"Service Autopilot is a great fit for us!"

What do you like best?

Great for scheduling maintenance services. If you have used Qxpress, it is just as nuanced, but better. Reoccuring jobs, marketing, etc. I would highly recommend it for any lawn/landscape maintenance provider. After using this cloud based software, I would never go back to desktop.

Service Autopilot integrates seamlessly with Quickbooks.

Anytime we have had an issue, help has been fast and efficient. Yes, you do get a low level person when calling in sometimes, but they will escalate it quickly if it is obvious that needs done.

What do you dislike?

We have had a few hiccups with invoice customization, etc. Just minor details. Overall, I can't really think of one major gripe.

With software, fit is a big key. If you are a recurring service provider, make sure to check this out.

Service Autopilot schedules our jobs stores customer data, routes, maps, invoices, markets, and controls every single function of our landscape maintenance company (2 million in annual sales, about 1,000 active customers.)

"Best Business Decision We EVER Made"

What do you like best?

The efficiency and integration of data. We are able to create an account for a new lead, convert them to a client, add their payment information, create and send an estimate, convert that estimate into a job which is dispatched on the scheduled day, then mark that job completed from the field, charge their account from the field, and email a receipt all with a few clicks and with ZERO double entry!

What do you dislike?

Would like more detailed email functions for talking back and forth with customers and being able to track that within SA. Outgoing emails work great, but the response from customer does not integrate back into SA but rather appear in the inbox of the email address.

Estimate templates that were a bit more customizable would be nice (something along the lines of your "drag and drop" website builders like weebly or wix).

We would like to be able to add a client's new credit card number to their account from the mobile app.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been able to streamline, improve and drastically increase profitability by using Service Autopilot to manage all of our daily operations, including all of our lead, client, scheduling, customer service, estimating, time sheet tracking and billing. We also use the two-way sync with quickbooks desktop premier to make quick work of accounting and report preparation.

"Lots of potential, quite a bite of frustration. "

What do you like best?

Service Autopilot saves us a lot of time when processing snow events. We used to manually calculate each job within a snow event but this system is awesome at tracking employee time spent at each job, adding products used at each event and adding both together to give us totals. Our employees enjoy the app and say its easy to use.

What do you dislike?

We seem to have quite a few software 'glitches'. We finish processing an event only to come back at the end of the month, for billing, to find that our numbers have been changed. Totals have changed due to rounding time, rounding service total amounts, and losing or gaining product amounts. This is very frustrating when we are tempting to tie out and complete billing. Every month we always have an issue with tying invoices (what we send out) and our dispatch boards (where we process the work completed). We've contacted customer service about these issues many times and we have yet to get a real fix. Service Autopilot's audit trail is abysmal. It's doesn't track or audit changes you would like it to and it has an audit trail for changes that never occurred.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be wary about just straight trusting the software calculation, especially if you bill on a monthly basis. It's easy to miss mistakes (or in our case complete changes) made since you've last looked at the event. The reports available are limited so be prepared to do manual work to create a report if it doesn't have what you need. In our case that is a sales tax report.

We use Service Autopilot to process snow removal work. The software has greatly reduced the time we spend processing each snow event.

"Very well designed software that is being upgraded rapidly!"

What do you like best?

The scheduling and routing feature using the mapping tool.

What do you dislike?

Lack of ability to customize route sheets.

This is an awesome software for companies doing any kind of maintenance services. There is lots of flexibility in the way scheduling and routing can be accomplished.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We do so many different services for a large number of clients. Keeping everything scheduled properly and with the correct notes to help the crews get the jobs done right is important. Service Autopilot is the best solution we have found for getting this done. Since we switched, we now schedule and invoice much more quickly than with our previous software.

"Everything I need plus more!"

What do you like best?

I love how we can manage most of our service business in the one place

What do you dislike?

I wish support was better at helping us find workarounds and best practices for our specific needs. I also wish it integrated with Quickbooks Online.

It may take a lot to get set up, but it's very well worth it.

"Still lacking in some places, but good overall"

What do you like best?

Routing/dispatching made easy, GPS tracking for employees, easy to export payroll hours, excellent support team that keeps us updated on new features and trains us on the new functionality.

What do you dislike?

Hiccups with refunding clients (very weird workarounds), data disappearing randomly at times.

Recommendations to others considering the product

They have a great support team and it's easy to learn (they have training videos!) and if you have questions a live trainer can help you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Routing was a massive pain without this software (had to do it in excel! Yuck!). Keeping track of our employees is a lot easier too.

"Great for organization"

What do you like best?

What i like best about this program is the ability to track employees abd schedule routes for jobs.

What do you dislike?

I dislike it because it can become expensive when mobile users are added.

What do you like best?

Help line. They are always there to help when needed and are fantastic.

What do you dislike?

Training Other employees how to use it is a little time-consuming but that would happen with any program
