"Really great but still needs improvement "

What do you like best?

I love that multiple users can access their schedules through the iPhone app, see sales on services and products, and block out time. I also love the numerous number of reports that can be ran for each user, and that we can ring up clients through the software as opposed to a separate terminal.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that the MilleniumGo app is not available for Android, that the name of each user can not be displayed on credit card receipts, and that schedules can not be opened up from the app.

"It is a comprehensive product for salon management"

What do you like best?

The inventory management on millennium is fantastic, we need a flexible system as we are not a conventional salon, and millennium allows us to sell, book and order for a diversity of situations and business lines. The services we can add and customization of service providers times is a fantastic attribute and one we frequently use

What do you dislike?

The architecture of the system is old. We really want a web based system, and anything on the market or the new millennium online software is not powerful enough for a salon our size and as such we have had to hack together several 3rd party solutions.

If you are a big salon it is probably your only choice, if you are small/ simple go with Meevo

"This system does it all! Easy to use, yet very complex!"

What do you like best?

I enjoyed how advanced this system was. It was a lot to learn at first but Millennium provides customer service to assist you with learning. This system does it all. It's easy to schedule appointments, set up taning beds/services and sell retail.

What do you dislike?

I can't think of a specific feature I disliked. The hardest part in switching to this system was learning all of its nooks and crannies. If you aren't technologically advanced it can be confusing but it is more useful to train someone that will primarily be using Millenium and can train other people.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take advantage of their customer service. It's a great system, let me them help you get used to it. Once you get start to understand all of its capabilities, you'll won't be disappointed.

Millenium provided far more reports than our old system. It seemed to have a lot less glitches and worked smoothly. We used MIllenium to schedule appointments for services, track stats and sell merchandise.

"Wax Center World"

What do you like best?

It’s super easy to use!! It’s self explanatory.....it definitely aids in keeping things in order for our center!!

What do you dislike?

Lately, the software has been out of date and crashing. I love the program, it just needs some serious updating!

It’s makes it super easy to book and change reservations. It also makes for an easier and more smooth guest experience!

"Worked very well for managing appointments"

What do you like best?

This program was very helpful for managing appointments four our stylist, and keeping personal information private. Especially beneficial since we stored credit card information with the system.

What do you dislike?

navigating and learning the system in the beginning was difficult, but the support and training that millennium offered was very helpful.

I would recommend it, especially if you are switching from another system because the technical support and training is very helpful

"Millenium"

What do you like best?

Millenium is a great program in the organizational aspect. I like how it keeps appointments organized and is fairly easy to read the appointment book

What do you dislike?

There are so many things to learn and so many different ways you can do one thing. It is a very complicated system and takes forever to learn

"Excellent"

What do you like best?

Scheduling is a breeze. Clients can book online and texts alerts are sent to the employee and client to confirm. Text reminders are great - clients can confirm their appointments via text. This is great to help eliminate and discourage people from "no-show"-ing.

What do you dislike?

Cloud services are sometimes unreliable and don't always load quickly. Also the cost of credit acceptance is high - I use a separate service to accept credit cards.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Using this software, I can be more consumer-friendly by catering to new millennials that don't like to schedule over the phone. They can easily see when appointments are available and book accordingly.

"Full of Bugs Hard to Use"

What do you like best?

I like that it is a scheduling software that attempts to do it all. And I like that you can use it to assign rooms for appointments.

What do you dislike?

It doesn't register punches properly all of the time so employees get in trouble for not clocking in properly. It will occasionally lose appointments or fail to delete them properly leading to scheduling conflicts. You cannot access more than one clinic location through it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is a decent program but you have to get used to the quirks, and periodically check that appointments are being recorded properly - both from an employees using it correctly perspective and from an it didn't bug out on you perspective. I recommend making prior day confirmation calls to clients to make sure their appointment is scheduled correctly (and to keep massage therapists from getting upset that their bookings were incorrect).

We are using this program to manage a multi-clinic massage franchise business. It allows us to keep track of appointments for many therapists, track booking trends from individual clients, and store information about individual clients readily.

"Millennium is out of date"

What do you like best?

You can book about anything you can imagine. The database is huge! There's a tremendous amount of information and reports available to use.

What do you dislike?

Not intuitive at all! Very slow! Not productive. The system is 20 years old. They've promised a new touch screen, cloud based system for years! so far ... nothing! They have the WORST EMV integration imaginable. They obviously did not beta test.

Spend money on developing a new software and for goodness sake, Beta Test before rolling out!

"Source of booking appointments"

What do you like best?

It's extremely easy to use. Easy to navigate and train my employees.

What do you dislike?

It's become pretty outdated. Some of the items need better reporting in it.

It's easy to use, however, the company needs to revamp their software. The software we are using is fairly outdated and the reports have not moved in the direction we are going. In other words, we are boosting our business, but Millennium has stayed the same.

It allows us to find areas we need to add on more employees, room maximization, and also allows us to effectively book and schedule.

"Used for appointment capturing"

What do you like best?

I like that the program allows for us to put transactions on hold and that it keeps a record that is timestamped of all activity on a client's account

What do you dislike?

NOt very user friendly for how busy our clinics are- also tends to crash on a regular basis when there is too much wifi being used. Pulling offsite information makes our benefit of being able to use our client's memberships at any location difficult.

It is our main POS system so it is helping us track transactions and keep up with our books.

"Great software that performs the much needed tasks"

What do you like best?

Millennium has the perfect functionality and tools for a spa or salon.

What do you dislike?

There are quite a few different ways to accomplish one task, which makes training and cohesion a bit difficult amongst a large staff.

Millennium is quite outdated compared to some other salon/spa software. There have been issues syncing between internet booking and the internal schedule. That being said, the benefits and organization outweigh the negatives.

"Millennium is Useful "

What do you like best?

Millenium is a very easy database to use. The features are very easy to figure out. IT is relatively easy to learn and get a hold on to.

What do you dislike?

Millenium can be kind of unappealing to the eye. It can be hard to look at for extended periods of time.

This program is really easy to work with! It will definitely help with your business needs. I would definitely recommend this program!

What I like about millennium is that it’s easy to use and direct.

"Easiest salon software ever"

What do you like best?

The ease of learning the system, easy navigating through the software and it's an all in one product which is very convenient.

What do you dislike?

It is a little busy looking at first glance maybe some more organization could help this. Maybe a command center like type make an appointment on this day at this time would be a nice feature.

Business problems that are solved are that everything can be traced and balanced for the cash drawer and it easily shows what is going to be deposited into the business account.

"Not user friendly"

I don't particularly like anything about Millennium

What do you dislike?

It's extremely counter-intuitive. There are a million ways to do everything, and all of them have a hundred steps that don't make sense. It is extremely slow, and freezes all the time.

"How can you have software that doesn't allow schedule checking offsite"

What do you like best?

It's a basic program- it manages multiple schedules at a time, and allows for on the fly editing of schedule, so long as you are onsite.

What do you dislike?

seems redic to have a program in 2017 that doesn't allow for checking in/changing offsite.

allows entire staff to check their schedule and appointments while onsite, and see both upcoming and past appointments easily. People with no tech skills can use the program.

"Millennium for massage"

What do you like best?

It was easy to book appointments and EFT drafts were simple. The color coding of appointments was very helpful, it allowed us to book the correct modalities with the correct therapist.

What do you dislike?

It doesn't have many updated features, such as online booking or an app. Online booking would really go far for this software, as well as an app for clients to use.

Updated features, a mobile app, online booking

It solves our issue with EFT's, automatic drafting that notifies us when someone has missed a payment, or running a report of who has not come in for their sessions.

"Detailed and easy to use software."

"Does the job"

What do you like best?

This product does the job but has room for some serious modernization and streamlining.

What do you dislike?

It’s not intuitive at all, needs better integration with online booking and text confirmation. Desk-to-desk chat would be amazing.

However, you can only see it if you have an iphone. There is no android app for the same tool.

"Somewhat outdated..."

What do you like best?

It definitely gets the job done. Scheduling is made somewhat easy for front desk associates.

What do you dislike?

I would prefer it updated our schedule much faster on other computers once it has changed on another. As massage therapists, Estheticians, etc... we should also be able to login somehow at home or on mobile to see what our schedule looks like for the next day.

It's a tried and true software program. With minimal flaws. We are able to look back into client transaction history well enough.

"Efficient compared to old system "

What do you like best?

The system is easy to learn and easy to teach

The system shuts down randomly and sometimes when you do things too fast the system will glitch
