"We use RecTrac for all of our revenue based services, access tracking, and equipment rentals."

What do you like best?

The best aspect of RecTrac is the front end ease of use. While it can be difficult to create programs and items in the system, it is very simple for our Front Desk staff to use when interacting with students and patrons. Another beneficial item is the ability to put restrictions on different items along gender lines, age, and student status. This allows us to filter our programs to just the groups that are intended to be utilizing them rather than allowing for erroneous activity registrations.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the way in which the archiving system works. Unless everyone is on the exact same page it becomes very hard to access old information. Unfortunately, if you do not use the archive feature, you have to clone or recreate the program to clear entries and this results in having a large number of inactive items in the system. Another item to improve would be the ease with which one is able to customize Point of Sale items.

I would suggest making sure that you can pair RecTrac with your online payment services for ease of use.

The system has been hugely beneficial in helping us to track usage of equipment and the number of individuals coming through our gate on a daily, monthly, and yearly scale. The reports function produces both a PDF and Excel version of everything that we would need to know in order to complete our strategic reports.

"Great for Campus Recreation "

What do you like best?

It is super easy to use, and to teach/train others on how to use it

What do you dislike?

looks old, the site is not modern, and it can be extremely difficult to find what you are looking for. Not simple enough, cannot complete multiple tasks at once, Rec Trac doesn't update quickly, nor can you use your log in on more that one computer. Sometimes there are way to many processes and steps to go through to complete a task.

It is used as out POS system, and is used by students that we trust and train. So the software is easy to learn but could be easier and more user friendly

"Park District Compatibility "

What do you like best?

User friendly for data entry for various programs.

What do you dislike?

Not good as a POS, too many screens to flip through.

This created a more organized platform for the various park district programs and allowed easy access to various participants.

What do you like best?

It is easy to locate everything on the program, convenient for sending emails, entering data and summary sheets.

If you make a mistake when enetering data you have to start over from the beginning.

"Good for reservations."

What do you like best?

User friendly that walks you through tasks even if your not trained.

What do you dislike?

Too many unneeded steps. Crashes for no reason and you have to completely restart your computer.

"Nice Park Management Software"

What do you like best?

The ability to see the live data using the dashboard, included marketing tools and gift cards

The product is a bit slow sometimes (if there is a lot of data to process)
