"Excellent program for working with documents"

What do you like best?

Easy to use many different tools for working with documents including typing text and editing it. Drawing diagrams, creating stamps, underscoring and styles, entering commentaries, notes. Also very useful is the function of exporting pdf to the image. Also there is a large range of settings for printing. It is convenient to set up documents for reading books in pdf format. Small size of the program and quick work. Also very useful is the function of adding text forms and editing text already existing in the file. I also like to use the integrated viewing of pdf files in Windows.

What do you dislike?

It's pretty hard to find something that I do not like about this program. But I can say something. I would change the interface and design of the program. Removed functions that are rarely used or at least hide them from the taskbar. These are functions such as: a function for drawing and for processing elements. For me, more to my taste is a minimalistic and rigorous design. I would choose dark colors in contrast to bright colors and remove the cartoon style. It would also be possible to simplify navigation by functions, to make a kind of main menu for all functions, otherwise you can get lost in such a large number of functions although they are divided into tabs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend PDF X change Viewer and Editor for anyone who wants to work with documents conveniently and even with the design of images and vector graphics.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The program greatly helped me to work with a large number of pdf files, also this program helped me in design craft, in particular the creation of presentations. Also the program helped in the export of jpg and tiff illustrations. I exported large images for design.

"The PDF swiss army knife"

What do you like best?

Several years ago I came across the free version and really liked it as an Adobe Reader replacement. After seeing many of the ""Pro" features available I bought a license to unlock all of those and have been very pleased with it.

It's got just about everything you could want in a PDF authoring and editing tool. By far the toolset I use in it is PDF content editing. Being able to add/change text, move/remove objects in an existing PDF is very handy.

For scanned PDF's there's an option to create searchable text and also a way to optimize large PDF's by resampling included images.

The included PDF printer creates the smallest PDF's I've every seen (some as small as 8 kb a page). Very efficient!

Version 7 just got a UI face lift and it looks good!

What do you dislike?

The PDF Forms tools have to be purchased separately in the "Plus" package that's over and above the "Pro" package.

Tracker Systems website can be confusing to navigate. They have got quite a few PDF tools available. It's getting somewhat better than it has been.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely beats Adobe Acrobat in just about every to do with PDFs. Easy to try before you buy.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

PDF is as close to being the universal format for document exchange that can be found. Having a solid suite of tools to author, view and edit PDF's is a must. PDF Xchange Editor provides that at a more affordable level than Adobe.

"Simple to use and has the features I need."

What do you like best?

Ability to customize tool bars, and manipulate documents, and use OCR software.

What do you dislike?

Lack of keyboard shortcuts, and not always intuitive.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Consider your needs so that you can choose between Viewer and Editor and get the features that you need.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My work requires manipulation of PDF documents, and I need to be able to add, extract, replace, and rotate documents with ease. The second main component is the ability to use OCR (Optical text recognition) software to make PDF documents text searchable which functions well and usually quickly.

"PDF Xchange Viewer and Editor - very useful for editing PDF files "

What do you like best?

The file is very easy to use and has intuitive tool bars and icons. You'll instantly know what each icon does just by looking at the picture. It has all the functionality of Adobe PDF Reader but now you can actually edit the PDF document. The software is fast to load and saving your edits is also fast. There are so many tools you can use to edit your PDF documents. I mainly use it for highlighting text, adding notes, and removing words or pictures which are unnecessary and made the file bigger than it needed to be. The editing options are quite vast for a seemingly simple program like this. I think you'll need to go through the entire tutorial to understand just how powerful this program is at editing your PDF documents.

What do you dislike?

There's not many dislikes about this software. If you want to edit your PDF documents, you will actually have to pay but by looking at the vendor's website, you can get it quite cheap for a one year license. The only feature missing is the ability to compress your PDF files but there's actually free programs to do this.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend this PDF Xchange Viewer and Editor software as it's inexpensive, easy to use, intuitive, and very powerful at editing your PDF documents.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use this PDF Xchange Viewer and Editor software to edit all my PDF documents such as removing text and pictures, adding highlights to words, adding arrows to point at important items, and changing actual text. This has helped me edit other people's documents easily and efficiently.

"Great alternative for PDF Editing software"

What do you like best?

The software has many if not most of the pdf editing tools that we use on a daily basis. We have found it to be a good alternative to other more expensive PDF editing software available. Also you cant beat the price per seat for general users to have it.

What do you dislike?

For users coming from other PDF editing software it can be a little difficult to find the tools you want/need to use. The custom PDF Stamps are not as easy to create.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are looking for a cost effective PDF editing software. Then PDF Xchange is diffidently worth looking into.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our previous pdf editing software was $200-$400 per seat. we were looking for a more cost efficient alternative for our general users. Pdf Xchange fit our situation and has resulted in every user having the ability to edit pdf files.

"Advanced PDF editing tools suite"

What do you like best?

It comes with a huge set of features for editing/creating, multi language support, advanced search and comments tool, it loads big PDF files fast, UI is very clean and intuitive, you can have a low size portable version.

What do you dislike?

It's not free at all, both viewer and editor should be integrated and not two different application, it's too expensive, sometimes it can be overwhelming with features that you don't need.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It can be a great option especially if you need to represent a lot of data in a clear form, however it's quite expensive.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Creating some company manuals and business graphs, it can be very handy adding protection to private files, you can search and navigate through big data files quickly.
