"Newscred is the Backbone of Our Content Marketing Program"

What do you like best?

I love Newscred's dashboard with the blog content performance widgets! Newscred's platform is easy to use for our content workflow and enables us to track the data analytics associated with the content we produce. Including metrics for best performing content, social shares, trending topics, engagement, conversions, etc. This information helps us plan for future content while keeping a pulse on how readers react to the content we produce.

What do you dislike?

(Not really a complaint.) Sometimes Newscred iterates so quickly, I don't understand the utility of the widgets or some of my preferred features are moved around. But the customer service is so great, if I have questions on the platform, the team is very responsive.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're considering a content marketing platform that will give you actionable data analytics with a very responsive customer service and account team to back it up, Newscred is the platform you need.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Newscred provides us a way to track every aspect of our content marketing and how it performs while also seamlessly integrating with WordPress. It also provides us a way to promote our blog posts on social media at the same time we push publish. Because of Newscred, we are now able to see how well our content has performed over time and how small SEO changes can make a difference in web traffic and content engagement.

"A great content marketing partner"

What do you like best?

Newscred makes it easy for us to extend our content marketing efforts via targeted original articles and curated licensed content. Their focus on SEO ensures that all our content is optimize to attract the right audience. We not only enjoy increased awareness but are driving leads into our sales funnel. Their platform and team help us identify important metrics and keep us on track.

What do you dislike?

We have a complex product in an emerging market. Not surprisingly, it can take a couple cycles to ensure that our message and position are accurately reflect in our content.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are driving awareness and inbound leads from Newscred's thought-leadership content. They help us attract prospects to our blog through multiple channels, including search, social, and newsletters.

"Can't Live Without It"

What do you like best?

The platform is very intuitive and thoughtful. We use it to publish our blog and promote our content on social. We use syndicated content as well as original content via Newscred writers. What I appreciate most is how closely our reps work with us to make sure we're getting maximum benefit out of the platform and editorial services. Most recently, they've been working with us to tie our content to demand gen metrics so we can show our contribution to leads/bookings. They've also been especially proactive in finding the right contributing writers. Not every freelancer they've suggested has been the right fit, but they've always listened carefully to what we're looking for and we've ended up finding some great contributors.

What do you dislike?

Have never had a major glitch with NC. Every once in a while something doesn't work quite right. Support jumps on it immediately and there's always a very quick resolution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We started with Newscred three years ago and were quickly able to move from publishing once a week to almost daily. That would not have happened without the workflows, syndicated content, and ease of social promotion that Newscred provides. It didn't take long before we saw the number of our visitors multiply by four fold. While syndicated content (with our own original editorial introductions, to help frame the content) did well, when we decided to concentrate more heavily on original content, we saw even more engagement and sharing. Newscred found writers to work on original content and some of them have even turned into great brand ambassadors. Ultimately we're now seeing the blog drive people to other parts of our site, including demo requests, which really helps prove ROI. Another benefit of adding more content to our blog thanks to Newscred is that we were able to double the frequency of our newsletter and are seeing more people engaging on a repeat basis with our content as a result.

"A Necessity for Successful Enterprise Content Marketing"

What do you like best?

Without NewsCred we would have never been able to pull off a cohesive, thoughtful, or useful content marketing strategy for our organization. They roll up their sleeves and get to work quickly by immersing themselves in your business/industry and act as members of our team with first-hand subject matter knowledge that quite often is very hard to come by. Their ability to generate relevant and timely content in a variety of verticals and market sectors is second to none. Moreover, they possess the technical prowess to build whitelabeled blog sites in a very short amount of time and integrated seamlessly with our web team to get the site up and live quickly and efficiently, even when faced with corporate layers and red tape. They iterate quickly, loop in the right people at the right times, and keep you up-to-date with clear, consistent, and continued communication and frequent status meetings. They work well with other partners and vendors and continually operate with our organizations best intentions in mind. Could not recommend them more for any and all content marketing needs.

What do you dislike?

Not really a complaint, but we are based on different coasts and it can sometimes be challenging to find meeting times that work with all parties involved in our content marketing efforts, which includes and additional three vendors at any given time. Somehow we make it happen and NewsCred is always at the ready even if meetings occur later in their day/evening.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For years, our business has been trying to leverage good content as a way to generate and nurture leads through our sales and marketing funnels. We struggled to get there on our own and had NewsCred step in and in a little over three months, NewsCred built and populated our new enterprise blog and continues to generate content for our demand generation and lead nurturing efforts.

"Does pretty much everything, and does it right."

What do you like best?

Intuitiveness of the UI, extensibility of the base product, and promptness and willingness of support and dev teams to help with features that were not quite what we needed.

What do you dislike?

Workflow edits do not retro-apply to previously-created Tasks -- a minor setback, and one that makes sense, but would be helpful if it did retro-apply.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use NewsCred to collaborate on our outgoing blog and social content between multiple contributors (writers, editors, SEO optimization, and so on), and it's always easy for new users to hit the ground running, no matter their general skillset. It's integral to our blog publishing and social media original content.

"Two-time NewsCred client"

What do you like best?

From two different working relationships with NewsCred, I've been impressed with the personalized customer service at both stops along the way.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really, but if I had to say something, it would be the cost of original content, I guess. There have been times I've considered using the NewsCred newsroom, but find that the cost of producing content in-house and/or with my own freelance network to be far more efficient.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you want to bring your content marketing, production and publishing plans in house, NewsCred is the way to go. For original and licensed thought leadership content, there's no better option out there.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

NewsCred is actively helping us launch an entirely new content marketing campaign, including a new content hub and activation plan in higher ed. This will no doubt be even more successful than our first partnership together, in CPG.

"Newscred--Lovely Design, but very buggy "

What do you like best?

Love the beautiful interface, easy workflow, number of integrations available (WordPress, social channels, Markteo, etc). Reps are very nice and the #ThinkContent team was great.

What do you dislike?

Platform is incredibly buggy and is constantly giving us problems (failing to publish, posts disappearing, etc). The support team takes a LOOOOONG time to determine the issue, putting our content calendar behind schedule.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Love the NewsCred team--they truly go above and beyond. That being said, we wouldn't need to contact them so frequently if fewer issues arose. Make sure you have your rep's email in addition to the support team so you can have them follow up about questions for you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Source great syndicated content for our blog (we republish Forbes articles) that we do not have the bandwidth to create ourselves. Gives our blog more cache and keeps the moving pieces all in one place.

"A Content Marketing Platform That's Worth the Investment"

What do you like best?

It's got a fantastic interface, the workflow is smooth (and easy to pick up) and it integrates nicely with your CMS and social channels. They also have great customer support who were extremely helpful with setup and training.

What do you dislike?

There are a few bugs that did crop up, but those were a minor nuisance at best. In general, the platform ran quite smoothly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's a great tool for sourcing content and for helping to promote your own content in one easy to use platform (instead of bouncing back and forth between multiple channels). It's also great for client reporting and for analyzing the effectiveness of specific content types and posts.

"Content Manager"

What do you like best?

It is very easy to see what content I have plannned for the week. Very easy to filter through content as welll. I also like that you are now able to track the changes made to the content.

What do you dislike?

In the analytics filter does not allow you to filter via workflows.

Easy ability to collaborate and coordinate content with multiple stake holders in one places. Helps maintain an ongoing workflow.
