The display is very plain and has been forever. This tool has always been very business-like, no frills, no thrills.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make this tool a bit more frilly. Would be so nice to come into the 21st century

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

What do you like best?

I like the fact that it is much easier to manipulate using Rich Text Forms and MS Word. It is very easy to pull items from the database tables and it is easy to deploy forms and reports.

What do you dislike?

I do not like the formatting within the actual database when you are trying to customize existing forms. It makes it really hard.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would definitely make sure that the administrator receives training. It is very hard to administer the product. I would also consider training the users that actually develop the forms and reports and make sure that they have sql training.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I'm trying to resolve client issues for reporting and customizing forms that are utilized on a daily basis.

Works well, but could be more user friendly

What do you like best?

I like the reporting functions BI Publisher offers.

The setup isn't very user friendly. If I need to find a report, it's difficult to search through the catalog to find it. The search function also doesn't work when I want to try and find a report.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Allows us to compile data from multiple sources, and create custom reports.
