"great"

What do you like best?

I like being able to search the patients appointment and being able to see when the last appointment was.

What do you dislike?

Not being able to go to the next available appointment and not being able to change the layout of the schedule. We should also be able to only have the schedule up for the hours we are open. The billing is also a little more difficult to use so that takes a little more time when checking a patient out.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Run a trial first to make sure you like it. The schedule is the easiest but other parts such as billing is a little more complicated. When checking a patient out it shouldn't take but a couple minutes, we found it take more than 5 minutes and taking the amount of time makes us less efficient.

Easy to use for the most part and we are more efficient especially for the schedule and searching for the patients appointment.

"Convenient Cloud Based system "

What do you like best?

I like that Rev is available any where at anytime. If I need to work from home it is not an issue. It lets me track what each of my employees has done..

What do you dislike?

Rev is not intuitive at all. It takes tons of clicks and steps to complete any task. It also freezes and times out frequently. After an update, the software is slow. Accounting is very difficult.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be prepared for updates. They re usually on Thursday and the software is slow and full of bugs after.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Rev has allowed us to keep the paper to a minimum. It is nice that when a patient calls we don’t have to go into a big room and pull a chart. Also because it is cloud based there is no need for a server room.

"Easy to use with good options"

What do you like best?

Simple to navigate. Multiple options to configure charts depending on doctor's preferences. Ability to add additional tests or screens within certain exam templates. Chat with customer service is nice too.

What do you dislike?

The update to inventory. It was much simpler and easier to use.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Just do it! It always has a great Imaging Integrator, where it can connect to your different devices in the practice to upload data and photos that are taken.

Running a variety of reports depending on what you need. Searching for patents overdue for yearly exam; patients with a particular insurance, etc.

"very easy to learn"

What do you like best?

the patient interfaces are organized and the layout makes finding information very easy. The schedule page is well designed.

What do you dislike?

a lot of clicking to get you to what you need to see, you have to go through several pages before you get what you want.

"Very efficient and effective"

What do you like best?

Cloud based is the way to go in the evolving patient practices. Very quick and accesibable anywhere. User friendly, and amazing support on the back end

What do you dislike?

Creating reports is a little troublesome

"Ideal for a vision practice"

What do you like best?

Very easy to teach, learn and navigate. If a practice used this program to its full potential, they wouldn’t need any other program.

What do you dislike?

Trying to make medical updates while a provider is in the same visit can be troublesome; I wish it would tell you from the get go that your changes won’t be saved.

Only needing the one program for exams, scheduling, recalls, orders, etc. is excellent.

"Revolution is just that."

What do you like best?

I love how smooth the interface is. It’s easy to input patient information.

What do you dislike?

I don’t particularly enjoy the spam messages you receive regularly from using the program. And the “tasking” system seems a little complicated.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Inputting patient exam information is simpler using Rev than using ExamWriter. I think OfficeMate and Revolution are one in the same when it comes to demographics and insurance information.

"fast and efficient"

What do you like best?

RevolutionEHR makes billing for vision insurance super easy and efficient. Customer service is always there to help when needed. Very easy to use and self explanatory

What do you dislike?

nothing much, sometimes billing processing can take a bit of time

"Constant Crashing"

What do you like best?

Easy to attach patients to other family members that are seen in the same office.

What do you dislike?

Crashes at least twice a week. Very hard to obtain hard copies of information off of software.

I do not see a huge advantage to using Revolution EHR. There are several other software's I have used that I prefer and are actually older.

"New to EHR"

What do you like best?

This is the first time we're switching to EHR and as a new user, this software is so user friendly! The interface is easy to get used to and the process is very streamlined. The customer support is fantastic too!

What do you dislike?

What do I dislike? Perhaps the inability to use secondary insurances.

We are much more efficient at billing and doing claims and it's easier to keep track of the claims using the software.

"Web based optometry ehr"

What do you like best?

Love that I can access work from home if needed.

What do you dislike?

Not being able to change products on an order after it's been approved. No easy way to email a receipt to a patient.

"Simple, user friendly and convenient remote access!"

What do you like best?

I absolutely love that I am able to access patient's charts remotely and look up my schedule at home rather than other programs that can only be accessed at the office

What do you dislike?

Nothing really, very user friendly and simple to use. However, I'm not sure how it ensure that I'm satisfying "meaningful use."

"Revolution!"

What do you like best?

It is nice to be able to see a dashboard of all the details when we are looking up a patient. It is nice to see all their appointments, orders, and notes all in one place.

What do you dislike?

Frequent issues with the system causes slow downloading.

"Great once you get used to it"

What do you like best?

Very easy to use once you get used to all the features

What do you dislike?

It has taken our office about a year and a half to get fully comfortable with the sustem

"Customer service is great"
