"Promys has fulfilled our business requirement."

What do you like best?

What we like best is that Promys covers our business requirement from lead generation to ongoing help desk support. In the past, we used several different methods to capture information and there was no flow or continuity of customer information available in one location. We like that it is cloud based. It is fairly simple to use which makes training an easier task. The team at Promys is very responsive and easy to work with and are always open to feedback and suggestions.

What do you dislike?

We find at times the system is a bit slow due to being cloud based.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The one problem we have solved is the ability to see all information about a customer in one location. The reports are fairly easy to work with and contain good information and the download to excel is great. As the CFO I can easily pull information I require in real time. It easily integrates into our Microsoft GP financial system.

"Fantastic product with a great support team!"

What do you like best?

Promys has a fantastic team supporting them who are always willing to help, train, etc. The full software is always available via any web browser, and we have never experienced down time unless the internet breaks. There is a bit of a learning curve, but, once you know it, you and your team will always be able to find what you need and track your orders and projects quickly and easily.

What do you dislike?

Being that it is entirely web based, it can be a little slow, particularly at peak internet traffic times. Promys has done a lot of work to make this better, and this is a common problem to many platforms. It's also not quite as customizable as some may wish. While Promys is always willing to listen, and add features that would benefit all their clients, having them add one specific feature for you is less likely (though not impossible, and it can take a long time). Aside from that, a truly great platform. Excited to see what the future holds for this great company.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Again, this is a great team to work with. They will help you transition all your data in, and walk you through any challenges you may face step by step. In terms of software, this is a one-stop shop that will manage all your business needs well.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had several disconnected systems managing the different aspects of our business. As we continued to grow we started experiencing challenges around managing our clients, quotes and orders. We were duplicating effort for project tracking, entering the same data into multiple systems, and having to access multiple systems in order to get a complete picture of the status of a project or order. PROMYS addressed all of our needs in a single software solution, providing seamless, real-time multi-location visibility into all aspects of our business, anytime we want it.

"All in one powerful tool"

What do you like best?

Promys does everything from tracking sales interactions to managing our inventory. It is very intuitive and easy to use.

What do you dislike?

The integrations into QuickBooks can cause some minor difficulties, but that is strictly related to our line of business and large quantity line items for certain services.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were struggling with our complex Unix based system for admin and accounting requirements and also with our non-streamlined quoting methods (exel based). We needed a better tool for our sales opportunities and revenue forecasts, billable staff time and profitability reports. We were spending a lot of time manually coordinating resource schedules and order fulfillment information via multiple manual tools. The Promys PSA software has provided us with the tools to streamline our operations and help with our growth.

"Superior, Secure, Collaborative Sales, Service and Finance Tool on One Platform"

What do you like best?

The Promys solution allowed us to unify three disparate, disconnected software tools from Sales, Service and Accounting into one, easy to use platform. This significantly improved our internal control system and provided one dashboard to view all aspects of our business. Since Promys had experience in our industry, they helped us in best practices with nominal customization. The Promys support and sales team is outstanding! They offer knowledgeable guidance to all team members with very thorough training! They pick up the phone every time, follow up and provide excellent video and live training sessions. Promys has proven to be a valued, trusted partner to our company.

What do you dislike?

Although Promys has literally hundreds of reports that are simple to access through drop down windows, we look forward to continued improvement in their BI tools and dashboard. In addition, we would like to simplification with their interface to other systems such as Sage and our OEM systems. Further improvement in task based tracking in Prof Service would also be helpful.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is an easy to use integrated, well controlled system with an extremely talented team at Promys who will guide you through a thoughtful process to assure the system setup is efficiently. Jim B and Lindsey are amazing.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

One pane of glass view of customer and supplier transactions that allows transparency to Business Units as required to run the business, improve communication and accuracy of data. Promys is a single source of complete customer information that is easy to use, single entry with detailed security levels allowing customizable access to data. It is a single source of data for our audit compliance with KPMG and ISO audits. Promys reporting allows easy download to Excel and other tools for further analysis and graphics. We can provide reporting by OEM, Customer, Rep, Service Project, part or serial number if needed. This data is now easy to access quickly and had been prepared manually in the past.

"Promys is an all-in-one solution for our business"

What do you like best?

I use Promys to order and track hardware inventory and software support. I like the ability to track software support contracts best, which allows me to properly prepare for contract renewals.

What do you dislike?

We offer services which require monthly recurring billing. I have wanted a better way to manage the billing for this type of service for some time, but I'm told it has recently become available. The Promys team has already scheduled training for this new aspect of their software.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When we began using Promys, our service contracts were not tracked internally. Now, I am able to accurately track service contracts which allows me to be more proactive when preparing quotes. I'm able to provide quotes to clients in a timely fashion and before my competition.

"Director of Marketing and Inside Sales"

What do you like best?

My team uses the Promys CRM module extensively. Our reps appreciate the search, filter and sort capabilities in building filtered lists. I really like how I can see last contacted dates across multiple accounts and how our user defined fields automatically become part of the search/selection/filter criteria.

What do you dislike?

We would like tighter integration with some of the 3rd party Marketing tools, but my understanding is that Promys is working on that via their Web API.

Like any software tool, the outcome depends on implementation, training and support (Promys is extremely responsive) and commitment from the user. We are working with them to implement best practices.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Jim Barnet and his team are highly responsive regarding training and support.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Improved business development productivity and sales management/deal management visibility.

There are lots of good CRM/Contact Management solutions out there, but how well your team leverages them relies alot on how good the vendor implementation training and support is.

"Much needed solution for our business"

What do you like best?

Promys provides us with one place to find everything we need to know about our sales and implementation of projects allowing us to be more efficient from start to finish . Promys forces us to use good business practices.

What do you dislike?

Because Promys forces us to use good business practices, sometimes it can seem a bit complex to complete a transaction. We have come to realize that it is often for our own good that these edits are in place.

Very responsive customer support and training.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With Promys we can be sure that we have not overlooked something critical like missed orders and uninvoiced items. The information is easy to access and filter in a variety of ways depending on what you are looking for. We have seen better coordination between departments, greater efficiency, and improved customer satisfaction.

"All in one sales and operational tool!!"

What do you like best?

We were looking for a tool that was able to provide a cradle to grave view of projects within the business. We wanted to see all costs associated so we could look at the true value of a singular project to the business and Promys helps us do that!!

What do you dislike?

The reality of any tool trying to capture data necessary is the number of clicks required by the user is high, this is no different with Promys.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The one recommendation I would make would be to really focus on a good training and ramp up period with frequent follow ups for your users in the first 6 months to ensure adoption of the tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I would suggest the main business problem being address is the number of tools required to deliver a project. Managing a sales tool, a pricing tool, a project tool and a time tracking tool is a lot of work and creates opportunity for data errors. Promys minimizes these errors by bring all of these pieces into one tool which is a huge benefit to our business.

"Promys PRA Software review"

What do you like best?

The Promys solution ensures our Sales, Order Fulfillment, Project Management, Resource Scheduling and Help Desk departments are always on the same page and can respond to changes in a coordinated way. We went from four disconnected departmental software programs and several complicated reporting spreadsheets to one unified solution. This significantly reduced data re-keying errors and delays, departmental communication lags and drastically improved our ability to get real-time company wide visibility. I especially liked how Promys was more than willing to share best practices during implementation, but were also willing to configure Promys to meet "our way" of doing things. Support response and resolution times have been excellent.

What do you dislike?

The implementation took a little longer than we'd hoped, but we did like how Promys did all the implementation heavy lifting instead of leaving it to us to watch video's or read documentation and "figure it out" on our own.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Improved ability to coordinate departmental activities and audit trail. No disconnects between Sales and Order Fulfillment, Order Fulfillment, Project Delivery and Post Sales Support. This has resulted in more efficient (profitable) operations and higher customer satisfaction.

"Ready for Growth!"

What do you like best?

The best part of Promys is the ease of locating needed information. Whether it's client contact info, product info or project status, the interface makes locating and filtering available data very simple and straightforward.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really... the learning curve to utilize all the capabilities of the system is more than I anticipated, but is only limited by time to invest in learning new aspects of the program.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As with any new product implementation, it's essential that you take the time needed to ensure that people are fully trained and familiar with how processes are different within Promys. Change is challenging and has to be managed well to succeed. Advance planning and preparation is essential to ensure smooth transition.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our manual processes and systems were creating a bottleneck in Procurement. Promys has eliminated much wasted time. Also, utilizing Promys to manage maintenance contracts and renewals has allowed us to create potential reoccurring revenue.

"Everything linked in one program!"

What do you like best?

Promys is a robust, yet easy to use, solution which provides us the platform we need to better serve our customers and reduce internal inefficiencies that were caused by using multiple systems for quoting, procurement, and scheduling. Having all stages of a project linked in one solution, with cloud access, is invaluable to our business.

What do you dislike?

There are some manual adjustments needed to invoices on the QuickBooks side after integration, but they are far outweighed by the other time saving features of Promys.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Promys gives us the ability to better utilize and manage our resources. Management can view the progress of projects through Promys, resulting in fewer interruptions to our project management and purchasing teams. Our customer service staff can track customer assets with ease, including service contracts, warranties, returns, and exchanges. Promys helps the left hand know what the right hand is doing, anytime and anywhere there is internet access.

"Solid product, solid service, solid support"

What do you like best?

Intuitive solution with little training. Solid support from the Promys team with rapid response and resolution of issues as they arise. Very flexible in resolving unique issues as they arise.

What do you dislike?

Cloud based solution so can be slow at times.

Promys Enterprise PSA is allowing providing us with the primary metrics in order to focus our (a) sales team to identify missed opportunities; (b) focus areas of improvement from a process point of view; and (c) provide that 30,000 foot view of operations - what areas of our business are really making us profitable, and what is dragging us down.
