"Very easy to use and value for money"

What do you like best?

1. I love the pricing most - It is very cheap in terms of per sms. For building a prototype, testing the product and then deploying it for production has been very easy! Also the ability to top up small amounts to keep testing going has also been very easy

2. The services work for Singapore very well

3. Works for HK and US numbers very well ask well

What do you dislike?

The SMS services doesn't work for Indian mobile phone numbers properly.

The scustomer service system is not available 24/7. Although the team has presence in Singapore, it has been hard to get someone to respond during Asian hours. Only London hour provide customer service. 24/7 chat customer service would be the least expected if the company wants to sell its services in Asia.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a mobile app that retrieves the user's phone number and sends a OTP to the customer. We are using MessageBird to create this customised OTP service. The APIs are very easy to use. The dev team could implement the APIs within the mobile app and the appropriated backend services within less than a day. Till date we have not faced any errors wrt the APIs working. In terms of value for money it is a great service. Till date top ups have worked instantly and we haven't faced any downtime!

"Easy to use"

What do you like best?

Simplicity. It was easy to integrate with our software.

What do you dislike?

Our customers complain about the tax of delivered messages. We are using messagebird with 3 of our customers for information about Queue Management and Service status. Our intentions it's to make Messagebird the default system for all our customers in more than 40 countries. But there is a big percentage of SMS that are not delivered. We can see the same problem in our own team. We already contacted your support, but the problem remains.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It would be nice to have a reseler program. Our products have a connector to Messagebird, and our customers are invited to create an account at Messagebird to get informations by SMS from our software. This means that we are making business for you and get nothing for it...

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We produce instore customer service systems. We use Messagebird to inform the customers about the queue status, to thank for the visit, to get feedback, etc... And to send alerts by SMS to the system administrators and store managers. cut

What do you like best?

love that this saves us so much time and can send several messages at once. very easy to use and brilliant support on hand if need guidance on anything.

"Average"

What do you like best?

Cheap rates and fast delivery of messages.

What do you dislike?

(1) The timeframe that I will have to wait for my payment verification (2) Lots of undelivered messages and the system takes credits. (3) No US number support line. (4) Support chat sometimes reply is taking so long.

I love the company but it could be better if they keep innovating new features, faster and dedicated support and faster crediting of purchased credits.

"Easy and simple to use"

What do you like best?

We only send simple email alerts to customers that items are ready for collection, this is nice and easy to use for this purpose.

What do you dislike?

Our messages are only sent locally, not international. Having to put in the country code for every number is a little frustrating and makes it difficult for automation.

Easy notification to customers that items are ready for collection. This helps prevent getting stuck with phone calls and allow quick roll over of work.

"Best way to send authentication codes"

What do you like best?

We were looking for a partner to send our registration confirmation sms, but the sending had to be instantaneous, many vendors had failed to do so, but MessageBird totally fulfilled our need.

The integration with the APIs is very simple, this made our process much easier.

The statistics are complete assisting us during the decision making.

What do you dislike?

I believe the only downside would be the rather high cost close to other competitors, but the quality is velsibly higher.

best service, strongly recommend to those who need sms on a large scale, and do not want to suffer with failures in deliveries

"Easy-to-use service, great customer service"

What do you like best?

We've used MessageBird to conduct important trial programs in customer texting outreach with minimal cost and technical fuss. There were some technical hurdles in setting things up, but, since then, the system has worked very well. The MessageBird system also integrates well with CRM platforms like Zendesk very easily and effectively. This is a great resource for businesses that need an easy texting solution and don't want to spend months waiting for the conclusion of a sprint or requiring engineering assistance.

What do you dislike?

There are some technical challenges and fewer automations associated with MessageBird for mass-message sending. They won't automatically apportion mass text messages across multiple long codes to ensure delivery. They also don't allow automatic geo-location targeting for customers in the US based on the customer's area code. These are smaller concerns, though, based on how you plan on using their service.

We're solving the problem of being able to send mass, transactional text messages to customer without great confusion or technical challenges, and it is working well. Customer service has been extremely helpful.

"Great service for SMS integrations!"

What do you like best?

MessageBird is very simple to integrate and to use and it has all required functions to use SMS with our business processes: send and receive text messages directly with our applications.

"excellent service - when it works"

What do you like best?

far easier than any other software we have used to add bulk text lists and send out thousands in an instant.

What do you dislike?

does not always work with internet explorer. however this is not their fault, just restrictions from our IT department, which can prove to be extremely frustrating when texts are needed to be sent urgently

"Top notch services"

What do you like best?

Their incoming/outgoing sms reliability and handling is top notch. And their integration (and email forwarding) features are pretty handy too.

What do you dislike?

No known issues, I'm perfectly happy with MessageBird.

If you only need text messaging solutions (i.e. no VoIP or calling solutions) then MessageBird is the place to go. If you're looking for an all in one solution, then MessageBird might not fit your needs.

We personally use MessageBird for texting solutions, and another provider for VoIP/calling solutions.

Messagebird makes it very convenient to share a single phone number for incoming/outgoing messages between all our employees.

"Nice service with good customer support "

I really like the service cost and efficiency

I believe that there is more enhancements to be done in the reporting. also the support should communicate any issues related to the operators before it happens and effect negatively on the service.

"Easy peasy SMS!"

The easy to use Rest API. Makes it so simple to integrate and documentation is very clear.

"Like the delivery and prices"

What do you like best?

Both otp and transactional sms delivery and pricing. The subaccount feature works perfectly for us.

Yet to find it. They can reduce customer care in off hours.

"Best service"

What do you like best?

MessageBird is a service that in addition to simple text messages offers other services, vocail and social chat. I installed it to make a web app interact with text messages and I found it really good. All scripts are already available.

What do you dislike?

Being a nonprofit association, we would have appreciated the possibility of buying text message packages at "facilitated" prices, so as not to affect the social report too much.

"A really splendid product"

What do you like best?

How easy it is to use & integrate with your app. I have a ruby app, and it comes with a gem that I candirectly use. Plus all the analytics support Messagebird has, its awesome

What do you dislike?

Well, there have been issues sometimes with operators in some countries where the sms's wer blacklisted, but the support was really on it & got it resolved in a day

We are into hardware upgrades, so letting people know when they have to upgrade or when we have new offers is a crucial thing for us. No one really reads emails these days. So SMS is the way to go, hence MessageBird :)

"Awesome Service"

What do you like best?

This tool allowed us to provide a service that local nonprofits need. Before we were spending a lot of time and donor dollars to make it happen. Now we've got Message Bird. Excellent. They even worked with us to work out a custom solution to our particular problem. Great customer service.

"Usage Ecperience"

What do you like best?

My fav part using message bird is that I can upload a customized file in which I can put a different message for each different contact.

There are certain legal restrictions which gave me a hard time.

"Quick and cost effective solution "

What do you like best?

It's very intuitive and the dashboard is easy to use and navigate.

What do you dislike?

I have had some problems with uploading files to a Group, usually have to do it a couple of times for it to work, but not a major problem.

Easy to use and clean control panel along with an easy to use API

Would be nice if they could add an auto top up option, at the moment it will auto generate a new order when credit is running low but this won't automatically charge your card and add credit to your account.
