"Good product for account reconciliation and transaction matching"

What do you like best?

user able to manage matching rule and prepare data by themselves.

The matching rule quite flexible to handle business requirement.

What do you dislike?

there is not complete integration solution yet for;

- integrate bank statement MT940 format

- mapping adjustment type with GL account COA value

- integrate data between transaction matching and account reconciliation module

- integrate journal adjustment with Oracle EBS GL on premise

Recommendations to others considering the product

ARCS is best product to help financial process reduce manual task in financial close process.

There are 2 modules for account reconciliation and transaction matching which help for financial compliance and also support for million of transaction matching.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

we can do transaction matching in shorten time and can monitor overall status process.

The human error will be solved by using predefined logic that be able to trace back to what logic that system apply which is support audit requirement.

"Work in progress to stability"

What do you like best?

The format is visually appealing and simple to use. As a former PeopleSoft user, I like that the majority of the modules are on 1-2 screens. This has helped our older workforce with quicker learning.

What do you dislike?

The guided learning is basic and has not been able to assist with the specific issues that I have faced. Error messages are not obvious to the general user on how to fix the issue at hand. The product is good until something goes wrong and then it has been difficult to get back on track to proceed with business.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Switching to this new system has highlighted the flaws in our business processes and practices.

"Automate and Standardize Account Reconciliations"

What do you like best?

Ability to deliver best in class account reconciliation solution and standardize process throughout organization. The solution is user friendly and allows organizations to experience Oracle Cloud. Perfect entry in to expanded EPM and ERP cloud platform play.

What do you dislike?

Would like smartview capability for reporting and writeback to account reconciliation data forms. Ability to create import, event, and mapping scripts through data management in Jython

Recommendations to others considering the product

Develop additional bank file adapters for SWIFT and credit card processors

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Visibility in to account reconciliation status. 30 - 40% automation of reconciliations

"Oracle Review"

What do you like best?

Oracle is pretty simple to use and easy to teach to others.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that Oracle is not as advanced as the other types of software that is available.

Oracle helps reconcile monthly accounts and eliminates some of the manual monthly tasks.

"ARCS is very user friendly"
