What do you like best?
I like the 1:1 interaction with the developers and the project managers/account managers. I find that frequent check point meetings are beneficial for all project members. I have developed a very strong working relationship with most of the Merit team supporting our company.
What do you dislike?
Global coverage could be better. US based companies relying on European support teams leaves a very big gap and we have struggled with finding the balance for continuous seamless support. There is only one senior support person in the US that is an AX expert and when he leaves, the gap widens.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Ensure you are adequately covered for project management tasks and deliverables. Set written expectations, (they will meet or exceed them), above all, support your integration partners. You have asked them to help you, be willing to listen, negotiate and adjust as needed to make your projects successful.
