"More than just an ATS!"

What do you like best?

Ease of use, SUPPORT- live support and our account manager- they are like family!

Page up has helped us streamline processes that we never thought were possible and we still haven't even scratched the surface of what the system can do!

What do you dislike?

I wouldn't say I dislike anything, but I think the reporting function could use a little work. I think that it could just be a bit more user friendly.

Great system! They really have a pulse on what's going on in the Talent Acquisition/hiring/onboarding world. Since the system is cloud based, you can access from anywhere. They are constantly updating and pushing out new functionality. The best part about the company is most certainly the people. Everyone I have encountered within PageUp is so willing to help and genuinely loves the product they put out.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A lot of our Employment Business used to be paper. We were manually entering in EE into the system. When we integrated PageUp with our HRIS system and everything fed over electronically, we felt like we won the lottery! This now frees up their time to catch any mistakes or audit files rather than just entering them.

"PageUp Debrief"

What do you like best?

- The onboarding functionality has transformed our onboarding process and a new hire's experience coming into our community. It has allowed us to keep the communication going from the moment as offered is made, until their first month here. It is also a one stop shop for any questions they may have as they transition into their new role.

- The ATS functionality is clean and clear. Compared to other products I have used, PageUp has made reviewing applications a clean process with all the necessary flags prominent.

What do you dislike?

Lately, it seems as though we have been asking for functionality that is not available or part of the project plan." We wonder ho can we be the only one asking about this/for this, but we seem to always be one step ahead. We need our TAM to keep us forward thinking and showing us what else can we be doing or doing better.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take your time and do not try to implement all items at once. Each functionality needs its own attention, research and development.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- Onboarding = we did not have much consistency across the board when it came to onboarding and welcoming a new hire. This functionality brought consistency and clean assistance to new hires. It also made it much easier for Managers to follow along and chime in when wanted.

- Managers involvement = Because PageUp's system is very customizable and clear cut, we are able to tailor the search to each individual search. This has allowed us to build more specialized searches and really find that "golden" candidate.

"Great product support"

What do you like best?

It's wonderful to have a technical account manager who is responsive, willing to collaborate with our team, readily accepts and forwards product feedback, and truly does her best to solve any system issues and help us reach our goals as an organization. Having this support makes PageUp really stand out. The technical support team has been very responsive as well. I also appreciate being able to configure so much of the product on my own (as a super user). The sandbox environment is very robust, and that is extremely helpful for testing purposes. Being able to log in under other user accounts is also incredibly useful when trying to troubleshoot and/or recreate issues. Other systems do not have all of these capabilities, which can be challenging when trying to provide user support or when testing a new (or existing) feature.

What do you dislike?

When I first started using PageUp, there was a bit of a learning curve. As a super user, the amount of information I had access to was overwhelming. It took six months to a year before I started to feel comfortable with it. However, now that I've used the product for a while and understand it better, I really enjoy having access to so many system settings and being able to build custom reports.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been able to build custom reports that sit on our job cards so the department administrators will have access to them. We've also been able to create and deliver custom ad hoc reports based on administrators' requests. With these reports, we've helped our hiring departments gather information that assists them with their recruitment processes.

"Great thought partner for improving your organization's talent management processes"

What do you like best?

PageUp is always open to ideas and talking out possible solutions regarding any issue or process. They are very customer-centric. Truly appreciate their agile methodology. They have made many updates to the system which our users are really beginning to like.

What do you dislike?

It is hard to find anything that I truly dislike. There may be some functionality within the system that doesn't always adapt well to our needs. However, we have been able to work through some of those concerns. I would really like to have the selection criteria which is set up on job requisitions to have the opportunity to use a scoring system as well as some weighting on selected criteria.

"Highly customizable product with amazing customer service"

What do you like best?

Dedicated big-picture support from a technical accounts manager with regular check-ins, live support always available for any day-to-day issues, tight-knit community of higher education users, and a real desire for client-vendor partnership to achieve the client's goals. Great communication in all areas.

What do you dislike?

It's not always clear why functionality is limited in certain areas and broad in others. Requests for new functionality are slow to produce results, if ever. They try to appeal to a broad client base with different needs and frustrations, which means that many of their features are not helpful across different markets, and features that would appear in one market are lacking.

Constantly review the system for new opportunities and to make the system intuitive

"A growing reliable company"

What do you like best?

It is very reliable and really easy to use. Their customer care servers are very eager to help hence their reaction rate is very fast i.e they reply to my questions really fast in a matter of minutes or at most a few hours even though they are a small company. Also when you understand how to work this program it is really easy to use.

What do you dislike?

Other than the fact that sometimes their application lags and is slow at times I have no problems with PageUp.

This product has been in the market for a couple of years but I give it 4.4/5 ratings. It is worth taking the risk to use it especially for small businesses.

"Great System for Recruiting and Onboarding!"

What do you like best?

The candidate experience from application to hire! We also appreciate PageUp's User Summit each year as it is a great way for end users to share insights, experiences, and product ideas.

What do you dislike?

Some of the product features do not flow behind the scenes in a logical way. They are constantly making improvements though so we appreciate their willingness to adjust the system to our needs.

We have made the time to recruit more efficient and our onboarding experience more streamlined.

"Great system and amazing suppport "

What do you like best?

Page-ups highly customizable platform and dashboards make working through high volume requisitions a breeze. Great tool for communication with hiring managers, candidates, and organization. The integrations with job boards make posting a breeze. Great especially for organizations that need to customize workflows based on varied hiring needs. From day one the implementation team have been quick to respond and there has been no "honeymoon period" end where service declines.

What do you dislike?

Some issues with background investigations being integrated into the system is causing a bit of a slow down as it has to be run as a separate process. Would also like a select all radio button for candidates on a specific page / search. More of a small annoyance rather than a big headache.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take the time to re-evaluate your processes before implementation, getting the support while making a change will save you tons of work down the road! This system is smart enough to lighten the heavy admin part of the recruitment and onboarding processes.

Maintaining a clearer picture of statuses of candidates, easy replication of previously posted jobs, increased opportunities for hiring managers to be involved in the process.

"Effective"

What do you like best?

The administrator interface provides most of the options for configuration in one page making it easier to maintain. PageUp's live customer support team (chat) is also efficient and responds quickly to queries, so removes the need to always call account managers to get things done.

What do you dislike?

The limitations on fields that can be connected and the manual-ness of contract formatting.

Technical team can take a while to respond so do note that. No follow-ups after they have allocated a ticket to their technical team; leaves something to be desired.

Consider future growth of the software and integration with current systems.

Single area to raise jobs in and track applicants. Its capability to export to our existing HRIS has also been efficient.

"Overall, it's a nice addition to any office because of its HR tracking tools"

What do you like best?

We loved its assessment features because they provided us with the ability to pattern match: fitting employees with tasks that match their capabilities. I also liked the administrator interface, which puts more valuable features on one page than most programs we used.

What do you dislike?

At the beginning, I did not find this user friendly. In fact, it took me a while before I understood how to use the program, which was exacerbated by the fact that the tech support was not responsive or particularly helpful either.

Recommendations to others considering the product

You should request a demo version first, or give yourself and your team enough time to familiarize themselves with the platform. It is not particularly easy to use in the beginning, which can hurt team buy-in.

All in all, we were able to centralize all our HR activities, processes and procedures, which improved our recruiting efforts. Equally as important though, we completely cut out our paper-based system with PageUp.

"PageUp needs to UPdate their software"

What do you like best?

It's all-inclusive software that has everything in one place.

What do you dislike?

The software is not very user-friendly. It is hard to navigate, and their are multiple ways to get to different pages. An updated tab bar at the top of the page and a more streamlined look would be super helpful.

PageUp is a great way to track applicants, job postings, etc. if you want to have everything in one place.

Our office uses PageUp for all hiring, job postings, etc. It is super helpful to have everything in one place, instead of having to move back and forth with different software.

"Great concept, but limitations make it frustrating to use"

What do you like best?

The concept and idea of a central digital system to track all aspects of Human Resource items

What do you dislike?

The user interface is not user friendly, and the execution of carrying out tasks is not the best. Simple things that you can do in Microsoft Word you cannot do in PageUp, such as making bulleted lists, bold items, etc. Things come out in big unformatted paragraphs that are incredibly difficult to work with when you have things like customer facing job postings. It has turned out to be incredibly clunky and actually less efficient than regular paper.

Do your research! Talk to others that have the system to see how they are liking it and if it will work for you.

The centralization of HR processes and procedures, such as all aspects of recruitment. Benefits involve using a system to accomplish these things in general to familiarize HR staff with such an idea.

"Pageup Experience"

What do you like best?

Pageup is easy to use and have nice and friendly interface. I like the fact that there are constant effort to improve the platform and the clients feedback are being considered seriously.

What do you dislike?

The processing time is a little too slow at times. Sometimes would have to wait a few minutes for processing. For example when you perform bulk move or actions if more than 20-30 candidates are selected it will require some time to process.

"User Friendly - Intuitive"

What do you like best?

User friendly and intuitive. The overall appearance is professional and creates an easy to navigate system.

What do you dislike?

There are some pieces that are very outdated looking or not as intuitive as others.

We understand the company is trying to target a large/diverse group; however, there sometimes concerns that the developers are not actual system users and some pieces feel "cold" and with not much consideration to the users.

"Good but Not Great."

What do you like best?

I love the Performance Management piece in Page Up. It allows managers and employees to build rapport and better communicate regarding employee goals and performance.

What do you dislike?

The application seems immensely outdated compared to features of other applicant tracking systems I've used.

Page Up provides efficient ATS and onboarding, as well as performance management. I believe we could utilize the talent management feature more effectively.

"It's Good and Bad"

What do you like best?

The interface is simple and clean. The recruiting part seems to have many features.

What do you dislike?

The position description area is not customizable, meaning that we have to do many workarounds, including keeping manual spreadsheets to track for workflow.

See if you can get a demo version and make sure you ask many questions to see if this fits your needs. Have all stakeholders review the software, and do not skimp on testing (and get all stakeholders involved). Our implementation manager was not very helpful, but the account reps will listen.

This replaced a paper recruiting 'system'. This has allowed for tracking and less wasted time.

"the application is very useful "

In terms of service, the support team is very useful and will also respond by email. Although the product is standard, we can still customize it a bit to match our current requirements.

"Hands-on client-side configuration. Implementation management (worked for PageUp as a PM)."

What do you like best?

Very strong in Application Management space. Careers site and associated app forms can be customised to suit many scenarios. Front end interface for users is clean and straightforward, though this can depend on how each individual client configures their instance. Creating an application form is very easy and intuitive and requires very little, if any, training.

Excellent integration between recruitment and onboarding products, provides seamless experience for users.

Back-end applicant management functions and interface are relevant and efficient, with minimal clicks required to achieve desired outcome. Numerous bulk-update functions available to the user which increases efficiency.

Integrates with a significant number of third party job boards, with PageUp forthcoming to investigate any new integrations that may be required. The process of publishing job advertisements to third party job boards is very easy for any user once setup.

Single Sign-on functionality adds to the back-end user experience.

What do you dislike?

For advanced users (SuperUsers) who need to administer the product, it can be difficult identifying which configuration setting is the correct setting to alter, however configuring the basics is quite straight forward. This is perhaps a side effect of the product being very configurable, and it is still a better interface than other products in the marketplace of a similar nature.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The most common bottleneck to speed of implementation is a result of the customer not having a full understanding of their current and/or desired recruitment process and user and approval hierarchy.

Before kicking off a project, invest time in understanding your current business recruitment process, approval workflows and notification requirements (who receives what email content, and at which stage).

Understand the user hierarchy you will require to underpin the recruitment process and think about what data will need to be extracted (typically from an HR Payroll system) in order to setup user data in PageUp. Remember that you will require ongoing integration to maintain this data.

Don't underestimate the work required to design your careers site as this will require some work. Understand the process involved in creating the careers site as soon as possible as otherwise this may delay Go Live.

An excellent user experience to end users. The careers web site is commonly the first introduction a prospective employee has to a company, so it's incredibly important to deliver a excellent experience to the end user.

What do you like best?

"Easy Interface"

What do you like best?

Interface, Knowledge Portal is useful for self help.

What do you dislike?

It may take a while for loading and candidates can be better categorized and AI can be better integrated into PageUp instead using a separate vendor.

"Top notch ATS"

What do you like best?

PageUp has put together a brilliant product to manage talent throughout not only hiring and on boarding but the entire lifecycle such as 360 reviews and career pathing

Nothing at the moment. Still in initial phase but they've been a pleasure to work with thru implementation

"Difficult to configure, but customer support is extremely good at helping."

There's a very high level of awesome customer service.

There's a very steep learning curve on the back-end, like many features were added on without a clear layout for how to do what.

What do you like best?

I like how everything is organized. I like seeing the requisitions, applicants, employees ect all in one place

I hate the popup aspect of pageup. why can't everything be in sequential order instead?

Pageup solution is completely customizable and allowed my business partners a chance to start fresh in some areas and mirror exhisting processes in others.

The set up process requires intense commitment from the end users and early decisions that will effect process flows developed throughout the implementation.
