"User of SiteLink For 4 years"

What do you like best?

Sitelink is incredible. I have used various software programs over my 30+ years in business and 8 years in self storage and SiteLink is hands down the best software on the market. You can print reports, make edit changes and the accountability for users can be changed depending on rank in leadership.

What do you dislike?

I have tried and tried to find what I don't like about SiteLink and have never been able to find anything I do not like about it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are considering a new software program for your self storage business, SiteLink is the way to go. It is worth every single penny. You will have a wonderful ROI.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am not currently using SiteLink. I am using a program that was developed in-house. It is similar to SiteLink but still does not have the bells and whistles. I was able to generate ad-hoc reports, download them to use as spreadsheets and manipulate the program with ease. It is so easy that someone with little software experience can easily pick it up.

"4 Years of Successful Property Management"

What do you like best?

I loved the reminders screen being right in front of me when I opened the program. It was very user friendly and easy to use. The ability to edit the rental prices was good as well. The overlock walk through print out's were also really clean and easy to read for the property audits.

What do you dislike?

I didn't like that I couldn't text tenants or send mass e-mails without using an outside program. That is actually why we switched. The fact that the program isn't web based and did crash sometimes leaving me without a way to take payments was bad too. They did come out with a web platform later on but it wasn't all that easy to access.

Recommendations to others considering the product

This was a great platform for ease of use and help with reminders for things such as overlocks or past due notices. The back end reports are easy to navigate as well.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It was used for property management and it solved the problem of having everyone on an automated timeline to make their payments. I could set up automatic invoices on certain dates and they would be emailed. I also liked being able to block off units that needed to be cleaned before we rented them again.

"User Friendly"

What do you like best?

The fact that it is straight-forward and if you make a mistake, it can be fixed right away. Also, that there is a support number to call if you are stuck.

What do you dislike?

that the support is not open on weekends

I had a problem with invoices not being sent as an attachment but it was easy to figure out and switch.

"A little confusing, but overall easy to use "

What do you like best?

I love the organization of Sitelink, everything is broken down into categories.

What do you dislike?

Can’t access all tenant info from one screen. Have to go to Payment screen for some, then Tenant screen for other info.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It breaks down billing, very detailed. It’s easy to find anything a tenant may need to know. Really like being able to send prewritten letters from SiteLink, and not have to start an email every time.

"Very easy to use."

What do you like best?

I like the ease of use and easy customer service. I’ve spoken with the company regarding issues on several occasions and have always had a pleasant experience.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I don’t particularly like is when you have a current tenant wanting another unit but I’m not able to link the new account’s billing info with the existing account.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The management summary is a great way for us to keep track during the month to help us reach our goals.

"Best self storage crm"

What do you like best?

User friendly. You can create various document that fit your property needs and mass email tenants.

What do you dislike?

There is not anything i dislike, however it would be nice to have the stand alone addition add company colors

It provides a modern up to date crm. It allows us to auto bill and keep all tenant info in one place. Site link makes it possible to go paperless

"Sitelink is Excellent "

What do you like best?

I like that the program is super straightforward. It makes things easy. And when I don't understand something, their customer support is always helpful!

What do you dislike?

In some pages, when selecting a unit, the highlight color is gray, which makes it hard to find.

Sitelink helps us stay organized and avoid the issue of having to search by hand for our available units.

"Sitelink - easy!"

What do you like best?

Sitelink is easy to use. It basically walks you through the steps.

What do you dislike?

Some items are repetitive. Eg transferring inventory - why offer within same location.

Worth trying

Multi-site management is easily monitored. I can oversee all sites or drill down as needed.

What do you like best?

Taking payments with the ability to be flexible. Leasing is an ease once set uo

What do you dislike?

Credits can be complicated because you have to know the correct sequence in order to finalize credits is not intuitive

"Simplifies Storage Facility Transactions"

What do you like best?

Autogenerated reports, labels, and letters make life much easier, especially during collection times.

What do you dislike?

Slightly antiquated interface. A few extra steps here and there that aren't necessary. Could use a declutter.
