbersome than I tought. There is lag between onboarding

and by the time the engine start delivering insights. Integration to pipedrive is not native

hence some effort was required for us to build into that.

The sales process also can be improved and made more tailored to the customers need.

"Account prioritization through predictive technology"

What do you like best?

The reporting is fairly advanced as we have multiple views to pull insights out based on portfolio and regional angles. This is very interesting and with salesforce single sign on we can replicate the same access control as existing in your sfdc ecosystem.

The biggest advantage with maroon is that models are trained weekly and you have the flexibility to tweak models to accommodate changing scenarios. Most other product only model on historical data. The accuracy of models was higher we ran extensive tests prior to onboarding the results were much higher than what is available in the competition.

Also since integrations are native and are instantaneous that is a big help. its a simple interface and has good built in features

What do you dislike?

The sales process slow. Would like better responsiveness from the team they seem like a very small team but this is no excuse to not responding to demo requests.

More maturity is needed for acquired analytics and the customizations available can also be better.

Simple UI and flexible pricing, very good models for scoring and intent discovery. Very happy with the experience.

The sales process is very slow and expect delays in the demo, hope they improve the situation with that.

What do you like best?

Effective predictive insights and targeting platform for intent generation.

Predictive Lead scoring works really well, returned almost 70% accurate results we used the HubSpot Marketing with SFDC Integration API.

Predictive insights are directly importable into an ABM targeting platform. We used the intent for presonalization at COS. Also prospect DNA for marketing ROI parameter was an interesting insight for our marketers to see and tweaks lead acquisition strategies accordingly.

Would recommend the product for SaaS verticals selling to internet friendly businesses.

What do you dislike?

The dashboard provided has bugs that need to be corrected. Some issues that we have reported are yet to be corrected. The team is very small and hence moves a little slow.

Overall dashboard look and feel can be better, the interface looks cluttered with too much information. Also integrations need to be made available to billing ERP's for driving deeper customer genomics.

"Best in market lead prediction"

What do you like best?

We particularly liked their Maroon SCORE feature which helped us immensely, our Sales and Marketing vertical was able to prioritize the lead based on the internal and external signals. Using this we were able to target and set the context to nurture the existing leads in hand. The results were clearly visible in our reports and was a morale booster for the team.

What do you dislike?

As such we didn't come across anything major. Their predictive models struggle a bit in initial phases in a new market or product but the same is handled effectively by their multi-dimensional customer data input and it very well makes up for it, in turn, making it more beneficial.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are looking to prioritize and build a well-curated strategy for your incoming leads then it's the product for you. It helps immensely in nurturing the marketing campaigns based on both internal and externals signals. It even helped us in finding more high-quality leads which meant actual business for us. Before zeroing on Maroon we looked at various products for predictive analysis but Maroon did wonders for us. And final icing on the cake is their customer service which is exceptionally well.

What do you like best?

Good account segmentation and targeting intent. The product provides a single sign on and similar access and privacy levels existing on the SFDC that makes onboarding simple. The ability to create new models as and when required is also a good feature. Allows creation of models as per current marketing needs.

New New accounts focused on geographies are named accounts with pre-loaded intent, used this directly in our targeted campaigns. Also the feature of using a prospects attribute successes for list generation has a direct value creation.

What do you dislike?

Needs better effort in terms of meeting custom needs of customers. The product seems very rigid in comparison to other products in the category. Needs to use more data sources which can elevate accuracy of models.

"Really deep lead insights"

What do you like best?

From start to finish it took us about 10 hours to setup. This included all upstream and downstream integrations, the initial modeling and setting up the dashboard and marketing automation customizations.

All I had to do beyond that was to get my users added and we started using the product. They have a chat and email support enabled as well, which really helped getting us all our queries answered. Very proactive team.

The models are deep and bring out some very fascinating attributes about my businesses. Had never seen the power of mining and analytics like this before. We used Maroon for generating net new accounts for a new growth market.

What do you dislike?

They are priced by features and net new accounts are available only in the top level subscription. We were not able to fully leverage some of the enrichment and predictive insights categories due to this. Had informed them it would have been great to only have the option to subscribe for Net new accounts alone.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Pick them if you have a mature business model as they rely on internal data for generating predictive insights. They have plug and play integrations with only the top marketing automation platforms. If you use others their can be an onboarding cost involved?

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were expanding into a new region which is why we needed to acquire inorganic leads to enable the supply side of the business. We sourced about 8k inorganic leads from Maroon. And I think those were sufficient for us to get a deep penetration into this new market.

Leads came with named accounts and multiple target people and unique ways of targeting them. That worked really well.

"Exceeds expectations "

What do you like best?

The company has an excellent and innovative lead scoring feature which helps me and my organisation in filtering leads and prioritising them.

What do you dislike?

There are no shortfalls as such because I have got the required solutions to my issues. The company's interface can always be improved though.

"Lead orchestration through intent campaigns"

What do you like best?

- Predictive marketing product with minimal almost no on-boarding time lag.

- We also got complimentary integration out upstream HubSpot marketing and Sales stack

- Modeling was almost instantaneous also the models keep updating every week for all changes within the systems

- Maroon Lead scores was giving nearly 60%+ accuracy on testing with historical data.

- We used intent for directly leading marketing campaigns

- Flexible modeling for any new products/ go to markets

What do you dislike?

Data provided back into HubSpot marketing stack is minimal and their is limited customizations available on what information can be taken from the Maroon dashboards to our internal stack. Sometimes this leads to back and forth between these products.

Also single sign on is only enabled for Salesforce users. Onboarding for other users can be very inconvenient.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Good lead scoring approach and intent validation for scores. Have greatly impacted our company marketing ROI. Would recommend this product if you are selling to technology sectors.

"Excellent Service & Support"

What do you like best?

Their feature of Maroon SCORE helped our marketing & sales team to prioritize the lead based on both internal & external signals to better target & set the context to nurture existing leads.It really gave us terrific results & we were able to see a 5x increase in LTR ratio.

What do you dislike?

Nothing major. Predictive models can struggle when moving into new markets, or be launching a new product, but Maroon’s multi-dimensional customer data input leads to deep context about its target buyer which can eliminate this problem.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are looking for a solution to quickly prioritize incoming leads & nurture your marketing campaigns, using both internal & external signal or to go find more high-quality leads, this is a great product. There are dozens of companies that have "predictive analytics" in the product description. We have found Maroon to be the best for our needs. Also a special mention to the team.The service is exceptional.

We primarily use Maroon to filter our top-funnel, to prioritize leads for followup through marketing campaigns and for scoring accounts to better target & personalize through account-based marketing.
