What do you like best?
Our orchestra has a lot of packages and prices. Patron Manager can incorporate all of these variations so that it is easy to take orders and concentrate on selling instead of technology. Not only do they have a good on boarding process and work tirelessly to get all the kinks worked out, but the support is ongoing. We started with some basic ticketing and donation features and now that we are more comfortable with that, we are getting into campaigns and more effective reporting and recording ROI right in the system and they are helping us with that as well.
What do you dislike?
Some staff dislike that they need to take time to watch a training video to learn new things (through the help tab right on the home screen). But this is part of the beauty and cost savings of it. It will take them the same amount of time to learn something whether they watch a video or have someone show them the process BUT you don't have to pay extra hours to staff to do the training AND the video is always there (and updated) if they forget something. The only other thing is that I wish the support for non-urgent matters was just a little faster. They promise to get an answer within two weeks and it has always been within a week, but sometimes I wish it was a little shorter.
Recommendations to others considering the product
You really can't go wrong. It's on the Salesforce platform and VERY customer oriented. Super friendly staff that are SO knowledgeable. Their yearly conference is a DO NOT MISS so you can hear how other organizations are using the software and hear about the new features coming out.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Our donations and ticketing is all in one place! When you look at a patron record, you get the complete picture of what they bought, what they donated, touch point activity (calls, emails, messages, etc.) from the past and in the future, even notes about conversations. It also allows me to assign a task to one of my team and when they click on the task, it takes them, right to the person they need to call. It also organizes my subscription sales campaigns and automatically takes out people that don't want to be called or already bought. Tons of applications and reporting styles.
