nanoCAD appears to be a nearly-perfect implementation of AutoCAD
The fact that the software is sold and supported by a Russian firm that may have access to my data
If your company requires an AutoCAD clone, and is not working in the government field, nanoCAD might be a reasonable alternative, as it doesn't require subscriptions
To date, my company has not used nanoCAD in our business environment, but are keeping it updated for comparison with AUtoCAD
Nonocad is very easy to use, its free to use by anyone who wants to design and model things. The user interface is easy as well to use. It's compatible with other softwares. And they have a good technical support when you need it.
Some of the onocad products are not free. You have to registers i even for the one that is free by generating a key, which is kind of stressful.
Sometimes it can just stop working. Even when you uninstall and reinstall at different times.
Noticed is a very good grade cad and design tools with beautiful and easy interface. It has an open API which makes it free for all.
I use it for 2d design work and rendering. It let me creat, edit and make-up any kind of 2d drawing. I realise that you can use it for any purpose in respect of 2d drawing.
A remarkable improvement in terms of designs of structures and techniques, I love that this software is in a constant technological advance and every time there is a better change with more tools, it is easy to use thanks to its integration of lines and the API help you build automated tasks.
It is a little difficult not to use the option of dynamic blocks and dynamic entries since the basic structure is easily messed up and I would like it to have a layer editor.
It may take you a while to get used to using this digital construtor due to its diversity of table editing options but it is very easy to learn to use.
It corrects one of the biggest problems in order of structures thanks to its lots of objects and tools where, once finished, the plane can be used both in two-dimensional and three-dimensional.
Ease of use, fast, intuitive, practical, POWERFUL, great interface, usually people are looking for a decent option to replace autocad; but NanoCAD is much better.
The free version is the best of all free CAD software, and the pro version is even better than the autocad itself, there is no important function in autocad that this software does not have.
Some minor problems, bugs or glitches aren't fixed until a new big update, there are some commands that I used to use in autocad that are not found or have different abbreviations
Stop looking for free CAD softwares, this is the best free option and the PRO version is much better than autocad.
I can do all my plans and designs at a very low cost compared with all its advantages, and if you are low in money, the free version is good enough to withstand.
NanoCAD is an upgraded version of AutoCAD. The user interface is very user friendly and it is similar to the AutoCAD. SO the uesr who knows the AutoCAD can easily be familiar with NanoCAD. There is a facility of muliple image formats like jpg, png, bmp, tif and many others. NanoCAD offers services like 2D drawing objects, canvas, command line interface. The free trial version of NanoCAD is available for beginners.
No proper plugins facility is there in the NanoCAD software. Some of the commands which are available in AutoCAD but not in NanoCAD. Though trial version is free the user have to register for the key. This NanoCAD softwware requires lot of CPU processing power nad the PRO version is very costly..
I recommend those AutoCAD users who are not switched on NanoCAD as it is upgrade of AutoCAD.
I used NanoCAD for 2D designing of house plans as it is faster compared to AutoCAD so it saves time and efforts.
What I like most about nanoCAD is how easily accessible the software is for anyone to access and use. Its a free program that can be used to quickly draft digitally. In this technology driven world it is imparative to have quick access to tools to share designs and ideas. Because this product is free, it can be used in conjunction with a pricier option like AutoCAD if you need to draw up a quick diagram. Later you can import it into whatever software is your favorite choice. It can be a work saving option if you do not have access to the paid software like AutoCAD
What I dislike most about this software nanoCAD is that it is not as full of features as AutoCAD. The industry is ran by AutoCAD and to compare this as a competing software is a little bit of an overstatement. It is just not as powerful of a tool but can be when used as a tool for a more powerful tool like AutoCAD.
Take advantage of its easy and availability. Use it as a back up software when in need.
The biggest business problem I am solving with nanoCAD is the problem of time and efficiency. This is really a life saving tool. It is a helpful communicator between different software's and is free! Its also a great option of anyone who wants to simply learn how to draft on a computer without the commitment of purchasing a product only companies can afford.
I like the nice interface of nanoCAD. All tools for drafting and designing are very sharp and easy to use. Mechanical Designs are very easy to make using nanoCAD. Making complex building structures is one the amazing use cases of nanoCAD
There is absolutely nothing that I don't like nanoCAD but NanoCAD pro trial should be provided for more time because it has lots of features and needs more time to explore it.
There is always a room of improvement in every software. more features can be added
2D modeling, and designing. We have MacBooks and we can't use it on MacBook because dmg files are not available on the website.
If you are accustomed to Autocad but need a free alternative for your work, nanoCAD is in my opinion the best software you can have. Its interface and way of work is very similar to Autocad 2008 (The last which had the old interface). Very powerful 2D CAD tool!
It is free but you have to register for a key, however I know this is a minor issue. It also do not have so much tools as Autocad and written commands are not the same.
Just use it! It's easy, but I recommend to take the quick start guide to be more productive.
Simple 2D drawings for electronic components.
It is very easy to learn to operate. I use it to make truss and wall panel layouts in paper space and on different paper sizes. It is very easy to learn and use.
It would be nice if it had state of the art toolbars like lots of the industry programs have.
I do not know what software we would use if we did not have nano cad. The company is very easy to work with, and was also willing to work with us to help us meet and achieve our goals.
It is very easy to use and it is better than AutoCAD, solid edge etc. I was very excited when I discovered this program. I was surprised by the reliability of this software. It is easy to use for beginners
The biggest issue is with the license not being transferrable from your old to new computer. Another con is the slowness when rendering certain layouts, probably due to single thread CPU usage.
Have to look in to the licensing option as per user not computer locked
Used for designing small building components, valves and 2D design of structures
They have a good and frequent update. The toggle switch is my favourite. you can access various formats of drawing files. the new multileader is powerful and quick. The 3d polyline feature is also interesting and helpful.
The background is dark and quite tiring if used for a long time. the software changes the layout so sometimes it takes time to adapt to the new updates.
There could be a PDE implemented for a larger team to use and version saving options through which we can retrieve our previous work.
Projects in developing new car parts.
Nanocad is a free to use CAD tool that provides many features like intuitive interface, lightweight and supports dwg file format.
Its basically is 2D design tools and lacks 3D features.
Yes.
I have used this for software development in our company
fast, intuitive, friendly interface, large number of commands, customizable.
Nothing, it's almost the same thing that the most famous CAD editor.
We can make our plans and designs in a completely professional way at cost 0
I have used this software for about 3 years . In general it’s pretty good I get what I need
The one thing I wish it could do better is better design :)
NanoCAd
This feels more flexible than autocad in some features. This is very customizable according to the requirement. And this has a great technical support team.
This takes lot of CPU and it slows down the functionality of the application.
This is really good if you want to have a more of a human experience in designing using a tool
I was using this to practice some designing plans
It is very easy to use. It is also fast, intuitive and great interface usually people looking for. It is better than autoCAD,solid edge etc.
The thing that I didn't like was that the software is sold and supported by Russian firm that may have access to my data.
Future designs and drafts have been made effectively and concisely.
I cant say enough about how much this product has helped our company. nanoCAD has been a great piece of software, with great tutorials on how to us it. Without it we couldn't get any of our highly important projects done.
The price is a little high, but it is well worth it
Drawing CAD drawings
It is very easy to use this software, It contains lot's of feature which make it's to convenient.
It doesn't have some template option so user can quick start with some draft.
It was helpful t create build blocks for our project.
How data is automatically transferred to our database
Some of the data does not automatically transfer to our database
We are getting more data to be automatically transferred each day.
I like the quality of the files that are received.
The files can sometimes be challenging to organize internally.
Future designs and drafts have been made effectively and concisely.
