What do you like best?
Overall we love NiftyQuoter, and have no complaints or problems. If I had to highlight key features we really like about the software, it would be our ability to 1) quickly generate proposals, 2) track prospects interaction with the proposal, 3) interact with prospects through the built-in messaging system, and 4) track overall proposals won/lost.
What do you dislike?
There are two things that we would like to see added or fixed. The first would be the ability to customize the dashboard more. We would like to be able to flip between easier to read graphs. For example, a larger pie chart that shows won/lost proposals that could be filtered for a specific time period (this month, this quarter, this year, last year). In addition, we would like to see adjustments to the pricing template options. Right now it's not possible to show a price range rather than a set cost. Sometimes the projects we work on have a base that they will cost but could cost up to a max. It would be nice to be able to send clients an cost estimate that indicates this kind of range rather than a set price. Along those same lines, the month unit doesn't work properly. If we want to show a customer the cost per year for an agreement and then the monthly breakdown, it's not possible. If we select the monthly unit, it doesn't tabulate correctly, so we just don't use it.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our company uses NiftyQuoter to create and send out proposals for projects and on-going contracts. Once the proposals have been sent, we use the system to communicate with prospects regarding the proposal.
