The smoothest option out there for PR pros

What do you like best?

My Newsdesk combines the basic elements that you would expect of this type of service - contacts, distribution etc. But where it wins otu is in its ability ot have a customised online newsroom which can be designed to look like part of your company website, and acts as a destination for all media inquiries. Live chat suppirt is also valuable when you're getting to know the system.

What do you dislike?

Occasional software glitches aren't unknown - importing contacts from Excel spreadsheets in particular can be a little prone to crashing. But you can still cut and paste the contacts, so even this issue isn't something that halts your workflow.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take advantage of the free trial and on-site demos available in many countries.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We used this to replace a Press page on the website which was resource heavy, in that every story or image for publication had to be uploaded by a member of the web team, who were already under enormous work pressure. The simplicity of the MyNewsdesk UI means that our PR team can upload and publish material directly.

Excellent tool for pr professionals

What do you like best?

Once your newsrooms and lists are set up, it is so easy to send out the PR online as well as to email contacts, all in one go.

What do you dislike?

Nothing comes to mind, the initial setting up takes a bit of time but is well worth it

Time saving - instead of having to "send" the PR twice (posting it online and then sending it to email contacts), it's all done really quickly.

The way it displays is also nice, so I. Don't have to reconfigure the PR emails before sending them on to the client for their information.

MyNewsdesk - a perfect PR tool

What do you like best?

Userfriendly and easy to use. Works perfect - the press releases reach the journalists and get published. In addition, the employees at MyNewsdesk is a great bunch of people - very dedicated and helpful (I consider them being my collegues).

What do you dislike?

There is really nothing bad with MyNewsdesk - it's easy to work with and it works excellent !

A perfect PR tool which will make the daily work easier.

My PR work became more efficient and I gain better results (articles published) with MyNewsdesk.

easy to use PR platform

What do you like best?

good landing platform to manage press releases and relevant content to share with different audiences

What do you dislike?

the send options could be more user friendly, importing contacts, managing contacts and linking to social media could be better

Generation exposure, media attention and industry interests for food ingredients companies., We realised a number of relevant postings in industry publications, visits of buyers, journalists and other relevant people to the platform and improved effectiveness of press releases

Insisted on keeping us tied into a 12 month contract even though we didnt renew

What do you like best?

Platform works as stated on the website.

What do you dislike?

When we didn't renew our subscription, MND insisted on their legal right to keep us locked in.
