"Potential Unleashed"

What do you like best?

Helps in finding potential recruits and keeps them interested. Allows us to snatch them up when the time is right.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike about this application

If you're looking for a product with a fantastic range of functions, this is it. It takes time to unlock its full potential because some of its features are difficult to use without experience. If you're thinking of buying this product, I would recommend having your team trained properly on the best uses of this application. They will be able to help recruiters use the software at maximum capacity.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are building a large database of candidates to help with future proofing our business. We have a very small team in our HR department and this application has allowed them to free up time and money in recruiting top end prospects and keeping them on our candidate list until the time is right. There is nothing simple about recruiting but this application makes the complicated simple and easy.

"Powerful platform with a ton of potential."

What do you like best?

My favorite features are the Talent Network forms, which allow you to collect data from potential applicants at events or on landing pages. They are easy to create and super useful. I also like the CRM, which allows you to search for the nitty gritty candidate details you need to send really targeted and personalized email campaigns.

What do you dislike?

The platform is not particularly user-friendly. It is difficult to create email templates and landing pages without HTML and CSS experience. The platform can do everything I want it to and more, but I often have to reach out to support for help figuring out how.

If you're looking for a product with a fantastic range of functions, this is it. It takes time to unlock its full potential because some of its features are difficult to use without experience. If you're thinking of buying this product, I would recommend having a small team that takes the learning courses SmashFly offers and really acquaints themselves with the platform. They will be able to help recruiters use the software at maximum capacity.

We're building a large database of potential candidates. We have a steady stream of applicants through nurture campaigns.

"Recruitment Marketing Platform"

What do you like best?

The ease of use with the platform has been amazing. The Talent Acquisition team finds it extremely easy to post a job on various jobs sites. The reporting feature is great for all team members as it lets them know how a particular post is performing. The training of the system was very clear and concise.

What do you dislike?

The system has gone down a couple of times which has caused some frustrations with the team and applicants.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Ensure you take as many of the training sessions as you can. You can purchase service credits for training. I wish we had purchased more, simply to use as refreshers when needed.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were experiencing some candidate drop off during the initial engagement. Smashfly sends an automatic email to the applicant within 72 hours reminding them to apply. We are also experiencing tremendous benefits of engaging the Talent Network in more emails, events to attract them to the company and keep them excited about working for us.

"SmashFly Review"

What do you like best?

I like that I can add candidates, who have not applied yet, as contacts. And add notes to track our correspondence prior to application completion. I like that it syncs our applicants in our ATS to SmashFly. It's also nice to be able to run mass email campaigns for specific jobs.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the significant differences in estimated reach as compared to the actual reach when sending email campaigns. Sometimes we are unable to execute due to extended processing delays (have to wait on too many spins; system slowness), even after we've cleared cache and cookies. For a period of time, we received a number of system errors that were different in nature, slowing down our workday. It also seems like we receive quite a few notifications from SmashFly Support advising of issues and errors that are being worked on frequently.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The benefits are to be able to get mass email campaigns out to all of our contacts who are within a specific territory and job title.

"Great tool and experience thus far!"

What do you like best?

The team members assigned to our account have all been top notch. They are extremely collaborative, flexible, and helpful when it comes to building a solution that will work for our company. Every person assigned to our account is extremely responsive to all of our inquiries. The tool itself is extremely powerful and has automated a tremendous amount of our marketing, sourcing and recruiting processes.

What do you dislike?

The tool is fantastic for English/US based needs. They still have some growing to do when it comes to providing a tool that works equally well for companies with international recruiting needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A more robust and automated solution for recruitment marketing, candidate relationship management, and sourcing.

"New SmashFly User"

What do you like best?

SmashFly is easy to use and takes care of all of our recruitment marketing needs.

What do you dislike?

There is not much currently that I do not like about it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have moved toward a Shared Services model and recruit for multiple facilities. This has helped us bring SEO and recruitment marketing to all of our facilities, ultimately generating more applicants across the system. Resulting in a reduction in time to fill.

What do you like best?

SmashFly is a great way of managing your pipeline of candidates and setting up email campaigns to alert them of open positions that fit their experience.

What do you dislike?

Oftentimes, integrating job boards in SmashFly can be tedious and frustrating when they won't cooperate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use SmashFly as a centralized database for our talent pipelines across our clients. We are able to section off the database, so that people working on different clients aren't poaching candidates from other clients. The marketing aspect of SmashFly has yielded lower time-to-fill and a much higher response rate.

What do you like best?

The customer service provided by SF is second to none.

What do you dislike?

We are encountering some challenges with CRM limitations.

We have been successful in using SF's campaigning functionality to campaign for many of our programs such as ERP, Alumni and University.

"Always has issues"

What do you like best?

Setting Task reminders of who to call everyday

What do you dislike?

Searching for candidates to find organic or duplicates is never accurate.

There are often times SF crashes and we are unable to work because we have to stay out until the issues is resolved.

"Simple, fun"

What do you like best?

It's easy to set up and manage. You can even filter down.

What do you dislike?

It's sort of a reluctant platform with what seems to be bugs throughout.
