When we quote client projects, especially servers, the details can be overwhelming.
Quotewerks integrates with both our suppliers, like Synnex, and vendors, like HP and Dell.
Our customer can start building the quote from HP's website, then we import it into QuoteWerks.
From there we have full details from the distributor on stock, realtime pricing, and ETA's.
No guess work involved.
Imagine how much time it took to look up part numbers, copy them to the order, check pricing and availability manually, revising again and again before sending the quote. Time is money, and more of my margins go to the bottom line if I can save time. Over an hour per server on average!
All the customer details come directly from our CRM, Connectwise in our case.
And when the quote is accepted, the order can be placed with the supplier and imported into our PSA for invoicing and scheduling. From there, the invoice is imported to Quickbooks.
Setup of the software does take time to get it right, just like any integration project.
Hey, it's a big part of why our clients hire us in the first place.
But it is manageable, and QuoteWerks support is great, and patient.
This product is big. Start with the basics, and don't try to add all the extras right away.
That said, QuoteValet should definitely be part of the basics.
Saving time and having accurate quotes are the big reasons we use this software.
In the end it helps us help our clients.
