"OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SUPPORT!"

What do you like best?

It truly is amazing that a company will stand up and be there for you when you need assistance. The ServiceTrade staff are so patient and reliable every time anyone within our company needs help. I honestly don't think that is the best part of ServiceTrade's customer service, I say it is the way they listen to the needs of their customer and evolve with their client's needs. They actually listen and provide us with the added tools to improve our business even more. Thank you ST!

What do you dislike?

The fact that there is no "autosave" feature. If we are a site with limit service when we go from one page to the next and it loses connection our technicians must retype the entire report.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This company actually listens to what their clients are looking for. They evolve with their customer base. Not all industries have the same needs but ST will actually listen to your requests and make the changes that are needed. This means that this platform will grow with your business.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This app/program is great for scheduling our technicians but more importantly, we are able to pull data about each work order that we were not able to get from our previous platform. This data is allowing us to see how to improve our market presence within the various regions of the country that we are in.

"ServiceTrade has allowed us to go paperless!"

What do you like best?

With ServiceTrade our operation is completely paperless and cloud based now. This allows for real-time updates from the field which has greatly improved our customer service. The software is intuitive and helps everyone stay organized. The ability to save pictures and paperwork and then share that with customers in professional looking HTML emails which are preformatted is fantastic. Software will allow integration with QuickBooks, Intacct, and other accounting systems so that invoices don't have to be entered twice.

What do you dislike?

Some pages don't always load instantaneously which can slow the work down compared to a local server based solution. The ability to sort and filter lists of data like customers, locations, and jobs could be better designed.

Recommendations to others considering the product

ServiceTrade probably won't do everything you might expect but what it does it does well and they are constantly updated the features every 2-4 weeks. They are responsive to support questions and feature requests.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Now that we are cloud based we have been able to hire remote service managers who operate in other parts of the state. Getting them set up was just a matter of giving them logins for accessing through their browser. This allows us to expand quickly and affordably.

"Use This Daily And Am Streamlining Processes Based On It"

What do you like best?

I have had many fiddly requests and the support team has been accommodating and friendly. I like the way it allows us to schedule jobs and see who is where. I love the ability for the technicians to add notes, before and after photos, etc. I like that it allows them to clock in and out on site and shows location. It's very useful to have the calendar view and the ability to pair the software with other technologies (wufoo forms, websites, etc.) through zapier.

Pretty good communication between servicetrade and quickbooks online simplifies things for us as well.

What do you dislike?

I'd like further customizations and ability to pair with Weebly instead of WordPress (further customizations are on their way). Support folks are good about getting back to us and being honest about what customizations they can and cannot deliver.

Sign up for their added services - like briefings (they call them "Bearded Briefings" so you can see what's new and get additional tips that make your job easier.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ServiceTrade helps us provide value to our clients - busy property managers. They get photos, updates, and a lot of insight into what we're doing on sight without the need to travel out to watch or hand-hold. We report to them so they can report to their Boards of Directors. This added transparency builds trust- they know we do what we say we will because they have proof in hand, but we've made it a lot easier for them to get that proof.

"Service Trade absolutely revolutionized our business. It is amazing."

What do you like best?

Service Trade understands the needs of service contractors today. Many of us (contractors) are simply not plugged in to the highly valuable technology platforms that we desperately need to compete in the service industry. They have assembled a software platform that is easy to use, easy to learn and yet, provides AMAZING tools that most service companies and contractors could never conceptualize, let alone build, implement and support. They are accessible and interested in my success as a contractor.

What do you dislike?

There is not much I do not like about Service Trade. If I were talking to a friend about Service Trade, I would say that some of my employees faced a bit of a leaning curve to get through. One cannot simply sign up and never work again. They offer live human U.S. based training (a deal sealer for me), training videos, a trouble ticket system, on screen walk through and a growing knowledge center. Like any cutting edge technology, it is exciting to learn, and WELL worth the effort.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely consider these guys as an option for your service company. The truly understand our needs and have created a beautiful platform that they are always improving on! The system is OPEN API which means that you can manipulate your data using outside programs. Unless your company is running 100% smoothly on an automated software platform, I suggest you give these guys a shot.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company went from a literal shoe box full of index cards to Service Trade. It was such an abrupt jump in technology our heads were left spinning. There are so many benefits to using Service Trade that it is difficult to lay them all out. The best way to describe it this. If our company were a car, we went from square wheels to round wheels. Everything just runs smoother and almost all our information is accessible from anywhere.

When evaluating this software, be sure an read their companion book The Digital Wrap. Service Trade is not just a software, it is a re-conceptualization of how contractors do business in the world. There is a philosophy that goes along with elevating your position in the truck/technician based service marketplace. The evasive reality of the situation is that by employing the Service Trade philosophy and technology, not only does business get much easier to do, but your customers are better served and happier. Both your and your customers lives get easier, happier and more enriched.

"ServiceTrade has transformed our business to being super efficient"

What do you like best?

ServiceTrade has transformed our business in ways I never imagined possible. We have eliminated 4 independent software systems by using ServiceTrade and streamlined our business to become very efficient. Our Technicians and Office Staff work very well together sharing real-time information through ServiceTrade; eliminating all the friction and slow down that normally occurs in a service business. We have significantly improved the customer experience across the board, they get immediate information sent electronically on the services performed including a detailed report with plenty of photos and deficiency information followed up by a quote for repairs needed within 24 hours, often times the same day.

ServiceTrade is easy to use, it is well designed so that office staff and technicians can easily learn how to use it and perform their duties more effectively than ever before. Having all operations of our business in one software solution has reduced a lot of administrative work and duplicate entry of data.

The ServiceTrade team also been great to work with, they provide exceptional support with rapid response and worked extremely well with us through the implementation so that the transition was a very thorough and well planned process.

What do you dislike?

My experience has been very positive, there is nothing negative about the software or the company to report. I continue to impressed by what they deliver with constant updates to the software.

I think it's important to not only thoroughly understand the software and whether it meets or exceeds your needs, but it's equally important to know the team and who will be supporting you so that you have comfort with your decision and know that you're partnering with a company/team that you believe in, that you want to do business with for the long-term and that you know has its customers best business interests in mind. The best way to confirm you've made the right choice is to talk to their customers, doing that really helped me understand how well ServiceTrade performed and that I was entering a solid partnership for my business.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The primary business problem we solved was having several software systems not sharing data and causing redundant data entry and very inefficient daily operations to get the basic things accomplished. Similarly important was becoming paperless and no longer having to rely on getting paperwork from technicians, passing it around the office and hoping not to lose any of it. Now everthing is done electronicially, all data and reports are available instantly and ready to be acted on for review, billing, quoting of follow up repairs and deficiencies and the customer is overwhelmed with how transparent we are and impressed with the professionalism of our work and presentation to them.

Being streamlined and efficient in all that we do has made for a much happier work force, employees love the software and enjoy the frustration-free and immediate work-flow so they can process their work faster with clear and concise information and pass it along to the customer for quick turnaround. Our customers are happier, the employees are happier and with the significant savings from becoming efficient combined with higher revenue production per tech, the owners are very happy too.

"ServiceTrade is great!"

What do you like best?

Our company has crews spread out all over the country. ServiceTrade helps us stay organized and communicate with our employees. The customer service is great and very responsive!

What do you dislike?

Sometimes we run into things that were previously available in ServiceTrade, but now we can't do anymore. There are workarounds but sometimes they involve additional programs or extra time on our part.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Organization and communication have improved greatly since implementing ServiceTrade. It has reduced the amount of time we spend talking about doing work and increased the amount of time actually doing work.

"A great software for you to stay ahead of completion "

What do you like best?

The ease of use and cool features that ServiceTrade give you. The quoting features/tracking has really helped us stay on top of our quotes

What do you dislike?

The lack of features without wifi. Technicians aren't able to do some basic stuff on their tablets/phone when their internet connection is poor. Trouble clocking into jobs sometimes.

Organization is a big thing. It's easy to see exactly what's going on with jobs instead of having to play phone tag with technicians. Also the quoting software has been a big hit with our customers

"Service Trade Review"

What do you like best?

Simply the best software program for our business. Allows us to keep track of jobs, frequencies, repairs, etc. Now we never miss a job. Nothing falls through the cracks anymore.

Great support team, that responds quickly, friendly and always eager to help. If you are in the service industry and you are not using Service Trade you are missing out. This program will separate you from your competition and you will be the one the customer thinks of when he needs service.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike. I would like to see templates available for work orders and more options in reporting. My understanding is that is coming in the very near future.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't hesitate. Call for a demo. Ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable then pull the trigger. You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Scheduling and tracking frequencies are our biggest issues. Service Trade has solved those problems for us.

"Self explanatory"

What do you like best?

The overall functions of this product is so overall overwhelming it is a great product to use ARF you are into it

What do you dislike?

It has a few glitches but it can be fixed very easily if you know what you're doing but overall it is a great product

"Excellent Piece of Software"

What do you like best?

I like the functionality the most. It's very intuitive and easy to use.

What do you dislike?

There are some simple coding issues (spelling, redundancies, etc.) but nothing worth mentioning more than that. They exist, but there's not even enough of a concern to call them out individually.

Do it!

Routing our entire service department and all jobs through ST instead of creating paper work orders and trying to follow up with paperwork.

"Simple and user friendly "

What do you like best?

I like that this software is very easy to use. I was able to teach myself a lot of things just by exploring the website.

What do you dislike?

I don't like when the website is down for maintenance. We are a 24 hour company so it can be stressful not having access.

If you want something efficent but simplistic this is the software for you.

I like that everything is accounted for. By using this software we keep track of all work we do. This is important to have a successful company.

"Wonderful company that prides themselves on finding solutions to your every problem."

What do you like best?

Customer service is the best I have ever seen.

What do you dislike?

Nothing. This company is the Cinderella of business management softwares. They came out of nowhere and I see them dominating in the future.

Get rid of your file folders! I know you hate filing. Servicetrade takes care of all of that for you and more!

Servicetrade is ideal for companies that need more structure and organization. With their help we are now a paperless company. I couldn't imagine going without this intuitive, innovative, and thoughtful program.

What do you like best?

Service Trade has revolutionized our Service Department and has given us focus and clarity on where we want this department to go in the future.

What do you dislike?

Very little. Integrating our accounting program with Service Trade has been the most difficult aspect.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Get a demo and review 3-4 other options. I'm sure Service Trade will be the top candidate once you have reviewed similar services.

We have saved ourselves significantly in labor hours and manpower. Our level of internal communication and available information has improved significantly. Our exposure/and recognition with our customers has also improved greatly.

"Great field service platfrom"

What do you like best?

This platform has helped us in 3 key areas:

- Scheduling/Route Planning

- Customer/Employee Communication

- Accountability

At the outset, ServiceTrade is visually appealing and straightforward to navigate. The legwork required in the initial setup is no different from any other platform I have tested - the customer setup, location setup, service setup and job setup are intuitive and ultimately save us time (and money!).

The map-based scheduling feature allows us to visualize routes and location proximity - which can be crucial when optimizing tech routes.

Our customer and employee communication processes have been vastly improved and are now more efficient. No lost paper 'notes' or phrases like 'I meant to tell you...', 'I forgot to mention that...' - the mobile app with work order features is invaluable in effective job management. With customer communication, ServiceTrade allows us to instantly send a job report with onsite issues, photographs and time spent on property. It also allows us to recall past service issues should the customer need to address them.

I would recommend ServiceTrade to any field service business with repeat customers and maintenance agreements.

What do you dislike?

I have not had a negative experience with this vendor or platfrom.

Make the effort to upload and set up all customers, locations, jobs and services - the true benefit of any field service management platform is only realized when all company information is available.

What do you like best?

Intuitive solution that handles almost all situations in an easy to understand and operate format.

What do you dislike?

I wish it had more integrations however, this comment is quickly becoming obsolete since they listen and take action for their customers.

Check this out first and then look at others. This will set a high benchmark and be the best value.

"Amazing productivity!"

What do you like best?

It's great to have a fast and easy way for everyone to collaborate and serve customers all at once with service trade!

What do you dislike?

Not very happy with the fact Adobe PDF suite isn't compatible with service trade. Only xodo pdf editor is compatible, and even that won't upload files to service trade anymore.

What do you like best?

Its extremely patient friendly!! My patients can communicate with our practice and have full access!

"Service Trade "

What do you like best?

I like how quickly we can send completed jobs to customers, as well as update work order notes.

What do you dislike?

I dislike that there are constant glitches and bugs. They also advertised features that silk don’t work after over a year of implementation.

"Service Trade is a very useful tool! "

The ability to view a job in real time is unbeatable.

The dispatch board has a tendency to overload my computer.

We work with restaurants who need immediate answers to questions. By having technicians document with before and after pictures, and audio memos, I can answer all questions accurately.
