What do you like best?
We use Peachtek's Hotdocs to fill out the mandatory and optional judicial council forms in our family law practice. The interface is easy to use. Much easier than Adobe Acrobat's equivalent formats. Entering text, editing text, and creating new text fields is very simple and straightforward here. The software gives great control for these documents. It's easy to save as hpd and PDF formatting.
What do you dislike?
I wish this software was available for apple and PC. I wish that it was easier at times to navigate between the various tools. Sometimes it is hard to read and navigate within an individual text field. Also sometimes when you get an error message for a field it's hard to figure out what the problem is with your entry.
Recommendations to others considering the product
Compare HotDocs to Acrobat's similar features and you will be sold. It is so much easier than Adobe's typewriter feature, particularly when compared to Acrobat Pro DC.
What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We use this software as a solution for filling out required court forms in California family law practice-specifically the mandatory and optional judicial council forms. This software allows us to fill out and edit the forms as we need to prepare them for filing and it lets us easily safe them into PDF. It does so in a way that is much easier and effective than Acrobat.
