"Social Sales Enablement with the most responsive product and support team I've ever worked with!"

What do you like best?

SalesHood provides a clean and straightforward platform for us to deliver a variety of enablement content - new hire onboarding, product release updates, sales pitch reviews, management coaching, and more.

The SalesHood team is one of the most responsive and engaged that I've ever worked with - when we uncover issues or come up with enhancements the response from the support and product team is amazing and more often than not we have a fix much more quickly than expected.

What do you dislike?

It's an issue that is already in the pipeline to be resolved, but there are many areas the reporting engine can improve to speed up and streamline executive reporting.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely engage with a product demo to try out the features and ensure the product vision for SalesHood matches how you're planning to go about enabling your sales team. There are some quirks that align with the philosophy of the product that are not obvious at first glance.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have dramatically decreased and streamlined our new hire onboarding, leading to a shorter sales ramp to productivity, and we're able to better manage sales follow through on product release updates and sales pitch reviews.

"SalesHood is a different kind of platform"

What do you like best?

I love the ability to customize a learning path. The drag and drop functionality is fantastic. I also love the help and support we get from the team that enables us.

What do you dislike?

I think the reporting functionality, while continuously improving, still needs some work. It would be nice to see the tool operate more like an LMS (even though it's not intended to) so that companies could replace their LMS tools and not have to purchase two tools.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be patient with the team. Just like all companies out there, they also are learning. But they are also willing to take suggestions, improve their product and answer questions from end users.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are improving our onboarding and decreasing ramp. We can schedule learning items to teams across the organization at the prescribed time. We can deep link from our Sales Portal into SalesHood so that we can get the right content in front of our teams with the least amount of effort on their parts.

"Love saleshood. We use it in our sales organization daily and it has made a huge difference to us."

What do you like best?

Saleshood brings the team into alignment around messages. It helps us move faster to the market by allowing us to create a new talk track and then have the team practice it amongst the team. We move faster and in a way that used to take our enablement team far too long to accomplish.

What do you dislike?

Not much. The product solved more than we had believe it would have. When we launched we thought we would end up using a few things but now we use pretty much everything they have to offer. The team is great and has shown us more than we had thought.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This is not something to wait for. Our team waited far too long thinking that we should get some of internal issues in order but this was wrong in hindsight. Saleshood solved our problems far faster and my only regret in hindsight was to wait.

Saleshood is sales enablement best practices in a box. I love what they do for us and would recommend it to anyone

"Terrific platform and team"

What do you like best?

It's difficult to overstate the impact Saleshood can have on a sales organisation. It's not just about giving sales folk new skills or helping them brush up existing ones (although Saleshood is great for this!). It's also about the culture of your team / organisation - encouraging high-performers to share their ideas, empowering managers to take the right step at the right time, equipping everyone to learn quickly and easily. I can't recommend it enough.

What do you dislike?

Less a dislike of the system, more a recommendation that users adopt a clear structure for their library. This makes it easy for users to find content that they want or need.

Definitely worth engaging with the folk at Saleshood. They're a great bunch and open to share ideas and great content.

What do you like best?

Implementation support for STC from Ira,

Dave has been an amazing resource

We appreciate our weekly meetings with Tait to optimize our SH instance.

The Multipliers conference was also extremely enlightening for the entire MINDBODY Enablement Team.

What do you dislike?

The initial implementation of the platform was a bit of a struggle. Most of the guidance was on features and functions, versus how best to set up the experience to garner high levels of adoption. Multipliers gave us some best practices that we immediately put into action. That exposure would have significantly impacted how we initially set up and communicated the platform.

"Director of Sales Enablement, Global Sales Onboarding "

What do you like best?

DocuSign gets a ton of value from Salehood. We have sales teams from around the globe using Saleshood for on-boarding, sales training, and new product training. The video role-play training feature is fantastic. Saleshood also provides a library of sales training content that is very helpful.

Beyond the application, Saleshood's management team is full of experienced Sales Enablement leaders who are always ready to share their expertise and wise guidance.

What do you dislike?

We author some courses in an eLearning software - Articulate Storyline. Articulate Storyline doesn't always run 100% perfectly, but the Saleshood team is always ready and willing to help us troubleshoot.

Recommendations to others considering the product

One of the advantages of going with Saleshood is their client roster and their user conference events. Saleshood's events are great opportunities to meet other clients and hear and learn how they drive value with the product. Their management team is also super experienced in Sales Enablement, so they are great at sharing best practices.

"Invaluable Sales Enablement Tool"

What do you like best?

The ability to quickly push activities to our sales team and instantly track progress. The Manager Dashboard has been crucial to engaging our management team in the use of the tool. Ease of use and mobile has been a nice touch for our remote sales teams.

What do you dislike?

The product is still growing and scaling so some enhancements are still on their way but you won't need to wait long. SalesHood has an aggressive release schedule and has improved rapidly over the last 12 months.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With remote sales teams, you need those individuals to not only be onboarded quickly but also have their skills sharpened during their tenure. We are using SalesHood to push critical trainings to our field teams and using Pitches to share deal wins, deal strategy, and product pitches.

"Great for Pitch Practice, and Culture Building"

What do you like best?

SalesHood delivers a full solution for Sales Enablement and Communications to your Sales Teams. We store and share all of our Sales Enablement content as well as important communications to our Sales Teams right in SalesHood. The reporting allows us to see the reps' engagement with the content.

I also really love that reps can practice their pitch right from their smart phone, upload their video, and their manager and team can view and provide instant feedback. There are a lot of creative ways you can use these videos. As Sales Kickoff pre-work we had Reps submit a video sharing what they were most proud of the previous year and aspirations for the upcoming year. We reviewed hundreds of clips and created a montage that we shared at our Sales Kickoff and it was very well received.

What do you dislike?

It's not that I dislike the reporting, but I do wish the reporting gave me more graphical reporting options. However the usage and engagement data I am able to download is very useful.

Recommendations to others considering the product

SalesHood is a great company to work with. Their support from CEO on down to their support team has been terrific.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use SalesHood across all of our Sales, Communications and Sales Content Delivery Needs.

- Onboarding and Bootcamp - resulting in faster ramp time.

- Ongoing training - new product/feature certifications, resulting in faster awareness and proficiency in new releases.

- Pitch practice/feedback/certifications - providing quick team and manager feedback on pitches.

- Sales and Marketing content delivery in context of SFDC Opportunities. This gives us great viewing/usage data for our sales content. This results in faster access to sales tools without the guess work around where to find the latest content to share with your prospects and customers.

- Sales Communications - we use SalesHood to deliver regular sales news to our Sales Teams resulting in higher awareness of the priority topics for our Sales Teams.

- Ongoing training sessions are recorded and posted to SalesHood for on-demand viewing. This gives us great viewing reporting while giving reps the flexibility to watch on demand either on their laptop or mobile device.

- We used SalesHood as our mobile guide to our Sales Kickoff. This provided a great, mobile convenience to our reps as they navigated the various breakout tracks at our Sales Kickoff.

"Capturing the "Knowledge of the Best and Sharing with the Rest""

What do you like best?

Capturing key knowledge, best practices of an organization and making this available 24X7 to everyone. In any fast-growing company, one of the largest challenges is "scaling" knowledge, best practices, methodology, history, stories and who is who and what they do to assist you in your role. This tool allows taking the best of what every organization has among its people and their experience and capture and share it within the rest of the organization, either outside of a department or extremely important, new employees to "ramp" them up and reduce their "time to value"

What do you dislike?

Some of the terminologies for some of their features was not as descriptive as it should have been, but that has been corrected in the most recent release. Documentation is a little scare, but made up for by their CSMs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take the free training built into the product before trying to deploy anything. It does only take a few hours to go through, but will reduce the time to understand some of the terminology and what to use different capabilities for and in the best way. Leverage their CSM organization, so that you are not burning calories and trying to learn so much on your own. Talks with other users of SalesHood and get some of their ideas. They have an eco-system, with other customers sharing their best practices. Reference this and last, attend their annual conference

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When you are growing 50% yr-over-yr and new people are being on-boarded, to be able to scale our knowledge, best practices AND test the learning of these with what each employee needs to know is very valuable. Our "time to first deal" is down. A quick demo of the tool is useful for recruiting and as we approach a higher headcount, being able to have a repository of "wisdom" for all to share is great.

"Gives me just what I want for Sales Training"

What do you like best?

Ability to use the right modality for training - ppt, testing, video, certification, on-line team training, peer reviews, multiple instances, SaaS, customer service

What do you dislike?

Reporting isn't as complete as traditional LMS however we get what we need from the tool to do comprehensive reporting. And SalesHood is working hard to update that feature set.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're a small enablement team, SalesHood is perfect as the technology tool to help you implement. It's not too large and expensive, easy to administer, and easy to train reps on its usage. I've implemented it twice, once in a startup and once in a public company, and the results continue to astound my investors (CFO, EVP Sales, SVP Sales, VP Sales Strategy)

Training a large and diverse sales team in a structured, scheduled cadence to ensure certification of knowledge and ability to execute to company's high standards. We also use SalesHood as an online playbook.

"Great tool for learning"

What do you like best?

Very structured platform with comprehensive videos and assessments to keep learning on areas even outside your day to day. Makes self development easier, increases the level of accountability and increases the motivation within employees, who are always looking after their career path and how to get there quickly

What do you dislike?

Moving between folders seems a bit complex since sometimes you cannot right click and open the folder in a different tab when you want to open multiple tabs. Not a big deal, but it would make it easier when you are trying to browse different content on different training material at the same time

"Saleshood is leading the way"

What do you like best?

The wealth of rich content provided in the app and the community. I have tried several tools in this category in the past and one of the biggest challenges is having the time and resources to create content. Saleshood has a large community of brand name SaaS companies using the platform and contributing re-usable best practice content that I can share with managers.

What do you dislike?

At some point I would like to see more process automation relating to cohort progression on Learning paths. Recent admin and reporting releases have solved my most pressing concerns.

- Ongoing professional development and enablement for managers

- Getting managers to consistently coach their reps (and having visibility of how this is working)

"SalesHood Rocks"

What do you like best?

SalesHood is quickly becoming the central hub for our sales teams to learn, collaborate, and complete competitions. It has been fun not only to create the content, but to work with the SalesHood team to bring creativity and life to my ideas.

What do you dislike?

Once in a while, I will run into road blocks that prevent me from totally creating content in a way that would work best for my team. But, with SalesHood support, they have been great at addressing these requests and making the product useful for me.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Right now, we have been creating SPIFs for the sales teams. It's been fun watching the reps create content that is shared with the C-levels and fellow sales reps. This will not only be used to decide who will win the competitions, but it will be great collateral to show content such as best CIO deals, best rinse and repeat deals, best partner deals.

"Great for teams that have someone championing the product"

What do you like best?

The videos and guides are great for those trying to learn the product. It's a great way to get your sales team involved and seeing what other people are doing and how the do certain aspects of sales such as sales pitches.

What do you dislike?

No huge reasons why a sales person would put in more time into this unless they were forced to. No incentive to work harder if you're already jammed for time as a sales person.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Have someone champion the product and make them in charge of making sure Sales people do the required tasks. A sales enablement person would be great or sales training. If Saleshood has a CSM or something make sure they're involved in this process. We've had it for about a year an only used it once or twice as a team.

Sales enablement. I've realized different areas of improvement in my sales learning.

What do you like best?

For us, SalesHood has been essential in our Onboarding process and Product Rollout. Our Onboarding paths allow sales to ramp quickly and make the most of our team’s time + SMEs (replicable videos, crowdsourced knowledge) time. From a product perspective, it helps with ensuring all can tell a consistent message / story – extremely important as our product develops and as we scale. As competitive intel is coming through, I’m realizing it’s essential from a crowdsourcing perspective too.

The internal team at SalesHood has been extremely supportive and I've felt like it's a partnership above all; their AE and CSM help us to get to value and care about our customer satisfaction.

What do you dislike?

There's nothing I really dislike about the product. Look forward to continuing to work with the SaleHood Team.

What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

SalesHood has all of the core functionality that you would want in thi type of system and many additional features. At times, the user interface could be easier to use. The team gracefully accepts the feedback and improves, which is fantastic.

What do you like best?

I love that Saleshood creates an environment that allows for collaborative and engaging content while being able to provide valuable data to enablement groups about their learner's progress.

What do you dislike?

Reports. While it does provide valuable data, it lacks some of the more detailed data that are extremely helpful.

Lowering ramp time by the use of guided learning paths. The benefit of using a platform like Saleshood is that it doesn't feel like a traditional online learning environment and it encourages learners to collaborate.

What do you like best?

Best enablement platform available. Their vision to functionality sets SalesHood apart. Best in class workflows ensure each sales resource has the maximum opportunity to succeed through On-Boarding and continued enablement. Analytics help the leaders ensure effective programs and content. Finally, the future vision will ensure your investment will long be worth it .

What do you dislike?

I was a beta customer early on. I lived through many changes, so the majority of “dislikes” are gone. Continued focus on platform uptime and consistency will continue to pay off.

Consistent quota attainment

"Good product, decent people, some growth pains"

What do you like best?

The fact I can do certifications, training meetings with exercises, and learning paths/courses in the same place

Their growth and addition of product can break existing app use cases

Develop a solid relationship with your customer success rep - this person will be instrumental in help you not only implement and test new use cases but also be there with silly things happen to the software (like in all startups).

Onboarding, sales certification, manager coaching tracking, new win videos, product feedback meetings, departmental meetings all in one place allow us to onboard new hires faster, thus making them enter their quota periods quicker, share customer stories so that everyone can learn from them, and help managers be better mentors, coaches, managers, and trainers

"Great tool for getting info out to Sales"

What do you like best?

Easy to upload and push out content. I *love* being able to see activity and hold the team accountable.

What do you dislike?

I wish Saleshood had a prebuilt taxonomy for organizing content. I worry it's going to get out of control quickly if we don't apply a strict classification system.

Be thoughtful about the content and huddles you push - plan, run, and iterate. Work closely with the Sales Managers to find the right balance.

"Excellent Training Solution for a global workforce "

What do you like best?

I like the ease of use to administer and consume training. The admin console allows me to also review reports on training consumption and create tests for comprehension.

What do you dislike?

I want more flexibility in the mobile app to configure trainings and add users when I’m on the road. This would be tremendously helpful since I’m on the road quite a bit these days.

Business problem - training and enabling a global CSM team (many of whom are remote).

What do you like best?

Easy to upload videos and recordings of training.

What do you dislike?

Information can quickly get buried in the old trainings. It's hard to manage so much info when the company is constantly making new learning paths and huddles.

Make sure that you keep information up to date. It's very easy to use Saleshood as a black hole of training. This can be avoided if you keep the info relevant and concise.

With Saleshood we have been able to train cross-functional teams across a variety of topics. We use it for pre-work training for company meetings, ad-hoc updates, and team QBRs. The benefits we have seen are great. People have good adoption and we've seen an increase in the knowledge we want our reps to have.

"Great Sales Collaboration/Enablment Engine"

What do you like best?

I love the act of practicing and perfecting a video before posting it to my sales team. It got me to practice and rework my pitch, but also motivated others to do the same. It helped us take our role playing to a new level.

What do you dislike?

Not everyone bought in like others. Some people are less confident and willing to record themselves and share, this hindered contributions a bit unfortunately.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a great asset for a sales team, especially large sales teams. I loved watching videos from the enterprise reps and seeing how they pitched the same product I was selling. Very helpful to get new ideas and improve my own selling techniques.

Saleshood allows us to have all of our primary sales onboarding content in one centralized location. It also allows for engagement among new and more tenured employees for coaching and feedback.

What do you like best?

SalesHood listens to its customers; it is not trying to match features with competitors or analyst expectations. They are truly unique in their combination of solutions/features and continue to churn out great additions each quarter.

What do you dislike?

Although reporting has improved over the past year, it's still the one area I'd like to see them really focus on.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Onboarding time has been greatly reduced and the consistency of onboarding has been greatly increased. We have also been able to easily re-use much of that material to cross-train other sales-related teams such as product marketing and product management.

"The best sales enablement & attainment platform "

What do you like best?

The SalesHood platform has everything we need to drive revenue attainment, including sales enablement, sales content management, social learning and coaching, as well as sales methodology content and expertise.

Since deploying SalesHood we have seen a dramatic improvement in sales productivity and revenue per deal.

What do you dislike?

Nothing. It is truly everything we need to drive revenue attainment and messaging alignment across the organization. In all my years leading high performing marketing or sales teams this is the best to truly drive top line revenue results and sales productivity.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We struggled with days to first deal when onboarding new sales team members. With SalesHood we reduced time to first deal down by 70% (over 180 days reduction.

We needed to drive up deal size and Average Revenue per Unit (ARPU). With SalesHood we increased ARPU by 23%, which increased average deal size by ~$50k/deal.

"Great for training and enablement"

What do you like best?

Gives you the ability to create videos, guides, and quizzes to help with knowledge training around releases, pitches, certifications, etc.

What do you dislike?

The mobile site sometimes can get glitchy and isn't very friendly.

Make sure to build "consequences" if people don't finish videos/tests.

"Fantastic tool for all productivity coaches!"

What do you like best?

The ability to share and review pitches in a collaborative environment has been a massive value add to my programmes- i can check where gaps are in knowledge and training and therefore how to drive my focus around upskilling and coaching.

What do you dislike?

The need to keep publishing the huddles when changes are made to it.

"Great for SDR's"

What do you like best?

I loved that you can learn from top performers and learn other ways to pitch the same product. I learned a lot from my peers.

What do you dislike?

Adoption was tough. Sadly not everyone liked it like I did and this does well with lots of participation.

Make sure that your adoption is looked after. I think it would be really important to not force reps to use it as "homework" but somehow you could make it fun so reps use the platform on their own.

"Great for creating a community amongst your team..."

What do you like best?

Saleshood is great to quicky share wins, losses and quite honestly stories in an easy way. Instead of trying to capture best practices and lessons learned via text, users and easily record themselves in a short video and make it available to colleagues.

It's also a great tool for posting collateral and training videos.

What do you dislike?

It's not quite a LMS so if you're looking for a heavy hitting LMS tool which we sometimes desire.

Utilize the resources at Saleshood. They are fantastic people and Elay Cohen, their founder and CEO is a visionary.

"Great tool for sales enablement and onboarding"

What do you like best?

Saleshood is a very easy tool to use and specifically crafted to enable sales reps. Other tool in this space are more traditional LMS tools that don't really speak to the job of a sales reps. Further, the saleshood team are experts in this space, so in addition to a tool you access subject matter experts.

What do you dislike?

The UI is good but needs some improvement.

"One of the better sales enablement platforms"

What do you like best?

The SalesHood platform has many use cases. Within our company, we have at least 6 that all benefit sales performance and sales efficiency.

What do you dislike?

The platform has random bugs and missing some features that I would imagine is common sense, such as the ability to delete exercises within a huddle so I dont have to make a clone of the original just to make some revisions.

The app is my favorite part since I can log on from anywhere and learn more about our company's products.

There are no reminders or alerts (to my knowledge) that I can send to myself to remind me to finish content or re-watch content.

What do you like best?

I really like that You can create learning paths that are customizeable and easy to manage. Being able to assign these learning paths and track content and collect data is also really great.

I don’t like how long it takes to sort and filter through different teams/reps/sales orgs
