"Siriusware Review"

What do you like best?

The different levels of reporting meets our needs well. It is easy to check registration and see how many people are attending our programs. We are able to filter and screen the data easily. System's manager allows us to change the number of tickets in real time. Selling tickets off line has also been extremely helpful.

What do you dislike?

Selling tickets on the tablets prove difficult at times especially when trying to work off-line. The tablet will freeze often and needs to be rebooted when it is not working properly. This is difficult when we are trying to sell tickets quickly and remotely. At times it would be nice if all of the features were in one app. It been difficult at times to move back in forth between Systems manager and report manager.

Recommendations to others considering the product

As long as it matches your full needs Sirisuware is a good option. We ran into some initial issues as the sales platform was meant for ski resorts. we had to adjust some of the features to meet our needs, but once that was done things went pretty smoothly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

One of the biggest programs that sirisuware helped to solve was allowing us to run credit cards off line. We often use the tablets at events that are outdoors and don't have access to the internet. The ability to work off line, even with the challenges with the tablet, had been a great benefit.

"Decent product for ticketing, not suited for membership products"

What do you like best?

The conferences were very helpful and allowed me to meet other users. The product was relatively straight forward and the end-user interface was relatively easy to use.

What do you dislike?

The membership functions were useless. The back-end user interface was not user-friendly. I had to learn SQL to run basic reports. It was definitely NOT created to be a full-service tool.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be fully aware of what your needs are before purchasing this product. The sales team claimed to be able to perform functions that the software just couldn't do. For straight-forward ticketing, it works really well. If you are selling memberships or attempting to integrate with an online sales product, be very careful.

Solved the ticketing problem to some extent. This tool definitely needed further research before it was purchased.

"Siriusware Has Limited Capabilities"

What do you like best?

It's good for keeping track of minute details regarding a guest's visit. (i.e. Time of sale, How many times they visited, Dates visited, How much $ spent, etc..)

What do you dislike?

This software is designed for ski resorts, so as a different type of organization it does not have the flexibility we need.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Thoroughly vet the software before purchasing to make sure it meets all of your needs, and have a great in-house IT team ready to help when their support does not help you.

Record keeping of guest visits, storing member and some donor information, selling tickets and memberships, building group visit reservations.

"SIMPLE TO USE"

What do you like best?

It was a far more modern software we updated to. We were able to do much more within the software itself beyond selling admission to the museum, such as selling and upgrading memberships. We could also access memberships for those who did not have their memberships with them.

What do you dislike?

This software froze often. The user interface was often difficult to navigate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being able to move to electronic selling, finding, and upgrading memberships. Being able to track employee membership sales. Keeping track of daily guests and stats on membership usage.

"Pos manager"

What do you like best?

The flexibility to handle admissions, F&B, retail, photo and etc. setups.

What do you dislike?

The inability to stay ahead of the industry needs, there is a need of workforce expansions, especially developers.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Great for a multi platform system. They are expanding. For a vanilla system with out enhancements they can deliver, but do not have enough man power for developing new ideas.

The EMV requirements of the US.

The interconnection of web to in house pos systems.

"Great for scheduling "

What do you like best?

The ease of use to perform scheduling and payment processing

What do you dislike?

The system went down at lot when we used it at a previous company which would stop sales for a short period of time.

"Works well"

What do you like best?

Excellent integrations. Works very well with IBM Marketing Cloud.

What do you dislike?

The DCI system is a bit opaque for users outside of IT
