"It's too much system for a small business"

What do you like best?

There is a lot of customized features and tracking abilities.

What do you dislike?

The custom options and reports rely heavily on finding an expert in Odoo tech. That is not something that is readily available in person in Canada. While we have found a great guy to help us, it seems it's never really accurate for our needs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think Odoo is a great option for larger businesses. While we are somewhat divided on the efficiency of Odoo in relation to our business model, I think that it is a fantastic option for getting detailed info, tracing inventory, etc. It just might not be the best option for a smaller company like ours. It would be amazing if it could integrate with Shopify!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to link all transactions together. Keeping record of every email sent.

"Easy to use, powerful pipeline management, Makes CRM fun "

What do you like best?

Coming from Netsuite and Salesforce, CRM use was difficult to enforce and inevitably adoption would decline. Odoo CRM was so simple to deploy, and so intuitive our users had almost no learning curve. Drag and drop pipeline stages, email directly from Opportunity, Quote directly from Opportunity. Best part is that it is so simple to manage opportunities our reps can use PC, Tablet or Phone just as easy with no complaints.

What do you dislike?

I wish there were more options for look and feel like color changes.

For most effective deployment, be sure to document requirements properly from the beginning.

"Great utility but needs fine tuning for appliable real world use"

What do you like best?

CRM and Sales Pipeline features are quite robust

What do you dislike?

Having to pay for apps related to accounting. Why a subscriber are forced to pay for multiple apps for an A/R person to manage bookkeeping and invoicing does not compute.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Ask very specific questions relation to your business. I suggested a bit of pre-planning by mapping out a workflow process of each department prior to requesting a demo. It really is a great system and the support is very much on top of things.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Efficiency gaps are filled. Communication amongst teams have improved project turnaround time. Our billing cycle has shortened. We now have a closed loop system in place that allows us to manage our data and process management better. Not having to manage multiple services such as our bookkeeping, project management, CRM, sales pipeline not to mention that these apps do not communicate with each other.

"Great for keeping track of clients and goals"

What do you like best?

Our team uses Odoo CRM to keep track of sales and clients especially because we deal with multiple clients at once, Odoo puts them all on one page so everything is organized.

What do you dislike?

Odoo only allows one of their applications to be free, any additional applications have to be paid, this is a little bit inconvenient as most of their applications are meant to be used together to improve functionality.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We solved the problem of being unorganized in regards to keeping track of clients.

"Odoo CRM"

What do you like best?

Odoo is an open source crm application. It's very intuitive and very easy to use. You do not have to be an expert to use it daily

What do you dislike?

It really has few points against, maybe lately they are leaving aside the open source philosophy with which this project was born

I think that Odoo is a great option to have all the information of the company's clients at a click

"A good framework to develop Erp Crm "

What do you like best?

The framework to develop/enhance feature allows very powerfull development.

Nice interface.

Opensouce software.

What do you dislike?

Native features implements business process difficult to use in real life. It needs a lot of development to have them usefull. Database model give sometimes headach.

The community edition is easier than the pro version.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is a good choice if you have strong and experienced developers in your team so you can tune software working like you need. Avoid it if you can't invest time and money for such tuning.

"Great, but not quite salesforce. "

What do you like best?

I like the simplicity and integration with the rest of the Odoo applications

What do you dislike?

Most sales users are used to salesforce and they sometimes have a hard time accepting Odoo.

Solves our customer management. The benefit is the tight integration with the rest of the system.

"One of the best CRM"

What do you like best?

Well, what a wonderful software: anyone even beginners could find a way to use it due to it's simple interface that is more intuitive.

There you got, a cheap and professional , plus customisable software.

What do you dislike?

Nothing worst including in the section, or maybe the little connexion delay

"Warehouse Management"

What do you like best?

The integrations between the several modules enables the user to customize a tailor made ERP at low cost.

The customer service is excellent.

What do you dislike?

The speed of the servers, it takes that small second extra that is annoying but get used to it.

Warehouse management. Keeping track in real time of the goods shipped to and from our warehouse.

"Full featured fixable and perfect crm"

Odoo is fully customizable unlike the Salesforce and other crm we fastly was able to implement in easy way

"Very easy to use and powerfull CRM."

What do you like best?

It's very flexible, you can easily adapt to your own needs, literally in minutes, you can change the workflow, the screen design and add user fields. The best aspect is that is complete, it handle most CRM application just like it is or with little modification.

What do you dislike?

I'd like a documentation with more examples. But the good news is that it is very intuitive.

Define your goals and get an expert to support them, it is very difficult for staff to have plenty of time to implement the project.

"Best Open Source CRM"

What do you like best?

I have been using open source OpeNERP CRM at Virdhara International since last 2 years. It is very flexible and easy to use. Web based interface provides easy management and access across network
