"EHR at your fingertips"

What do you like best?

MyChart seamlessly integrates with Epic

What do you dislike?

The interface could use a facelift. It works well, but it isn't always clear to the patient how to find what they are looking for. Additionally, it is not yet an engaging tool for a healthy person in the way that it is for an unhealthy person to track all of their appointments and whatnot.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If a company is using Epic, then it makes sense to use MyChart. What MyChart could improve upon is better integration across health systems. Rather than having a MyChart account with a health system, it would be great to have a MyChart account for a person.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

MyChart can save a company tons of money by communicating with a customer electronically. Rather than sending statements, appointment reminders, etc through the mail, a patient can log on to the portal online or through an app to view upcoming appointments or pay bills. It always streamlines communication between patient and providers.

"great communication app for patien/doctor"

What do you like best?

What I like best is about my charts online is that I can use it to communicate with my doctor or with patients and it is very easy to ask questions and read test exams. I also like how informative it is with giving the options to look up pcp's and to communicate with them. This method of my charts is really less time consuming for both parties and it is the easiest way to get the information in less time then having it sent over mail. I like the email system and everything that is has to offer like being able to schedule appointments as well as access records and look up medical questioners as well as health trends.

What do you dislike?

what I don't like about my charts online that Having to look up test results and emailing your doctor can be somewhat confusing. Both are not hard to do but it fills that the option to look up your test results is a bit hidden until you find it. I would think that it would come included in an email attachment but it does not. It looks fairly easy to navigate but can be really confusing to look for some options or how to get back to them. That is the only thing that I mainly dislike, but the application it's self is simple to use.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would say that this application software is the right way to go. The level of communication is exceptional and it makes some jobs easier and it makes it easier for patients to access their record and ask questions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Well I don't know about benefits but it has been very useful when I have had any concerns I need to address. As mentioned before it truly is less time consuming and it's quick and easy to use. If I've had any concerns with any text my charts have helped to get the answers that I've needed from my nurse or doctor. Problems that I would be solving with my charts would be health concerns, I know they have added some new features such as E-visits. It's also very simple for me to go and look at my billing options.

"My Charts, Your Medical Information At Your Fingertips"

What do you like best?

The ease of access to my medical records, test results, appointments, billing, and insurance data.

What do you dislike?

It is hard to remember so many passwords so if you do not require change of passwords often, it is helpful.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Why wait for a report to be mailed to you in USPS or a call from your doctor when you can view your test results by logging in t MyChart? Easy access and making and checking on appointments at your finger tips. You can also ask questions via MyCharts to your physician or PA.

"Personal Use of MyChart"

What do you like best?

1. Ability to schedule appointments myself

2. Ability to access/use on smart phone/tablet

3. Access to family members charts

4. Ability to see lab results easily

5. Ability to request refills via computer/app

6. Access to billing information

What do you dislike?

1. Billing screens are sometimes confusing

2. Some physicians do not allow scheduling of appointments via the app

3. Limitation of number of characters when documenting the reason you are requesting an appointment

4. Delay in uploading of lab results

5. Notification that there is new information in Mychart via email but doesn't tell you what section of the chart

1. Allows me and other patients to be more involved with their healthcare

"Sufficient Usability and Fulfills Dr./ Patient Communication Gap"

What do you like best?

This software keeps records of all blood tests, or any other kind of tests performed by doctors, and even compares them via a chart from one test to the next to show changes in say iron or glucose.

What do you dislike?

Log in/ Sign up process is tenuous. Don't lose your password.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Well, there are no comparable products, so I'd say give it a try. Good area for a competitor to arise.

It provides a nice gateway in which to communicate with doctor regarding things like scheduling appointments, referrals and prescription refills.

"MyChart for patient reminders"

What do you like best?

I like the ability for my patients and families to view upcoming appointments and communicate directly with the medical team.

What do you dislike?

I wish that more medical providers had access to using the MyChart system.

My patient families have reported being better able to track changes in medications and lab results to improve health outcomes.

"Everyone should be using MyChart"

What do you like best?

Ease of use, delivery of information, organized content, customized content

What do you dislike?

The only drawback is that each health care system can customize their version, so not everything is in the same place for all log ins.

What do you like best?

ability to view multiple areas of patients chart- decreases paperwork

What do you dislike?

somewhat difficult to set up account at first, patients have a lot of questions regarding what they are able to view, sometimes it is not appropriate for them to see results without knowing how to interpret tese results

This is easily accessible no matter where you are working from, makes getting work done from somewhere other than a stationary desk simple

Can be challenging to navigate at times, or to find specific items that you are looking for.
