"Easy to use survey software "

What do you like best?

I've used Qualaroo for NPS surveys. It's easy to implement and quickly setup targeted surveys. Qualaroo automatically detects the browser/OS, allows you to see the relevant information at a glance and allows exporting.

Sharing the report with stakeholders is another convenient feature

What do you dislike?

Unless I'm missing something, I'm surprised Qualaroo doesn't calculate NPS for you. I had to export the results to a Google Sheet and calculate the NPS that way.

They also don't allow you to do much analysis through the web app. Although they allow you to segment on OS/Browser, you are unable to do so by the other attributes they have about the customer.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use Qualaroo for Net Promoter Score surveys. This allows us to better understand customer sentiment. We run these surveys on a quarterly basis. We use the scores overtime to deteremine how effective the previous quarter's efforts have been. We analyze the comments to understand the biggest opportunities and use this to help priortize.

"Basic qualitative data tool - Limited Use"

What do you like best?

Simple integration with tag management.

What do you dislike?

Pricing to value is limited. The tool doesn't offer much that I couldn't get with an out of the box piece of javascript and a google form. The integration with Marketo is, of course, an extra charge but I don't really want to use this kind of tool for lead capture anyway.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The product hasn't changed much since we implemented it.I'm actually a bit surprised at how "static" the tool seems to be.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Surveying users to get feedback on interactions with our tools. Mixing this qualitative data with the quant data that we get from Adobe Analytics helps us answer some of the critical "Whys" that come up in running a digital business.

"Good and easy to use tool to understand customers"

What do you like best?

I like how easy it is to set up and launch surveys. It literally took us one day to set it up. I also like that customer support is very responsive and helpful - I always get my answers in the same day.

What do you dislike?

it's kind of expensive for the limits that are offered. The process of creating a survey can be quite repetitive as you have to make a lot of clicks for one change of flow - It would be great if they added tools to make these easier (e.g. something that allows you to redirect all the answers from one question to the same next question). The Style API documentation is not very detailed - it would be great for example if you have a catalog of each component with their corresponding IDs. Integration with Amplitude would be great too.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you need a quick simple way of doing in product surveys and you don't want to bother your development team, Qualaroo is the way to go. You do need to have access to some tools like Google Tag Manager though.

We are currently using it for segmentation of our customer base - understand what our users use our product for. Up to now, we have had really good results with Qualaroo.

"Qualaroo helps you better understand your users "

What do you like best?

- easy set up; can be implemented using Google Tag Manager so it doesn't require dev work

- lots of options for customization (adding your own logo, colors, adding a time delay to the pop-up, configuring surveys based on specific user actions on the site)

- let's the user easily skip questions

- great and quick support

What do you dislike?

- page speed; the javascript that gets significantly slowed our page performance down

- The data download feature is a little clumsy. The way the data is formatted is not easy to digest, needs a lot of extra formatting work/scrolling.

I would recommend Qualaroo

We are using Qualaroo to learn more about our users and better understand why they are using the product, what their use cases are, what they like, dislike and what features would benefit them. We were able to identify some user pain points that we had never heard about before and we discovered new use cases that help us better position our product in the market and build features that speak to our users needs.

"Easy to use, easy to implement. "

What do you like best?

Qualaroo is easy to setup, customize, deploy and analyze. Whenever we've ran into issues their dev team has been eager to jump on a call to resolve.

What do you dislike?

Surveys can't be dismissed from the screen without some extra work. Would be nice to offer this out of the box without having to do extra coding.

We wanted to have the ability to run multiple types of surveys across the brand to test multiple variables. Qualaroo has allowed us to do that as well as gain product feedback from customers while in the product.

"It's definitely a legacy tool..."

What do you like best?

-fairly straight forward to set up

-easy to view survey results from people

What do you dislike?

-it's not easy to customize survey widget both technically and visually

-the UI can be simplified and easier to use

-not really sure what all the other additional features we use do for us

It's certainly helpful to not have to build an-house tool to capture feedback but it's not the prettiest or most modern tool.

"Using qualaroo in a business setting"

What do you like best?

Simplicity of the tool and export capabilities make it a great tool. The ease of setting up and deploying a survey is great while also being able to drill into the individual responses make it great as well.

What do you dislike?

Not much really. I do think the tool is easy to use and helps our business learn from our customers.

The tool is great for the cost. If you are looking for a strong tool that can delivering great value and insights then look here. I have implemented this tool now in two different companies and have been more than satisfied.

"Quality at low cost"

What do you like best?

The integration and support are fantastic. Even on the installation and testing process, Yotpo have been very professional and helpful. The API process is very strait forward and We're still finding more ways to take advantage of the application. But the best thing has to be their affordability.

What do you dislike?

So far so good. Our Magento site and Yotpo plugging has been flawless.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were looking a good review system to separate the English version from the Spanish. But the high prices of the alternative available on the system we are using for the English site was not making possible an easy transition.

"Qualaroo is good for simple surveys"

What do you like best?

Overall the interface is easy to use. Surveys are quick to set up and you can easily export responses to Excel.

What do you dislike?

Qualaroo does not allow full survey customization. The formats of the survey are limited and do not allow for advanced skip logic and branching. Qualaroo's analysis of survey results are also limited.

Gather customer feedback to make product improvements. Qualaroo has allowed me to collect data from users that can be used to improve our customer experience.
