"quotewerks - Moderate"

What do you like best?

I like the ease of use and how the product ties into our other softwares and helps to manage our configurations for renewals. We use connectwise so it integrates well with it. It also pull all information from the vendors that we have linked through it. The product makes delivery quotes, proposals, scopes of work, renewals, and other sales packets easy.

What do you dislike?

I diislike how slow the application is. We have upgraded many times, but no matter what the speed of the application lags. the appearance of the application is outdated and can use a facelift (new image).

Recommendations to others considering the product

Use the product to its full capabilities. It does have the ability to only quote from, but the most impact you will get from the product is to use it as it is intended. Dont manually type everything in. It is best to upload all your company data and take the time to make sure it is all correct. In the long run it will save time and make putting documents together to send it out a lot easier.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As of right now we do not currently use quotewerks to its full ability. it does tend to become confusing without the proper training from the vendor. It is hard for us to understand the greatness of quotewerks since we only use the basics for it. If you do get this product, i recommend using all aspects of it so it makes the functionality of it more impactful

"QuoteWerks should be a requirement!"

What do you like best?

The integrations between our vendors and accounting package make the process of generating a professional quote through placing an order extremely easy. In the past what would take our company days to do can all be done within minutes - no exaggerating! The output is consistent and professional. The details are accurate. Overall it is a wonderful time saver. if you are in the business of IT sales this should be a requirement for your toolkit.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much to not like about QuoteWerks. In my scenario it requires my accounting package (QuickBooks) to be open for its integration to work correctly. This means that each QuoteWerks user needs a QuickBooks license also. I understand why it has to be done so I am not complaining all that much. I am just noting that if there was a different way to do it I could save on some QuickBooks licensing.

The integrations to vendors and accounting software are the key. It takes all the searching out of the sales process .

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Before QuoteWerks our process was cumbersome and tedious. My entire team hated to respond to sales requests! now with QuoteWerks I can generate an accurate, professional, standardized quote in minutes. We are all now invoicing approved quotes in as little as an hour! Its made a direct improvement to our revenue.

"Happy to be on board with Quote Werks!"

What do you like best?

We've been impressed with the quality of the organization when it comes to their working processes and implementation team. Every employee has been very courteous and most helpful in answering questions or providing additional information needed to move forward with the Quote Werks product What we are going to like best is having all of our product catalogs in one place and uploaded with the appropriate margins placed on them. This should improve many things for us as a company and expedite the proposal and ordering process as well as eliminate errors or forgotten items that can now be bundled together when sold.

What do you dislike?

As with any new system the time it takes to set up the back end of the software so that it performs as you intend it to do. There are some permissions for our users that we will have to play by ear and make adjustments to the longer and more we use the software.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quote Werks should make the proposal process, pricing of products and packages for our customers so much easier as well as more professional looking. Currently we do this in an excel spreadsheet. We sell products for the home and our customers appreciate the visual aspect of seeing the items when giving their final sign off and prior to purchasing. I think Quote Valet will expedite the closing process for our sales team too. We are very new to the product but so far we are very happy with the implementation and the Quote Werks Sales Team.

"Before QuoteWerks"

What do you like best?

What I like best about QuoteWerks it is customizable. You can customize the quotes and other documents, you can also import customized products lists. This is a big plus. Customizing the quotes and other documents was very limited with our previous vendor. Now, if we don't like the way something looks, it is very easy to change. We can also create certain style quotes for a specific customer and name them individually.

What do you dislike?

The one thing I dislike about QuoteWerks is you cannot search by what is in stock. This is the only drawback that I see.

Take advantage of the trial and see if it will fit your needs. If it does, then you can just purchase the license.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to have multiple users logged in at the same time and share quotes easily. We are also able to easily integrate with AutoTask to link with our database of customers.

"Professional leads in no time! "

What do you like best?

Our time also uses ConnectWise so using this program helps save time with data entry. Works well with ConnectWise and drastically speeds up our sales process. QuoteWerks makes it easy to customize our forms. Also, being able to do recurring item quotes has made a huge difference for us!

What do you dislike?

We've encountered a few program crashing issues and sometimes takes frequent reloads to get it to cooperate. This is the only flaw I can think of, however.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Several sales executives as well as the adminstrative assistants use QuoteWerks. Our administrators have the ability to set permissions so the assistants can view the quotes without making changes to them. You should take note, however, that whenever a sales person is out of the office, they do not have the same easy access as the would like to.

Being able to access real-time pricing and availability has been our biggest benefit of using QuoteWerks.

"Good Tool for Good Price"

What do you like best?

Quotewerks is great because it's a functional tool that integrates with our CRM, allows us to collect payments at the time of sale (QuoteValet), and the price is reasonable.

What do you dislike?

Extremely old design. Requires server version to get use out of it. Hard to grasp if you're a new user.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure you have a resource dedicated to learning the software before rolling it out to your team. There are so many places to update information, and you want to ensure someone knows exactly how to use it and can provide support to your team if needed.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Problems solved: ease of quoting clients and collecting downpayments at point of sale. Greatest benefit is being able to move on something without waiting for a check to be mailed and deposited, we can get started as soon as they make payment.

"A solid program with a few quirks"

What do you like best?

Overall it is pretty easy to get used to working in QuoteWerks for the standard user. The admin isn't hard once you learn the nuance of how it works. I think the document form management could be easier but it isn't anything that makes it not worth dealing with.

What do you dislike?

The general template scheme. The document themselves aren't hard but there is a bit of an oddness to it, the email templates seem to be hit or miss, even the spellcheck doesn't work well as spell check keeps trying to check the spelling the HTML not just the email

Make sure you have someone a little geeky on your staff for best results, it isn't normal user manageable.

We get professional looking quotes that out rank other businesses in our field. Consistent usage has given us better results in our invoicing ( connected with quick books) and better history with our customer relationship manager.

"Review from an administrator, after 6 years"

What do you like best?

The fact that we have an international presence requires us to be able to provide quotations in multilingual formats. QuoteWerks allows us to fully customize the layouts.

What do you dislike?

The integration to our CRM could have been stronger. While we can migrate to Opportunities in SugarCRM and create new records and even schedule follow up calls in CRM, the process circumvents our CRMs data requirements, rendering the final record incomplete. There are also certain reports that could be a little more "robust".

Recommendations to others considering the product

Review your sales model and understand the applications that need to communicate with one another - notably, CRM. CRM and QuoteWerks should work hand-in-hand, as both will drive sales.

Greatly assists our pipeline management, allow us to report on capture ratios. We can also quickly review historic data for line items while quoting in a Cost+, List- or static/contract price structure.

"Integrates well with Connectwise PSA"

What do you like best?

Quotewerks provides an incredibly versatile suite of tools and integrates nearly seamlessly with our PSA of choice (Connectwise). It allowed us to remove a lot of frequent mistakes and oversights in our quoting process and has helped us streamline our sales workflow..

What do you dislike?

The UI of the application is a bit kludgy at times and could use an update to feel more at home one Windows 10. The application is incapable of failing gracefully when encountering API issues with Connectwise which while uncommon do happen.

We were disappointed with the built-in quoting functionality of Connectwise and could not believe how much they expected us to pay for Quosal when the functionality should have been built into the system from the beginning.

"Easy and powerful quoting and tracking software"

What do you like best?

I love using this software! It is easy to create a quote and deliver to our clients. I can then track the status of the quote, when and who it was approved by, and view profits created by them.

What do you dislike?

The products section takes a lot of time to create. Etilize helps to find products that we can purchase from other vendors but to get our services and products set up took some time.

Just get the software! Setting up the software can be a pain but once everything is how you want it there is no going back!

We needed a software that would streamline our quotes and provide our clients with something that is easy to ready, accept, and pay for if they decide to move on with our recomendations.

"This is Lifesaving!"

What do you like best?

I love the automation of everything and having it all on one screen!

What do you dislike?

There could be easier automation and ability to link multiple systems together for small offices. We only have a couple people so it's not always beneficial to put it on the network (yet).

Think about making linking systems together easier. SOme companies are like mine and may not have benefits to have it on the network for a short time period. We have had issues linking 2 computers together to make information viewable.

Optimization and automation has been a big problem for my company early on. With the software, we have automated our process and potentially saved thousands of dollars in operations cost.

"Different kind of proposal solution"

What do you like best?

This one is a different kind of cookie. It's not the usual kind of CRM, which means I had to use a different mindset to get around this. (Hey, some things are a habit.) It might be hard for the average CSR user to let go of a few biases, but once we get around that...

This one works.

1. It's affordable.

2. It does offer a turn-key solution to help us evolve our sales, faster.

3. It's easy to set-up and use.

4. I could see why this would be awesome for first-time users or new business owners.

What do you dislike?

There are, unfortunately, more than a few cons about this software. This is even after we change our mindsets about how to use it.

1. There are limited bells and whistles. (Other CRMs offer more and are more easily customizable.)

2. I had a harder time using its search features. I didn't get the information I wanted it the way I wanted it.

3. The Dashboard is, at best, barely meh.

4. These guys REALLY need to get some apps ready so it's more easily integrated.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This isn't the full CRM you might be wanting. What makes it worthwhile is that it's easy to set-up, easy to use, and easy to get others trained on this system. In terms of writing quotes (and only writing quotes), it's pretty efficient. If you need this to work with apps, especially for those out in the field, you'll be disappointed.

I could train people fairly easily on this, which would make it excellent for the new business owners. It does make writing/modifying proposals/quotes very easy.

"Solid system but not very flexible"

What do you like best?

The ability to re-order line items, change attributes (i.e. capital purchase vs subscription), add leasing options and connect to vendor databases is very useful.

What do you dislike?

The system is cannot be very customized so users need to be instructed which fields are required and which fields they can skip when filling out information. Although it connects to several CRM systems, the connections cannot be customized so you need to adapt your processes to how the software is set up.

We are able to bring in real-time pricing from several vendors in order to quote more competitively. The system also saves time by allowing us to include product literature and proposals before and after quotes within a single PDF file.

"Improved my quotation turnaround by 10 times !"

What do you like best?

I love using QuoteValet , it's a professional way to deliver quotes and ensure that proper approval is given, deposit is paid and terms and conditions are accepted before completing the work,

What do you dislike?

The UI looks a little bit old fashioned, I look forward to seeing some upgrades to the UI with a SaaS based version.

I would recommend QuoteWerks as its great value for money compared to other competing products, has all the features and functionality you could ask for and it will save you time.

"Highly recommended"

What do you like best?

There are certain things I can't imagine doing without and QuoteWerks heads up that list. We are an Autotask user and got by for a few years with the built-in quoting tool, which isn't bad. I heard the pitch a for QuoteWerks few times and decided to give it a try. I was immediately impressed with the integration with Autotask, QuickBooks, and my four main I.T. distributors. I'm getting more advanced now, using option groups and other cool features. The best thing is the ability to quickly send a quote, track when it's being opened (and reopened), and getting that magic "Approved" email. Selling hardware, software, and services is unimaginable without it.

What do you dislike?

There are almost no negatives. I wish it were a hosted cloud app, but it works just fine on our network. We use remoteapp to serve it up and it works fine.

I believe there's a trial. If you can attend training, do so. It's easy to do the basics but going deeper yields even more benefits.

"QuoteWerks Improves Sales Effeciency"

What do you like best?

The Etilize integration and direct distributor ordering is a very time saving feature. Additionally, the ability to fully integrate with Connectwise has improved our process tremendously. We can customize the reports to look exactly like we want them to. This makes us look more professional than our competition not using QuoteWerks.

What do you dislike?

The interface is a bit cluttered and outdated, and sometimes it can be confusing on how to do something, but the documentation and access to support solve any issues we have had.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We highly recommend Quotewerks over the competition like Quosal as it is easier to use, less expensive and fast. The integrations with the PSA systems and QuickBooks are amazing. We save a lot of time and money using the Etilize and Distributor integrations.

We are able to produce nicer looking proposals faster and more efficiently saving us time and closing more deals. Without this tool we'd still be producing quotes in Word manually or just sending stuff our from QuickBooks.

"Great time saver and profession looking quotes"

What do you like best?

By using Etilize we can see the pricing of all our vendors and choose who to purchase from. The quotes are very professional when sending to customers. Ease of use. If you like you can just open a new quote and just start typing. Being able to save as a PDF, email or print the quote. I constantly use all three options.

What do you dislike?

The integration with QuickBooks is an issue at times. It is hard to determine when to stop using Quotewerks and when to start using QuickBooks. I have tried Quote Valet and in our business it was not really necessary. I cannot pull the sales tax rate from QuickBooks. Would like to create a list of most common items used at Vendors so as to not have to search all the time.

Take the training classes they offer and watch the online videos that are provided. It helps in selecting the correct products and the trainers are excellent.

From quoting to invoice completion it is becoming a more streamlined process. We are able to see where we can order at the best price and who has it in stock and order accordingly. With the dash board you can get useful data on your open and closed quotes for tracking purpose. If in a larger organization it would be beneficial to have the dashboard up on a large screen for all to see.

"Improve our ability to quote in minutes"

What do you like best?

The Etilize subscription and real-time integration with our Distributors allows to see stock availability and which warehouse the items are located at. This allow us to provide a realistic delivery time frame inclusive of shipping cost. The items with pictures and description also provides a professional touch to quotes.

What do you dislike?

You have to purchase multiple user licenses to allow for concurrent access.

There is no built-in importation duties calculation for items thats attract imporation taxes and fees.

There is work around using lines entries and formulas.

For optional items without using quote vallet, youn have to create different quotes.

Back is not friendly, you have to copy folders

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Allows us to provide professional quotes and only export won quotes to quickbooks accounting tool for invoices.

Allows to to compute gross margins and commission on sales for sales staff

Bill of materials from Cisco CCW tool can be exported and imported into Quotewerks reducing time to quote.

"Great quoting tool"

What do you like best?

Easy installation, lisensing model is easy to you and they updated the program at least 3-4 time an year.

What do you dislike?

It does not work with my accounting software, sage, however it does work with others.

I believe this is a very powerful tool, it has several integrations available that makes your life easier and makes you look good to your customers. I don’t think it’s too expensive, however they do have addons that can make life easier but will bring the bill higher.

It makes easier for my sales team to create, edit it and send quotes, no need to use excel and it works with out vendors for easy pricing and part catalogs as well.

"Great Proposal Software"

What do you like best?

The software was very easy to use and gave relatively accurate numbers for our quotes. Super easy to use and better quality than microsoft excel

What do you dislike?

There is not much that I dislike. Wish you could connect more CRM applications and sales information

Great product for businesses of all types! Pricing is great and customer service is pretty good. Allows you to combine all the important information about your business and have it in one place. I would definitely recommend this and I will continue to use in my business!

"Quotewerks "

What do you like best?

The ease of use is the best feature. We have some users that are not "technically" savvy. They have been able to pick up using it right away.

What do you dislike?

I still have not found anything too distasteful about the software. I wish I had more vendors that utilize Etilize. That would be the only problem we have found.

Use the trial version and make sure you watch their YouTube videos.

Our goal was to simplify the quoting process for the less technical sales personnel. We also wanted to decrease the time from initial contact to providing our clients with a quote. Quotewerks has done that for us. The integration between Quotewerks and QuickBooks has been the most beneficial. This integration speeds up the process from the sale of the project to the ordering of materials. All around we have found QuoteWerks to be beneficial.

"Quotewerks - I wish I had purchased this 15 years ago"

What do you like best?

I really like the capability to search my vendors and get best prices and descriptions.

What do you dislike?

The help is not always easy to use. When searching for an answer, it is often more helpful to read the manual than go to help.

Consider how many quotes you do per year and evaluate the cost of preparing them against the license.

1.) Get a signed "contract" from customers accepting a quote.

2.) Get realtime pricing and content from vendors

3.) Format and track quotes in a convenient format

4.) Interface to Autotask so there is no duplicate demographic data entry.

"Excellent Software"

What do you like best?

The configurator is a great tool. When we hire a new sales person on, we can have them use that and as they go through, it will recommend items that go with that item and will not offer the wrong option. In all, very easy to get a new person up and running.

What do you dislike?

Reports are hard to setup. I have been able to create 3 but would like more.

Have someone that understands software and read the directions on how to make changes.

Less mistakes on quotes and orders. This includes both solving and the benefits we have received from the software.

"Great Flexible Tool for the whole process"

What do you like best?

I've been using Quotewerks for several years now. It pulls from our Connectwise CRM, creates the quote, and then manages the entire process through followup, approval, purchasing, receiving and billing. No more worries that something will fall through the cracks.

Quotewerks is very flexible, and quick to act on reasonable feature requests.

What do you dislike?

The process to save a quote can be slow at times due to the connectwise integration. Some processes could be streamlined to fewer clicks.

We moved from Excel spreadsheet quotes to Quotewerks. We now have almost no mistakes on proposals, I don't miss checking and rechecking formulas. Previously we had a lot of duplicate entries and manual processes, Quotewerks automates everything from the quote through the invoice and no duplication!

"Great tool, just requires you to put in the time and effort to make it work"

What do you like best?

Ability to pull current inventory from participating vendors with pricing and support materials.

What do you dislike?

Estimates are very difficult to layout and get right without programming knowledge. Optional items are a pain to get to look proper on a quote to indicate they are optional and not included. I think it's very difficult to link spec sheets and pictures to items in the inventory.

Put in the time and money to deploy it properly or you won't be satisfied with the results. It's a powerful tool and takes training and time to implement. You also need to commit to maintaining the database to keep it current.

Professional looking quotes delivered electronically. Our quotes look much more professional and the customers enjoy accepting online with all the tracking that goes with it.

"Great quoting software and proposal delivery"

What do you like best?

My absolute favorite feature of QuoteWerks is QuoteValet, which enables you to send your proposal to a potential client in the form of a webpage. They can select optional add-on items, ask questions and even approve and sign. It has given the company I work for a great edge against our competitors. Since using QuoteWerks, we have won several high dollar contracts. Our customers love how professional the proposals look and we love how everything seems so automated. You can also integrate it with other software, such as Sedona. The integration is pretty seamless and has cut down on the amount of time put into creating new jobs. The bundling feature enables us to create quick proposals for some of our more popular security, camera and automation packages.

What do you dislike?

My only qualm with the software is that the user licenses are set on a 24 hour timeline. If I log in to QuoteValet for even just 3 minutes and then log out, that user license is still registered as being used until the following day.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure to purchase an extra license if you are using QuoteValet and have employees in the office who often log in to keep track of sales and proposals.

The biggest issue we faced before QuoteWerks was being able to quickly and efficiently send a customer who lives 3 hours away a proposal without having to mail it or have a rep drive out there to get the physical signature. QuoteWerks has completely fixed that issue.

"The best quoting software that is out there!"

What do you like best?

Being in the technology field I love the capability to pull pricing, product information and pictures directly from our distributors. Also the QuoteValet feature is amazing and the customers like the easy process of approving quotes and paying.

Patiently waiting for the cloud version of QuoteWerks so that it can be used on any of my devices from anyplace.

"Quotewerks saves hours of my time"

What do you like best?

I hate duplicating work and entering useless information and I don't have to do that with QW. It pulls descriptions and part #'s from Etilize. I can create a PO and send it directly to QuickBooks. I only have add the products that I sell to QuickBooks. the list goes on. But the time saving is the most valuable benefit of using the program.

What do you dislike?

I think most of my dislikes are things that could be fixed with additional training. creating layouts are a challenge for me as well as creating the "item numbers" that work with both QuickBooks and Connectwise.

This is a great tool that does what it’s supposed to do. It’s easy to make changes and adjustments, easier to write in specific discounts, and I like the ability to email my quotes out directly from the system.

What do you like best?

QW has a lot of possibilities for customization and it is quite easy to use. It is stable and new versions are constantly provided with new features.

The UI is a bit old fashinoned and the report generator belongs to the 60's. We need a real WYSIWYG/grphical tool for this...

"Not a fan"

What do you like best?

It's hard for me to find something that I like about QW. I mean, it does the job and it presents our proposals in contracts in an organized fashion. But we can't use the Quote Valet feature or any of the other stuff.

What do you dislike?

Like I mentioned, we can't use most of the features. Also, the communication between QW and CRM is awful. If we close something in QW (won or lost) it almost never closes it in CRM. We have to go back in and manually close the opportunity in our CRM. Also, the projected revenue is practically a made up number. It never matches. We've checked the links and everything -- still wrong. If we turn something over and then make a change, we can't resubmit. In our industry, it's pretty imperative that we can make changes to existing orders.

"Solid tool, professional support, dated architecture"

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks is powerful, flexible, and reliable. Clients like the online approvals, sales people like being able to bang out a quote quickly, and I like how well it integrates into the rest of our systems, including Quickbooks and ConnectWise. Also, their support is great.

What do you dislike?

It's based on an architecture that's about fifteen years out of date. A client application runs on the workstation that hits a flat file database on a file server. We long ago moved it to a RemoteApp/Terminal Server environment, and you will too if you want to be able to use it in and out of the office.

"Love it!"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to give very detailed descriptions with the products I am quoting. In IT it really helps to show exactly what the product you are selling can do. This helps to eliminate a lot of questions and close sales faster.

What do you dislike?

I don't have any dislikes to speak of. If anything, there was a slight learning curve when I first started using QuoteWerks, but that was very quickly done away with after a couple of test quotes.

Spend time during the trial period and play with all the options. I found that there things QuoteWerks was capable of doing for me that I had been trying to do with QB and Word documents before.

I really like using QuoteWerks for submitting proposals to my customers. I was using the quoting tool built into my accounting software before and spent a lot of time explaining what each item in my quote was to customers. QuoteWerks allows me to include pictures and much better descriptions of the items I am quoting. I have found that I spend less time having to explain things and I have actually seen an upswing in the number of quotes I have closed deals on since using QuoteWerks.

"Love This Quoting/Proposing Tool"

What do you like best?

Very capable quoting and proposal solution with a ton of flexibility. Also love the Quote Valet solution that allows a professional, electronic version of the proposal, along with the availability for customer selected options and updated tax and deposit amounts, at the customer's fingertips.

What do you dislike?

There's really not much to dislike. I guess if I had to be nitpicky...I'd like a little more rubust graphical interface, an 'online' version of the software, and a little more tech support, but again...that's being picky.

You cannot go wrong for the investment. They have several different levels of the software and continue to improve on the solution every week. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but it doesn't take too long and before you know it, you'll be putting out thorough and professional looking proposals that will wow your prospects and set you apart from your competition!

We have been able to deliver excellent looking proposals to our prospects/customers capturing all necessary costs and giving the customer the ability to make changes on the fly. QuoteValet also links directly to my merchant services gateway allowing customers to pay either the deposit or whole investment amount via credit card right from the solutions. A professional and robust quoting and proposal solution!

"Streamlined Quote to Order process"

What do you like best?

Fast and easy quoting, updated pricing and ordering from vendors, and secure electronic ordering for clients. Integrates with my PSA and accounting package. We definitely make more sales with this.

What do you dislike?

I really don't have any dislike's other than it took me too long to go ahead with it. I should of done this years ago. There are only a few other vendors out there that do this type of thing. After evaluating many of them, I settled on QuoteWerks.

Take it for a trial spin, compare it to others, pick the 1 or 2 things you really need and evaluate on that. My biggest things were online ordering for clients and import/export to CVS/Excel. QuoteWerks is the only one I found to be able to do that.

Quoting is faster and easier, online order forms make order to delivery times faster, electronic ordering from distributors make for quick and simple processing, without a missed order. Keeping margins in check is also a big plus. We set the default markup or profit, and the default prices are set. I think our deals are closing with much more margin than they did before.

"Cost Effective and Vastly Customizable CPQ"

What do you like best?

The best aspect of QuoteWerks is the ability to create quotes quickly and reliably. Our previous system was burdensome to use. In QuoteWerks many features and actions are just 1 or two clicks away. It has been a joy to train our users on how to use the software.

What do you dislike?

QuoteWerks support is sometimes hard to deal with, but luckily the product doesn't require too much hand holding. Installation and maintenance have been a breeze, QuoteWerks is very easy to work with in our virtual environment.

What do you like best?

For businesses that sell almost anything that involves several or more parts or options, and who want to make a professional presentation of the full proposed quote, QuoteWerks is great. Because it is database driven, and not just a document handler, QuoteWerks makes it easy not just to get quotes out to prospects over the web, but also to manage those quotes over time, receive customer acceptance from a selection of options, and do reporting and analytics on the results. It works great stand-alone, or fits very nicely for workflows that go from a CRM system through QuoteWerks to an accounting system.

What do you dislike?

Hard to say anything I dislike, unless it's that the reporting is not as robust you might hope -- but that's remedied with MasterMine for QuoteWerks.

Recommendations to others considering the product

A few times I've seen people try to use QuoteWerks as a replacement for their CRM system. That won't work -- use one of the CRM systems that QuoteWerks links to. We use GoldMine.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use GoldMine CRM and find that adding QuoteWerks made it possible to handle more complex quotes than a simple, single-product. We produce better looking Quotes, make better reports (across both the CRM and QuoteWerks) and are also able to better track all of the parts of a quote while keeping the "line-item" level information outside the CRM.

Ease of creating quotes. Flexibility is setting up a workflow that works for our company.

I like the ease of adding optional items to a quote and moving the quote through to an order and out to GreatPlains. I also like the connectivity to ConnectWise so that I don’t have to double/triple input information in different programs.

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks automates many of the tasks we use to do manually when it comes to Quoting product and services. But better then that, it has integrated seamlessly into our quoting and purchasing processes. On top of the fact it is a great product, QuoteWerks has a great team. Any time I have presented them with requests for features that would make the product better, and make our workflow smoother, they have been on top of it. I can say without hesitation that QuoteWerks is the single most responsive and client focused vendor we have worked with in over 20 years of doing business. I am without a doubt, a raving fan!

What do you dislike?

Absolutely nothing. The product is excellent and the team responds to all enhancement and support requests. I have never had to wait on hold, and I always talk to a local team member. Don't know what more I could ask for.

Real time pricing, internet based quote acceptance, and then online ordering from our distributors. This has made the quote to order processes seamless and painless.

"Not a bad product, Just not good support"

What do you like best?

Etilize makes it IMMENSELY easier to quote things. While it's a little wonky sometimes with Description, what it does give saves us huge amounts of time tracking pricing.

Quotevalet is a freaking blessing. I don't need to track a Client PO down manually, I just now have quote acceptance emails go to an Ordering Folder so I know ASAP if I need to get an order in. I especially like that you can set a threshhold for quotes that will actually TEXT you on acceptance as well!

While we haven't set up Quickbooks automation the Template Creator is incredibly useful for helping us speed invoicing.

What do you dislike?

The support is terrible, so far their email support always asks us to COMPLETELY open everything up to make things work (If I can't figure out how to fix it myself). IE:

Completely disable our firewall and any antivirus company wide to see if it's the reason we were having massive lag with Quotewerks (Like 15 minutes to save a single line lag, it turned out that we needed to migrate to a SQL DB over their FlatFile and everything worked fine)

Give every salesperson in the company Global Admin Permissions for Autotask (Our CRM and Ticketing system).

Stuff like that isn't just annoying. It's not testable so we end up having to figure out a solution ourselves.

"Best Integration Bidding software"

What do you like best?

There really are too many to list here. I can simply say that the developers at Quote Works have thought of nearly everything you could ask for from a quoting software system. The live feeds and data integration is truly a game changer for my company. If you have employees spending time on looking through price books and searching the internet for pricing, you need this software.

What do you dislike?

It is a bit cumbersome to maintain in a Windows server environment, but I have been told that they are developing a cloud based platform that will eliminate the need to push upgrades across multiple networks. I am the sole administrator of our system so jumping onto every machine remotely can be a pain.

"Quoteworks review based on many years of use."

What do you like best?

We have found QuoteWerks to be reliable and flexible for our quoting needs. It integrates easily with CRM package, in fact we have switched CRM packages and QuoteWerks was easily reconfigured to integrate with our new package. We have multiple staff accessing QuoteWerks and so we are able to easily share and collaborate on quotes. QuoteValet improves the ease with which our clients can approve our quotes and makes it a breeze to report on outstanding vs. closed quotes. We use Etilize and the Real Time lookup that integrate with our distributors so we can quickly determine which distributor has the best price and inventory on hand. QuoteWerks is a critical application we could not do without.

What do you dislike?

There's not much to dislike about QuoteWerks. We get the occasional Windows error and have to shut the app down and reopen it.

"Hapiliy using QuoteWerks since 2003"

What do you like best?

Our favorite thing about QuoteWerks is their support. There have been more than a few times when I didn't think the tool would do what I needed it to do, but each time without fail, when I call support, they quickly identify what I'm looking for and show me exactly how to do what I need.

We love how seamlessly QuoteWorks integrates with our distribution partners, LOB apps, Etilize and payment gateway. The interface is clean, straight forward and intuitive to navigate and yet still provides all of the customization we require for us to accomplish the look and feel of the proposals we create.

We also love how we can pre-configure commonly purchased items and configurations, turn them into a template to be posted on our website so our clients can complete orders, complete with payment, with little or no involvement from us.

What do you dislike?

What I dislike about the product is that there have been times when we have had to re-run the setup process after a product update. I don't know why it is, but it appears we have to run it twice for each update. However, after the second running of the update, it always works. Who knows, maybe it is us.

There are a few aspects of Quotewerks that I really enjoy:

- Integration with Autotask

- Integration with Ingram Micro, Amazon, and other distributors I frequently work with.

- Quotevalet! This is huge for me. I have client's approving quotes from home, using their iPhone, approving quotes early in the morning. So cool!

What do you dislike?

Not a big fan of running the software locally on my desktop. I look forward to their upcoming Web release. I will most likely place the software in to my datacenter downtown and publish via remote desktop or 2X. I've been holding off in putting the effort forth as I believe the web version is close to release; or at least I hope it is.

"Very easy to use, always new features to master"

What do you like best?

I'm using right now QuoteWerks version 4.8, at the time of this writing they're at version 5.0. When it comes to quotes, QuoteWerks gets right down to it. Using it's product wizard you can add your products to it's database with a pricing, description, weights, measurements, and even custom information that you want to add for each item.

With a database for clients, custom pricing and adding new items that aren't in the database. Very quick quotes can be made. (less than 3 mins double checking). QW integrates with outlook so you can send emails with the attached quotes and outlook contacts with a premade email message if you wish.

There are even more things that you can do using quotevalet for clients to pay through it. But due to our type of company and clients we don't use it.

The template of the quotes/orders/invoices are customizable adding images and company logos. Also since you can add a spec sheet, picture and item URL per item. You can send the quote to a client in PDF format, once the client receives it he can click on each item, and will be directed to the product page or your company page for more information on the item.

Better yet, there customer service really helps with their constant webinars and listens to suggestions. We had a few problems with some of our node versions installing there respective updates and they solved our problem. We also asked to implement a few things and after a few months we received an email thanking our suggestions and some of our suggestions where implemented on the newer version.

What do you dislike?

QuoteWerks is a very complete quoting software. It constantly upgrades and implements new systems to it, making it better for the user to offer more for the client. But the problem there lies that some are not so user-friendly, some of them you would need to wait for the next update which changes a few things make it easier to implement in the workday. Customizing the templates takes a little work, since it's very customizable, I understand it takes a little work to make it easier to use.

If you have a small business with 2 or 3 people using it I recommend the standard version. As you probably won' have the need to use the additional features.

BUT, if most of the items you quote come bundled together or are part of a set. I recommend going for the corporate edition, it costs more but the time that you actually save using the bundles is a lot. Specially if this bundles/set have 4+ items.

For us this saves us a lot of time on quotes, which in turn saves us time for other clients.

Implementing QW on our company was a great investment. It solved the current quoting problem the company had which was time consuming and not well coordinated. As different sellers had same items with varied descriptions and prices.

Our companies products change often due to this new information of the product must be made detailing difference and changes from previous versions. Being able to add spec sheets and url info for each of the items, saves us big in time with our clients and gives them the most detailed information.

"Stramline your Commercial Operations Process"

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks has saved me countless hours generating manual quotations and pricing analysis, provides professional templates for proposals, allows for electronic approval from the client, and provides all the audit trails you could ask for. Add to this that it integrates seamlessly with our ticketing system, CRM, and QB and streamlines your purchasing process (integrates with distribution). Bottom line, this is a tool that makes me money!

"QuoteWerks saves sooooo much time!"

What do you like best?

It is powerful and flexible. It is relatively easy to use price data files from almost any vendor. I like having the ability to link documents to the quote, such as terms and conditions and data sheets. I like the Etilize add-on. It allows us to have quotes with product descriptions which customers can understand, instead of the cryptic descriptions used by many distributors. I also like the ability to check our pricing against some of the web retailers, so that we can see if our pricing is in line with the market.

What do you dislike?

This is not exactly a dislike: It is a complicated piece of software. That's also what makes it so powerful and flexible.

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks integrates with all of the things it needs to - my purchasing vendors and CRM (we're an IT service company using ConnectWise). The flow of creating a quote is logical and makes sense, even for someone who doesn't do a lot of quoting. The software is quick and the online help is very useful. The functionality to automatically create opportunities in ConnectWise is invaluable. And don't get me started on QuoteValet - SUPERB product. You can see when prospects open proposals and what they do with them.

What do you dislike?

The screens are a bit clunky and old-school style, and the process of creating new quote templates is cumbersome. However, it isn't a detriment to the quality of the product - I think it is more a function of everything this produce can do for you.

What do you like best?

Tech support it top notch. Have an issue and it is normally fixed on the first call.

Love the ability to accept credit cards for payments on line.

Have a question or issue with Quotewerks and integration with one of their approved platforms they will not just tell you it is the other software's fault they will dig into what is going on and give you an answer not just pointing the finger at someone else.

What do you dislike?

The changing of the quote layouts it tough, I know that they are working on improving this. The way they do their licenses if I move it to a new machine I have to call in and get it re-validated.

"Wonderful quoting tool with integration to CRM and Accounting software"

QuoteWerks not only provides powerful quote generation functionality, it also enhances the sales process when integrated with your CRM system and/or you accounting system. I have used QuoteWerks integrated with both GoldMine and SugarCRM and in both cases I set up QuoteWerks to automatically schedule follow up calls and create sales opportunity records in the CRM system. I also had QuoteWerks set up to integrate with QuickBooks accounting software, which greatly simplifies the quote to invoice and Purchase Order processes. The Product Catalog and Product Configurator are easy to use and provide additional flexibility in generating custom quotes. QuoteValet is a wonderful option to support electronic review and approval of quotes and payment. In the interests of full disclosure, I am not only a QuoteWorks user but I am also a QuoteWerks reseller and have seen dozens of organizations benefit greatly from using QuoteWerks especially when integrated with their CRM system.

What do you dislike?

The only item that I would like to see improved is the quote template builder. It takes a little bit of ramp up to learn how to create and modify quote templates. It's not that difficult, but it would be nice if that could be made a little easier.

QuoteWerks is one of the most flexible, yet powerful quoting systems available for the SMB sales user. With its many connections to other products including CRM, Accounting and others, QuoteWerks just simply rises to the top of the choice of tools for successful sales professionals.

Dislike? I have to think hard about what I dislike.... If I must find something to dislike, I suppose it would be that Aspire does not have a SaaS model of QuoteWerks. I have worked with a number of clients as a reseller of the product and honestly can't recall any negatives. I am sure there are some, but none I can recall.

You need to try it. When doing so, it is highly recommended to work with an authorized partner of QuoteWerks because there are so many features that work WITH your team.

Clients see significant more selling time when they use QuoteWerks. By "selling time" I mean building new relationships, not preparing those quotes. Mote selling time = more revenue for your organization.

"Good software with great support"

What do you like best?

I love the Etilize and database search functions. We also really enjoy that we can create all of our service contracts directly through QuoteWerks, send to the customer through QuoteValet, obtain approval and tie the monthly recurring revenue to the contract. It also has a very strong integration with Connectwise, which is central to our business.

What do you dislike?

My only problems have been when I am not running QuoteWerks from my office network. I believe that this is probably a setup issue on our end that I have not taken the time to resolve since 90% of my quoting is done in house. I had a few issues initially with switching from dual to single monitor intermittently, but found this was easily resolved by checking a box.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The product support has been great, in my experience. The software is easy to learn and the company does a great job of providing training to users. I attended a werkshop recently and found it to be an exceptional value and well worth the time. I have also utilized the chat function and found that this is a quick and easy way to answer my questions.

I would strongly recommend integrating with QuoteValet. Without the QuoteValet piece, we would not get as much out of this software.

We can easily search previous orders, recreate quotes and send everything to connectwise. This saves me a tremendous amount of time. We are a managed services company that relies upon contracts and this tool has helped us manage our contracts as well.

"Not what it was"

What do you like best?

The best thing about QW is its simplicity and flexibility. We have used it for several years and it has been a good workhorse but more recently is has proved unstable

What do you dislike?

You spend a lot of time opening and closing text boxes and the formatting within these is poor (no bullet points for example) Its CRM integration is flaky and the product keeps crashing. Also its report writer is clunky and crap. You should also be aware that if if don't keep updating your product immediately at a cost of 20% of the licence fee once the licence has expired, they will keep racking up the cost of so doing at a punitive rate until you end up paying as much as 65% of the original fee

I am a small company, but my quotes outshine all of my competitors. Quotes that use to take me hours are now completed in 15min.

What do you dislike?

Dislike….. I would have to stretch to able to get one of these. I guess I would have to say that I wish it was offered as a hosted service.

I think the biggest problem that QuoteWerks has helped me with is being able to “Right Sell” my customers. By adding equipment that is needed with an option to go with a lower prices item or a higher priced item, QuoteWerks has empowered customers to decide what their needs are. Couple that with being able to modify quotes in real time while the customer are looking at the quote, allows less back and forth and closing of a quote is a much quicker process.

"Professional Quotes in Minutes, Everytime."

What do you like best?

Having the ability to produce/revise professional looking proposals in minutes which helps save time and improves integrity for proposal writing. Maintaining the professional integrity is so much easier. Having the maximum ability to customise the output of the quotes. Having CRM integration reduces repetition of work to update other records which also need the financial data to be recorded. Integration with Sage and Quickbooks also reduces repeating data input.

What do you dislike?

Many features such as real-time distributors are limited for the UK. Many of the features such as dell purchasing in version 5+ is a USA only feature.

Inaccuracy- we have managed to improve accuracy throughout the workplace with the help of QuoteWerks.

"Powerful and a great software package"

What do you like best?

This is a really great bit of software. It is easy to use and gets the whole team working together. It will do everything that we need and more. From simple product quotes to full proposals it just works. The documentation is some of the best I have seen which is easy to follow. It also links directly to the majority of CRM applications. For the price you would be crazy not to consider it.

I would like to see more of a GUI interface for editing the QuoteValet online option.

The ability to compare multiple products at the same time as well as simplicity of customer ordering are the 2 things that makes Quotewerks invaluable.

The only thing that I dislike about the product is not having the ability to do automatic updates.

Making it as easy as possible for our customers to place orders. The QuoteValet modules enables it so that customers can place orders online with an intuitive interface. This software allows you to have unique templates for the quotes. For our company this has being a great features because we offer many products and each one of them have different warranties and description.

One negative feature will be the actual layout of the software, is not really visually attractive.

"Always a fan!"

The software is very user friendly and very robust. It has multiple ways to connect to other software allowing a seamless process flow for business. There are great training videos available and live staff support to help you when you need it most as well.

What do you dislike?

Run into some issues with the AutoTask connection, but mostly was an AT issue, not QuoteWerks.

Looking for ways to streamline our process flow for quoting projects and having them automatically integrate into our CRM and not create extra work or doing things twice. We have had great success in doing this with QuoteWerks, and also that it connects real time to inventory management to make sure we are getting the right producrs and pricing each and every time. Our clients are impressed with the speed an accuracy of our quotes and the ease in approving and making payments to the projects if required. Very little effort on the end-user and they love that. Very easy to understand and navigate.

"QuoteWerks gets the job done for folks who don't need fancy software"

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks is in a sweet spot for software ... flexible enough for complex quoting that small to medium size businesses neeed without being too much software. It gets the job done. Includes: mulitiple product price lists, quoting by item or configured, report output designer, PDF generator, CRM linking. While I haven't used it, I've taken a close look at their QuoteValet service and it is very impressive for the customer experience. It has minimal capability for orders, CRM, and invoicing.

What do you dislike?

QuoteWerks is based on old software and it shows sometimes. They do keep it up to date, and it it super functional, unlike some old CRM software that I use with it. I would like it to be more cloud-ready.

If you have a diverse product line, or semi-complex products, and want a low-overhead solutions, QuoteWerks maybe the right pick. Don't be dissuaded its non-cloud nativeness.

"QuoteWerks speeds up quoting Servers dramatically!"

What do you like best?

When we quote client projects, especially servers, the details can be overwhelming.

Quotewerks integrates with both our suppliers, like Synnex, and vendors, like HP and Dell.

Our customer can start building the quote from HP's website, then we import it into QuoteWerks.

From there we have full details from the distributor on stock, realtime pricing, and ETA's.

No guess work involved.

Imagine how much time it took to look up part numbers, copy them to the order, check pricing and availability manually, revising again and again before sending the quote. Time is money, and more of my margins go to the bottom line if I can save time. Over an hour per server on average!

All the customer details come directly from our CRM, Connectwise in our case.

And when the quote is accepted, the order can be placed with the supplier and imported into our PSA for invoicing and scheduling. From there, the invoice is imported to Quickbooks.

What do you dislike?

Setup of the software does take time to get it right, just like any integration project.

Hey, it's a big part of why our clients hire us in the first place.

But it is manageable, and QuoteWerks support is great, and patient.

This product is big. Start with the basics, and don't try to add all the extras right away.

That said, QuoteValet should definitely be part of the basics.

"QuoteWerks is an easy to ease and time saving quoting application that supercharged out IT sales biz"

I really like the simplicity of the tool and the ability to quickly generate a quote for our clients. We use Autotask as our CRM and it can link to it to pull the contact information. We also use Etilize function to pull more detailed descriptions and photos. Links to our top distributors help us get accurate costs and availability. Low cost tool allows us to email link to our QuoteValet site so clients can approve quote online, leave a PO or enter CC information and pay right then.

What do you dislike?

Link to Autotask can be slow and generating lots of quotes can take a while.

"Quotewerks has simplified our quoting process, substantially"

What do you like best?

The ability to edit and revision quotes has become so much easier for us and has saved a substantial amount of time. We normally do several revisions for each quote, so this is a huge plus. Also, the ability to have different outputs based on the type of products or services we are quoting.

What do you dislike?

There is a HUGE learning curve to build and edit your quote out puts via the layout templates. It is a not an intuitive process and again, is a huge learning curve to be able to use and alter layouts. I wish there was a better way to create output layouts than currently supplied by Quotewerks. Other than the need to learn out to create the output layouts, the rest of the configuration of Quotewerks is pretty easy to use. The only other thing that could be easier is how to use the profiles and products for different pricing models.

Definitely purchase a quick start professional services engagement from either Quotewerks directly or one of their partners. This will speed up you learning and time to production time tremendously.

It has help us decrease the time to produce a quote and has allowed us to maintain one central place with all pricing, bundles and configs. That maintenance alone has saved numerous hours for me, the admin of the system. Keeping the overall system current and with current pricing is the a huge benefit to us and also a huge time saver.

"Started using in 2011 I believe. I wholly recommend it. Its a truly scalable tool and easy."

What do you like best?

Price, functionality, scalability... The basic tool and support pricing is at the proper price points: stop shopping, I have done it for you. Once configured, the tool gives you the capability to quote quickly and like a pro, and you have the quote and customer histories automatically saved for later reference. Also, you have cloud options now, integrated tool options, and mobile options. This tool is built very well.

What do you dislike?

I have no dislikes, but do have some recommendations. One, responsive sizing on different devices... I quote remotely from my tablet and the tool isn't very responsive on the Lenovo or MS tablets using Google Chrome. Also, a more robust set of prebuilt reports like quarterly taxes, end of year summaries, various formats and graphics, data analytics, etc...

Buy it, its a good deal.

I went from a robust Excel based system to QW. Since then, my quote and CRM life has been so much easier. I have yet to have a need to move beyond the basic package and support, and I have a deep background in the data and systems side of this sort of tool. I know that Quote Valet and the other options are there if I need them later.

"Time saver for IT businesses!"

What do you like best?

I used QuoteWerks both as an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) owner myself, and in later life, recommended QuoteWerks to the IT business owners I work with. Why am I fan? Put simply, QuoteWerks helps to reduce the time IT businesses spend on producing, updating and managing proposals and quotes for their clients.

QuoteWerks also helps distribute the responsibility for producing quotes, as sales and business owners can delegrate part or all of the quote producing process to others in the business.

The integration with PSA tools like Autotask and ConnectWise also means quotes and proposals are easy to track and manage.

What do you dislike?

QuoteWerks can look overwhelming initially. In my opinion, it's not a product that you would try to deploy yourself -- rather, like any decent CRM package, bring in outside experience to help you get it up and running quickly.

Don't try and implement on your own. Bring it experts to help you understand the capabilities of the product and deploy in the right way for your business.

QuoteWerks helps to put a process in place for quotes and proposals where a business either doesn't have a process at all, or has an informal process that tends to cost the business time and energy.

"Very Versatile Software"

What do you like best?

The quoting structure is easy and straightforward, and ties in nicely with our CRM software. Beyond that the customizable reports QW generates save time, provide great measurable data, and help to ensure no business gets lost due to inattention.

What do you dislike?

Frequent database cleanup and maintenance is a must, neglect in this area can cause the loss of issued quotes and slow the program down considerably.

Also, there are functions in the report creation section that are not available that would cut down on report editing.

Recommendations to others considering the product

We have used this program as both a "quotes database only" and as an integral part of our business reporting and planning. In both cases you get the professional looking quote/proposal layout. The more features you use the more you will find the software is capable of. Like all software it does have limitations, however, the limitations in my experience have been minor. One caution, the more you wish to use the software for, the more discipline will be required by the users.

Reports run from quotewerks include revenue projections, current backlog, and lost business among others, these help us prepare month-end and quarterly strategies.

Historic data concerning costs and pricing also help to assess historic lost business and plan to add value for our customers on future inquiries.

"Great product with lots of integration options."

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks has been a great product for us. Support for the product is great and you can talk to someone on phone if you have a question. We have used QuoteWerks for over 7 years and have always loved using the product. The best part of QuoteWerks is the ability to integrate with other software. They also allow us to create a number of product groups / databases for all the different products you sell. The format of the quotes and proposals is completely customizable for your needs. The ability for us to send a quote and proposal electronically and have it electronically accepted and paid for is a huge time saver.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing we dislike about the product. The interface may seem older but it performs fast and works all the time.

Try the product. If you do not have the time to implement it fully please pay QuoteWerks to do it for you. We used it for years before we spent some time implementing most of the features which made a great product even better. All the features are there but many times we just use it for the one problem we have but do not realize how much more software can help us until we spend some time implementing it fully in our companies.

QuoteWerks has replaced multiple spreadsheets and other web products to build quotes. We save hours on each quote we do. The ability to customize the proposal allows us to create a very professional customized proposal in minutes not hours. Even after you create the proposal if you need to change something it takes seconds.

"Great Product. Even Better People"

What do you like best?

The software has great feature set and works well with our PSA (Connectwise). The best part about the software is the support we get from their staff. They have always been great.

What do you dislike?

There quote design engine is a little behind and is sometimes difficult to make quotes look "pretty". Also, there is a high learning curve as it is a pretty complex product.

Training. Take advantage of their multiple training/support resources as it can be a little daunting in the beginning.

Organized quoting and product standardization is Great. Also the integration with our Vendors using Etalize to get real time pricing and product info is awesome.

some of the guy is old looking and the exchange rate changes do not take effect on the cost without having to edit the item all the time.

What do you like best?

QuoteWerks allows me to quickly generate quotes with real time prices from all of the distributors we use. This is clearly an advantage to our competitors who have to manually generate quotes!

What do you dislike?

There isn't anything I dislike about the product. It does everything I need it to do!

"Fantastic tool for building and managing sales opportunities and quotes"

What do you like best?

I have the ability to see when my customer opens and views the quote I’ve sent to them.

What do you dislike?

That quotewerks must be ran locally. I’d love to be able to stay updated from home but cannot. Also it’s a bit frustrating that I can’t integrate it with other software I use. But overall that’s not a big deal.

Being able to generate a customized quote quickly for each customer, then knowing when they view it and following up in a timely manner has gotten us numerous sales.

"Not the prettiest and bulky, but gets the job done."

What do you like best?

It's fairly quick and easy. Can customize each line item with ease.

What do you dislike?

User interface could be updated. Looks like it is ten years old.

Providing quotes to customers. We have not had any need for diving much further into it. Only a means of creating and following quotes.

"Highly Reccommended!"

What do you like best?

I love the integration with my CRM. I pulls in contact info, writes back as a forecasted sale and linked document... very convenient! And since it all accessible through the CRM, it makes it easy to share info company-wide. We get a call from a customer and can quickly open the quote with very little effort.

What do you dislike?

Minor stuff only: It's not multi-monitor aware, hard to pin to the taskbar, have to hit Print Preview to see a WYZIWYG view of the Quote.

The program is VERY feature rich. Working with a QuoteWerks Partner can really give you a good push-start.

Quote Management, Price List Management, Shared Information for all staff members, and GREAT looking quotes with images. It really makes quoting a lot easier than our old Excel Spreadsheets.

The flexibility of QuoteWerks is awesome. I can now do quotes in less time and have a quote layout I am proud of!!!

The learning curve was a bit longer than most software but well worth it!! The video's really helped and got me going !!!

"Good Quoting Software with Intergrations"

What do you like best?

This software integrates nicely with Connectwise. I like being able to create the opportunity in Connectwise through Quotewerks. This saves me some time. I also like the etlize product catalog, which is fairly accurate and pulls many of our part descriptions.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a cloud based version as we are on the cloud based Connectwise. It would make it easier for our sales team to work remote without having to use extra software pieces.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When we switched to Connectwise we wanted a quoting tool that would integrate. This had a pricing model that worked better for us that the other options. Having the ability to save different versions of the same quote without loosing the old version was great as our old software didn't do that.
