"Roslyn has changed my development from a chore to an efficent pleasure"

What do you like best?

Roslyn demystifies a lot of the deeper fundamentals that are required for developing software. With Roslyn you are presented with a much more intuitive interface. Things like methods, properties, events and others are all surfaced as you type, with auto-complete, making it easier to not only write code, but to write good code. And, on top of that, as you write your code it is being parsed on-the-fly to help you avoid compile time errors. With Roslyn your code will be cleaner and stronger, making your life easier.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, after using Roslyn for the first time, I've never looked back. It's been one of the most beloved tools in my digital belt.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Anything that helps make your life easier as a developer is worth consideration. Roslyn was one of those things for me, and has become a mainstay in my development activities.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The overall efficiency gains are what make the biggest different for me. Not only are you writing code quicker, but the code itself is being validated on the fly, as compared to at build time.

"Good Compiler "

What do you like best?

The software is easy to use and it has a nice interface. The autocomplete feature in events, methods and properties etc makes the work simpler, easier and faster as well as accuracy, I would say they are one of the best out there

What do you dislike?

I love it, but I firmly believe that new users may be a little alarmed and it should be simplified for new users who may be looking in to it, I am sure the team could achieve this .

Recommendations to others considering the product

As I do with other products I recommend people give them a try as you cannot tell if it is for you, or if it will work for you without first attempting it, I saw make good use of it and then decide from there if its for you,

"Good compiler of visual basic"

What do you like best?

The software is easy to use and it has a nice interface. The autocomplete feature in events, methods and properties etc makes the work simpler, easier and faster as well as accuracy. Roslyn is one of the best compilers to use APIS for code analysis.

What do you dislike?

Has many advantages than the disadvantages, maybe the company should consider making it simpler and easier to use for the newbies.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't hesitate to use the app. Start now. It is easy to set up and use. Customer suppport is wow !

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

"Great C# and Visual Basic compiler "

What do you like best?

Great compiler of C # and VB.NET that provides a huge amount of APIS and also includes a traditional command line. The truth lives up to the name of ".NET Compiler Platform". Undoubtedly one of the best ones to perform APIS for code analysis and refactoring.

What do you dislike?

The truth does not put many disadvantages ... even if I have to put an inconvenience would say that its learning curve can be elevated for someone who is not 100% familiar with its architecture. But it's not complicated if you're already familiar.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Didn't consider, pick up !

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Little APIS for printer software.

"The best part of the stack"

What do you like best?

It has its shortcomings, but it is a darn fine piece of technology, and it's getting better all the time.

What do you dislike?

It is, perhaps , a little bloated for what it is. There is such a thing as too many features.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's hard to separate Roslyn from the rest of the stack. I have concerns about the direction of the C# language, but Roslyn itself is an impressive technology.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I like that it is modular enough to allow robust plugins, and the fact that it's being developed in the open means that I can track its progress and plan for the future.
