"PMG Will Help You Innovate"

What do you like best?

It is a great business hackathon product. It is easy for someone with limited technical skills to design a user experience and a service and implement it through the tool. You can get value very quickly and continuously build on that value.

What do you dislike?

The web work list feature has been the most problematic for us, which the vendor is beginning to address.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Generate a list of the highest volume requests that you get first. Those should be the services that you optimize and then automate with the Service Catalog. Through attacking only three services that our service desk delivers in the first few months of implementation we were able to drive overall volume to our service desk down by more than 20%, which showed an immediate, quick, and tangible win with the product.

he vendor is extremely responsive and willing to work with us on any issues we have or enhancements we request. They provide constant functionality and feature enhancements

"PMG Digital Platform is the market leader in business process and low code platforms "

What do you like best?

The platform is easy to use and requires no "coding" skillsets to be proficient. At Optum, we have 30 teams configuring business processes with a core team providing mentoring and governance. Out of the box integrations and ease of use of the platform allow us to be successful

What do you dislike?

1) The Web Work List performance becomes undesirable as users customize their views.

2) Migrating forms and workflows through the development lifecycle is manual, would like to see it fully automated

PMG has made stride in these areas with the introduction of the package builder and Work Dashboard. They're moving in the right direction and engage their customers when developing new functionality.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would highly recommend the product,. The PMG staff is the best vendor I have EVER worked with. They are highly responsive and truly listen to their customer needs when developing new functionality.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We purchased the PMG product to replace an aging and very costly request process system. Our organization very quickly realized the potential and we now use the platform for full provisioning and post provisioning processes of our internal cloud services, along with many IT operational processes.

"PMG Service Catalog Review - Excellent Product!"

What do you like best?

The versatility. Using the product out of the box is very viable option. Setting up an intake service form is very simple, with many of the features that would be a customization in other products being available and easy to administer out of the gate. The workflow designer is also simple, providing a large array of core product functionality in a drag and drop, low code setting. I also love the integration possibilities. PMG offers a wide range of connectors and has the ability to design your own with a mix of core product database and web service actions and a small amount of customization.

Their product support team is simply outstanding as well. They are responsive, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with.

What do you dislike?

The reporting has come a long way since earlier versions, but there is still some room to grow the functionality a bit. Reporting on front end data in the latest version has been simplified and is somewhat easy to do, but reporting on workflow data (what happens after a ticket is submitted) is somewhat tricky - though definitely feasible.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Highly recommended. Do the analysis, look at other products, especially the effort in designing and maintaining the workflows. PMG stands a bit above the others in that respect; their workflow is more mature than most and definitively easier to user.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It has grown to a fantastic storefront for request management and fulfillment. Customers love the single pane of glass aspect that the product offers.

"Great people and product"

What do you like best?

There seems to be very little the PMG service catalog application can't do. We have used it as a solution for many different problems. We began using it in the IT department and its use expanded into some of the company's core business areas. The workflow engine is very robust as well as easy to use. It integrates well with other systems. The company personnel are very responsive and provide a personalized level of support.

What do you dislike?

There have been some challenges getting upgraded to the latest version of the product but PMG's support team is there to provide hands on support to ensure the upgrade goes smoothly.

"Great BPM Platform! Great Partner!"

What do you like best?

The PMG platform is very flexible and powerful. It has a robust workflow engine that allows endless opportunities to streamline and automate any business process. The platform has many out of the box integration connectors which allows for faster and easier integrations with a variety of systems.

The vendor relationship is truly first class. From first line support to the top. PMG is very agile and allows their customers changing needs to drive the product roadmap. Their product development team and is able to offer new enhancements and features to the product in a relatively short period of time.

What do you dislike?

There are some opportunities in the reporting and analytics area for easier report creation, dasboards and visuals. There is a new version of the software that PMG has developed to address some of these areas.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Request Fulfillment streamlining and automation. We have several integrations in place that reduce manual steps, decreasing provisioning times and increased user satisfaction.

"The PMG platform is delivering excellent ROI for our projects"

What do you like best?

The best part of the PMG platform is the continual improvement. as time goes on, we are using less and less code to accomplish what we need for our business processes.

What do you dislike?

The learning curve can be difficult for people who have not previously built software solutions. For those who have built code based systems, development can be exceptionally fast.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would seriously consider it. We have implemented many business processes in the system and done a few Proof of Concepts. When we have had failures, it was because the end users did not want any solution. PMG has always been able to deliver a functional prototype.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We replaced several of our custom .NET applications with the solution. This has saved us the maintenance on those code bases, and because the configuration is easier to understand than code, we can have a wider base of analysts supporting the tools.

Power of form configuration: Largely more possibilities than simple HTML form elements

Workflow automatisation: Everthying what can be automated can be done by this platforme

In a mutlilingual context it's sometimes tricky to manage localization

Simple processes are really simple to integrate, of course complex processes need more experience.

A little bit of programming knowledge is helpful (SQL, concept of IFs, LOOPs etc)

We approach to integrate nearly all IT service requests to this tool.

"PMG Service Catalog"

What do you like best?

The PMG platform is very flexible in integrating with other systems and applications. The out-of-box connectors enable the flexibility. Also, the new connectors can be built on demand. The workflow engine and integration connectors provide a low code platform that developers can learn easily and be productive in a short period of time.

What do you dislike?

The reporting module is a area that has room to get better. Ideally, if there is a built-in GUI interface available for the development of reports, it'll make easy for even non-technical people to generate ad-hoc reports. I have seen that PMG has been making constant efforts for improvements.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have used the platform as a centralized ordering system to help the end user to request services from different business units. Instead of going to different systems/applications to place service orders , a service catalog is provided with PMG DBP.

"PMG Service Catalog is truely business enabling"

What do you like best?

Rich User interface, visual design, new Dashboard interface and moreover, a platform for both business associates as well as skilled developers. Both can use it in their own way and still be able to deliver high quality workflow automation solutions

What do you dislike?

Sometime, stability is a concern; but it may be isolated to our environment. Overall, the only area I see is the availability of quality repository of User manuals and guides - a knowledgebase

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have used it to build automated workflow-based solutions to manage issues centrally, Manage account installation end-to-end process, integrating with internal and external APIs/Services.

these solutions have led to enormous savings in terms of cycle times, issue resolution time and right sizing of operational teams so that resources can be deployed to other areas.

"Highly versatile, cost effective, low code, BPM platform"

What do you like best?

The platform has tremendous capability. We're able to quickly turn out useful apps for different business groups or create large modules to solve complex business problems.

What do you dislike?

The reporting UI is on the roadmap, but is probably our biggest challenge.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've automated compliance reports, implemented audit controls, and created dashboards for various business purposes. Communication has improved, processes are followed, employees know what to expect when they need something, and we've eliminated as much non-value added human activity as possible, which allows professionals to focus on doing their job rather than administrivia.

"Powerfull tool and great company to work with "

What do you like best?

Form and Workflow modules and actions are very powerful. This standardizes the way things are done in a federated development environment. Support staff is great to work with, they make it feel like we are their only customer.
