"Great Partner in Building our Web Shop"

What do you like best?

The most important benefit for us is that we are leveraging our investment in an ERP system by using it to not only house our customer and product data, but also as the data hub that powers our web shop. It eliminates the need to manually replicate or sync data across our systems or channels. We can also show customers all our products and our product attributes in a web shop that is informative but also looks great visually.

Working with Sana to launch our web shop has been a success for streamlining both our business processes and customer experience. They can see customer-specific pricing, inventory and order history in real time, which makes the online shopping experience easier for them.

The team at Sana worked closely with us, so it felt like the project overall was always collaborative and evolved with our needs. Throughout our partnership, Sana has continuously provided great service, and felt like a true partner rather just a supplier.

What do you dislike?

Because Sana’s out-of-the-box solution offers structured designs, we needed to rely on customizations to get our web shop looking exactly as we wanted, which did end up taking some additional time. However, once completed our web shop was consistent across all regions and will continue to be as we expand or if we build out more web shops. We ultimately were able to achieve the boutique-style look and feel of our brand in our web shop through these customizations, so overall the issue was not major. We also are aware that Sana continually updates its solution, and an upcoming version will make customization much easier, so it is likely to not be much of a problem moving forward when it comes to updates and changes on our end.

Recommendations to others considering the product

For us, most of our order processing and our fulfillment process is now automated. If you want to save time and improve efficiency with your web shop, Sana is a great option. Their solution is more of a consolidated, e-commerce ecosystem than many other providers we considered, and there is much less room for error when the solution is built with your ERP at its core. If your ERP data is up-to-date and accurate, Sana can help you make the most of your investment.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As we scaled and grew our business, we needed a solution that would let us do that seamlessly while also allowing us to maintain our data and web shop effectively. With Sana, we were able to grow while we built out our online presence, for a great value, which is important for us as a small business with no flexibility to invest in a solution that wasn’t going to work for us long-term.

Our main goal was to make the ordering process easier and faster for the retailers carrying our products, and to continue to have this process be streamlined as we expanded. Working with Sana let us do that while also making sure that maintenance wasn’t difficult on our end and that our web store offered enough relevant data to make buying online efficient for our retailers 24/7.

We ultimately saw that the immediate and most notable benefit was that our order fulfillment was up to 20X faster than before. A continually successful solution and partnership with Sana has led us to continue working with them now for 8 years, and it’s been a great working relationship.

What do you like best?

REV'IT!

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take into account; everything CAN be built; that doesnt mean everything SHOULD be built to custom needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Verrijkte productinformatie

New York, is REV’IT! actief in ongeveer 70 landen.

"Implementation and perfomance are very good"

What do you like best?

Sana is integrated within the code of our ERP system so less transfer of data between de webshop and ERP database. So the perfomance is very good. The implementation of the webshop went very smooth. No problems. Nice working with their team of professionals. The new platform Saas makes it possible to use add-ons in the webshop.

What do you dislike?

It's not possible to scramble mailadresses on the website. We would like this to protect from spam.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our B2B customers asked for a webshop. We did not have one till we start the project with Sana. Our company as well as our customers are satisfied with the result.

What do you like best?

What I like best is the integration with Navision, this works really good.

The Claudine module we like, allthough it has some restrictions.

What do you dislike?

Making products available to several types of customers (some have to see them, some can't see them)

The user management doesn't give info back to Navision.

Maintaining the custom pages is hard to do.

Recommendations to others considering the product

A lot of customization is expensive but needed if you require special features.

I would recommend Sana because they work with very professional people that handled our project perfectly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We managed to offer our B2B customers a good and stable platform.

"Domus Lighting and Sana Commerce"

What do you like best?

1. I like the fact that there is now a single source of truth for our products and our product attributes and that we are leveraging our investment in our ERP system which was quite considerable.

2. In addition, our customers love it. They can see their own real-time individual pricing and availability online and place orders directly through to our ERP system. This eliminates time and effort on our end and empowers customers to make their own decisions and find information at their own leisure.

What do you dislike?

Customising certain things are a little hard if you want your website pixel perfect to your design. However, keeping the design locked and structured also helps as it enforces consistency across the site which is important. This is not necessarily a bad thing.

As we're a B2B company, some customers have decided not to use the system because they only want to use their own ERP system within their business which I can understand. However, having a login to our system available to them if and when they want it future proofs Domus Lighting for when B2B ecommerce becomes more mainstream.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you're after an integrated e-commerce solution, we reviewed several other systems and found that this was by far and above the best value for money.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

1. There was no single source of truth for product attributes and data as information was spread across multiple systems and PDFs etcs. With a catalogue of more than 7000 SKUs, this was impossible to maintain effectively.

2. Our old site was non-responsive with a tired looking design. The new site looks great and we've received a lot of positive feedback on it from all our customers.

3. Lastly, we wanted to be able to reduce the traffic of phone calls and emails from customers for enquiries and information that simply wasn't adding value. If customers wanted to look at an old invoice or see an outstanding order, this used to be a cumbersome process. It's not anymore - it's all available in one place in one single view. Allowing our customers to perform these functions online themselves empowers them and they love that.

"No-nonsense E-Commerce solution for Dynamics NAV"

What do you like best?

The integration with NAV is splendid. Our sales backoffice team needed minimal training, while we were able to setup and run a rather large store in a short time.

All our business administration (customer info, pricing, discounts, catalog) can still be managed in our ERP solution (Dynamics NAV) and is perfectly in sync.

The CMS behind the system is easy enough for beginners to find their way, while it's open enough for advanced users to program more complex stuff.

The attention to detail when it comes to SEO and minimal setup time are a big plus.

Overall a very good E-Commerce solution for any company who uses Dynamics NAV as their ERP.

What do you dislike?

The performance is dependent on the NAV service performance. Which on it's own is not a minus for Sana as a piece of software - It's just something to be aware of- especially for on-premise implementation. This has been addressed in the newest version (9.0) with some kind of caching feature...

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are successfully selling our products on-line with a minimum of change in our existing business processes. Our sales backoffice team is able to handle their orders largely in the same way as before, while we are able to offer additional services to our customers such as 24/7 ordering, real-time availability information, dynamic catalog with real-time insight in complex pricing and discount tables.

"Sana takes care of our online business"

What do you like best?

Finding an e-commerce solution that was integrated with AX was tough, until we discovered Sana Commerce. Perfect integration between Microsoft Dynamics and Sana Commerce.

Sana supported our business, this innovation is a success on all fronts.

“With the B2B e-commerce solution from Sana Commerce, we are now able to provide accurate online product information and significantly increase our revenue by selling internationally, 24/7.”

What do you dislike?

After a thorough analysis, we have no comment, only positives.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

If you want to make progress in e-commerce than Sana Commerce is the ideal partner / product. The company is expecting a substantial sales increase. “If we keep going the way we are now, we’ll have an increase to our overall revenue of more than 25%.”

"Seamless ERP integration"

What do you like best?

The integration with our Dynamics Nav ERP is excellent. Stock availability, customer specific pricing, volume discounts, etc are all administered in NAV only and work great in the Sana webshop.

What do you dislike?

The Backoffice is not really user friendly. Apparently this is much improved in the recent 9.0 release.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We now have automated orders from customers we did not get into contact with previously. No more manual order intake and processing. No more problems with pre payment of orders but all orders from unknown customers are now paid online.
