Nicely integrated search

What do you like best?

Nextopia integrates so well into our website consumers do not realize it is an external service. The best part is it provides a small thumbnail of related items in a drop down directly under the search bar making it easy for customers to find exactly what they are searching for by image instead of search tearm

What do you dislike?

Sometimes search pages do not update item prices as fast as they are updated in magento so can cause customer confusion

Customers can find the products they are looking for quickly and easily with Nextopia both on our desktop and mobile site. Often customers see a product they like on social media and come to our website to search for that product since they aren't always provided with a link

Excellent Search & Merchandising Tool

What do you like best?

The extensive merchandising tools really allow you to dial in to help your customers find what they need. Synonyms and product promotions make sure we're putting the right products at the top of our results. The upgrade of their Magento integration was a huge improvement. The filters have been very beneficial.

What do you dislike?

We tried for awhile to get our site search to show in our Google Organic results. We eventually found that the way in which Nextopia returns search results is not supported. We're still looking to have that feature.

We're also looking to get more personalized results with our site search. It seems like that is something they're currently working on. Seems a bit behind on what the ecommerce industry trend has been for the past few years.

The merchandising tools are your best friend with Nextopia site search. Pay attention to the usage reports and constantly tweak to get the best results.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

In our market, there are alot of different terms used to describe the same product. With Nextopia's merchandising tool, we're able to bridge the gap between our product names and descriptions with customer vernacular. This is an invaluable tool for our website.

Improving my companies search results

What do you like best?

I can see the popular searches by customers, set up my own pages for specific searches

What do you dislike?

Hard to pin point searches. If someone if looking for a size of something with 2 numbers, it is hard for them to pick up the results because they can only add in one space. I would have to customize every product.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be prepared to customize alot of your own pages....takes time

I am solving the problem when customers making spelling errors and still able to bring up the product they are looking for.

From the initial customer service, through to the implementation and after service, the experience has been outstanding.

What do you dislike?

Would like to bulk upload search over-rides.

Assisted to achieve 20% increase in overall revenue!

What do you like best?

Customer service were no longer tied up with questions about stock inquiries, customers can answer this for themselves in just a few seconds which allowed Customer Service to focus on inquiries from people ready buy just looking to confirm the finer details.

What do you dislike?

That we didn't make the change to Nextopia sooner.

We can know see the customers behaviour through back end reporting, giving us valuable insight into what customers are searching for which assists with merchandising, forecasting and purchasing.
